For their first date, Leo didn't know what to give Calypso (AKA Sunshine.). He consulted Percy, Frank, Jason, but whatever they said sounded wrong. So he decided to get her the best thing on the planet a Kit-Kat. It was the right choice. Calypso was so happy, she didn't even mind his calling her sunshine.
Now, whenever Calypso gets angry, he runs to the corner shop and gets her a Kit-Kat. Then, he can call her sunshine again.
