Kakarot's Path to Divinity

As Planet Vegeta faced certain doom, a young Saiyan was sent away by his parents to keep him safe. Meanwhile, the God of Destruction, Lord Beerus, prepares himself for a long sleep, to wait for his greatest rival, the Super Saiyan God. The young Saiyan lands on Beerus's planet, and Lord Beerus orders his attendant Whis to train the child while he sleeps. This is his story.

5. Destruction of Evil

Kakarot had finally gotten situated into his new position as Universe 7's God of Destruction and looked through Whis's staff in order to find any threats to Universe 7's safety. He quickly found what he was looking for and told Whis, "Whis, we're going to meet this Lord Frieza. Beerus was a lazy god, so Frieza could easily manipulate him. I'm not going to be so easy to manipulate."

Whis nodded, "Yes my lord." before taking his new God of Destruction to Frieza's spaceship.

When they arrived, a goon said, "Lord Frieza, there's someone here to see you, he says he's the new God of Destruction."

Frieza was shocked when his minion said that there was a new God of Destruction and went to his final form right before going to greet them, only to realize that the new God of Destruction was a Saiyan. He swallowed hard and said, "M-My lord, it's an honor to serve. I assure you, I will not disappoint you and will serve as your personal Agent of Destruction."

Whis whispered to Kakarot, "He said the same sort of things to Beerus, but rarely ever followed through on such claims."

Kakarot thought for a moment before looking Frieza in the eyes. He could easily see through his lies and held out his hand, "Beerus may have been willing to accept such nonsense, but I am not Beerus." as he held his hand up to Frieza, he said a single word, "Hakai." before Frieza screamed in pain as he was being erased from existence by the hand of the new God of Destruction.

The Frieza Force members who watched this stood shaking in place, terrified of what could become them if Frieza was killed before he could even attack the new God. A purple alien with horns came out and said, "M-My lord, we have no quarrel with one such as you. We will change the Frieza Force to be proper Agents of Destruction who obey the orders of a god."

Kakarot thought for a moment, he had his doubts, but he decided to let the fear linger in their minds and see where it went from there. If they were smart, the fear of being destroyed like Frieza would keep them in line. "Very well, I'll be on my way then." before heading back to his planet, only for an uninvited guest to be waiting for them, Shin, the Supreme Kai of Universe 7.

Shin was surprised that he was meeting a complete stranger, and said, "You're not Lord Beerus, who are you?"

Kakarot explained the situation and asked him, "If you're the Supreme Kai of Universe 7, we'll be meeting fairly often. But you came here for a reason. What is it?"

Shin told him, "An evil wizard named Babidi has released an ancient terror upon the universe, the incarnation of mortal evil, Majin Buu. Years ago, he killed the other five Kais, I'm the only one who survived, but I'm not strong enough to defeat him myself. I came to request Lord Beerus's assistance, but I suppose I'm now requesting your help Lord Kakarot."

Kakarot nodded, "Such a threat to Universe 7 cannot be allowed to go unpunished. Whis, where is Majin Buu and this stupid wizard?"

Whis checked his staff and said, "They're not that far away, only 10 light years away from your planet my lord."

Kakarot smiled, "Then let's be on our way." before holding on to Whis's shoulder as they left to meet Buu and Babidi. When he saw Buu, he could sense the Grand Supreme Kai and South Supreme Kai within his body, and dashed at the glob of pink flesh, easily knocking him out cold and proceeded to retrieve the two gods.

As Babidi watched shocked, he said, "Hey! Who do you think you are opposing the great and powerful-" before he could finish his grand speech, Kakarot sent a Hakai his way, destroying him instantly. After he had gotten the two Kais out of Buu, the pink gum-like fighter turned to his true form. "Perhaps I could have a bit of fun with this."

As the two warriors fought, Buu was able to learn as he did. Of course, Kakarot was holding back by a large scale. Eventually, Kakarot said, "I think that's enough fun, time to end this." before launching a Hakai to destroy Buu.

As Kakarot finished destroying Buu, the Grand Supreme Kai thanked him, "Thank you so much for freeing us from that pink menace. I've never seen a fighter such as you within all my years watching over Universe 7."

Kakarot bowed respectfully and said, "It was nothing. But we should get to work in order to fix the damage done to our Universe by Frieza and Buu. I shall return to my planet for now. Farewell." before bowing respectfully and heading back to his planet, where Shin was still waiting for them and told him, "Buu has been destroyed. And I was able to rescue the Grand Supreme Kai and South Supreme Kai from inside him."

Shin was shocked to hear that Kakarot had not only defeated Buu, but rescued two Supreme Kais who he had assumed were dead. He smiled, "Thank you Lord Kakarot. I suppose I should return to the Planet of the Kais in order to start repairing the damage done by Buu. It was an honor to meet you."

Kakarot smiled, "The feeling is mutual. But if you'll excuse me, I must return to my training."

And so, within only a few months as Universe 7's new God of Destruction, Kakarot has dispatched and destroyed two massive threats to the mortals of Universe 7. Frieza's forces are scattered across the universe, looking for someone to turn to. And with Buu's destruction, Universe 7 has been freed from the terror of the incarnation of mortal evil. But this is only the beginning for the new God of Destruction. There are still dangerous threats that lurk within Universe 7, and Kakarot will need to face them to keep his Universe safe.
