Chapter 5: Meeting Lady.

POV: Lady.

After we returned to the hotel we were staying at I laid on the reclining couch that was in there as my parents went about, doing their own thing, as my mind was thinking about HIM.

"I wonder what was making him look so sad." I thought, as I then realized what was happening, and clasped my face as I felt the heat rise. "Gosh! Darn it! Stop crushing on him! You'll probably NEVER see him again, darn it!"

"Lady, dear, are you feeling okay?"

"Yes, mum." I replied, hesitant to admit the fact that I was in love with someone. "I'm fine. Just got a lot on my mind is all. I hope this date that dad found me is as nice as he says."

"I know your father to be an excellent judge of character, Lady." My mother cooed. "I'm sure he will."

It was that moment when a knock at the door was heard, and Mother dashed towards the front where my father already was.

At first, I thought it was a delivery guy of some sort, until, Mother made a gesture, telling me to come her way.

"Hey dad! Are they here?!" I asked as I edged closer and closer.

"Yes Lady! They are!" He replied, making me to pick up my pace.

Before I knew it, I found my body freezing in surprise as I saw HIM, gazing at me. The boy who I saw at the concert.

"Oh gosh he's cute." I thought. "And to think that I was never going to see him again. Oh.. He must also be THAT much of a major fan of me, for he seems to look a bit star-struck. Looks like I have to do the first approach."

I exhaled readying my words, as I continued to gaze at him.

His eyes were so hard to not be hypnotized by, for they were a wonderful shade of sky blue. Not to mention his black hair that shined so well. I was feeling the heat rise by just looking at him, that's for sure.

Moving my lips, I spoke very calmly to him.

"Hey. Thomas, right? Dad's told me that you're going to visit, so I kind of got excited."

POV: Thomas.

"Wait.. what?! S-she knows my name?!" I exclaimed out in my thoughts. "What's going on here?!"

"Heh-he-he-he! I bet you're probably confused on how I know your name." Lady said to me as she giggled. "Even more so on how dad found out about it before being introduced to you."

"You think?!" I replied feeling a bit nervous. "I only just came from the concert for a visit I to you that I knew nothing about, and the fact that you referred to me by my name without even being introduced to you is really mind boggling."

"Well... I'm willing to tell you more about it inside, since I kind of wanted to do it alone."

"Um... Alone? But our parents are..."

I froze in my tracks as I saw mum, dad, Burnett and Tasha not where they were a few seconds ago. I then felt my phone vibrate to find that mum messaged me.

Mum: Sorry if we didn't tell you, sweetie. But your father and I decided to go with Burnett and Tasha out to eat and catch up a bit. Have fun with Lady, okay? And DON'T do anything dirty.

"Me? Do something dirty with Lady of all people?! Seriously mum?!"

I sighed as I then texted just the perfect reply. Hearing some of their high school student stories, I knew just how to get back at Mum and Dad.

Thomas: Okay, but it's YOU who has to worry about getting drunk and end up doing "IT" with dad.

Mum: Argh! Seriously! Why must you remind me of that!

Thomas: Because 1. you brought up the topic. 2. You guys are most likely at a bar or another place that has alcoholic drinks. and 3. I doubt I would NEVER wish to drink something alcoholic , for some of them smell awful. Point is... Don't assume my intentions with Lady. Yeah I got a crush on her, but it's not like she's ACTUALLY going to want me romantically.

Mum: Well.. You might be right there, sweetie. But, yet again, you might be surprised. So... Goodluck! Love you!

Thomas: Love you too.

I sighed as I stuck my phone back into my pocket with Lady smiling as she gazed at me knowingly.

"Your parents I presume?"

"Yeah, my mother to be exact. Though she's a great mother to me, she had a tendency to tease me from time to time. On the contrary I do get her back with remarks that remind her of her high school days with dad which really embarrass her."

Lady burst into laughter at my reply as it came to a close.

"Oh gosh! That's so cheeky!" She remarked.

"Yeah I guess it is." I sighed, as I then followed her into the hotel room. "Not like I'm special or anything. Let alone of any value."

"You don't value yourself?" Lady quizzed worriedly as I sighed, assuming it's just a feeling of pity and non of real concern.

"No I don't. And why should I? I'm always getting my bones broken anyway."

"Because there's people who care about you, and would be so heart broken if they saw you like this."

"Really? So where are they?" I asked with a hint of sarcasm, trying not to yell. "Mum and dad are the only ones whom show any hint of care or love for me while everyone around me sees me as nothing."

POV: Lady.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. This boy before me, who had visited me after my concert had NO self value what so ever, and basically said that he had no friends. Sighing, I sat next to him and looked straight at him in the eyes.

"Thomas, I don't see you as nothing, you hear? I see a whole lot of potential, and someone quite likable. So please do your best to lower this self hating behavior, it's really hard for me to stand seeing."

"I'm sorry." Thomas replied with apologetic eyes which were truly sincere. "No-one aside from Mum and Dad ever commented me before, and it's very hard to take in."

"I get it." I replied. "But regardless, this is why I wanted to talk about this next topic in private, so I can see if we can make it work out. If you feel that you should back out, I'll understand, after all... I am asking you if you're willing taking me out on a date."

"What?" Was all that came out of his lips as I felt my hopes drain downward.
