Hello! It's me the guy-that-has-(un)funny-introductions-that-always-escalate-quickly-and-end-up-too-long and I'm back with another chapter!

But first the comments, and there are quite a few of them!:

Notasavior - I assure you that I'm even more excited to see your support for my stories! As for fluff and backstories we gonna have to wait on that a bit. Mirko has to earn his trust first, right? And then lose it, get all angsty and have a redemption arc, but that's all for the future!

taiwoeretan1 - I love reading banter in general, it's hilarious seeing two friends just roast the absolute shit out of each other

Axlexington - I don't know how, but you know now and I've started to rhyme! They are probably going to annoy the hell out of each other most of the time, so yeah

And now, the chapter!:

Mondays were a pain to the majority of people all around the world. Despite scientists thoroughly examining that cursed day, no one could explain why exactly Mondays seemed so much worse than the remaining six days of the week when they were no different from them.

Still, most people hated Mondays.

But Mirko is not like most people.

She thrived in the Monday chaos, because bad days for one person meant good days for someone else and this particular Monday was shaping up to be a really good day. For Mirko that is. For the seven shoplifters she stomped into the concrete already? Not so much.

"This is way better than all those fucking therapists!", she thought to herself as she waved to the few onlookers that watched her floor a shoplifter with one of her most basic kicks.

She handed the guy over as soon as police arrived and decided to take her leave by leaping away with a massive grin on her face.

As soon as she landed though, her demeanor changed. Her grin fell and a more thoughtful look took its place.

"Tokyo is relatively peaceful for how many people live here…", she mumbled to herself as she walked to the nearest ledge. "But with a steady increase of violent crimes and drug dealers becoming more active, I'm afraid this peace will soon be disturbed. And there's Reversal on top of it…", the mysterious drug was probably the most concerning matter, especially if what Aiden said about it being able to remove Quirks was true.

Mirko returned to active duty as soon as she regained her full strength and one of the first things she did was to meet Naomasa and tell him about the drug dealers she encountered whilst leaving out the details about Aiden. Naomasa listened to her story in silence, though Mirko suspected he was a bit skeptical.

Technically she wasn't lying, only omitting the less important parts. He was shocked when she revealed what she thought Anti-Trigger might do and it's needless to say that Naomasa almost fell out of his chair when he heard her, seemingly crazy, idea.

"But if that's what it does, then why would people buy it? Trigger can make even the weakest Quirks troublesome to deal with, but a drug that does the opposite? It doesn't make sense…", he mumbled out and Mirko could certainly see the logic in his reasoning.

However, she knew that Anti-Trigger was a Quirk-suppressant, so all that she had to do was to convince Naomasa to at least give it some thought and maybe have some scientists or other guys look into the subject. "People usually buy Trigger to use it on themselves, but what if you were to shoot someone with a bullet coated in Anti-Trigger? It would make them helpless. Doesn't it sound perfect for small-time thieves that are planning a big heist or something?"

"Yes… We've had some cases of people being injected with Trigger by some maniac with a blowdart a few years back. He would cover the tips of his darts with Trigger and then target civilians on the streets to create a distraction. Many people were hurt because of him…", Naomasa remembered and then sighed somberly. "Alright Mirko, I'll try to have some guys test your theory, but I'm afraid they've run out of samples so it might take some time. For something quite popular it's really hard to get our hands on it"

"That's fine. I'll keep an eye out for some dealers, maybe I'll get lucky?", Mirko provided and then stood up to leave.

"Just don't do anything reckless", Naomasa warned with a small smile.

"Reckless is my middle name!", the Rabbit Hero exclaimed with a grin as she stepped out of the Detective's office.

Unfortunately, the task proved to be much harder than she initially thought. A little over a week has passed already and she had yet to stumble upon even a trace that could lead her towards someone selling Anti-Trigger or Reversal. She had to admit that the name that Aiden used sounded better and just smoothly rolled off the tongue somehow.

Back to the matter at hand, it seemed that the guys she beat up that day must've been spooked enough by her appearance that they warned everyone to stay vigilant and avoid them. That was the problem with Vigilantes like Aiden or Knuckle Duster - they can't stay and watch the Villains they apprehend until police arrive, because they themselves would be arrested. That's why sometimes police find signs of a struggle when they get to the scene, but no suspects.

She was quite busy for the past couple of days and so she didn't have much time to ponder on the day she met Aiden any more, but now that her train of thought led her in this direction she started wondering - what was Aiden's Quirk?

The guys she fought were not exactly tough, maybe for that one rhino-headed dude, but they had automatic weapons, the bane of most close range fighters and immobile brawlers. This led her to believe that it may have something to do with speed or maybe reflexes? Both of these would certainly explain not only how he was able to take down those drug dealers, but also the expertise with which he sent her to the floor when she tried to attack him. Regardless of what his Quirk was, she could tell that he wasn't solely relying on it when it came to combat, because speed and reflex are good mainly for defense and there's nothing like good old strength to give your hits some power. And the blow to the leg she still vividly remembers had a lot of power behind it. Yes he used an extendable baton, but she doubted that it was the only factor in that painful equation.

Some static from her communicator brought her out of her musings and back into the real world as she quickly reached towards her ear to try and clear up the signal.

"-spect is resisting arrest. His Quirk seems to control small things made out of metal. He disarmed most officers in the scene and took their handguns. He is armed and acting skittish, there's no telling what he may do, requesting assistance!", the frantic report came through and as soon as Mirko heard the officer state his location, she leaped towards the fray, eager to release another wave of frustration with some old-school physical activity.

The next few days were relatively uneventful with the main highlight being some lizard guy on Trigger that called himself Killer Croc. Mirko quickly brought him back down to earth and proved that rabbits were far deadlier than crocodiles. Though he may not really remember that encounter very well since she kicked him head first through an apartment complex… yeah… she kinda got carried away that day.

She will probably be fined by the Association, but it won't be anything she couldn't handle. She didn't have a massive villa, rows of servants or an Agency, which meant that it was fairly easy for her to amass quite the large sum on her bank account despite her young age. The fact that she had the third fastest rise to the Top 10 also helped.

Her search for another deal involving Reversal had been going on for almost two weeks at this point and, as short tempered as she is, Mirko was getting more and more irritated with each wasted day. It got to the point where even watching TV or exercising, two of her favorite ways of relaxing, felt off.

Just like right now. She was currently trying to find a good show to watch, but for some fucking reason all channels decided to play stuff she already watched!

"This is stupid!", she groaned and turned the TV off as she fell back onto her eyes then started wandering around her apartment, trying to find something to pass the time since it was still too early to go to sleep. Her sight finally rested on her Hero Costume that she had yet to throw into the washing machine. After a few moments of thought she shrugged and got up. "Why the hell not?"

It took her only a few minutes to get changed and go out into the setting sun. She had no luck finding any dealers in the daylight and the few times she ventured out at night were even less eventful since most people were sleeping at that time. Somehow though, Mirko's gut was telling her that today was going to be different.

And, in a way, it was. It was Friday evening afterall, which meant that people who had weekends off flooded the streets of Tokyo, going to movies, attending parties and getting drunk enough to forget the hardships of living. Drunk people always seemed to cause a ruckus in their vicinity, but just the sight of an irate Mirko patrolling the streets made spineless cowards from even the most fierce instigators.

It was a good thing of course. Resolving conflicts in a peaceful way was the pinnacle of one's strength, blah blah, protect both sides, blah blah, Villains are still people and all that Jazz. Yet Mirko yearned for a fight that would let her blow off some steam.

The Fates seemed to be kind today as after nearly an hour spent on the streets of Tokyo, her eyes spotted something suspicious. Or rather someone.

They were wearing a brown trenchcoat that ended just below their knees and a gray pair of pants. She couldn't see any other features due to being behind them, so she decided to tail them for the time.

Mirko wasn't exactly an expert in stealth and espionage, choosing to focus on kicking people into the next week in the most brutal of ways, but even she could tell that something about this situation was off. Her suspicions were confirmed when she passed the same nightclub twice. It was impossible to mistake and basically confirmed what Mirko already suspected - her target was going in circles.

Before she had the chance to ponder on that fact however, her communicator started ringing with an incoming call. Only a few people ever dared to contact her, so she quickly answered the call, thinking it to be urgent.

"Who wants what?", she spoke into her earpiece whilst maintaining eye contact with the target she was following.

"It's always straight to the point with you, ain't it? Well I can kinda respect this level of professionalism", much to her surprise it was the same voice she heard on her first encounter with the Reversal dealers.

"How did you get my number, again?!", she exclaimed but did it quiet enough not to scare the person she was following.

"Once again, I didn't. I don't need your number. All I need is a line of sight and a bit of techno-magic", he explained, confusing her in the process and when she wasn't answering he continued. "Lovely evening isn't it? Perfect for a date or a simple walk, wouldn't you agree?"

"I guess it is kinda nice", he was kind of correct. Mirko passed a staggering amount of couples in this part of Tokyo, especially around movie theaters or clubs. She didn't know however where Aiden was going with this conversation. "Why do you ask?"

"It's because I think it'd be best for everyone involved if you stopped what you are currently doing and headed somewhere else. These guys just crawled out of their hole in the wall and I don't want to risk having everything ruined by you", he explained, casually annoyed. It didn't make much sense to Mirko until the person she was tailing turned towards her and she almost gasped when she caught a glimpse of Aiden's green hair. "Makes sense now?"

"You are going after someone dealing in Reversal, right?", she finally realized.

"I'm doing many things but that is on top of my priority list, yes, now leave and let me work in peace", he admitted and sped up to a hurried trek that was just slow enough not to drag any attention to him.

"Wouldn't it make more sense to have some backup?", she questioned whilst trying to match his pace in the crowd.

"If I needed backup I'd just pass an anonymous tip to a local Hero and be done with it", Aiden explained with a huff. "That's all you are good for anyways, all muscle and little to no brain. Which would be amazing if there was a zombie apocalypse all of a sudden since you'd be basically safe", that insult was so specific and blunt that Mirko stopped dead as if frozen and almost forgot to get angry at the man. Almost.

Her brows rose in shock and then plummeted back down in anger so fast that they might have suffered whiplash despite not being sapient. "What the fuck was that supposed to mean?!", she closed the distance between them in a few bounds and yanked him by the shoulder in order to stop him and have him look death right in the face.

However the situation was turned upside down in a few moments. His left arm grabbed the hand that she was holding him with and forced it behind her back, not quite overpowering but most definitely catching Mirko by surprise. They ended up face to face and whilst getting up close and personal to an enraged Rabbit Hero was usually a thoughtless decision, this was anything but reckless. To the people that surrounded them it looked like a friendly or maybe even more than friendly embrace, but none of them knew what was hidden under the coat.

Mirko's eyes widened a bit when she felt something metallic pushed against her abdomen and it didn't take a genius to figure out what the object was - the barrel of a gun.

"I know you prefer the hands on approach, but it won't cut it when it comes to dealing with me and you really don't want me to be your enemy, so how about we turn it down a notch?", he hissed out his offer. "Or you can make it harder for both of us and in turn receive another dose of Reversal, but this time you won't have my expertise on the subject to get your fluffy ass back in shape", Aiden threw nonchalantly whilst staring her down.

Mirko found herself a bit lost due to the situation she found herself in. The closeness of his apparently well-defined body, his intense gaze and the control that he had over her made her really glad that her Quirk didn't give her any animal instincts like in some kind of a smutty fanfic, because she was pretty sure they would be screaming about an alpha male right about now.

"Well, what's it gonna be Fluff?", he asked again, visibly agitated but also seemingly anxious.

"Don't you have any other insults that have nothing to do with my 'fluffy ass'?", she grumbled quietly, not wanting to give up so quickly.

"Your fluffy ass is one of your most prominent features, so I think I'll stick with it for now. Now, are you going to wander off peacefully or do I have to send you on sudden vacation?", most people would treat this like a simple threat, but Mirko knew better than that. His cold serious stare told her that he will not hesitate if she tries to resist.

She still remembers how weak she felt after he saved her - just the thought of being saved irked her - and she sure as shit wouldn't want a repeat of that. As such she sighed and slowly relaxed her body to let him know she will comply, this time.

"Shame you are not a part of the Pussycats, you'd make one hell of a kitten", he taunted as he took the gun away from her stomach and released her from his embrace. Though she should probably rethink his possible Quirks since her skin stayed warm even after he let go of her, it was really strange, but she pushed that thought aside for now.

"Me and team ups? As if!", Mirko exclaimed trying to regain her bravado after being caught off guard so easily.

"Oh, I'm more than aware that you have no idea what teamwork is, I only said that because for a moment you looked like a cat that stopped struggling when someone finally lifted him by the neck, and whilst I'm not usually one to go for cliches I won't say no to a rare gap moe moment", he explained with a tiny smirk on his face as he resumed his walk.

"This guy!", Mirko felt her brow twitch at his annoyingly smug expression. Seriously, what the fuck was his problem anyway? She caught up to him quickly and fell in step with the man. "Where are you going anyways? Another poor soul that needs to be saved?", she questioned with her brows furrowed.

"Well, I'm running low on my Reversal supplies and the dealers decided to stockpile the drug after someone crushed one of their deals, a risky move when you realize that no distribution means no money and everyone is in it for the money, but it seems that it paid off this time. They are off the radar when it comes to the police so they decided to come back. I managed to track down another small-time dealer to this part of Tokyo which is strange since he usually stays at the other end of the city. This led me to believe that he might lead me to his supplier", she was… surprised. And stupefied but mainly surprised. This was a huge amount of information that he simply shared with her in broad daylight! Or what was left of it since the Sun was about to set.

"Since this is so important then why are you talking about it so casually?!", she whisper-yelled at him.

"Because I'm intercepting all outgoing signals around me, they can't even send a dick pic without me knowing", he answered and shuddered. Was he speaking from experience? "Why are you interested in Reversal anyways? Don't you have like your own investigation on this stuff?"

"Well, we do and I've shared your theory about Reversal with Tsukauchi and he promised to have someone look into it. The problem is that whatever amount of Reversal they had has been used for different tests already so I'm trying to get some more", Mirko explained and a thoughtful look appeared on Aiden's face.

"I'm still not letting you go with me", he stated with a straight face as he looked towards her. "But if I happen to find more than I need then I know who to give it to", Aiden smirked at her and winked before diving into an alleyway. "I'll see ya 'round Fluff!", he yelled and then sprinted off into the darkness.

Wait, darkness?

Mirko took a quick look around and she immediately felt an urge to kick herself. Somehow she got so absorbed into the conversation that she hadn't noticed that the Sun had fully set already or the fact that Aiden led her away from the busy entertainment centers and into a more business part of Tokyo.

She groaned to herself and then felt her phone vibrate.

'I know I can be pretty charming when I want to but I wasn't really trying today Fluff get your smitten ass out of here before someone spots a top hero around', the message read and it was sent, of course, from an unknown number. She could practically visualize him smirking at her.

She huffed once again before leaping towards the busier parts of Tokyo, now she needed to get into a fight to let some steam out.

Fortunately for the Rabbit Hero a few burly men started a scuffle in a bar and were thrown outside by the security where they and their friends started getting pretty rowdy. She arrived, she grinned and then she kicked ass.

After stopping a purse snatcher - they operate after dark too? Was he working overtime or something? - and breaking up a couple more fights her body started demanding rest so Mirko decided to call it a day and head to her apartment. There she took another shower and then went to bed where she immediately fell asleep.

Staying up so late into the night proved to have consequences however when Mirko awoke not with the first rays of sunshine as usual but a few hours later. Her body was not used to sleeping at these hours so she was pretty groggy, but it didn't take her too much time to realize that something has changed when she was asleep.

A quick trip to the living room confirmed her suspicions. There - sitting in all of its glory on the coffee table - was a small metal case. Mirko sobered up momentarily and cautiously flipped it open. Inside she found a couple of vials filled with a blue liquid and a note.

'This stuff wasn't easy to get, just like this sheet of paper and a pen. I had to beat an old lady with a stick to get this, so you make sure that Naomasa's boys take good care of it'

It was a note from Aiden. But how the fuck did he get into her apartment?!

She took a good look around her apartment after that, but found no signs of forced entry or any sort of tinkering around the doors or windows! Maybe that was his Quirk? She should've asked him about it yesterday! Now she has to wait for another chance, dang it.

"Well, there's no point thinking on it any more, I gotta get this case to Tsukauchi as soon as possible", Mirko stated and then went to prepare herself for another day of work.

And that's it for today folks! God, this story has gathered more attention than Champion to Slay the Gods despite being ten times shorter! No, I'm not crying, just got something stuck in me eye 's all!

Anyways, I'm not complaining about any amounts of attention so do keep it coming and I'll catch you next time! Have a nice day till then!
