Hellow everyone, I'm back from my operation and my day of rest. But for the next few days my diet's gonna consist of things such as mashed potatoes, pudding, jelly and scrambled eggs. So, welcome to the next duel chapter. This time, Yuya vs Zestial. But let me know who you want Yuya to duel next. Chapter 16
Kicking the wasp's nest
"You want me to duel you?" Asked Yuya.
"That's right", answered Zestial. "I heard from Alyssa that you are quite the duelist yourself. Must've gotten that from your father. So, what do you say?".
"I say bring it on" said Yuya. The two of them then turned on their duel disks.
"LET'S DUEL!"
Yuya: 4000
Zestial: 4000
"Mind if I have the first move?" Asked Zestial.
"Be my guest" answered Yuya.
"Thank you, I draw", said Zestial drawing the top card of his deck. "I summon Battlewasp Pin the Bullseye, in attack mode". His monster was a robotic wasp with a big yellow head that had blue eyes and a blue thruster body.

"Now, I activate the effect of another Pin the Bullseye in my hand", said Zestial. "If I control an insect type monster, I can special summon it from my hand. And I'll use the same effect to summon the third one". Two more Pins appeared.
"Now for their special ability", said Zestial. "You now get hit with 200 points of damage for every Battlewasp on my field. So, that's 600 points of damage to you". Needles then struck Yuya.
Yuya: 4000 - 600 = 3400
"I'll place these two cards facedown and leave it to you".
"Thank you, I draw", said Yuya drawing the top card of his deck. "I'll use Scale 3 Performapal Partnaga and Scale 8 Performapal Odd-Eyes Unicorn to set the Pendulum Scale. I'm taking control of this duel starting now". He then placed both cards at opposite ends of his duel disk as the word Pendulum appreared on his duel disk. In one blue pillar was a yellow snake with red stripes wearing a top hat and had a glove at the end of it's tail and the other one was a teal unicorn with a pink mane, a pink tail, a blue vest, a blue horn and hetrochromic eyes.
"Oh, pendulum summoning already" said Zestial.
"You bet", said Yuya. "And thanks to these two monsters, I can summon monsters who's levels range from 4 to 7 all at the same time. Swing far pendulum, carve the arch of victory! My monsters are ready, TO SWING INTO ACTION!". Several energy beams then came down from the sky.
"Aim for the targets Performapal Dag Daggerman". The new monster was a man with curly blue hair dressed up in a blue and purple suit with top hat and yellow dotted bow tie carrying four daggers.

"Quite an impressive array of monsters", said Zestial. "But I wouldn't expect anything less from you Yuya".
"If you think that's good, check out my Daggerman's special ability", said Yuya. "I can send one Pendulum monster from my hand back to my deck to draw 1 card from my deck. So, I return Splashmammoth to my deck to draw 1 card". Yuya then drew the top card of his.
"Now, attack my monsters" said Yuya.
"Not so fast, I activate my facedown card", said Zestial. "The trap, wobble web". Yuya's three monsters were no standing on a web as it started to wobble.
"What's going on?" Asked Yuya.
"You have three types of monsters on your field", said Zestial. "One is warrior, one is beast and one is SpellCaster. Now, you choose one to return to your deck".
'So his trap forces me to get rid of my own monster', thought Yuya. 'If I choose Warrior, I'll loose Daggerman. If I choose Beast, Drummerilla goes. And if I choose Spellcaster, Revue Dancer's gone'.
"I choose my Beast" said Yuya.
"Very well", said Zestial. "Wobble Web! Swallow his Drummerilla!". The area of the web that Drummerilla was on gave way and Drummerilla fell down into a pit.
"That's not the only effect my trap has another effect", said Zestial. "You can't attack any insect monsters this turn".
"If that's the case, I'll place these facedown and end my turn" said Yuya.
"Then it's my move, I draw", said Zestial drawing the top card of his deck. "I summon Battlewasp Sting the Poison". His new monster was a red robotic was with gold antenna and a glass thorax with a purple liquid inside.

"Now, I activate my Sting the Poison's effect", said Zestial. "I tribute a 'Battlewasp' to negate the effect of a monster on your field. I tribute one of my Bullseyes to negate the effect of your Daggerman. GO! POISON POINTER!". One of the Bullseyes on his field then turned into a beam of light and disappeared into Sting the Poison's stinger. It then aimed it's stinger at Daggerman before firing it, plunging into Daggerman's shoulder.
"And that's not all, I can also add another Battlewasp from my deck to my hand" said Zestial taking a card that popped out of his deck.
"Next, I play the spell card, Malting Growth", said Zestial. "If I send the top two cards of my deck to the grave, I can increase the level of up to two insect monsters I control by one. So, my two Pins are now level 2".

"Ans since Sting the Poison's a tuner, I bet you know what happens next" said Zestial.
"A synchro summon" answered Yuya.
"Quite so, I tune level 2 Sting the Poison with my two level 2 Pin the Bullseyes", said Zestial performing the summon. "I synchro summon Battlewasp Halberd the Charge". The new monster was a humanoid armoured wasp with blue and green-yellow armour carrying a battle axe.

"Next, I activate Spirit Stinger", said Zestial. "Thanks to this spell, I can inflict you with 300 points of damage for every insect monster in my graveyard. Just incase math isn't your subject, that means 1200 points are coming your way". Four stingers then came towards Yuya and poked him.
"Ow. Oh. Ow. Jesus!" Shouted Yuya.
Yuya: 3400 - 1200 = 2200
"Only downside is, I can't attack this turn", said Zestial. "And since I'm ending my turn, your Daggerman gets it's effects back".
"My turn, I draw", said Yuya drawing the top card of his deck. "Now, with scale 3 Partnaga and scale 8 Odd-Eyes Unicorn setting the Pendulum Scale, my monsters are ready, TO SWING INTO ACTION!". Two beams of light came down.
"Smash to it Performapal Elephammer!". He monster was a baby blue elephant with a top hat wearing a tuxedo and had a hammer at the end of it's trunk.

"You pendulum summoned again?", asked Zestial. "Why did you do that?"
"For Swingcobra! Attack!" Shouted Yuya. Swingcobra then swung over Halberd and bit Zestial.
Zestial: 4000 - 300 = 3700
"How did you do that?", asked Zestial. "I still have a monster on my field".
"Swingcobra's ability allows it to attack directly", said Yuya. "But, afterwards, he switches to defence mode. Now! Elephammer! Attack Halberd the Charge with Packaherm Pound!". Elephammer then swung his trunk and then smashed Halberd with his hammer.
Zestial: 3700 - 100 = 3600
"Now! Dag Daggerman!", shouted Yuya. "Attack with Direct Dagger!". Dag Daggerman then threw his daggers at Zestial.
"You fell for my trap, go Barrier of Bugs", said Zestial. "All I gotta do is send one insect from my hand to the graveyard and your battle phase ends. So, I send my Arbalest the Rapid Fire to the graveyard to stop your attack". The daggers then disappeared".
"I'll end my turn" said Yuya.
"Then my turn begins", said Zestial. "From my hand, I activate the spell, Resurrection Cocoon. Now, if I give up 1000 life points, I can bring one Insect type monster from my graveyard back to my field. So, welcome back Halberd the Charge".
His monster then returned to the field.
"Next, I play the spell card, Wasp Resurrection", said Zestial. "Now, I can special summon a 'Battlewasp' from my grave, but it's special abilities are negated. So say hello, once again, to Sting the Poison". His monster then appeared on the field.
"Next, I tune my level 2 Sting with my Level 6 Halberd", said Zestial performing the summon. "I synchro summon! Battlewasp Kama the Conquering Bow!". His new monster was a humanoid wasp decked out in dark-green and orange armour holding a bow and arrow.

"I now play Poison Wasp Arrows", said Zestial. "If I reduce my monster's level by 1 and cut it's attack in half, I can inflict you with 200 points of damage for every insect in my grave"..

"So, I count three pins, one Halberd, one Poison and one Arbalest", said Zestial. "And that makes six. So, say goodbye to 1200 life points". Kama then fired six arrows from it's bow at Yuya. Each one just as painful as the last.
"Ow. Ow. Fuck! Fuck! Ow. Fuck!" Shouted Yuya.
Yuya: 2200 - 1200 = 1000
"Next, I play the spell, Soul Synchro", said Zestial. "Now, I banish one tuner and any number of monsters that make up the level of a synchro monster I choose. So, I banish Sting the Poison and my three Pin the Bullseyes". The spirits of his monsters then appeared and performed the summon.
"I synchro summon", said Zestial. "Battlewasp Azusa the Ghost Bow!". This one was another humanoid wasp, only this one looked more female and decked out in maroon armour and yellow cloth. It also carried a bow and arrow, but this time, in the opposite hand.

"And now it's time to synchro summon again", said Zestial. "This time with my two Synchro Monsters". This left Yuya in shock.
"You're synchro summoning using two synchro monsters?" Asked Yuya.
"You better believe it, I tune my level 5 Ghost Bow with my level 7 Conquering Bow", said Zestial performing the summon. "Prepare for the worst sting of your life and there's no antidote for this. I Accel Synchro! Battlewasp! Ballista the Armageddon!". His new monster was a large cybernetic wasp that had plane wings, large jet engines on it's back and three stingers".

"This is the strongest monster in my deck", said Zestial. "It's also got one helluva special effect. I banish all the insects in my grave to lower the attack points of all your monsters by 500".
"All of them?" Asked Yuya.
"All of them" confirmed Zestial.

"Now, attack Elephammer with Ballistic Stinger Cannon!" Shouted Zestial. His monster then began to rapidly fire lasers from it's stingers and destroyed Elephammer.
Yuya: 1000 - 900 = 100
"I'll end my turn" said Zestial.
'I gotta draw the perfect card for this', thought Yuya. 'If I don't I could lose'.
"I DRAAAAAAWWWWWW!". Yuya looked at the card he drew and smiled.
"YES!" He shouted.
"Uh-oh" said Zestial.
"Now, if you would kindly turn your attention to my Revue Dancer", said Yuya. "If I tribute her, she counts as two tributes for a 'Performapal' monster. So, Revue, take a break for now". With a crack of her whip, Revue Dancer disappeared.
"And with her retirement from the field comes our star performer tonight. I tribute summon, level 8 Performapal Odd-Eyes Dissolver", said Yuya. "It's show time, let's wow the crowd". His new monster was an adult male with blue flames for hair wearing black chainmail with silver armour highlighted in purple. He also had dark-purple cloth and carried a staff with gold rings at the tip.

"Only 2000 points, I'm disappointed in that regard" said Zestial.
"Well, you won't be for long", said Yuya. "I activate Partnaga's pendulum ability. One monster I control gains 300 attack points for every 'Performapal' on my field. With Dag Daggerman, Swingcobra and Dissolver, that's an extra 900 points. Go! Positive Party Poison!". Partnaga then bit Dissolver.
Performapal Odd-Eyes Dissolver

"Now, attack Ballista the Armageddon!" Shouted Yuya.
"What?!" Shouted Zestial.
"Now, I activate my Odd-eyes Unicorn's ability", said Yuya. "Since an 'Odd-Eyes' monster is attacking, I can target a 'Performapal' monster and it gains attack equal to it's original attack. And incase you haven't notices, Dissolver is both a Performapal AND and Odd-Eyes monster. GO! Performing Magic!". Sparkles then rained down from Unicorn's horn and covered Dissolver.

"And now for my final card, I play the spell, Performapal Show Scale", said Yuya. "Since a Performapal is attacking it gains an extra 100 attack points for every pendulum scale on my field. Partnaga has 3, Unicorn has 8, Dag Daggerman has 2, Swing Cobra has 2 and Dissolver has 4. So, that's and additional 2100".
Odd-Eyes Dissolver
ATK: 4900 + 2100 = 7000
"This is bad" said Zestial.
"Now! Attack!", shouted Yuya. "Blazing Blue Blaze!". Dissolver then fired a stream of blue fire from his staff and destroyed Ballista. The blast was so great it knocked Zestial off his feet.
Zestial: 3600 - 4000 = 0
Yuya: Winner
The monsters then disappeared as reality turned back to normal.
"That was an amazing duel there mr. Zestial" said Yuya.
"Like wise Yuya", agreed Zestial. "I have no idea what Lucifer has planned. But, if you're part of it, then I am sure it will succeed. So, count me in".
"That's nice to here" said Yuya. Zestial then held out his hand as Yuya shook it.
'So', thought Yuya. 'That's two overlords down. Let's hope I can convince the others'.
