Date: 4/23 – Saturday

Location: Shujin Academy, Aoyama-Itchome

As I made my way to Shujin Library (after getting a couple of drinks with the hope that they could give me some energy back,) I couldn't believe that I forgot about meeting Weiss. 'I hope that she isn't mad at me for arriving late.' Stopping just sort of the Library, I made sure that I looked somewhat presentable before heading inside.

Opening the door and stepping inside, I was greeted by silences as everyone looked at me before they fell into whispers.

"What she doing here?"

"She can't be that serious about studying?"

"I've heard that the Student President has been tutoring her."

"What, Really? What makes her so special."

"She could be blackmailing the Council President to help her."

Closing the door, I looked to my right and notice the Librarian (who was a student) looking at me with fear before I looked over to my left and spotting Weiss at one the round tables with a whole host of worksheets speeded out and a rather old looking Buchimaru-kun pencil case.

'How cute.' As I made my way over to her, I could feel everyone watching me. "I'm sorry I'm late Senpai, I didn't realize the time." Taking my school blazer off and draping it on the back of the seat next to her, I sit down and take what need out of my backpack and set up.

"It's fine Rose-chan, I understand the need to look after your pet…" A red tint graces her face. "how-how is he?"

Picking my backpack up and placing it on my lap, I pick the sleeping corgi up and raise him enough to show Weiss. "He's out for the count."

Her face softens before she regains her composure and turns to look me in the eyes, probably noticing the lack of energy. "You look worn out; we can reschedule if you want."

"No, I promised that we would do this today." I said taking one of the bottles out and setting it in the table.

"Alright then, shall we get started?"

Nodding in agreement, I made sure Zwei was safe inside before turning to face the table.

It was surprising with how much Weiss knew at her age, she put me through the wringer on several times with percentages and fractions. It really didn't help that I didn't have the motivation to focus on everything that Weiss said.

Date: 4/23 – Saturday

Location: Shujin Academy Library

It was clear to me that Ruby was having a hard time concentrating on some simple percentages and fractions questions due to the fact that I had to nudge her awake several times and honestly, it was starting to annoy the hell out of me, even after she had drunk the two energy drinks that she had brought with her.

'I'm no pet expert, but how can an adorable little Corgi tire out someone who looks very much in shape.'

Nudging her awake again, I purposed the idea of switching subjects to Japanese with the hope that she might find it easier to concentrate, but sadly, my effort was in vain when she fell asleep again with her head in her left hand, her glasses had ridden up her face slightly and her pencil was dangerously close to her cute nose.

'You look adorable when you sleep Ruby, it really is a shame to have to wake you up.'

Placing my hand on her shoulder, I nudge her gently, noticing the beings of strong muscles. "Ruby, wake up."

Opening her right eye, she looks at me with a smirk. "I wasn't asleep, I was resting my eyes." She said before placing her pencil down on the table, correcting her glasses and I couldn't help but rake my eyes over her as she stretched just enough to make her bust stand out. "You having fun checking me out?"

"Wh-what? I-I wasn't doing that sort of thing if you don't mind. I was curious about that scar across your eye, your glasses seem to hide it well." I said, cursing myself for stuttering and for being caught.

"Even if you were, I don't mind you doing it, hell I 've done it to you enough times…" She said taking her glasses off and cleaning the lens' with the edge of her shirt (Which I tell her off for to this day) as I place my own pencil down and tuck a strand of hair that fell lose behind my ear. "and how I got my scar is not as glamorous as everyone thinks."

"So, you're not part of the White Fang and you didn't get it during a blood feud?" I said folding my hands in my lap as I heard the whispers from the students that had stayed behind after school and after a glance in their direction silenced them for the time being.

She lets out a chuckle as she places her glasses back on. "Sadly, no. I'm not part of the White Fang… Tai would probably kill me if I was, but yeah, I got it due to being too friendly with some guy's girlfriend during work, so he and a couple of his friends decided to try and attack afterwards, I was lucky enough to dodge his first attack…"

She went silent for a couple of minutes and had a far-off look in her eyes and I feared that I was making her relive a traumatic experience, I placed my hand on her shoulder again and squeezed. "You don't have to continue if it's hard, Ruby."

She placed a hand on top of mine and squeezed back. "Thank you, but… it is hard to talk about it, but my doctor said that the more I talk about it the more I can heal from it." She lifts our hands up and off her shoulder and rub the back of mine with her thumb before letting go. I missed the warmth and feel of her hand immediately. "As you can see, I wasn't lucky enough on his second swing."

"I'm sorry to hear that, Ruby, I hope he got what was coming to him." I said, only realising that I didn't use any honorifics in a public place. 'What is happening to me?'

"Oh yeah he did, it's one of the benefits of being the daughter of a detective and knowing the most feared detective in Inada." She said with that same heart-pounding smirk as before.

"That great to hear the justice system working… wait, how did your father find out about it, it was three on one wasn't it?"

"Yeah, till my ex-girlfriend showed up out of the blue. Well, I say, girlfriend, we weren't dating before then, hell, I never talked to her before then and then a tall, large-breasted redhead teen with shocking green eyes comes out of nowhere and scares them off whilst I'm crying and trying to stop my blood from leaving me." She said with a grimace.

"At least she came by at the right time… You said "ex-girlfriend," what happened between you two?" I asked, hoping that my question wasn't personal and that her ex wouldn't come back.

"Yeah, I was lucky that she was on one of her early mornings runs.… and if that was your attempt to ask if I'm single, not a bad way to do it…"

'Shit, she can see right through me.'

"But yeah, we broke up when I was put in jail, apparently she was given the choice by her parents of staying with me and losing her name or keeping her name and leave me, she chose the latter as you can see." I watch her play with her pencil before lacing it between her fingers and looking at me. "Can we change subjects please?"

"By all means."

"Why do you want to know if I was single or not?" She said with a mischievous look in her brilliant silver eyes.

'Fuck!' "Oh… erm… it was merely out of curios-" I began before hearing my phone ping from my bag, signalling that I had a message and I was glad that something had stopped me before I said anything else embarrassing.

"I take it that was yours?" I heard Ruby say as my hand drifts to my bag that was sitting on the floor next to me.

"Yes, I believe it was." I said bending down and fishing my phone out. And when I right myself, I unlock it and open the message that Winter had sent.

Sis: I'm sorry Weiss, I know that it's your birthday today and that I promised to take you out to your favourite restaurant, but I'm going to have to cancel and I won't home tonight due to a mountain of paperwork that has landed on my desk.

I couldn't help but frown at her massage, but I knew how it was, her work was making her more busier, so I had a funny feeling that this was going to happen. 'Another birthday alone… great.'

Snow White: No problems Sis, I'm feeling pretty tired, so I was thinking about having an early night.

I knew lying to her would be the only way not to make her angry.

Sis: Thank you for understanding, I'll make it up to at some point.

Placing my phone on the table, screen side down, I couldn't help but lose my composure by slumping back into the chair. 'Make it up to me… you haven't done so since dad died so why change now.'

"Is everything okay?" I heard Ruby say from next to me and I realized that I was still at school. 'Damn it, I forgot where I was again.'

Sitting up straight and making sure that my posture was flawless, I turn to face her. "Yes, I am, thank you, it was just my Sis informing me that she won't be home again tonight."

"Again? How busy can a Prosecutor get?"

"She can get quite busy," I said as I watch her bring her hand up to my face and with a gentle touch, she wiped something from under my left eye and I hoped that she could hear my heartbeat rapidly, she could probably see the blush that I'm sure I had.

"You say you're fine so why are you crying slightly?" She asked wiping under my other eye before retracting her hand.

Going back to my bag, I pull a handkerchief out and start to wipe the rest of the tears away. By the time that I had placed the handkerchief back into my bag, I had managed to calm myself down and when I turn to face Ruby, I was expecting to see her look at me like I'm some sort of child but I wasn't expecting to see a look of familiarity and warmth. "I'm sorry that you had to see me like that, I don't really like being at home by myself."

"There's no need to apologise, I know the feeling all too well." She said looking off to her left like she was having a conversation with someone.

'Maybe I could ask her to come over and possibly get her to stay the night and… no, I couldn't do that just in case Sis arrives home early in the morning.'

When she looks back at me, that god damn smirk returns. "Maybe I could-"

Ruby started but when I heard the Library door open and then Terra Cotta shouts. "There you are President." I couldn't help be thankful that someone had stop Ruby from finishing that sentence as I don't think that I would have been able to say no.

Excusing myself from the table, I walk over to Tarra. "How can I help you, Cotta-san?" It's then that I notice that she is holding a melena folder in her hands.

"It's about that "thing" you wanted us to look into." She said raising said folder up.

Looking around quickly, I notice everyone staring at us and the whispering resurfaced to the point where everyone were talking normally.

"Hey, what do you think that's all about?"

"Hell should I know! Maybe it's about getting new hand dryers in the restroom."

"I hope so, they have needed repairs for ages."

"Need I remind everyone that this is a Library and not the courtyard, so if you want to gossip, I suggest going there and let the few students who want to study, study." I said with a commanding tone whilst facing the room properly.

Watching everyone go silent filled me with pride as I turn back at face Tarra. "I think it's best if we go outside to discuss this." I said opening the door and letting her go through before flashing Ruby a smile and then following Tarra out.

Date: 4/23 – Saturday

Location: Shujin Academy Library

As I watch Weiss and a lightly tanned skin with brown hair and glasses that I now know as Cotta walking out of the Library, my eyes never leaving Weiss for a second until the door closes.

"I bet you she's a-" My other-self started and I knew what she was going to say the second she started talking.

'If you finish that sentence, I will find a way to kill you.'

"I would like to see you try babe, but I let it go for now." I sense her take Weiss's seat and look at me. "I wonder what is in that folder that cute looking girl had."

'I'm not sure, but it looked very important for Weiss to take it outside… wait,' I look over to where she was sitting. 'you have some freedom of movement?' I feel her nod her head. 'Then can't you eavesdrop on them?'

"As much I would like to say yes babe, sadly I can't, I'm stuck to a very short leash."

Sitting there whilst waiting for Weiss to come back, I stifle a yawn as I thought back on the conversation about Winter. 'It's understandable to not like being alone at home, but unless she has some unknown fear that I don't know about then a text from her sister shouldn't bring her to tears.'

"She did leave her phone right there." My Shadow said and she was correct, Weiss did leave her phone near me on the table. "She doesn't have any passwords or codes, so you can find out if you want."

'Can't you just tell me what was said?'

"Nope, I zoned out after seeing it was from her sister."

'The one time I want you to be helpful and you're not… but I can't break the trust I have with Weiss by looking through her phone.'

"Well, the choice is completely up to you sweet thing, but she won't be gone for long." She said against my ear.

'…Shit.' Making sure that no one was looking, I reach across the table and pick Weiss's phone up. It was strange to find someone else with the same smartphone as I did, considering that mine was several years old. My Shadow was correct in the fact that Weiss didn't have any security mechanics, which, for the sister of a Prosecutor, was very stupid.

After swiping to unlock it, the same messaging app as I think everyone in Japan uses was still open, with her and Winters chat sitting there. 'I'm going to hell for this.'

"Yeah, you are."

'Quiet you.' Tapping on their chat icon, their conversation pops up.

Sis: I'm sorry Weiss, I know that it's your birthday today and that I promised to take you out to your favourite restaurant, but I'm going to have to cancel and I won't home at all due to a mountain of paperwork that that boss has given me.

Snow White: No problems Sis, I'm feeling pretty tired, so I was thinking about having an early night.

Sis: Thank you for understanding, I'll make it up to at some point.

Closing their chat and locking her phone, I place it back where it was and then lean back into my chair. 'So that's why then, Winter has cancelled her plans to take Weiss out for her birthday again… You're a shitty sister Winter.'

"How do you think she feels, she's spending it with you in the library."

'Yeah… I think I should take her out somewhere.'

"You kidding me? You don't know anywhere in Tokyo."

'That not true, there that arcade and that reman place that Sun took me to and then there's that dinner I meet the others in as well.'

"So, what? Are you going to take her to an arcade, for her birthday? How romantic."

'I've barely done any dating before, so cut me some slack. Oh, you are going to be helping me.'

"Why should I?"

'You want to see more of her right?' She nods. 'So, help me then.'

"What can I do? I can't touch anything remember?"

'With my energy.'

"Piece of cake." She said patting my back as I started to pack up what equipment I got out and putting my school blazer back on just as Weiss came back in with folder in hand.

"Why have you packed up, Rose-chan? We still have a lot to go over." Weiss said as she came to a stop near the chair that she was using before placing the folder into her bag.

I stood and shouldered my backpack. "Oh, well I've just gotten hungry that's all and I know a great diner in Shibuya, so I was thinking about heading there. You can come with me if you want, my treat." I said in the most charming tone I could and hoped that it worked.

"If it's the one I think you are talking about then sure, I'll join you. Truth be told, I've been meaning to try that place out as I heard nothing but good news about it." She said picking her phone up and pocketing it and then packing up the rest of her work.

The whispers started up again as I left to stand near the door as Weiss packed up her things.

"No way! I can't believe she just asked her straight out."

"So, the President is a lesbian as well and has a thing for bad girls."

"No wonder she never agreed to go out with me."

"Dude! You didn't stand a chance with either of them."

"Shall we get going?" I heard Weiss say from my right and upon nodding my head, I open the door and gesture for her to walk with a flourishing bow. I noticed her blush. "How chivalrous of you."

As we walk out of the library, I flip everyone off before the door closes and then cock my elbow out for Weiss, and when she laces her arm through it, we walk off.

Date: 4/23 – Saturday

Location: Taito Station Arcade, Shibuya

As we stepped foot into the arcade, the same attendant was behind the counter and after a small conversation and paying the same entrance fee, we were in. Weiss looked at me with concern in her eyes.

"Why are we here? I thought we were going to that dinner." She said as we made our way into the building.

I let out a sigh as I come around and stop in front of her. "Please don't be too mad at me, but… when you went out to speak with tan skin girl, Cotta-san, I wanted to know why you would shed tears from getting a message from your Sister stating that she wouldn't be home tonight…"

The look on her face turned to that of disgust as it was clear that she knew what I did. "So, you broke into my phone and invaded my personal space?" I hung my head and nodded ever so slightly. "I can't believe you… I thought I could trust you."

I reach out to grab her hand when I notice her turn around, with clear intent to leave. "I just didn't want you to spend your birthday tutoring me." I could help but speak in a small tone and as silence greats me, I look up and spot a look of affection(?) on Weiss' face. "That is why we are here… I'll take you to that diner after here, I promise."

"You didn't have to, Ruby."

"This Fair Maiden wants to." I said with a wink.

Her laughter is like music to my ears as she passes me. "This Knight will have to pay you back on your birthday."

'What shall we do first, we could play some Gun About or maybe some DDR.' We passed by a poster indicating where everything was. 'Maybe she would like to play a fighting game instead.' We end up going and playing some DDR (much to Weiss asking to go after seeing where it was,) for about half an hour. I think it was only so Weiss could watch me move but as we continued, Weiss' movements improved, even though she was wearing heels. But it was nice to see someone who I have somewhat taught move a lot better than the first time, a lot less stiff and more fluid.

We somehow drew a small crowd after she had challenged me to a dance-off, well I say dance-off but it was apparently her way to watch me move, more. Which I didn't mind not one bit, but seeing as it was her birthday and I wanted to try and earn some points in my favour, so I did what any gentlewoman would do, I let her win. She had her suspicions about it but I kept telling her that it didn't help that I had been going all out on the first set of tracks and that she had challenged me to a difficult song. The crowd dispersed shortly after she won and so did we after that.

It was actually funny to watch Weiss play a fighting game, granted, I wasn't much better but I didn't button mash the hell out of the machine like she did. The look of concentration when she would mess up and get hit several times and it was super adorable when she jumps up and down and exclaim that she won. I lost most of the games against her due to that.

I was never much of a fan of fighting games, so when Weiss suggested that she wanted to have a go at Gun About, I was all up for it. The Arcade had two machines back then and considering that the game was popular, it was strange to find only one of the machines being used by a kid that was wearing what looked like an outfit straight from an anime. I would never have put an olive coat with red shoulder pads together but he somehow pulled it off. I gave Weiss a quick rundown on how the game worked and how to play, but seeing as I had to learn from Sun, -who just chucked me in at the deep end- I was hoping that Weiss would stand a better chance than I did.

And as it turned out, she was better than I was when I started… even after telling her what buttons did what on the gun-controller several times.

I, myself was doing alright at the game seeing as I had more real-life gun experience than her, but I found myself missing more than I thought I would. When we had been playing for about half an hour, I left her to carry on playing whilst I went off to get us a couple of drinks.

Having to go back to the ground floor just for the drinks was annoying but I can't blame them for the layout, I ended up buying a chocolate bar for myself as well. As I made my way to the stairs, I passed a section of Crane games and I couldn't help but notice a cute looking black and white panda sitting in one of them. I stared at the plushie before dropping my backpack and drinks on the floor next to the machine and stepping up to try my luck.

"Are you really gonna try and win that for her?" My other-self said as I felt her lean on me.

'Yeah, it is her birthday after all.' I moved the crane over his arm and pressed the button to descended it, I missed catching him on the pull-up.

"Why though? You've paid to get in here and you're paying for her meal later on."

'And? It's not a birthday without presents and going off of that worn Buchimaru-kun pencil case of hers, she would love this panda.' I role my shoulder and crack my fingers before inserting another coin.

I hear her sigh and then feel her weight against my back. "You're useless, you know that."

'Don't care, I really, really like her… so I'm getting this either way.' Missing him once again, I slam my fist down on the console before getting another coin out and inserting it.

The chocolate bar was devoured before the seventh attempt, and I had managed to get him sitting upright amongst the other plushies and as I stopped the crane over him and smacked the button to descended it. I watched it drop onto his head and when the claws snaps and close, I let out a squeak as it ascended and started to move towards the drop point. 'Come on you cute fuck, you are going to help me get the girl.'

Time slowed down as it moved to the drop point that I thought that I was using my 'Third Eye' ability, but when the crane stopped above the drop point and let Buchimaru-kun fall, I let go a breath I didn't know I was holding and dropped to my knees before he could make it down the shoot.

"From what I can recall from our memories, didn't they stop making Buchimaru-kun merchandise?"

'Yeah, they did and that is why I had to get him, he's probably one of the last of his kind' I got him out and ran a hand over his head. 'And I know the best person to look after you.'

After picking my backpack and drinks up, I made sure that Buchimaru-kun was safe in my backpack before setting off to re-join Weiss. And when I made it to the stairs, my other-self told me that she was coming down. So, I leant against wall nearby and cracked open one of the bottles and waited.

It was kind of funny to watch Weiss come down the stairs and start to look around for me and as I moved to stand behind her my other-self was telling me to scare the hell out of her. I ignored her. "If you're looking for me, then you're doing a poor job at it."

I watch her jump and turn around and place a hand over her heart with terror in her eyes before realizing it was me and if looks could kill, then I'm sure I would have died tenfold by now. "The next time you do that, I will hurt you… why were you there?"

"I was on my way back up when I heard your heels coming down, now my question is why are you down here? I said I would be back with refreshments." I asked handing her the other bottle.

"I know, but when you didn't return for some time, I started to wonder where you got to." She said and I couldn't help but spot a bit of colour in her face, whether it was due to me disappearing for some time, or due to physically exerting herself or maybe -and a little part of me was hoping this- it was due to me.

"It's cute that you got worried about me, but why don't we grab something to eat now."

Date: 4/23 – Saturday

Location: Diner, Shibuya

When we got to the Diner, it wasn't nearly as packed I thought it would be given the time of day so finding a booth for us wasn't that bad at all. We managed to get a table by the window, the clouds were casting shadows but the afternoon sun was pushing through. To my surprise, the same waitress from before served us and she had a different kind of air to her this time. Probably because I was here with someone else and not looking like the third wheel, but it was nice making small talk with her before placing our order. Weiss ordering a large bowl of Takoyaki and I ordered myself the Nostalgic Steak "again" …hell, if Zwei loved it, then why not.

"I didn't know you were so popular here." Weiss said shortly after the waitress left.

"Just with her it seems, she helped me annoy Blake and Sun the last time I was here." A look of disgust appears on her face when I mentioned their names.

"Oh… it's just that from how you two interacted, one would expect you two to be very close." She said with a look of worry.

"I've already got eyes on someone." I couldn't help but smirk and wink at her as our eyes met.

I watched her fidget in her seat and a dusting of pink coat her cheeks. "Okay… then." She averted her eyes from me in an attempt to regain her composure.

Our drinks arrived shortly after and then we made small talk whilst we waited for our food arrived. And by small talk, I mean very little conversation on both our ends, whether it was because we were treating this more as a date than just two friends hanging out. All of this I put down to how I interacted with the waitress.

When our food arrived, the silences from before continued till I was about halfway through my steak due to my other-self annoying me because of the silence, so I tried to talk to her about her family, I already knew about her sister, but I never heard anything about her parents.

To which she responded with more silences as she places her chopsticks down on the table and takes a sip of her drink. "I think it is only fair that I share something about me after you did."

"I didn't mean it like that."

"Neither the less…" She takes another sip of her drink. "I never knew my mother; I've only seen her in the odd photo that we still have hanging around the apartment." I raise an eyebrow at that, one that she notices straight away. "There were complications during my birth and as a result, she passed away; my skin tone is also a lighter tone then Sis is because of it as well."

"My father, on the other hand, was a great Detective, one that strived to end crime." The fondness in her voice led me to believe that she held her father with high praise.

"Was?" There was a silence that reminded me of earlier. "I'm sorry Weiss."

"He was killed 5 years ago when he was meeting an undercover officer who was in with the White Fang, it is why I don't trust Faunus as much as I use to." I watch her hang her head and fall silent once again. Moving around to sit next to her, I place my arm around her in hope to comfort her. I felt my heart beat faster when she leaned into me and as her head comes to rest against my chest, I squeezed just enough to let her know that I'm there.

We sat there for some time and we did get some weird looks from some of the patrons and the waitress from before came up to inquire if everything was okay and with a nod from me, she left and then returned with a small stack of napkins before leaving us again.

It was clear that talking about her father was and would be a tough subject to talk about.

After a few minutes, I turn my head just enough to see that Weiss had closed her eyes and had somewhat curled towards me and had fallen asleep. 'Why does someone like you have to go through something like that.' I brush some hair out of her eyes before reaching for the steak that I had left.

Date: 4/23 – Saturday

Location: Outside La Tour Aobadai apartment complex, Shibuya

As we walked with linked arms down the empty path to the entrance to the apartment complex that she lived in, my heart started to race once again when I felt her head rest against my shoulder. "Are my shoulders really that comfortable?"

"Yes, surprisingly… I use to fall asleep on my father's shoulder all the time when I was younger." My Snowy Princess said and I felt her squeeze my arm a bit tighter and move closer to me.

"He sounded like a great man." I said as we continued our slow walk.

"He was… I sorry for falling asleep earlier, if someone from our school saw us then rumours would spread fast."

"So? At least they would be better than the ones about me at this time." I couldn't help but say aloud.

I felt her stiffen against me before raising her head. "True."

We fell into a more comfortable silence than before as we continued our walk until we stopped in front of La Tour Aobadai, I really had a hard time believing that Weiss and Winter lived here, the place looked expensive to live in. Weiss unlinks herself and moves to stand in front of me as we neared the main entrance.

"You really didn't have to walk my home." She said slightly looking to her left with a slight tinge to her face.

"Of course I did, it would be pretty shitty of me to let my date go home by herself whilst I sat and waited for a train home." I said flashing a smile at her.

"How chivalrous of you Ruby." I couldn't help but fall deeper in love her when she smiles back.

"Well, I try."

"And you are doing a marvellous job at it." She looks at with a twinkle in eyes.

"Aren't you forgetting something you numbskull? You did waste time getting it." My other-self said too close to my ear than I liked.

'Shit, thanks for reminding me.' I move my backpack around and start to look for the cute panda plushie. "Now, close your eyes and hold out your hands."

She raised an eyebrow at me. "Why?"

"Just do it, please." I said in a soft tone and taking a hold of Buchimaru-kun and making sure that he was hidden

"If you scare me, I will hurt you." She said, doing what asked.

"I wouldn't think about doing such a thing." Taking Buchimaru-kun out, I place him in her hands facing her. "You can open them."

And when she does, she lets out a squeal before hugging the panda, hard. "How did you… where did you get Buchi-kun from?"

The smile on my face widens at her reaction. "He was in one the claw game on the first floor of the arcade."

"So that's why you were gone for so long," She clutched Buchimaru-kun harder with a look of pure joy. "but how did you know that I would love this?"

"You don't see a worn pencil case like yours every day." At that, her blush deepens.

"Thank you, I love him." She said before eliminating what space there was between us and with a small jump, she throws her arms around my neck.

Returning the embrace, I lifted her just enough so that I was stuck bending down. I could feel her heart beating rapidly as we stood there, she was surprisingly light. "Aren't you worried about people seeing us like this?" I whispered in her ear.

"I don't care, it's not every day that I get to see a new Buchimaru-kun." She whispered back, tightening her grip around my neck, making hard to breathe.

"Erm… Princess… can't breathe…" I manage to choke out and I was glad and upset that she let go.

"Sorry, father use to say that I had a strong grip." She said bring Buchimaru-kun back into a hug.

"My little sister is getting a strong grip as well." I said after a couple of lungs full of air.

"You should be getting back, shouldn't you?" She said behind Buchimaru-kun.

"Trying to get rid of me already, are you?"

"N-no of… of course not, I just don't want you getting in trouble with your guardian." She moves the panda plush out the way.

Pulling my phone out and checking the time, she was right, James will probably have a go at me for staying out this late. "You are right sadly; James-san will more than likely have a go at me." I take a step back and bow theatrically and as I straighten, I manage to take hold of her free hand and place a gentle kiss upon her knuckles.

I notice her grip slacken on Buchimaru-kun before she brings him back up into a hug and to hide her face. "I'll see you on Monday, Ruby." She squeaked out before turning and speed walking inside the building.

"See you Monday my Snowy Princess." I said, watching her disappear inside the elevator before a ringing noise filled my ears and the feeling the brand on my back start to heat up. 'What the…? With her?' "…I am thou, thou art I…" As the ringing got louder, I could feel the presence of her near me. "…The Priestess…" As the feeling goes and the sound returns, I look to see if anyone was looking before turning and walking off to the station. 'Why do I have one with her?'

Only You (And You Alone)

Date: 4/23 – Saturday

Location: La Tour Aobadai apartment complex, Apartment No. 328

My heart was racing still as I entered my apartment and I was especially grateful that Sis was not coming home at all, as I was not looking forward to explaining why I had Buchi-kun with me and why I was looking as red as the girl that had given me him.

After a quick change of clothing, I had picked my laptop and my school bag up and moved into the dining/living room with the sole purpose to get some more studying done before going bed. (I had left Buchi-kun sitting at the table, waiting for me to return.)

With everything set for studying, I turned some music on to drown out the silence.

I made some progress but my mind kept on wandering back to Buchi-kun and the kiss that the sliver eyed prince left along my right knuckles. The melena folder was forgotten on the table. "How can someone like her get treated with such disdain, Buchi-kun?" I rest my head in my left hand and looked over to Buchi-kun.

"I don't know how she is coping with all those rumours about her… sure I've had my fair share of them, but I bet she has never had to deal with them as bad as it is at Yasogami High." Unbeknownst to me, Zenzenzensei by RADWIMPS started playing.

"So far, all she has been is nice and oh so very sweet towards me… it's nice having someone who doesn't, no, didn't know anything about me start to pursue me, Buchi-kun." I leant back in my chair and closed my eyes.

"Who am I kidding, Buchi-kun, after everything she has done for me, the way we act towards each other whenever we are near, the way she makes me feel… this must be what falling in love feels like, manga's, anime and research can only tell me so much Buchi-kun." Sitting up, I grab Buchi-kun from his seat and hug him as tight as I can.

"I'm in love with Ruby Rose," I mutter into him and smelling the faint smell her on him. "of all the people I know, I fall in love her."

As a livelier song starts to play, I couldn't help but get the urge to dance and the only partner I had nearby was Buchi-kun. Standing, I start to move around the apartment with Buchi-kun in tow as I started to think about the girl that I've fallen in love with.

'It doesn't help me that she is taller than me, she must love showing her legs off. The fact that her bust is bigger than mine does bother me somewhat but that just means that more fun for me… her scar does make her look more badass, in a sexy way. I wonder what…'

I stop both my train of thought and my movement and sit down on the couch when my thoughts started to get more perverted. "Oh God… why does she have to so attractive Buchi-kun." I hug him tightly again and relax into the couch.

I let the music play on in the background as I held on to Buchi-kun for some time before I managed to clear my head of the inappropriate thoughts and into the mindset for studying. With the cutest panda in hand, I moved back to the dining table to continue with what I had planned.

What must have been half an hour later, I heard a ping from my phone. 'Huh? Who's messaging me at this time? It's can't be Sis; she would still be working.'

After finding my phone under one of my notebooks, I opened it and the messaging app up to find a message from Ruby or Red Rose as her name was on the messaging app.

Red Rose: Hey Weiss, I just wanted to let you I got home safe.

Snow White: I'm glad to hear that Ruby, I hope your guardian didn't give you any trouble.

Red Rose: He did when I first got in but when I told him that I was on a birthday date with you, he seemed surprised by it at first and then went on about places to take you on dates.

Snow White: Oh…

Well, I'm glad that he was okay with it.

Red Rose: Yeah, I might have to take you out on more dates if it means that I get to stay out longer. ;)

Snow White: Well… I wouldn't be opposed to more that.

Red Rose: I'll have to set the next one then.

Anyway, I'm calling it there for today after all the fun I had.

Goodnight my Princess of Snow 3

I could feel my face heat up and my heart beat faster at the use of the cute nickname she's given me before typing out my response.

Snow White: Goodnight Ruby, sweet dreams.

Placing my phone down on the table, I still couldn't believe that I had fallen in love with the so-called "delinquent." That is when a realization came to mind, one that I couldn't help but say out loud as dread filled me.

"Sis is going to kill me when I tell her."

Authors Notes

First. Thank you to everyone who reads every chapter, leaves comments or reviews, every sub, favourite, follower and kudos.

Second. I didn't know that Makoto's birthday was the 23rd of April till my friend Knowledgeseeker66 told, so happy early birthday to her and whilst I'm on the subject anniversaries, I posted this story 2 years ago, the 6th on and the 11th on , so you might be wondering why I posted this on the 9th and not on those days is that I hate the fact that there was a difference of days. But who would have thought that so many people would read this story, I was expecting way less than there are, so thank you, I truly mean it.

Third. The places mentioned in this chapter, Taito Station Arcade and La Tour Aobadai apartment complex are places in and around Shibuya, I don't claim to know what they look like inside, I'm going off what I know about arcades and apartment complex. The song that played in the background, Zenzenzensei by RADWIMPS, is not bad, if you'll want to hear it, it's on YouTube, not sure about Spotify.

And if you are wounding about the bit at the beginning of the scene with Weiss in her apartment, it's a scene title that I might add in every once and a while, Only You (And You Alone) is a song done by The Platters and was featured in Fry Cry 5 and the credits of Batman Arkham City, there are numerous songs that I could have picked for the scene title but I thought that that one suited just fine.

So, Ruby has started her C. Link with Weiss way earlier than you do in-game. Why? Why the hell not, the rest of her C. Link will probably won't start till later so don't worry and Weiss has finally come to terms with her feeling for Ruby, I hope that I made it somewhat believable as I have plans for her and her feelings.

Also, I'll ask again, but would anyone like it if I went back and revamped some of the previous chapters? I fine with leaving them as they are now as I think they are a nice inclination of how far I've come as a writer over the years, I've got a couple of ideas for the beginning which I wish I had when I started. So please, comment/review if you want it or not as I would like to hear your thoughts on this matter.

If there is anything else you guys or gals want to know about the last chapter or this chapter that I didn't cover please feel free to comment and I'll try to give you the answers you seek without spoiling anything, but in the meantime, Walk Tall and Be Fierce, my Friends and I hope you had a great Christmas and New Year.
