Promontory Summit
Greif of the West
Over across the sky, stars littered across it. Each displaying a unique world. One of these stars was brighter than most. It was surrounded by many smaller stars but this one out shined all of them. It was the advanced world of Britannia. The planet, was 3 times the average size of a normal world. With a larger home and more land to settle in, the people grew in population. Due the successful innovations of a few. This world experienced a technological revolution placing it years before others. With this technology, the people of the world developed ships that could traverse to the outside world. These ships carried powerful weapons and trained soldiers armed to use them. They came across other worlds to colonize them. Landing in uninhabited areas. They set up shop before introducing themselves to the natives. Over time they gain approval from the locals by introducing them to their advance technology. When that happens, more colonists begin to come before the locals could even notice.
The colonists of Britannia will then claim the world taking control. Asserting themselves as the absolute authority governing the world. Usually without the local's approval. The native leaders would normally lash out against this leading to conflict. But no matter how much the locals tried they were not strong enough to fend off the invading forces. With the overly equipped forces came three individuals that will lead the people of Britannia to victory. They were each a representative of the three Divisions of Britannia.
The Divisions of Science, History and Tactics.
These Elites were top class Heroes. With the Elites backed with the force of the Britannian Army. Native kingdoms quickly fell within weeks. The government of Britannia would quickly establish itself in the area. The people of the Britannia repeatedly used this tactic to easily take over worlds. From the start of the era of colonization till the present over 20 worlds have been captured under the flag of Britannia.
All hopes for resistance was futile. Though every now and again a resurgence would occur. But only a few had the capabilities of actually being considered a threat. But when news of the rebellions reaches home world. The Prince calls for the Elites to return to the world in order to get everything under control. After a few weeks, the resistance would be easily squandered and defeated. On the 6th colonized world of Promontory Summit a world resembling the Old West. Several insurgents has been staging one of these cues. In response, The Prince called the Elite leader of the Tactics division to fix the problem. A ruthless warrior known for cutting down all who oppose him. The leader of the entire Army of Britannia. An intelligent and cunning leader with a 100% success rate in battle. The Prince's 2nd favorite Elite.
Three days after coming to this world. The general successfully crippled the resistance who was causing the colonists stationed there a lot of trouble. He cornered the final insurgents into a destroyed Britannian Voyager. He called for his troops to surround the ship. Standing on the front lines with his soldiers by his side. He raised his hand in the air calling to seize their assault. The loyal soldiers followed his orders without question. The soldiers of Britannia were all dressed in light brown uniforms and black boots. They all wore plain brown hats on their head. The standard soldier carried a common rifle. Higher ranked soldiers wore a black uniforms with the seal of their division on the back of their coats. These soldiers had more of a variety of weapons with some carrying swords, shields, machine guns, and flamethrowers. Over 500 soldiers, came with the general to spite the resistance of the world. They all surrounded the fallen voyager waiting for their leader to give them the command. They kept their guns pointed at the ship waiting to see something move.
The voyager had crashed in the desert valley of this world after the resistance snuck explosives on it. Sparking this civil unrest. A place were hawks and vultures hunt snakes and rodents. Small patches of grass and cacti make up the only plant life here.
Calling to halt the advance of the troops gave the insurgents in hiding time to converse with each other. The rebellion consisted of natives of this world whose ancestors have called this place home for generations. These rebels consisted of cowboys and Indians both hoping to work together to fight off the colonists.
They huddled together speaking quietly amongst themselves. Nearly 6 of the top heroes of the world stood together while their followers hid waiting for their enemies next move. One was a young cowgirl who was standing up still listening to the footsteps and gunfire as their enemy grew silent. She wore two pistol holders and a pink cowgirl hat. Her name was Anne Marie, "The Gun Lock Girl."
Next to her was her older sister. "Black Eyed Jess." She wore an all-black outfit with a black cowgirl hat. Her clothes were more masculine resembling her tomboyish personality. She carried only one pistol on her left hip and a spiked whip on her right.
Sitting on an old hunk of rubble was an old Native American warrior dressed in an old buck skin with a bustle on his head. He had red stripes from face paint stretching across his face down his neck. Sitting Indian style, he carried a bow in one hand and a whole pack of arrows around his back.
Looking discreetly through a small hole in the wall, a young John Hancock looked out seeing the Britannian forces cease their assault. He was a very tall black man standing 7 feet tall exactly. He wore a white shirt and overalls that were knitted specially so they wouldn't rip when he flexed his muscles. In each of his giant hands was a massive hammer which he used to build many of the railroads across this world. But when his land was taken from him, he took up his mighty tools to defend his country.
In the middle of the group stood their leader The Lone Ranger and his partner/best friend Tonto. The Lone Ranger he wore an all-black suit with a white shirt under his coat. On his head was a plain white hat covering his short black hair. He wore a small black mask hiding his identity. Only Tonto knows who he really is. Clipped on his coat was a sheriff badge signifying his duty to hold up the law around these parts. His partner Tonto who had white makeup on his face with black streaks running down his eyes. He wore no shirt but carried with him a pair of hatchets around his pants.
"Why did they stop?" asked Anna Marie.
"Perhaps they are waiting for us to make our next move drawing us out," said the older Indian warrior sitting down with a bow on his lap. John watched the halted army peaking his head out just enough so they wouldn't see him. The group remained silent until till footsteps could be heard in a distance.
"Did you here that?" said Jess grabbing her black pistol. The footsteps were heard in the distance giving off a metal clanging sound with every step. After a few moments, the sound of gun shots echoed through the crash site followed by the slicing of swords and capping it off with a loud screech. John Hancock began to sweat immensely. The others drew their pistols. The old Indian grabbed an arrow pulling it on the bow.
In the small room they were held up in. There was only one entrance a big hole in the wreckage. The insurgents hid in the shadows pointing their guns at the entrance. The old Indian pointed his arrow with the others while Hancock grasped both his hammers hiding in the shadows near the entrance. He rested one hammer on his shoulder with the other by his waist. Tonto followed Hancock's lead and hid in the shadows even better than his comrade. Holding both his hatchets one over his head and another near the ground. He bent down hiding his entire body.
The sound of footsteps began again. It got louder and louder with each step. The individual closed in on the group closer and closer. Anna Maria shook with every foot step. Hancock's shirt began to get wet by the sweat dripping down his body. The Indian remained emotionless only focused on the task at hand. Jess hid behind a sheet of metal pointing her pistol listening, waiting for the right moment to make her move. Tonto remained out of site while The Lone Ranger waited patiently for the enemy to reveal themselves.
As the enemy made its way to the entrance of the dome. A great shadow cast across the ground grabbing the attention of the insurgents. Anna Marie pulled back her trigger causing a small click sound. The enemy then immediately stopped. It then turned and backed causing his shadow to leave the insurgents eye site. It slowly walked away till the sound of its footsteps can no longer be heard.
Anna Marie gave a sigh of relief. She was shaking so much she couldn't even keep her pistol straight. Tonto remained hidden while the Lone Ranger and Jess lowered their gun. Tonto remained out of sight. But the older Indian did not lower his bow and arrow.
Hancock wiped some sweat off his head before quietly walking back towards the entrance. He came towards the edge of the hole peering out to see if anyone was still there. He looked to his left then to his right. No one was there. His heart pounded as he drew closer to the hole. This caused the Lone Ranger's hair to stand up. Hancock stepped out into the open turning around speaking quietly saying, "Guys, it's gone."
"HANCOCK NO!" shouted the Lone Ranger.
Like a meteor crashing into the earth. A metal contraption like figure fell from the top of the wreckage crushing Hancock under its pointy clawed toes. The old Indian shouted shooting his arrow at the contraption. It reached under its cape grabbing a sword swinging it at the incoming projectile. The sharp blade sliced the arrow in half. The contraption maneuvered the sword around his body while the Lone Ranger fired his bullets at him. But the contraption's sword deflected every shot fired at him. It threw its sword like a spear straight at the old Indian slicing straight through the bow piercing his body. The old archer limped over losing consciousness. The contraption leaped high in the air as the Lone Ranger and Jess tried to fire at it. It crashed on the ground like lighting in front of Anna Marie. The young cowgirl became overcome with fear dropping her guns falling to the ground. Her body shaking, her mouth gaped open. Her eyes unable to blink.
The contraption rose into the air spreading its arms out unveiling its body shouldered under the cape. The enemy had a completely cybernetic body painted all white. Its legs were built like a frogs or an insects limbs would be. Each foot contained three sharp claws that pierced the rock-hard dirt. Its arms were more human like. Its hands had sharp fingers each with a sword in hand. The cape around its back was red on the front and teal on the back. The contraptions thighs were stretched out from its thin waist. Its chest was like a white crest tightly protecting something. It had bright yellow eyes that lay behind a cybernetic mask. The contraption stared at Anna Marie causing her to nearly faint.
Black Eyed Jess let her black whip out. She thrusted her whip wrapping it around the contraptions arm. She pulled its arm away shifting the contraptions focus to her.
"Jess no, stay away from him. That's the head of the Tactic Division. General Grievous!" shouted the Lone Ranger. Grievous used his free arm to cut the whip. He spread his arms out again charging at Jess. With one swoop, he swung his sword across her face. Black Eyed Jess faulted back covering her left eye.
"Jesse!" shouted Anna Marie. Jess moved her hand to see blood on her black glove. Blood streamed down her face starting at her eye. General Grievous had scared the cowgirl's left eye. Grievous swung his arm hitting Jess in the head with the other side of his sword. Jess fell over covering up her wounded eye trying to hold back from screaming.
The Lone Ranger brought out both his revolvers shooting all his rounds at Grievous. General Grievous maneuvered his two swords deflecting every bullet. Grievous was able to bounce back one of the bullets fired at him striking the cowboy in the shoulder. The Lone Ranger stepped back grasping his wounded shoulder. When he looked back towards his enemy Grievous was no more than 3 feet away from. With just one hand Grievous thrusted his sword straight through the Rangers stomach. The cowboy moaned before falling over dead. Grievous removed the sword from the Rangers body. Waving the sword so fast the blood-stained steel was cleaned of the cowboy's blood.
"Yeaargh!" shouted Anna Marie. Pointing her pistol at the contraption. She fired all the rounds she had screaming the whole time. The bullets ricocheted off the Grievous body. "Your bullet proof?" whimpered the little girl.
The general spoke in a rash and sickly voice. "I like to practice my deflection technique whenever I get the chance. Even when the enemies' weapons are obsolete."
Grievous pointed his sword at the young cowgirl, "Are you scared?"
Anna's whole body shook all over. The sound of another pistol echoed through the dome. The bullet bounced off Grievous's head nearly going straight through the eye socket. "Stay away from her!" shouted Black Eyed Jess breathing heavily with blood dripping down her left eye socket.
Grievous did not say another word. He turned toward Jess staring at her with his soulless yellow eyes. From behind the Indian warrior Tonto leaped out of the shadows. With both his axes raised over his head. Tonto struck Grievous's head denting the cybernetic cover. Grievous lashed out swinging his sword around to slice Tonto's stomach. But the fast-Indian backed away from Grievous. He charged at the enemy again with his hatches striking blows with Grievous's swords.
"Tonto!" shouted Jess to her comrade.
"Take Anna and go," he said while jumping into the air dodging Grievous's attacks. Anna Marie ran to her sister grabbing her arm. Jess covered her blood-stained eye while running away.
The two red heads ran through the hole to see the body of John Hancock. In his hands were the same hammers he used to build the railroads with. Anna's sense of fear and danger kept her from crying. The two sisters ran out into the waste land. They looked to their left to see Britannian soldiers waiting for them. The sisters ran in the other direction before they were spotted. But after running down the path they saw more soldiers surveying the area.
One of the female soldiers looked over to see the sisters standing right in front of them. "Look over their insurgents!" she shouted. The other soldiers took noticed aiming their guns at the two sisters.
"The General said take no prisoners." They aimed their guns at them preparing to fire at the girls. Jessa and Anna could not think of a way out of this. The interaction was so fast they didn't have time to run.
Before the soldiers could pull their triggers almost 100 arrows appeared across the horizon. Falling on the soldiers like rain drops. The soldiers scattered trying to avoid the arrows giving the girls a slim chance to escape. They held each other's hands as they dashed past the enemies' body's making their escape. They looked out across the desert to see nearly 100 Indians waiting for them mounted on horseback. In the center, was the chief of Tonto's tribe, "Bear Claw." Next to him was his daughter, "Wolfspirt." A prodigy cleric from their village.
The sisters ran towards their saviors. Anna Marie began to cry when explaining to the chief what had happened. Wolfspirt got off her horse to tend to Jess's injuries. "I see then we must depart. May our friends join their ancestors in a better life," spoke Bear Claw with a heavy heart.
Wolfspirt gave Jess a special healing cloth for her eye. They brought out a horse for the sisters to mount. The rest of the Indian warriors fled before the forces of Britannia could catch them. The soldiers tried to pursue the insurgents but the horses the natives rode were the fastest creatures in the world.
General Grievous stepped out from the crash site with Tonto's hatchet in hand. His cape was torn and his cybernetic body was bruised. He watched the insurgents flee speaking, "Run now why you can because if I don't eliminate you today. I'll end you tomorrow."
Gummi Ship
Drifting through space, the rocket Sora and his friends traveled on escaped the asteroid field surrounding the jungle. But the ship did not escape unscathed. The rocket was covered in dents and scratches from the asteroids. In the control room, Donald put the ship in standby. He got off the pilot's seat exiting the control room. He jumped down the entrance seat before running off to the others in the living room.
Goofy was wrapping Sora's wound up while Jiminy watched holding his top hat. "How is he?" asked Donald concerned. Oh, he should be fine. But he should really see a doctor. I bandaged him up, but he seems a bit unstable."
"Unstable?" asked Donald.
Goofy nodded, "Ever since we took off, he's been pretty disturbed." Sora was unconscious laying shirtless on the couch with a pillow under his head. He breathed heavily and his face gave the impression he was having a nightmare.
"Is the ship running okay?" asked Goofy. Donald folded his arms answering, The engines still going but one of the nozzles was damaged. We're moving at 2/3 the speed we should be going."
Jiminy hopped up and down saying, "But if that's true then how will we get to the next world in 3 days. If we don't the ship will run out of energy. And even if we make are way to the next world then what. We are barley in the condition for exploring. And the next world may be more dangerous than before."
The others tried to think of something else to say till the ship jolted abruptly. Sora was thrown off the couch and Goofy fell to the ground. Donald and Jiminy managed to stay standing holding on to the table near the couch. "What now?" cried Donald.
He ran back up to the control room while Goofy and Jiminy tried to help Sora again. Donald climbed the ladder entering the control room. He looked through the dome realizing they had crash landed on another world.
"What! But how?" said Donald checking the ships systems for anything suspicious. He looked to see a familiar town appear in front of him. The gummi ship had landed back on Traverse Town.
