Chapter 4: The Hotel.
POV: Thomas.
As Lady's voice flowed across across us, Dad still hadn't returned to his seat. When he did, he immediately gave me the crisps that I would usually have at the cinema and I made sure that I chewed very quietly and carefully as I continued to listen to Lady's angelic voice, still very much captivated by her as a whole.
My heart was still skipping a beat as it ended, when her signing autographs.
"I would too." I thought as I saw the people flood towards her. "But I doubt she'll ever notice me. Let alone not get my arm broken at it."
Feeling depressed, I snatched the hands of my parents, and we promptly walked out, unaware that her eyes caught glimpse of me.
POV: Lady.
My eyes only starred at him, as I saw him walking out, looking very glum, and not asking me for any autographs.
Though some may find it rude, I certainly didn't for not every would want for one. However, it wasn't that fact that made me stare at him, nor the fact that he was leaving or glum. I couldn't answer it, but my heart pounded as I saw this teenage boy dressed in blue, looking about to be the same age as me.
"Who is he?" I thought. "And why all of a sudden do I feel like I want him all to myself?"
Regardless, I tried to shrug it off as I continued to sign autographs, thinking that I'll never see him again. Boy was I wrong.
POV: Thomas.
As dad drove about, he seemed to be stalling a bit at first, when stopping at the petrol station, to refuel the car when it was already fine. I then saw him whisper something into mother's ear which instantly gave her some more patience with him.
"What's going on?" I thought, as mother then looked at me smiling.
"Thomas, just so you know, we're going to arrive home late tonight, so think on where you want to get a bite to eat and we'll go there."
"Alright." I sighed. "I'll make sure it's close by too."
As I then turned on my phone, I suddenly spotted a certain teen in red that made me fill up with fear. Flinching as Geoffrey saw me, I locked my door, and rolled up my windows, as he stomped menacingly towards my direction.
"Well! Well! Well!" He said devilishly. "Look who it is! Fated to have me give you another beating ey?!"
"Back off, Geoffrey!" My father barked as he caught sight of the scene between the bully and me.
"HEY!" Said a feminine voice that made us all cringe. "What are you doing! Yelling at my son! You should be ashamed of yourself, mister!"
The voice belonged to Mrs. Robinson, Geoffroy's mother.
Due to her being more of a Karen and Smother, rather than a mother, Mrs. Robinson was another big factor on why Geoffrey acts the way he does towards me. She was a true example of an entitled parent, and is only satisfied when Geoffrey's wishes are granted.
As she barked what sounded to be gibberish and nonsense to my father, mother walked over, with a VERY dark glare and her phone in hand.
"AHEM!" She went as she cleared her throat to get Mrs. Robinson's attention. "My husband had EVERY RIGHT to yell at your monster of a son!"
"Monster?! How dare..."
"I AM TALKING!" Mum shouted at such a volume, startling everyone nearby. "I am just ONE! ONE number away from calling the police! If you don't want your so called 'angel child' to be yelled at, or to be arrested by the police, then get both of your rears out of here, and away from my son whom HE harmed many times!"
A short silence then fell, as Mrs. Robinson scowled with frustration upon her defeat.
"Okay, Billinton." She growled. "But do take note of this. Once my Geoffrey marries that young pop-star, Lady, YOU WILL RESPECT HIM!"
She then swung heel, promptly taking Geoffrey with her. I then looked down at my feet in dismay, just knowing that the possibility of yet another crush of mine being taken away.
After dad finished topping off the car, we ate at a fast food joint, and from there, he opened the directions to a hotel. Still being shaken by Mrs. Robinson's words, I was silent, and attempting to bury my feelings, for I saw no point of even crushing on her, if Geoffrey was to take her from me as well. And boy can I say that I was an idiot for thinking that.
As we then walked through the halls, we stopped at one of the doors, and dad knocked on it. With the gesture done, it didn't take long until a man about the same age as dad answered it to greet us.
"Ah! Right on time, Howard! I'm glad to see you make it."
"Same here, Burnett." My father replied. "Anyway.." He then said as he pushed me out of hiding. "Here's my son Thomas whom of which is still in the dark."
I raised my eyebrow at this, trying to compute my father's intentions.
"Still in the dark? Still in the dark about what?"
My father and mother just smiled as they then looked at me.
"Thomas..." My father began. "This is Burnett Stone. He's a old friend of mine and your mother's as well as the father of a certain girl."
"Certain girl?" I quizzed, as then realization struck me hard.
VERY hard, to precisely say.
"Stone... You don't mean..."
"Hey dad! Are they here?!" Asked a beautiful voice that I knew all too well, and I thought I would get to hear in the concert and the recordings of previous ones.
"Yes Lady! They are!"
"Holycrapholycrapholycrapholycrapholycrapholycrap!" I went in my thoughts, as I saw her beautiful face in person once again, but much closer this time.
We gazed at one another, unable to utter a single word, Lady Stone and I.
To be continued...
