In Skull Rock Castle, Dastardly had Agnarr and Iduna tied to the rocky wall.
The castle had no windows and no doors, only stone walls and stone statues of water dragons.
"Rasm frasm sorry, honey" Muttley grumbled to Iduna, but she looked away.
Tong thought it would be fun to terrorize Agnarr. He growled viciously, making the boy scream, then he roared with laughter.
Iduna rolled her eyes as if to say "jerk."
"TONG!" Dastardly and Muttley scolded.
But what the pirates didn't know was that Flynn and Rapunzel were watching and listening.
"Now, dear princess" Dastardly said sweetly to Iduna. "This is my proposition. You tell me the hiding place of Flynn Pan and I will set you free."
You dog Flynn thought to himself.
Iduna knew better than to betray Flynn and kept her lips sealed, her nose straight in the air.
"You better talk, princess!" Tong said viciously.
"Now, now, Tong" Dastardly replied politely. "We don't threaten our guests. You'd better talk, my dear. For soon the tide will be in and by then, it would be too late.
Flynn knew he had to do something and fast.
"Stay here, Rapunzel" he said quietly. "Watch the fun."
"Fun?" frowned Rapunzel.
But Flynn was already gone. He flew toward a large rock and watched Dastardly and his men with eagle eyes.
"Remember..." continued Dastardly. "There is no path through water to the happy hunting ground."
Iduna still did not speak. She turned away from Dastardly, tears running down her cheek.
This made Dastardly very angry.
"This is your last chance!" he snarled.
"Will you relax?" Tong replied. "You had it right by being sweet."
At that moment, Flynn started yelling in a spooky voice.
"Manatoa, great spirit of mighty sea water speaks" he called. "Beware, Captain Dastardly, beware!"
His words echoed the entire cave, it frightened the pirates but Iduna knew who it was.
"Flynn Pan" she whispered to herself.
Pulling out his sword, Dastardly decided to take a look around the cave. He believes there's an evil spirit hiding.
"Muttley, Tong, stay and don't let the children escape" he ordered.
Dastardly searched, sword in his hand and hook ready.
Rapunzel, who was hiding behind a pillar, couldn't help but peek.
Thus as the young girl first laid eyes at the dark figure who haunted her stories, she saw the piercing eyes and was not afraid, but entranced.
The pirate sensed someone was near and aimed his sword at…
"Nothing" groaned Dastardly. "Drat!"
Muttley and Tong waited for their captain, the tide was raising and was up to Agnarr and Iduna's chins. Suddenly a voice echoed the cave.
"Mr. Muttley!"
It sounded like Dastardly, but it was actually Flynn imitating the captain's voice. Of course, Muttley and Tong didn't know that.
"Aye, Captain?" saluted Tong and Muttley.
"MUTTLEY!" growled the fake Dastardly. "Drat and double drat, man. What do you think you're doing?!"
The dog was confused and growled at Agnarr and Iduna, referring his answer.
"Oh, you're being a guard dog, eh?" chuckled 'Dastardly', then he glared. "Release her!"
"Huh?" Muttley frowned, confused. "Rassa frassa rhat about rour plan?"
"Forget about the plan, just set her free, or I'll plunge my hook in you."
Grumbling under his breath, Muttley reluctantly untied Agnarr and Iduna.
"Rasm frasm, rhat Rastardly. Rasm frasm don't know rhat he wants. Chain em up, let em ro."
This made Tong frown. Dastardly never lets his prisoners go he thought to himself.
Flynn winked at Rapunzel, who laughed.
As soon as they were freed, Agnarr and Iduna ran off into a hole of the cave to hide.
Elsewhere in the cave, Dastardly was searching for the 'spirit' he heard.
"Spirit that haunts Skull Rock, do you hear me?" he called out.
"I hear ya!" Flynn responded.
"Who are you, stranger?"
"I am Dick Dastardly, captain of the Jolly Roger!"
"If you are Dastardly, then who am I?"
"You are a codfish."
Tong and Muttley heard this and were shocked. Were they captained by a codfish the whole time?
But Dastardly knew who it was and decided to play dumb.
"Tell me, Dastardly, have you another name?"
"Aye."
Realizing this, the pirate captain immediately started climbing the rocky edge where Flynn was.
Rapunzel and Agnarr were nervous. If Dastardly found him, Flynn would get hurt.
The conversation with the 'spirit' continued.
"Vegetable?" guessed Dastardly.
Flynn shook his head. "No."
"Mineral?"
"No."
"Animal?"
"Yes."
"Man?"
"No!"
"Boy?"
"Yes."
"Ordinary boy?"
"NO!"
"Wonderful boy?"
"Yes! Do you give up?"
"Yes!" cried Tong.
Dastardly shrugged and then peered over Flynn, smiling wickedly.
"I am..." Flynn said happily.
"History" Dastardly said to himself.
This made Rapunzel jump.
"Flynn, look out!" she shrieked.
Flynn dodged Dastardly's hook and flew above him.
"You scurvy brat!" snarled the pirate.
"Hi, Captain" Flynn greeted.
"Come down, boy, if you like cold steel for dinner!"
The pirates emerged from the dark and attacked the children.
"You took my hand, Pan" growled Dastardly. "You will not get the other."
Dastardly swung his sword to slice Flynn, but the boy ducked and dodged each swing. Soon, there was a sword fight.
Agnarr watched in terror as Flynn and Dastardly fought, covering Rapunzel's eyes. Soon, the siblings were grabbed by Namaari.
She was about to cut Rapunzel when Agnarr knocked the blades out of Namaari's hands.
"Looks like someone's been working out" the knife wielder pirate smirked.
Namaari was about to attack again when-—
CLANG!
The pirate was knocked out cold and fell to the ground, Rapunzel stood in place with a frying pan from the hideout.
"Well done, Raps!" Agnarr cheered.
Tong was trying to get Iduna but she was too fast for him. The Northuldra girl then circled him around and around and around until he got dizzy and fainted.
The sword fight between Flynn and Dastardly continued. It wasn't until the captain knocked Flynn to the ground.
The pirates and the children looked up and gasped in shock.
"I've got you this time, Pan" he said, raising his hook.
Flynn didn't move and finally said to Dastardly "To die will be awfully big adventure."
But then, the rock edge on which they were standing on broke!
As it did, Flynn floated into the air and Dastardly fell down, only to land in the palm of a statue dragon claw.
"Well, well, a codfish on a hook!" laughed Flynn.
Dastardly glared at the boy, trying to hold back tears.
"I swear I'll get for this, Pan, if it's the last thing I do!" he cried, his eyes filled with pain and tears.
Before Flynn could respond, he heard ticking.
"I say, Captain" he gasped. "You better stay away from the edge."
"What are you-" Dastardly began to ask, but his eyes started to squint up and down.
He looked down and gasped fearfully.
It was Sisu!
"Hi, I'm Sisu" smiled the water dragon.
"Shoot it!" Dastardly screamed.
The other pirates jumped into the water, scared.
Muttley, however, had enough. He pulled out his pistol and aimed it at Sisu.
"No, don't!" panicked Rapunzel, upon seeing the weapon.
"Let the beast have it!" ordered Dastardly. "Oh, come on, you idiot! Shoot it!"
But the minute Sisu stood over the cliff, Dastardly realized what was happening.
"Muttley, no! Hold your fire!" he pleaded.
But it was too late, Muttley fired the pistol.
It missed Sisu and hit the stone dragon claw. Dastardly fell, screaming!
The water dragon tried to catch him, but only got Dastardly's coat, accidentally ripping it and the pirate into the water, along with the dragon claw.
The entire castle shook and rocks slid down the slope and blocked the entry, just as Muttley and all the other pirates swam away to avoid Sisu.
Underwater, Dastardly undid his coat and swam for the surface. Sisu approached cautiously.
Dastardly screamed and tried to swim away. Sisu tried to catch him in her mouth, but accidentally bit his foot and ripped his boot off!
"OW!" cried Dastardly, holding his now hurt foot.
A rock hit Dastardly on the head, sending him back into the water.
The dog whined.
"He's gone, Muttley" Namaari snapped before beginning to sob. "We can't save Dastardly."
Muttley knew Namaari was Dastardly's close friend and a loyal member of the crew. But there was no denying it, Namaari really believes her beloved captain was gone.
Tong helped her climb into the rowboat, rowing away from Skull Rock Castle as it began to flood from the inside.
Flynn laughed at the pirates and walked away.
"Uh, Flynn, aren't we forgetting something?" asked Rapunzel. "We're trapped!"
"And the tide is now raising fast!" Agnarr added.
This made Flynn snap out of his playful nature and searched for a way out.
Sisu tried to stop the water from filling the castle, but she couldn't control it. The water was raising faster than ever.
Iduna and Agnarr tried digging their way out, but the boy cried out as he got a bloody cut on his hand.
Flynn swam to the group.
"It's no use" he said sadly. "There's no way out. It's pitch black down there."
Rapunzel began to cry.
"This is all my fault" she sobbed. "I'm so... I'm so sorry, Flynn."
Agnarr hugged his little sister tightly.
Flynn sighed, then said "Eugene."
"What?" frowned the other children.
"My real name was, Eugene" Flynn admitted. "So you might as well know."
Sisu stared at the tide, her fur began to flow. She got an idea.
"Hey, Blondie" she called to Rapunzel. "I can help you guys escape."
"How?" Rapunzel frowned.
"Look, hold my claw. I place the other on the top of your head and I can make your hair get the glow."
Rapunzel did she was told and Sisu placed her claw on her head.
"Okay, the song."
The water was up to their chins.
"Flower gleam and glow
Let your power shine…"
The children held their breaths as the water rose.
It was dark, expect for Sisu's glowing fur and then, Rapunzel's hair began to glow, surprising her brother.
Flynn saw a hole at the bottom and began to dig with Agnarr and Iduna's help and Rapunzel's hair glowing around the hole.
Sisu swam toward the broken statue claw and lifted it to find Captain Dastardly unconscious. She scooped him up in her arms and swam after the kids.
Soon, the rocks slide and water burst from inside the castle. They were free!
The kids arrived at the island, tired and restless.
"Thanks, Sisu" smiled Iduna.
"Aw, anytime" Sisu blushed. "You guys need help, I got ya backs."
The water dragon began to swim away, carrying Captain Dastardly on her back.
Agnarr and Rapunzel embraced tightly.
"Agnarr!" called a voice. "Agnarr, you're alive!"
Shaggy came running and hugged his older brother and little sister. The family was back together.
