*In the previous chapter:
After getting all of the capsules open, they joined Hermione in the middle of the room where she had the vial of green gas held carefully in her hands.
"Ready?" Hermione asked her friends, looking at each of them in their eyes.
"As we'll ever be" the three of them said at the same time.
At their words, Hermione held the vial in front of her and dropped it.
As the gas spread all over the room, they could hear eight collective gasps for breath and a person saying "Why the bloody hell does it smell like 'Wiggenweld Potion' in here?"*

Instead of waking up next to her husband, to the sound of children crying, Lyra Black found herself waking up gasping, in a lab-like room, with the smell of 'Wiggenweld Potion' all around her spirit and guessing it'll give her some answers, she spread her aura and absorbed its memories into her mind. She saw her son being abused, her daughter being bullied and all her and her friends' children being obliviated, glamoured and manipulated.
Yes, Lyra Cassiopeia Black-Potter was atomically and absolutely angry, and the reason for her anger was Albus bloody too-many-names Dumbledore.
"BLOODY HELL! I am going to kill Albus bloody Dumbledore." Lyra shouted, angry.
"Lyra?" Jameson Charlus Potter asked, looking at her confused. Something was wrong.
At that, Lyra sent the memories she obtained from her spirit to her friends around her. Oh, how she loved being a natural legilimens. Their faces shifted from confusion to anger in seconds. Albus Dumbledore had gone too far.
They all started talking angrily over each other and no one understood what the others were saying. Until Hermione shouted "STOP!" and they all quieted down. They hadn't realized there was anyone in the room except themselves.
They all got out of the capsules and went to the four young adults, who all looked very surprised. "Uh, so missus Black, could you explain everything you spoke about now?" Hermione asked, looking at them all with a strange sense of familiarity and wrongness at the same time, like something was missing.
"Missus what?" Lyra asked, very amused while the others around her were snickering. She looked at her friends. "Um, maybe I should remove the memory charms on them first and then we can have this conversation."
"MEMORY CHARMS?" The young adults yelled, shocked. Who put memory charms on them?
"Right, before we explain anything, I need you to calm down and look directly into my eyes" Lyra said all of this calmly, without betraying any of what she was feeling at that moment. She was nervous, she didn't know how they would react to the memories she was about to show them.
Doing as Lyra asked, weirdly trusting this woman even though they had just met, Hermione looked directly in her eyes. Seeing Hermione do this, trusting her judgement, Ginny and the twins followed her lead and looked at the older women in the eyes.
Maintaining eye contact with the four Gryffindors, Lyra spoke "finem memoria passionem lepore". (End the memory modification charm). A purple glow emitted from her eyes and surrounded the four young adults. Suddenly, the glow disappeared and the four of them slumped forward. They were barely caught before they fell on their faces by the adults that were in front of them. Each of them was going through memories that were different than what they knew but oh-so familiar.
Hermione: 'She was seeing a one year old version of herself sitting in a high chair next to a brunette woman with amber eyes and a man with sandy blond hair and chocolate brown eyes, who was trying to feed her.
She was looking at a younger version of what she now knew to be Alexandra McKinnon and a younger Remus John Lupin, her old DADA professor, trying to feed a baby that resembles her. What was going on here?
"Come on, Mione. Open your mouth for daddy. Come on." Remus was saying, trying to coax-her? - To open her mouth.
"NO!" the little girl told her father, giggling afterwards at the exasperated expression on his face.
"Sweetheart, you need to eat your veggies, or else you won't be able to eat any chocolate later." Alexandra tried to coax her daughter with the prospects of chocolate, knowing the little girl was as much of a chocolate addict as her father was.
"cholate?" the girl said, interested.
"Yes, sweetheart. I'll give you a big bar of chocolate after dinner if, and only if, you eat all your veggies, alright?" Remus said, understanding where his wife's thoughts were and adding onto it.
The one year old seemed to think about it before nodding and opening her mouth wide for her father to feed her the veggies, now excited by the prospect of tasty chocolate.
"YES!" Remus shouted, when his daughter finished all her veggies, jumping in triumph
"Love, you get excited too easily." Alex said, amused while her daughter giggled at how silly her daddy was being.
"I do not." The werewolf said indignantly, but his wife just kissed him.'
Similar memories of a family of three, a sandy haired, chocolate brown eyed man, his brunette, amber eyed wife and their brunette, chocolate brown eyed baby, went through Hermione's mind at that moment.
Ginevra: with Ginny, she was seeing memories of a baby that looked just like her, a man with dark black hair and eyes just like hers with a woman that looked like an older version of herself, but with emerald green eyes. The man looked like a younger version of her potions professor, Severus Snape, and the woman looked familiar, like she'd seen her in a picture or a long lost memory. Little did Ginny know, she was right on both accounts.
'Severus Prince-Snape was contentedly sitting on the couch in the living room in his home, with his wife and the love of his life sitting next to him, with her head on his shoulder, reading a book and his beautiful baby girl on his lap, sleeping peacefully. It was a good day.
"Love, don't you have charms research to do?" He asked his wife, amused with a little smirk on his face, already knowing her answer.
"Mmhmm, I do but I can do that tomorrow. I'm comfy right here, and I want to finish this book anyway." His wife answered, indicating the book in her hand.
"Dada?" He heard his daughter's voice ask, which broke the comfortable silence that had settled in.
"Yes, princess?" he asked.
"I think she's hungry, I'll go feed her. Why don't you get started on dinner while I do that, hmm?" his wife asked -more like ordered -.
"Yes Lily, I'll start on dinner, while you feed Ginny." He said, getting up to obey her orders. You don't want to anger Lillian Caroline Prince-Snape, ever. She had a temper hotter than her flaming red hair.
"Thanks, Sev." Lilly said, getting up from the couch and taking her daughter from off of her husband's lap, kissing him before heading out of the room, shaking her hips while she was walking.
"That woman is going to be the death of me, I hope our daughter doesn't turn out like her. I'd have gray hairs before I turn thirty." Severus muttered, heading to the kitchen.
"I heard that." He heard his wife shout from the other room. Oops, guess he wasn't as quiet as he thought he was.
"Sorry darling." He shouted back at her.
"You better be." He heard her mutter.
Severus chuckled quietly as he made his way to the kitchen. Ah, today was a good day.'
At that moment, while she was watching memories of her first few months of life, Ginevra realized that she was robbed of a happy childhood with her real parents, Severus and Lillian Prince-Snape. That's why she has always felt there was something wrong with her life. The one who did this was going to pay.
Fredrick and George: The twins were going through a similar experience to the two girls. They were seeing their memories together, due to the twin connection between them.
'They were seeing their two year old selves running around a kitchen island with a red haired, brown eyed man running after them, presumably trying to catch them and a blond haired, blue eyed woman cooking near a stove oven.
Suddenly, the woman turned around and caught one of the twins, Fred, mid run, enabling the man to catch George in his moment of surprise.
"Now, calm down you two. Dinner is almost done, just sit down, it'll be on the table in minutes. And I mean calm down, Fred, George." She looked at each of them in the eye when she called their names. She knew the difference between the two of them, not even molly knew that. "And, no pranks, or else no sweets after dinner. Honestly Fabian, did you and Gideon really have to teach them pranks at such a young age. You couldn't have waited a few more years." The blond woman scolded her sons and husband, feeling like the only adult in the house.
"Of course not, Marley. They need to learn everything about pranking to continue the Prewett twin legacy. Honestly Marlene, how many times do we have to have this conversation? It's already happened, no need to complain now. And I think it gives them character anyway." Fabian explained, rolling his eyes at his wife.
"Of course, you'd think that." Marlene muttered, exasperated at her husband's behavior. Nothing new there.
"But mummy," Fred said from her arms, attracting her attention.
"We bored." George continued for his twin, like always.
"Then go wash your hands. Dinner's ready, anyway." Marlene said, putting Fred on the ground, after which her husband took his hand with George still in his arms, leading them to the bathroom, to help them wash their hands.
Yes, the atmosphere in the McKinnon-Prewett household was always a fun one.'
Fredrick and George Prewett wanted an explanation to what was going on, but first they had some memories to watch.
Yes, Fredrick and George McKinnon-Prewett, Ginevra Prince-Snape and Hermine McKinnon-Lupin were angry and whoever stole their families from them was going to pay dearly.
