Chapter 2: The Surprise.

POV: Lady.

The crowd continued to cheer for me and my voice as I gazed happily at the wonderful supporters before me. I loved their support and the fact that my song made their day. Though it's not easy being famous, singing was a passion for me, ever since I was a little girl.

My name is Petra Stone, but since my father called me it, my name as a celebrity is Lady. I'm a 17 year old whose always been finding herself on the singer's path since I've made my mark with my first ever song at the age of 14, and have only been climbing higher and higher up the ranks.

My life haven't always been like this however, for as a little girl, my family struggled financially and thus my singing became a way for me to relieve me of my stress. This eventually led me to my career as of now, giving my father a chance to use his technology tinkering habits to find ways to enhance my performance without major auto-tune or meddling with my voice completely. Our family is held together by these performances and is rightfully so. That said, though I'm a celebrity, there were times where I wished I could live normally. And boy, was it a wish did I think hard on to achieve.

As I then left the stage, signed autographs and went to the dressing room, I plopped onto the chair by the mirror exhaling from exhaustion.

"Another day done." I sighed as I laid back a bit to relax before I changed into some clean clothes.

Glancing at the ceiling I began to think about it again, the life as a normal teenager.

"I wonder what it would like?" I muttered. "What would it be like to live without any financial issues or fans swarming at you? Would it still be something to smile about?"

I continued to think about it more and then an idea came to my head.

"Would I still be swarmed if I had a date? I mean, it might help. But may need to talk to father about it."

As I then came to that decision, I got up and went to grab my fresh change of clothes.

After changing I exited the dressing room, and met up with my mother and father in the lobby, where things had calmed down quite a bit.

"Excellent singing once again, Lady." My father remarked as my Mother brought me into an embrace.

"Thanks dad." I replied. "Um... Anyways. Can I talk to you and Mum about something? I don't know if I'll anger you a bit but..."

"Go ahead." My father replied. "And thank you for the warning."

I nodded, and took in a deep breath, as I readied to dare make the suggestion.

"Dad..." I began. "You know how I often wonder how a normal teenage life would be like?"

"Yes."

"Well... I was thinking that I should get a date with someone around my age, and they can give me that experience. B-but... with your judgment first of course. For you'll know who'd be trustworthy."

There was a long silence as my Father had his pondering look plastered across his face. Then before I knew it, he broke it.

"Normally I'd say no..." he said slowly. "But considering that fact that you suggested that I look for the date, I'll be sure to find someone not just trustworthy, but also one who'd you enjoy spending time with."

"Oh thank you dad!" I exclaimed.

"Anytime, Lady." He chuckled. "Come on. Let's get a bite to eat before we leave to Brighton."

"Right!" I replied, as mother and I followed behind.

POV: Thomas.

A few days passed since Lady announced her coming to Brighton, and my injuries were now healed to where it was okay for me to walk without too much assistance. But sadly, I didn't see any point of celebrating since it was the day of her concert in Brighton, and I was certain that I was going to miss out, as my parents signed the discharge papers.

"I wish I could see it too." I thought as I walked through the halls with my Mum and Dad. "Getting a chance to see Lady live is a once in a life time opportunity."

However, as we got into the car, I noticed smirks across my parent's faces. I didn't think much of it first, until I noticed something odd.

"Hang about! This is not the way back home!" I exclaimed in my thoughts. "Where are we going?"

My answer was given as I saw the street names for the Brighton Dome.

"What?! Mum! Dad! Why are you going here?!"

"Oh just thought you wanted to see a certain someone live, Thomas." My mother said slyly. "So when your father and I heard the news, we when online, got the info, and got the tickets."

I was shocked that Mum and dad even considered about bringing me to this event at all. So much so that I began to cry in disbelief.

"Why? Why would you just waste money on a burden like me?"

"Because you're not a burden Thomas." My father replied. "We love you greatly, and want you to have a good time after all the bad you had. Timothy would too, you know."

I nodded in response as I heard dad's words. Timothy WOULD want me to have a good time, have fun and smile even after all that's happened to me, for it was these very things that can remind a person that their life had some meaning. and for a time, make them forget about their negative remarks. A moment where they can truly shine.

As we then left and locked the car, we handed in our tickets, and the staff members showed us to our seats. The lights suddenly turned off, as the spotlights on the stage before us came on. Before I knew it, I was glancing at HER beautiful face that was very angelic which went all too well with her slender figure. Her hair shined, as her eyes looked before her audience with enthusiasm and delight.

My heart skipped a beat, this was HER in the flesh, in person, and before my very eyes. The one and only Lady Stone.
