Monday, January eleven, Hiccup woke up to his alarm clock and shut it off.
He goes to get up when he felt weight on his chest and looks down to see his wife sleeping on his chest and remembers that she hasn't been home since after they found out she wasn't pregnant after taking a pregnancy test.
He rubs her back while whispering "time to wake up, my lovely beautiful wife. we have school today."
Astrid rubs her head on his chest and snuggles more.
Hiccup smiles and pulls her up his chest a little to plant a kiss on her lips waking her up.
She opens her eyes to see Hiccup and they begin getting dressed for school.
They head downstairs to have breakfast.
Valka walks downstairs to join them for breakfast.
She ask her "still not talking to your parents yet, Astrid?"
Astrid signs "maybe after school today I'll go talk to my mom."
After breakfast, they walk upstairs to brush their teeth.
Astrid curious ask "can I drive today?"
Hiccup smiles "sure."
Astrid gets in the driver's seat and ask "did you put power control in this?"
Hiccup pulls a lever down lowering RPM throttle for slower pickup speed.
She drives them to school and park in the parking lot.
Hiccup gets out and walks around to help Astrid down from the driver seat of the truck.
Students saw Astrid drive the truck and gaped in shock that she drove a truck that big.
They walk in the school to their lockers where their friends were waiting for them.
Heather comments "we saw your post on Berkbook, Hiccup."
Cami curious ask "so what happened to the baby?"
Astrid sighs "there wasn't a baby at all. My parents decided to scare us by telling Hiccup that I was pregnant showing him a fake positive pregnancy test result Wednesday night when I came down sick with the flu.
Saturday after returning from going to Iowa to pickup Stoick, and took a pregnancy test and the result was that I wasn't pregnant."
Ruffnut curious ask "but you could become pregnant anytime after having sex, right?"
Astrid sighs "yes, due to the condom puncture and birth control fails which is why I take birth control after having sex with my husband."
Hiccup, Astrid and Ruffnut walk into Chemistry class over to their seats.
Snotlout walks in and smirks "I heard your not pregnant, Astrid. Which can only mean that Hiccup can't impregnate you because he doesn't have what you need to get pregnant and would have to get impregnated using a sperm donor!"
Hiccup sighs "Snotlout, that is low. Even for a piece of shit like you, and just so you know, I could get Astrid pregnant! We just aren't prepared to take care of a baby right now.
When she turns up pregnant by me, it would be because both forms of protection fail or because we agree wanted to have a baby together!"
Astrid smirks "Snotlout, you should act like a gentlemen instead of a little boy throwing a fit because he lost the girl that he wanted to date by trying to be the first boy she had sex with by any means.
I was already interested in dating Hiccup when we started high school because he left me gifts for every occasion after first grade.
After fifth grade, I wanted to date him in middle school, but my parents agree that I was too young to date him and said that if he is still interested in dating me by the time we reach high school, then they would let me date him."
Snotlout scowls "I told you to stay away from my girlfriend since kindergarten, useless and you go and leave her gifts?!"
Hiccup replies "I liked her as a girl while you only liked her for sex because of how beautiful she was becoming after kindergarten."
Snotlout scowls "how did you know it was Hiccup who left you gifts since first grade?!"
Astrid replies "he said he was scared of you hurting him from trying to talk to me and he was the only one who you bullied to make him look uninterested to date. It wasn't hard to figure out he was the one leaving me gifts."
Hiccup widened his eyes "remembering something from after Valentine's day in fifth grade that he forgot about and ask "Astrid, did your dad or mom tell you that they gave me a letter after Valentine's day in fifth grade to wait until we started high school to ask you out on a date if I still left you gifts?"
Astrid shakes her head "no, but it would explain why you sent a letter to me on Fourth of July stating that you had to wait until we started high school before we could date."
Snotlout scowls "why did you agree to go on a date with me if you were in love with my useless cousin?!"
Astrid smiles "dad told me to give him a test if he was still interested in dating me. So when you ask me out for a date and he told me the only reason why you ask me out was to become the first person that I had sex with and treat me like a trophy.
I figured that if Hiccup loved me like his gifts told me, he would save me from any boy who only wanted to get me in bed with them first."
They did their work until the bell rings, ending class.
Hiccup and Astrid walk to their lockers.
Astrid curious ask "so one of my parents wrote you a letter to ask you to wait until we started high school before you could ask me out on a date?"
Hiccup nods his head "yeah. I think it was because we were too young to date under fourteen."
They put their chemistry books in their lockers and head to art class.
Mrs. Sylvester smiles "love being married to each other?"
Astrid grins "very."
They work on drawing a picture of printout of a city corner with a point on both sides of the corners.
Forty-nine minutes later, it was time to clean up.
The bell rings and students leave the room heading to their lockers to get what they need for next class.
Cami walks up to Astrid and says "I hope Hiccup is going to turn out to be a great father when you become pregnant with his child."
Astrid sighs "we both are nervous about becoming parents when that happens in the future."
Hiccup escorted Astrid to Child Development class and left to go to Mechanic shop for fourth period.
As class began, Mrs. Stella announces "class, today, you'll be assigned a lifelike baby doll to take care of for two weeks. Now girls, if you have a boyfriend, you can put their name on the birth certificate paper as the father, except for Astrid Haddock."
Astrid curious ask "what do you mean by that?"
Mrs. Stella answers "Snotlout Jorgenson ask to be wrote down as father of the baby doll on birth certificate of your baby doll. He did leave you the option of naming the baby doll after filling out the birth certificate information."
Astrid curious ask "can you print a new one for me to fill out and throw that one in the garbage?"
Mrs. Stella sighs and counts how many copies she had of birth certificates for her other classes to find she had five extra copies and hands her a copy to fill out and throws the other one in the garbage can.
Astrid curious ask "can I make a quick call to my husband?"
Mrs. Stella ask "you don't want to wait until lunch time to see him?"
Astrid sighs "unfortunately, no."
Mrs. Stella sighs "sure if you think it's important for you to call him."
Astrid pulls out her cellphone and calls Hiccup's number.
Hiccup's cellphone vibrates and he checks to see it's Astrid calling him and answers it "Astrid, what's wrong for you to call me?"
Astrid sighs "I need you to come to Child Development class to help fill out paperwork because we have a child together."

Hiccup confused about what she was talking about and gets a pass to Child Development class.
Six minutes later, he arrives at Child Development class and opens the door and ask "what's going on in here?"
Mrs. Stella replies "I'm assigning the class, baby dolls to take care of for two weeks and I'm guessing your wife wanted you to help her fill out the birth certificate for the baby doll that she will be caring for a month."
Hiccup looks at Astrid and then sighs "wasn't expecting this assignment, this early in the semester."
He walks over to Astrid's desk to fill out his side of the birth certificate and decided to write December tenth for date of birth of their child.
Afterwards, he ask "what type of baby doll would we be getting, boy or girl?"
Mrs. Stella ask "what type do you want?"
Hiccup smiles "a boy."
Astrid grins "I would like a girl."
Hiccup pulls out a quarter and says "heads for boy and tails for girl" and flips it in the air and catches it to see it land on tails and says "you win."
Astrid smiles, but stops to ask "what are we going to name her?"
Hiccup looks up girl names for Astrid to choose from.
Mrs. Stella looks at them and looks at the girl baby dolls available to find one close enough between the two: brown hair with blue eyes and turns it on before handing her to Astrid.
The baby doll begins crying and Astrid tries patting her back to calm her down.
Hiccup scrolls through lullaby songs for babies and picks one and plays it on YouTube and reaches out for Astrid to pass her to him.
He begins rocking her slowly while patting her butt softly and starts singing to her while the other baby dolls begin crying.
"Baby mine, don't you cry"
"Baby mine, dry your eyes"
"Rest your head close to my chest"
"Never to part, baby of mine"
The girl whimpered softly with the other babies as Hiccup continued singing to her:
"Little one, when you play"
"Don't you mind what they say"
"Let those eyes sparkle and shine"
"Never a tear, baby of mine"

"They'd end up loving you too"
"All those same people who scold you"
"What they'd give just for"
"Right to hold you"
Astrid just grabbed the diaper bag and watch Hiccup dance with their pretend daughter, singing her to sleep while resting a bottle to her mouth.

"All those people who scold you"

The baby doll was asleep along with all the other baby dolls.
Mrs. Stella curious ask "do you two have a baby between you two at home that the school doesn't know about?"
Astrid gasped "no we don't have a baby between us, why would you ask that question?"
Mrs. Stella sighs "I'm curious as to how Hiccup just demonstrated how to calm a baby doll down and back to sleep by singing to her like a father does."
Hiccup nervous answers "I kinda of studied a little on calming babies down and caring for them, times to feed them, change their diapers in my spare time."
Astrid curious ask "when did you research on caring for a baby?"
Hiccup looks down at their pretend daughter and says "after your parents prank us with the fake pregnancy test and I decided to research a little on caring for a live baby for when are imaginary baby would be born."
Astrid looks at the time to see class is almost over and says "I would like to name her Melody because she likes songs with soft melodies."
Hiccup nods his head "yes, that is a good name for our pretend daughter."
He hands her to Astrid and says "I'll take your Child Development book and go pickup my Mechanic shop book and meet you at our lockers" and kisses his pretend daughter bye before leaving the classroom like a father.
Everyone looks at Hiccup leave and look back at Astrid jealous.
One girl holding her baby doll says "I really would like to date him now."
Astrid smiles "and here I thought he couldn't make me fall more in love with him."
