The sun rose in Never Land, the Lost Boys, Agnarr and Shaggy returned to Hangman's Tree from a hunting lesson from the Northdulra.
Once inside, they cheered loudly and practiced fighting.
Rapunzel was already there, sitting on the bed. She has been upset since the other night.
At that moment, Flynn entered the room.
"Hey, guys!" he greeted.
"Hello!" the Lost Boys greeted back.
"How was the trip with the Northdulra?"
"It was great!" said Agnarr. "Especially Iduna."
"Like it was awesome!" agreed Shaggy.
Upon hearing her brothers, Rapunzel approached Agnarr.
"Agnarr, who's your father?" she asked him.
"My father's name?" frowned Agnarr. "Flynn."
Rapunzel was getting worried, then turned to Shaggy.
"Who's your mother, Shaggy?" she asked nervously.
"Like you are, Raps" Shaggy replied.
The Lost Boys nodded in agreement.
Rapunzel gasped, it was worse than she thought. Agnarr and Shaggy already forgot their parents.
"Don't worry, boys, we're going home in the morning" she assured them.
"Home?!" gasped Agnarr.
"Oh, Rapunzel, you don't wanna go home!" protested Shaggy.
At this point, Flynn tried to break the tension in the air.
"Guys, please don't fight" he said. "We can get over this once you guys settle in."
"Now, Eugene, we can't pretend anymore" Rapunzel replied. "We need to be practical."
But Flynn wouldn't have it, he walked away.
Rapunzel was disappointed. She hoped Flynn would understand the situation, but he was being stubborn. With a heavy sigh, she started to pack her bag.
"Rapunzel, what are you doing?" asked Angry.
"I'm going home at once" announced Rapunzel.
This made the Lost Boys gasp and whisper quietly.
"I have to" continued Rapunzel. "I miss Mother and Father. And Scooby."
The Lost Boys suddenly remembered about how they forgotten about their parents, chattering sadly.
"We must leave at once" Angry finally said. "But Flynn won't be very happy."
Hearing this from his room, Flynn was hurt by the betrayal and flew off.
Meanwhile on the ship, Twilight was using a sword to free herself but it broke.
"Oh!" seethed Twilight. "There's gotta be another way out."
Then, she remembered that Muttley left a butcher knife on the case where Dastardly had his spare hooks in case of emergencies.
"Okay" the alicorn said to herself. "I can do it."
Using her tail since the rope was magic resistant, Twilight snatched the knife off the case and cut herself loose.
The alicorn cheered and then flew off to warn Flynn about Dastardly.
"If you wish, you can come with me" Rapunzel smiled to the Lost Boys. "That is... if Eugene doesn't mind."
Flynn finally returned with a crossed look...
"If you wish it. But I'm warning you. Once you're all grown up, you can never come back. Never. I already have arranged Iduna and Twilight's friend, Sprout Cloverleaf to guide you home."
The excited Lost Boys scrambled up the stairs to the exit with Agnarr and Shaggy.
But Rapunzel remained and slowly approached Flynn.
"Eugene..." she began to say.
"I'm sorry, Rapunzel" Flynn replied. "But you can't make me a man. I wanna always be a boy and have fun. And the name is Flynn. Not Eugene, Flynn."
"You just say that because that's your biggest pretend."
Flynn was shocked when he heard it and walked away sadly.
Rapunzel felt bad inside, regretting what she said but she wanted to get home as soon as possible.
Iduna met up with the boys, greeting Agnarr with a kiss.
Not far from Hangmen's Tree, Sprout Cloverleaf had been petrified. It happened when he was about to approach the tree when the Druun appeared, turning him to stone.
Dastardly chuckled evilly and knocked the statue over, making Muttley whimper at the frozen pony.
The two Druun creatures were about to consume the passing pirates when Namarri threw water at them, scaring the monsters away.
Rapunzel stared as Flynn played his pipes, not looking at her.
"Goodbye… Flynn Pan" she whispered.
She soon walked up the stairs and just as she emerged from the hideout...
"Surprise!"
The pirates surrounded Rapunzel. She gasped as she found her brothers and the Lost Boys seized by the pirates.
Scared, the young girl was about to scream for Flynn, but Tong cupped her mouth to shut her up.
"Take them away" ordered Captain Dastardly.
As she was being taken away, Rapunzel glared at Dastardly.
Dastardly and Muttley then slowly approached a small doorway in the hideout.
"Now to take care of Master Flynn Pan" Dastardly sneered.
Slowly and carefully, Dastardly lowered a bottle into the hideout. It's poison!
Less should he be taken alive, Dastardly always carried upon his person a dreadful poison, distilled when he was weeping from the red of his eye. A hint of malice, jealously and disappointment. It was said to be very fatal and has no antidote.
"That will take care of him" laughed Dastardly.
Once they heard the potion land on the ground gently, Dastardly and Muttley left to join their crew to torture the captured children.
But Twilight watched as the two pirates left, her eyes filled with fear.
"Poison?" she asked herself. "Why use poison?"
She flew into the hideout, just as Flynn was checking the 'bottle.'
"To Flynn, with love from Rapunzel" he read. "Do not drink this until six o'clock."
Flynn, no! Twilight thought to herself.
"Huh, I wonder what will happen once I drink this?" Flynn asked himself.
At that moment, Twilight rang out a warning cry.
"Hi, Twili" smiled Flynn. "Look what Rapunzel left me - -"
But, the alicorn tried to take the bottle from Flynn, only to be pushed aside.
"Stop it!" the boy shouted. "What's the matter?"
"It's not me!" Teilight cried, ringing wildly. "It's Dastardly! He's trying to poison you!"
"Dastardly? A poison? Don't be ridiculous."
Twilight saw the poison's red color and remembered the red in the pirate's eye.
Then, she drank the bottle as Flynn's hand reached for it.
"Twilight!" cried Flynn. "How could you?"
Before Twilight could answer, she flew slowly around the room and then fell onto Flynn's bed.
"Twilight? Twilight Sparkle!"
Flynn held the alicorn's head in his arms as she glowed dimly.
Twilight rang quietly that Rapunzel and the boys were kidnapped by the pirates.
Even though he was scared, Flynn had to save Twilight first.
"Hold on, Twili" he pleaded. "Please don't go out. C'mon, Twili. You mean more to me than anything in the whole wide world!"
But Twilight's light soon faded and her eyes closed.
As the pirates reached the ship with the children, Dastardly suddenly winced in pain, his hand clutching his heart.
"Cap'n?" whimpered Muttley.
"I'm fine" Dastardly lied. "It's just a pulled muscle."
The crew watched as their captain stumbled his way into the cabin.
"Wait for my command with the children" he warned them.
As soon as Dastardly closed the door, the pirates tied the children to the mast.
Sisu emerged from the ocean and watched as Iduna struggled to fight back, but was unsuccessful.
Muttley leaned over the edge and growled.
"Rasm frasm what have you done?" he barked.
All the water dragon could do was shake her head sadly.
The first mate/canine ran for the cabin, worried.
When he got inside, Dastardly was pale but he didn't seem sick or dying. He was unconscious on the floor, his chest heaving.
Muttley checked his captain for any symptoms, but found a pink star (like Twilight's cutie mark) on his shoulder which was beginning to fade away.
"Oh no" groaned Muttley.
Flynn's eyes filled with tears and he could do nothing but hold the fairy in his arms. And then, he whispered something in Twilight's ear.
"I do believe in fairies."
And his words brought Twilight Bell back to health.
Crowing happily, Flynn leaped for his dagger and raced out of the hideout to rescue Rapunzel and the boys from Dastardly.
"It's Dastardly or me this time" he said with a grin.
