Hello hello! I'm back! With a... bit of a spicy chapter ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Well, the first half isn't. It's just some nice enemiesfriendslovers with CrossxShadow. It's the later half that definitely gets into smutty territory with WreckerxShadow, so heads up! I love that big guy in every way.

The next chapter will also have some frisky moments! Nothing too intense still, but ya know! I'm only 75% done with the first base draft and it's already at 5400+ so... oh dear.

ALSO! Want sneak peaks of future chapters? Want to scream at me when I add angst? Good! I got a discord server just for my stories! There's a link on my tumblr (ShadowsStoryStuff) profile masterlist!

Thanks for the comments, even if I cant respond lately!

Warnings: Mild-self deprecation, emotional pining, sexual content, kink mentions, shirtless scenes.

Friends...

Shadow thought they were friends!

Barely containing his smile as he walked back alongside her, their arms occasionally brushing, Crosshair wasn't sure when he last felt this light.

This... happy.

Yes, Crosshair felt happy.

He knew it was a good idea to talk with Shadow alone again.

Even if it started off rocky, they made progress.

He made progress.

And Shadow knew it. She knew he was trying. Knew it wasn't easy, but as long as he tried... she would never turn him away.

She praised his efforts, no matter how small. Rewarded them with even more encouragement and openness, compelling him to try again.

Try harder.

Try more.

This was why the others always wanted to get her praise.

It felt...

Good.

Being with Shadow felt good.

He could admit it now.

Now that they were friends.

Friends... such a simple word yet the weight of it...

Crosshair didn't have many, if any, friends outside of his squad.

Knowing someone else truly cared about his wellbeing...

He couldn't keep the smile from his face anymore.

"Ya know somethin', Charlie?" Shadow began, startling him.

"What?" The question came out far harsher than he meant, but Shadow, thankfully, didn't seem perturbed.

"Was just gonna say, you got a nice smile."

Sithspit she saw it!

Yet a glance at the woman revealed a soft smile of her own, absolving any worry about her words bearing malice.

No, it was... a genuine compliment.

Was this what being her friend unlocked? More kindness and steady reassurance?

He liked it.

But Crosshair tried to mask how deeply the words touched him by shoving her. "Don't go soft on me now that we're on good terms, furball."

"Perish the thought of goin' soft on the sardonic sniper," she laughed.

I'm not the only one with a nice smile.

Friends complimented each other, right? Crosshair didn't have a crush, he just...

Friends. That's all they were.

Not that being friends was insignificant, especially considering how much venom and hate they spewed towards each other at the beginning. But being friends was as far as they could go. They didn't like each other in a romantic sense anyways...

"You good, Cross?"

"Why?"

"Your brows get all scrunched when you're thinkin' hard." A small, cheeky grin revealed those sharp teeth. "And your scowl gets worse than usual."

She noticed little details about him?

Covering his surprise with a scoff and an eye roll, he muttered, "What are you, a shrink?"

"No, but I'm good at character analysis, plus figuring out body language since I write it a lot."

"Figure this."

Acting quickly before he could second guess himself, Crosshair shifted the helmet from one hand to the other and dropped it on Shadow's head.

Shadow halted, a confused trill emitting from his helmet.

For a moment, Crosshair panicked, thinking he'd gone too far. What about her ears? Did it hurt them?

He breathed a sigh of relief when Shadow started looking around curiously.

"Ooo! Interestin'," she chirped, tail swishing side to side. The helmet turned his way. "How you see outta this bucket, though? I'd go crazy with this narrow view."

"The HUD can widen the view, but get used to it after a few months."

Just like he could get used to being playful with Shadow.

"I'll pass on having only a fourth of my vision," she snorted, pulling off the helmet. "Definitely smells like you."

The comment sparked his curiosity. What did he smell like to her with her advanced senses? "Oh?"

"Aftershave, gun oil, lavender tobacco for some reason, and sweat," she listed, handing the bucket back to him.

"Lavender tobacco?" he echoed, tucking it back under his arm.

"Yeah, I don't get it either," she said with a shrug. "But you're a tricky, tricky twig so you're full of surprises and contradictions."

"Got a problem with that?"

Playfulness hid a desperate question. Did she have a problem with him being complex?

Complicated?

Messy?

Shadow laughed again, the absence of scorn relieving him. "Hardly. You wouldn't be Crosshair if you weren't tricky. Keeps things interestin'. Could do without the harsh snaps, but, again, they're becoming fewer. It's just sparrin' now." A soft smile. "I appreciate it, Twiggy."

Warmth spread through him and he nudged her arm. "Like I said, don't get used to it."

She winked at him. "Wouldn't dream of it."

I would...

"Squeaky!"

Cursing the stars as his batchmate's voice reached them through the mist, Crosshair scowled at the approaching demolition expert. Couldn't he have stayed gone just a little bit longer?

Shadow's tail lifted as she saw Wrecker. "Hey, Scruff!"

Her enthusiasm hurt.

Wrecker, missing his armor except his comm, wrapped his arms around her and the rifle at her back. He lifted her off the ground, spinning around once then, noticing Crosshair's glare, he chuckled sheepishly and set Shadow back down. "Tech said you weren't feelin' well, Squeak, but guess Cross cheered you up!"

Nice save, di'kut.

Shadow turned to him and smiled. "Aye, that he did." She extended her hand to him. "Thanks for teachin' me more about guns, Cross."

The sniper shook her hand, all senses focusing on how her hand fit with his. "Welcome, furball."

Shadow nodded, squeezing his hand before letting go far too soon. Turning to Wrecker, she cocked her head to the side. "Somethin' up, Scruff?"

"Oh! Nah, but... well while Hunter finished up cookin' dinner..."

"Out with it, big guy," Shadow chuckled, grinning lopsidedly as she crossed her arms and shifted her weight to one side.

"I just," Wrecker began, scratching the back of his head. "Saw this waterfall on the way up while ya were... asleep and I wanted to ask if ya wanted to go see it."

Shadow straightened. "Waterfall?" She looked down at herself. "Warm or not, I'd be grateful to get this swamp gunk off. Was the pool beneath deep enough to swim in?"

"Yeah!" Wrecker replied, face lighting up.

"Sounds fun!" Shadow said, grinning. Her ears twitched as he looked back at Crosshair. "Though..."

Crosshair shook his head. Wrecker made Shadow happy. Happier than he himself did.

And he liked it when Shadow was happy.

"Go, will take your rifle back."

Shadow's grin stretched ear to ear. "Really? Thanks, Cross!"

That smile...

"Gettin' hungry any-"

Crosshair froze, mind going blank as Shadow lunged forward and wrapped her arms around him tightly.

"-Way."

Shadow was hugging him.

Shadow was hugging him.

Shadow was hugging him!

Granted, her almost crushing hug resembled a half-tackle, arms wrapped around his waist and shoulder angled forward as if she were ready to knock him off his feet, but...

Maker did it feel good.

Even if he wasn't sure whether or not his ribs could withstand much more pressure.

Shadow backed away, still grinning. "I owe ya one!"

Worth it to see you happy.

"Yeah, well... rifle?"

"Here!" Shadow said, pulling the rifle off her shoulder and handing it to him.

As Shadow turned back to Wrecker, eagerly questioning him in rapid-fire style about the waterfall, Crosshair headed back up the hill to the trail shelter.

Once their voices faded, he paused and closed his eyes, recalling the woman's strong hug. Allowing the small smile, he forced the scowl back and continued onward.

Seeing the wooden structure through the mist, he noticed Hunter tending the fire with Tech close by taking notes on a plant.

Hunter looked up. "Guess Wrecker met you both," he noted, glancing at the rifle slung on Crosshair's shoulder.

Crosshair nodded, the pressure of Shadow's arms still lingering like a phantom embrace. He wished he could have reacted quicker. Wished he returned it.

Who knew when, or if, she'd hug him again?

Crosshair went to Shadow's bag and pulled the rifle case out before putting the rifle away. Leaving the bag, he sat by the fire.

It... he just liked Shadow as a friend, right?

He knew the consequences if he liked her more, but ignoring the situation wouldn't do any good.

Staring into the flames as if it may give him answers, Crosshair withheld a sigh. Last thing he needed was Hunter calling him out.

That wouldn't go well.

But... what if he did like Shadow more?

After all, he adored that smile. Her laugh. The way her eyes lit up. Her patience with him. The way she looked after his brothers. Her ferocity in battle. The way she was willing to do whatever it took to protect them. Her teasing shoves.

And, now, her strong hugs.

"What's got you smilin'?"

Crosshair stiffened at Hunter's question. "Thinkin'."

"About Shadow."

"None of your-"

"Not judgin'. Can't, anyways." Hunter's eyes unfocused and a smile spread across his face. "She's somethin' else."

That she was...

"Actually," Crosshair said, heart beating hard within his chest. "What's Shadow's favorite part of the kill?"

Hunter glanced at him. "Ribs."

His eyes widened. She... she gave up her favorite part of the kill earlier?

For him?

"Why?" Hunter asked.

Crosshair frowned. "Just... I was..."

"Yeah?"

Get it out already. You're pathetic.

"I had an idea."

nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

What have I done?

Well, hugged Crosshair.

Hellfire and damnation, he was probably gonna hate me now.

Then again, he hadn't tried to pry me off. And he didn't snap afterwards.

Of all the Batchers... Crosshair would be the most touch starved.

But oh why had I hugged the man?

What if he did hate me now?

Well, in all honesty... if he grew softer towards me despite my various attacks when we first met...

Surely a hug wouldn't make him too mad?

"Just wait, Squeaky!" Wrecker said from in front of me. "You're gonna love this!"

Mind off the twig and focus on the teddy.

Wrecker really was like a big ol' teddy bear with a love for arson paired with destructive tendencies.

Not that I had a problem with that.

Arson was fun.

"I'm excited, Rico," I laughed.

"Rico? Thought I was Tigger!"

"You're like a mix! Rico is a character who loves blowing things up. His catchphrase is 'Kaboom'."

"Then I like that nickname!"

"Glad you do!"

Back and forth we joked until the sound of rushing water met my ears. I started forward past Wrecker, eager to see the falls, but a hand covered my eyes.

"Want it to be a surprise, Squeak," Wrecker said cheerfully.

"Well alrighty but don't let me hit a root-slash-rock or I hit you."

"Understood!"

The sound of crashing water growing louder with every step, I couldn't help but smile at Wrecker's antics. Damn did I love this guy.

"Careful, rocks."

"Noted."

Finally feeling soft sand beneath my feet, I asked, "We here?"

"Yeah! Ta da!"

The gloved hand lifted from my eyes.

Opening them, I gasped.

This... this was the Carrick Creek Waterfall on the trail at Table Rock State Park! Small, yet flowing into a large shallow pool with a sandy bank to one side. Mountain laurel encircled the sides as well as the steep yet short rockfaces surrounding the backside of the pool. Moss and ivy covered the rocks, which were no doubt slick as all hell thanks to the water rushing over it.

It was... all here!

Except for the deck and benches of course, as well as the scores of people usually clustered around the trail, but I didn't mind their absence in the slightest.

"Well?" Wrecker began nervously. "What do you think?"

"Oh, it's beautiful," I breathed, smiling. Damn did I miss this place...

"Not as beautiful as you!"

Smile turning lopsided, I glanced at the man. "Smooth as silk, Wrecker my man."

"You're welcome!" he laughed.

Playfully shoving him, I climbed over the few remaining rocks to the edge of the pond. Expecting ice cold mountain water, surprise sparked through me. "It's warm!"

"Warm?" Wrecker echoed, by my side.

"Yeah! Must be some odd sort of thermal vent deep beneath."

"Because the magic?" Wrecker asked as I waded deeper.

"Aye!" A purr rumbling in my throat as the warmth sent a rush of endorphins through me, I stopped at my knees. It didn't get much deeper from here, but that was fine by me.

Wrecker splashed up behind me. "Oh! It is warm!"

"Yeah!" I laughed, turning to the man.

Oh.

Where... where'd his top go?

Not that I was complaining.

Definition forgone for solid power, my eyes flickered over the various scars scattered across tan skin. A scrape here, an old blaster burn there.

Wrecker laughed and flexed his arm. "Like what ya see, Squeak?"

"Oh yeah, no cap."

"Cap?" he asked, head tilting to the side in confusion.

"No lie!"

"Kark yeah!" He lowered his arm, still flexing. "Wanna feel?"

"Like you need to ask me twice!" Wading over to him, I felt along his arm, appreciating the firm muscle beneath my fingers.

A wicked plan formed in my mind. Snatching his wrist and arm, I yanked him forward, throwing the unbalanced commando past me into the deeper section of the waterfall pool.

But Wrecker was quicker than expected and I found myself crashing into the deep end with him after he grabbed my wrist.

Deep being relative of course, but nevertheless I went under before popping back up.

"That, admittedly, wasn't the plan!" I remarked, kneeling in the sand with the water at my chest.

Wrecker laughed, "Thought ya could pull a fast one on ol' Wrecker, huh?"

"Kinda, but guess you outsmarted me," I teased, shaking wet hair from my eyes.

"Sure did, Squeaky!" Wrecker laughed, sending a tsunami my way.

Using the wave to my advantage, I put distance between us then turned back and shot him a grin. "It's treason, then!" Using my arm, I splashed him back.

"Oh it's on, Squeak!"

"Hang on," I said, tugging off my shirt and tossing it onto the rocks. "Ain't havin' that draggin' me down, sports bra is cover enough."

"Nice abs, Squeak!"

"Why thank you! Now, come at me, bro!"

Was playing a game of chase around a waterfall pool with a space commando childish?

Maybe.

But was I enjoying it?

Hell yeah I was.

Today had been one disaster after another. I was gonna spend some wholesome time with my demolition expert and nobody could stop me.

Except exhaustion I guess.

After a few minutes of constant ducking and dodging around Wrecker, I flopped on the sandbank and tried to get my breath back. Laying on my side wasn't the best way to do that, but alas. "Ugh. I need to get into better shape."

"I like your shape, Squeaky!" Wrecker laughed breathlessly, also panting as he collapsed on his back next to me.

"Feelin's mutual, Scruffy," I replied, weakly punching him before rolling onto my back closer to him. "But damn I don't remember my muscles gettin' this sore."

"Been workin' hard all day. Savin' the sarge twice, defendin' us all from different monsters." His hand brushed mine before he interlocked our fingers. "And looked downright stunnin' while doin' so."

I squeezed his hand. "Thanks, my man."

"Welcome, Squeaky!" He paused. "I could uh... massage your back."

I didn't react for a moment before I turned my head to look at him. "A massage?"

"Yeah! I'm good at 'em!" he said, grinning.

A massage could easily lead to more... interesting activities...

Ah, YOLO.

"Sure, why not? Let's go to the deeper area, water feels nice."

Finding a rock to lean against, I put my back to the demolition expert and sighed happily as strong yet gentle hands began to work on my shoulders. "Nice aim," I mumbled, relaxing under his touch.

"Like I said! I'm good at this!"

"Mmhmm," I purred as his thumbs pressed into either side of my upper spine.

"Hey, your stitches are gone! The god must have made them vanish."

"Probably," I murmured, not focusing on his words so much as his hands. Steady pressure, warmth, gentle caress...

"Don't fall asleep, Squeaky," he laughed, nuzzling behind one ear.

"Watch your nuzzles," I warned halfheartedly. "Gonna wake a different Shadow or nuzzle the wrong spot and I'll twitch and boom! Elbow to the throat."

"Can catch it, Squeak," he murmured, still nuzzling.

"Are you trying to romance me?"

"Maybe?"

"It's workin'."

The hands at my back stopped before tugging me to face him. "Oh yeah?"

"Yeah."

"Then, guess this is a good time... to make a move."

Seems I was right. Nevertheless, I braced a hand against his chest. "Wrecker..."

Immediately he drew back. "Did I scare ya?" he gasped, looking like a kicked puppy. "I'm sorry! I know I'm scary... I just... I'd never hurt you Squeaky!"

Aww poor guy...

"Wrecker, hey. Easy, big guy. It's not your size that worries me. At all." I laughed softly, faint color spreading across my cheeks. "In fact I got a bit of a size kink especially if the guy is muscular." I twitched my ears. "I just... I'm curious, but worry that... well... if it gets to a point where I want to stop but you're riled... you'll be mad at me."

Wrecker looked horrified. "Squeak... that's... I'd never do that! I'm up for anything you are, but I wouldn't... why would I be mad?"

"Because I can't fully please you," I sighed.

There it is...

"I don't like ya for your body!" he exclaimed, then grimaced. "I uh... I do like your body. But that's not the reason I fell for ya." He cupped my cheek. "We go as far as ya want, then we stop. Ok?"

I leaned into his touch. "Promise?"

"Course, Squeaky. Just tell me when to stop and I'll drop the subject immediately."

My ears twitched before returning to their usual position. "Then... how about some quick over the clothes fun?"

"Ya don't have a shirt," he remarked, crossing his arms as he sat back and looked me up and down.

"Well, it was my abs you complimented earlier," I reminded him, staring at his forearms.

"Yeah! But first... can I kiss ya?" He fiddled with his hands. "On... on the lips?"

I grimaced. "Might be my sensory disorder but I don't really like kissing on the lips." I paused, thought for a moment, and slowly said, "But it has been a while since I kissed anyone."

He shifted forward eagerly. "So... can I?"

"For science," I chuckled. I was curious anyway. "Yes, you may. A quick one."

His excited grin softened into a gentle smile as a hand braced by my leg. Hand cupping my cheek, he leaned in.

Oh.

Oh, ok.

Alrighty.

This.

Me gusta.

Warm lips against mine, one hand on my cheek and the other resting under my sports bra between my shoulder blades, Wrecker pulled me closer. Slowly, as if not to startle me. Shifting forward tentatively, his lips turned upwards in a smile when I ran a hand over his arm and squeezed softly.

Faithful as always, he broke it off quickly. "Was that good?" he asked, a shy smile on his face.

"That was... amazing Wrecker," I laughed, grinning.

His own grin widened. "Aw yeah! Can I do it again?" His gaze flickered to my neck. "Or could I... leave my own mark?"

A sharp spike of adrenaline pulsed through me, causing my ears to stand straight up. "Oh you... noticed Hunter's?"

"It's gone now. Thought it was a bruise, but you didn't get hit in the neck," he chuckled.

"That little shit, he said it wasn't noticeable," I groaned goodnaturedly.

"Tech probably didn't notice!"

"Cross most likely did."

"Ya like him too, don't ya?" Wrecker asked gently, a soft smile on his face.

My eyes widened, but I had to nod. "Yeah, Wrecker. I think I do. But he doesn't like me."

"Not so."

I tilted my head to the side, one ear up and another down. "Huh?"

"Should have seen his face when you hugged him! He looked ready to pass out!"

"From shock," I deflected.

"Haven't you noticed how he smiles at you? How he looks at ya? Never seen him that soft!"

I sighed. "Wrecker... much as I'd like to believe it, Cross fallin' for me..." I shook my head. "Not to sound like Techie, but the odds of that-"

"Are high! He does like ya, Squeaky," Wrecker assured me. "I promise."

"Don't make promises you can't keep."

"I don't."

I held his gaze, mind racing.

What if Cross did like me back?

What would that mean?

How could that end?

Wrecker's hand shifted to my shoulder and squeezed reassuringly. "Would never lie to ya, Shadow."

"I know," I replied before shoving away the doubts. "So... about that mark."

"Yeah?"

"Go for it."

"Sweet!" Large hands shifted to my hips as he knelt across from me. "Is this ok?"

"No ass and no tits," I said before frowning. "Ok, maybe my ass. We'll play it by ear."

"Huh?"

"See how it goes. Just be gentle."

"Of course, Squeak!" The tips of his fingers brushed my skin. "Can... can I touch ya? Your stomach?"

"Yeah just... you know we can't go too far, right?"

Even if I want to so damn badly.

"Uh huh. I just..." That sheepish smile returned. "I just wanna feel ya, Squeak."

I reached down and rested my hand over his right. Guiding it higher, a shiver went down my spine as strong, calloused fingers skimmed higher on my stomach. Not that there was much for him to feel; I was almost all leg with hardly any torso.

Wrecker didn't seem to mind. "Got soft skin, Squeaky," he breathed.

"Don't insult me," I snorted as his hand traveled further up.

"Wouldn't dream of it," he laughed, his other hand slipping around to the small of my back and tugging me closer so I straddled his knees.

Hell his hand was big. And strong. And oh fuck was I a goner.

The fire steadily building in my core was worrying, but exciting all at the same time. We should stop.

We needed to stop.

But I was not about to make that call.

Not yet.

Arching my back, I rested my other hand on his upper arm.

"Like that, Squeak?"

"Mmhmm," I purred. Tentatively, I moved my hand from his arm to his chest. Warm muscle flexed beneath my fingers and I shot him a lopsided grin, receiving a cheeky smile in return.

His fingers skimmed the lower band of my sports bra. "Can... I go higher?"

I held his gaze. "Is that wise for either of us?"

Disappointment washed over his face, but he just nodded. "You're right." His grin quickly returned. "But I'm happy with what I got." He pulled me closer, moving me up to his thighs but I did not mind in the least. If anything, the steady yet unyielding control only turned me on more.

Yet he still continued with his slow caress, much to my surprise.

"Didn't know you were this patient," I remarked, a lazy smile on my face as I squinted happily. Guess those cat genes manifested in steamy settings too.

Wonder if they'd let me mark their backs with claws...

"For you?" Wrecker whispered, nuzzling the top of my head. "I'll be anything you want."

"Just be yourself."

His face fell as he pulled away. "But... that's a big dumb brute."

"You most certainly are not," I scolded, smoothing a hand over his shoulders and rubbing gently. "You're sweet and thoughtful, and can be astonishingly gentle when you want."

Fingers trailed over my skin as he traced above my waistband. "I just know I can get loud and can be too much to handle."

I rested my hand on his cheek, mindful of the scars. "You can get loud, but you are never too much to handle. I liked you when I met you. I like you tenfold now. You're my main man, Wreck. First crush and fave Batcher. I don't choose favorites lightly, especially among you four."

"Really?" he whispered, hand shifting to rest vertically against my stomach as he leaned into my touch.

My hand slipped around the back of his head and tugged him down so I could rest my forehead against his. "Really really."

A broad smile spread across his face. "Won't let you down, Shadow. I promise."

"I'd never doubt you for a second," I laughed softly, a genuine smile tugging the corners of my own lips. Speaking of lips, let's get back to the hot stuff. "Were you... gonna mark me?"

That grin turned devious as he turned. "You bet!" The hand at my belly pushed me off his legs and pinned me against a rock, sending fire racing to my gut. His leg shifted between mine but remained still after that. "This ok?"

Trying not to twitch as his knee brushed mine, I nodded. He hadn't hit that sensitive spot yet but...

Honestly, as riled as I was, he didn't have to.

His lips grazed my neck. "Really hope ya stay," he whispered. "Wanna get to know more of ya like this. All of ya like this." His kiss was rougher than Hunter's and, oddly enough, more possessive as well.

I'd been able to hide Hunter's more or less...

I would not be able to hide Wrecker's.

Every one of the others would see this.

Good.

A low growl rumbled in Wrecker's throat, his hand slipping to my hip as he pressed closer to me. A squeak escaped me, and he chuckled as his lips moved over my pulse point right beneath my jaw.

The hand shifted from my hip and pressed over my mouth. "Better stay quiet. Don't want Hunter hearin'."

Hand hand hand hand!

I nodded, tipping my head back and offering more of my neck. Something about the hand over the mouth...

Yep I was a goner after that.

"Awwww, Squeaky likes that," he growled seductively into my neck, hand pressing tighter. "Likes it when Wrecker takes control."

She sure does.

"Never seen you like this." Teeth nipped softly at the wet skin. "I love it."

A million scenarios ran through my head of what we could do next, of how far this could go. Scenarios that would definitely get into more hardcore smut territory.

But I resigned myself to a hand on my hip and a hand on my mouth as Wrecker worked on almost every square inch of my neck. Eyes closed, drinking in the larger clone's affection. A twitch of the leg between mine as it shifted closer to a rather sensitive area caused another squeak to slip out.

Boy you're gonna get me too riled to come back down without help!

Wrecker chuckled and leaned back. "Like it when I do that?" His tone was nothing short of seductive, yet his eyes held a question; Are you ok with this?

I quickly nodded. I was more than ok with it. I wanted him to do it again. A point I proved by shifting forward and letting his knee brush between my legs.

He sucked in a sharp breath, the hand at my mouth pressing with more force. "Shadow..."

You awakened this!

Down my hand slipped.

From his shoulders to his chest.

From his chest to his stomach.

One more level and-

"Wrecker? Are you two done at the waterfall yet? We're hungry!"

We both groaned at Hunter's voice on Wrecker's comm from his pile of armor. The demolition expert exchanged a disappointed scowl with me before getting out and stomping over to his comm. "Yeah yeah, we're comin'."

"Cock blocker," I grumbled, following him.

Wrecker laughed. "Didn't expect that kinda language from ya, Squeaky. Guess Wrecker got you riled up, huh?"

You guess?

But I still had to laugh as well. "Think that's bad? Bud, that's on the low settin'!"

"Oh yeah?" he teased, returning to cage me against a large tree with a forearm braced above my head. He cupped my chip and lifted it, running a thumb over my lips. "Squeaky got a secret she wants to share?"

I smirked before catching his thumb in my teeth. "Ain't really a secret that I'm kinkier than a corkscrew," I snickered around his finger.

"Kinky Squeaky, huh?" he chuckled, withdrawing his thumb. "I could get used to this side of ya."

"Think you and Hunter both have taken a likin' to frisky Shadow," I purred, my leg carefully shifting between his and pressing softly upwards.

Wrecker inhaled sharply, knees going weak as his eyes fluttered. "W-Where'd you learn this trick, Squeak?"

"Now, what's the fun in given' my secrets?"

Tech's voice crackled to life. "Wrecker, you forgot to turn off your comm."

We both froze.

And I oop.

Ah, fuck it.

I walked over to the pile of armor and picked up Wrecker's gauntlet. "And yet you three are the ones who chose to wait until now to say somethin'."

"We-"

"Never turn down a research opportunity, huh? Well, this was mine. And yes, the results are quite satisfying."

I could hear Crosshair snickering on the other end as Tech sputtered. Hunter asked, "Thought you said you weren't up for sex, Ice."

"I'm not. There was no sex to be had. Just a kiss and some over the clothes action. Well, do have my shirt off, but we were swimmin' so I still got my bra on if that's what you're worried about."

"Just get back here. Food is ready."

"Sir, yes, sir," I snorted, turning off the comm.

"Handled that well, Squeaky."

"Yeah well. I've accepted that I'm secretly a horny bitch despite being ace. Though thanks to y'all I'm pretty sure I'm Demi. Either way, I'm too tired anymore to be ashamed for wantin' the touch of a man. Or woman. Either way."

"He wasn't shamin' ya! He's jealous!" Wrecker laughed.

"Sarge? Jealous? No," I gasped in false shock, face deadpan before a laugh escaped me. "Now, c'mon. Let's get back to the others."

"Sure, first." His hands slipped around my waist to the small of my back and shifted down. He hesitated, hands hovering before resting on my ass and pulling me close. A smirk spread across his face. "One more kiss."

Sir, yes, sir.

I do feel obligated to say the comm wasn't on the ENTIRE time. Just after Wrecker answered it :D

Also smut scenes are... often difficult for me so there's probably the good ol case of a limb out of place.
