Chapter 22
Battle at Eldorado Part 1
"It's my move", said Mammon as he drew the top card of his beck. "I play Upstart Goblin. Now, I get to draw a card and you gain 1000 life points". Suddenly, gold coins rained on Yuya as Mammon drew the top card of his deck.
Yuya: 4000 + 1000 = 5000
"Any reason why you allowed me to GAIN life points?" Asked Yuya.
"Well, that's so I can play this", answered Mammon. "The spell card, treasure scales. Now, when your life points increase, mine increase by the same amount".
Mammon: 4000 + 1000 = 5000
"I'll place these three facedown, and that will do for now" said Mammon.
"Then it's time for the show to begin, I draw", said Yuya drawing the top card of his deck. "I summon, Performapal Salutiger". His new monster was an anthropomorphic tiger wearing a London guard's uniform.

"Now, attack Mammon directly!" Shouted Yuya. Salutiger then pounced on the attack.
"I activate my trap monster!" Shouted Mammon.
"Huh?! A trap monster?!" Asked Yuya. Suddenly, two zombie Sabre-tooth tiger with two-Rose blue fur. But there was also a lot of gold bones on it.
Guardian of the Golden Land

Type: Zombie

"Say hello to my Guardian of the Golden Land", said Mammon. "And he's in defence mode".
Salutiger then struck it's head but nothing happened.
Yuya: 5000 - 800 = 4200
"Oh, I say, I say, Yuya fell for the old trap monster trick" said Wally.
"I'll place these two cards facedown and end my turn" said Yuya.
"Then it's my turn", said Mammon drawing the top card of his deck. "I play the spell card, Twin Twister. Now, I discard 1 card, to destroy 2 cards on the field. And I'll choose my two face downs". His two cards disappeared.
In the human world.
"Why would he destroy his own cards?" Asked Allie.
"Beats me?" Asked Zuzu.
In Hell.
"Why destroy your own cards?" Asked Yuya.
"Because since the two cards that were destroyed were two copies of the trap 'statue of the wicked'", answered Mammon. "I get to summon a vicious token. Or, in this case, two vicious tokens". Two gold, demon serpents appeared on his field.
"This can't be good" said Yuya.
"It most certainly isn't. I now sacrifice my two Vicious Tokens", said Mammon performing the summon. "Now, meet the ruler of all that's wealthy; Eldlich, the Golden Lord!". The floor then cracked open and liquid gold then rose out of it and the gold began to form into a humanoid shape. This shape a humanoid with gold armour that had black highlights and encrusted with gems and jewels and wore a purple cape.

"Whoa" said Yuya.
"Now my encrusted king", said Mammon. "Attack Salutiger with Golden Curse Blast!". Eldlich then formed a sphere of golden energy in his hands and then fired a beam of it at Salutiger, destroying him.
Yuya: 4200 - 800
"I'll place these two facedown and end my turn" said Mammon.
"Well Yuya, I say, Yuya is getting a run for his money", said Wally. "Especially since the prince of greed has the golden lord out".
"Then it's my turn, I draw", said Yuya drawing the top card of his deck. "Now, it's time to swing this duel my way".
"Oh, I say, oh boy", said Wally excitedly. "We're about to see Yuya's famed Pendulum summon".
"I'll use scale 1 Performapal Gumgumouton and scale 7 Performapal Momoncarpet, to set the pendulum scale", said Yuya. "I'm taking control of this duel, starting now". He then placed both cards at opposite ends of his duel disk and the word 'pendulum' appeared on the tray. On one side was two sheep (one pink and one green) one was smaller than the other and on the other was a purple Flying squirrel decorated like a carpet.
"Thanks to these two, I'm allowed to summon monsters who's levels range from 2 to 6 all at the same time. Swing far pendulum, carve the arc of victory! My monsters are ready, TO SWING INTO ACTION!". Three beams of light then came down.
"Have your wand ready Performapal Whim Witch".
His new monster was a pink cat dressed up like a magician holding a cat toy like a wand.
