Haggar's Fortune part 2

Shortly after getting away from the mercenaries and getting back to the plane and flying off, Haggar had landed their plane, deep in the night in Lima in order to refuel for the long trip to the island. The next morning, as the sun wasn't yet fully up, Haggar was busy outside to get some fuel for Ezor's seaplane, while Katie and Allura waited at one of the airport's bars, drinking coffee. After finishing their coffee, Katie started telling Allura how he ended up with Haggar and Ezor, who sadly died by the hands of Lotor.

"Okay, it all happened three years ago. I was attending the Ottawa university, studying archeology. One day, when I was doing my studies in the library until nighttime, I 'accidentally' overheard a conversation between the college director and a few men I hadn't seen before, talking about how business was going more smoothly thanks to the college director. So, I started some digging. And by digging, I mean 'illegally' hacking into the college director's computer." Hearing that Katie had hacked into the college director's computer surprised Allura while Katie told further. "There, I discovered that those men were using the university as a safe haven for money laundering and that that old bag of a director knew about it. Heck! He was personally involved in it!"

Hearing how Katie was able to find something like that out, impressed the Altean journalist and reporter. "Jesus. So... what did you do? Did you go to the police?"

That was when Katie scratched her head and stated. "That was my first intention, yes. However... the college director was one step ahead of me. Instead, he called the police and framed me for stealing answers for the upcoming exams. And no one believed me... well, except one of my classmates, Lance. He's a kind guy when you get to know him." Thinking about her former classmate Lance made Katie blush, as she had a crush on him in college.

Seeing Katie's embarrassment made Allura laugh. "Hahahaha! By the looks of it, you liked him a lot, didn't you?"

Katie laughed nervously, while blushing deep red. "You...might say that."

Then Allura asked, after her laughing had died out. "What happened then, after you were arrested."

Katie sighed as told further. "Well, after I was locked up in the police station, that was when I met Ezor and Haggar, who somehow broke into the police station to get in touch with me. Clearly they had heard somehow about my excellent grades on archeology, especially on native-Canadian culture. So, they asked me for my help to claim a native-Canadian treasure. I first doubted them, but then Haggar told me that they had some valuable information on the college director that could clear my name. Seeing no other option to prove my innocence, I took their offer. They broke my out of the police station and we all headed deep into the Canadian wilderness. It took some days to find it, but thanks to me, we were able to reach our target. However, we weren't the only ones after that native treasure."

That was what really got Allura interested. "Who? Who else was after that native-Canadian treasure?" She asked.

Katie answered by saying. "Some rival treasure hunters that caused some trouble for Haggar and Ezor before. We were captured and locked away somewhere. I was scared, but thankfully, Ezor and Haggar knew how to escape, so they used their..." Katie cleared her throat because how embarrassing that moment was for her. "Their bodies to seduce the guards, who were a bunch of male perverted pigs who just wanted to get inside their private areas, before killing them and getting us the heck out of there. We ran and ran while bullets fired all around us! But Haggar, man, she was a tough one when it came to martial arts. Those guys never even knew what hit them when she started showing her skills."

Katie's growing enthusiasm of what happened made Allura chuckle, but hearing about Haggar's fighting ability made her nod, as she had seen her in action when she and Haggar were attacked by pirates back in Panama.

Katie then continued telling her story. "We were nearly surrounded, but then, in an act of full adrenaline, I grabbed a machine gun from a dead guard and shot all seventeen of them!"

That sure surprised Allura, hearing how Kaite shot and killed seventeen men without any gun experience whatsoever. "Wow..." Was all she could say.

Katie nodded in pride as she remembered that moment. "You bet it was. Of course after we were safe, I was a little shook up because those pirates were the first people that I ever killed. But Haggar and Ezor helped me through it, as they felt the same way when they first killed someone. Told me that it would take a lot of time and therapy to get me through it, so they became my personal therapists since it would save lots of time and money to get a professional, the latter of which I didn't have and neither did Haggar or Ezor."

"Then what? What happened after that?" Allura asked, wanting to hear how the story ended.

"Well, after some more sharing of bullets, we were able to take the native-Canadian treasure and escaped the compound. So, when we returned to Ottawa, Haggar and Ezor provided me the evidence I needed. That college director, along with his associates, were arrested and put away to serve 25 to life in prison while my name was cleared."

Allura smiled while folding her arms. "Wow. That's a hell of a story there, Katie Holt. But, I can already guess that you decided to stay with Haggar and Ezor?"

Katie nodded. "You bet."

"But why? What made you decide to just drop out of college and just throw yourself into a world of dangerous treasure hunting?" Allura wondered, wanting to know how a bright girl like Katie would just drop out of getting a degree in college and go with Haggar and Ezor when they were clearly in a dangerous line of business.

"It was the sense of adventure, Allura." Katie answered. "The excitement and the thrill. Why would I spend my years on boring books and essays and doing something that would eventually just get boring in a few years when there is a whole world out there with untold history and forgotten treasures just waiting to be explored? Plus, Haggar and Ezor became quite fond of me and were very impressed with what I could do. When they finished helping me recover from the shock of killing those pirates, they told me that I could just go back to college and just live my life, but I wanted to stay with them... because I grew fond of them, too."

Allura shrugged, seeing Katie's point of view. "I guess you have a point. And what about your classmate, Lance? What happened to him?"

Asking about Katie's secret crush made Katie blush again, but she honestly answered. "He stayed at the college, and finished it. Last thing I heard about him is that he's now in Greece. Had something to do with the ancient Greeks from back in the day. We still talk, well… by talk, I mean we email from time to time, asking how we are and what we're doing, though I mostly stay quiet about what I'm doing for obvious reasons. Still, I hope we'll see each other again someday."

Just then, Haggar walked into the bar, telling them both. "Hey, the plane is fueled up and ready. Let's go."

Both Katie and Allura nodded to Haggar. "We're coming." Allura said while paying for their drinks and going out of the bar with Katie and Haggar.

As they walked to the plane, Allura was lost in her thoughts of how it must have felt for Katie and how exciting her life had turned out, as she claimed it had. Allura figured that some of those adventures that the three treasure hunters had would make a great story, along with Haggar's and Ezor's past adventures before meeting Katie. Allura then glanced at Haggar, admiring her at how brave she was. She then suddenly started to imagine Haggar seducing a guard with her body. Allura didn't know why, but she was feeling warm in her body for even imagining Haggar doing that to someone... or maybe even... seducing her. Allura shook her head, trying to get those thoughts out of her mind while she stepped inside Ezor's seaplane.

Haggar started the engines and after a few minutes, they were up in the air, heading towards their destination. "Ezor, this is for you." The Altean treasure hunter thought to herself.

Several hours later

Haggar, Allura and Katie flew over the ocean until they had the island in sight. While they were getting close, Allura was making more footage with her camera. "We're on the trail of the lost treasure of El Dorado, and it's brought us here, to this tiny island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean" Allura told the people that would watch her show while focusing the camera to Haggar and Katie first before turning it to the island on the horizon.

Haggar then said, as Allura pointed the camera to the Altean treasure hunter. "Let's get a closer look... and hope we're the first ones here."

Allura then turned the camera, recording herself and the two treasure hunters, saying to keep the excitement going for her show and the people that would watch it. "Will we discover the ruins of a forgotten colony and a fortune in Spanish gold? Or does the island have darker secrets in store for us?" Before she then turned off the camera while saying to Haggar. "That should keep 'em from changing the channel."

Haggar just shrugged, not really minding what Allura hoped to achieve on this journey besides the story.

Then all of the sudden, the plane shook as some blasts almost hit it. Shocked, Allura asked. "Whoa! What the hell was that?!"

That was when more blasts were hitting the plane. "Is that... Anti-aircraft fire?!" Haggar asked, while trying to avoid being hit. This was something that made Haggar really frustrated. "This is so not cool! Katie, hang on!" The Altean treasure hunter called out to her human friend, wanting her to brace herself. Which she did as she tied her seatbelt on.

For over a minute, Haggar tried as best she could to avoid the AA guns, while Allura kept filming. "We're being shot! We don't know who but-" Then suddenly, one of the plane's engines caught fire. Allura points her camera at it. "Oh, crap! We're on fire!"

As Allura then zoomed in on Haggar's face, she looked at the Altean reporter very seriously. "Knock it off with the damn camera! We gotta bail out!"

This got Allura wide eyed as she turned off the camera. "Bail out? Does this thing even have parachutes?!"

Haggar called back to Katie. "Katie, check if we got some parachutes!"

Katie nodded as she left her seat and searched the rear of the plane before another explosion rocked the plane again, nearly knocking her to the floor!

Haggar did all she could to keep the plane in the air, but it became harder and harder because of the blasts. "Fuck! I'm losing altitude!"

Luckily, Kaite managed to find three parachutes before she scrambled back to the cockpit, giving one parachute to Allura. "Here. I hope these things still work." She said, hoping these old parachutes of Ezor's still worked.

"Well, we'll find that out in a second." Haggar called while pressing some buttons.

Allura breathed heavily while she put her parachute on and asked. "Have you guys ever done this before?!"

Just as Katie wanted to shake her head, Haggar said. "Of course - you just jump, count to five, and pull the cord! Now go!"

Allura nodded and quickly took the camera. But she and Katie were worried for Haggar, so Allura asked in near panic. "Are you coming?!"

Haggar kept her head cool, while ensuring Allura. "Don't worry about me! Go! Now!"

Katie grabbed Allura's arm. "C'mon, Allura!"

Both stumbled to the back of the plane to the rear door. Allura looked down at the island below. Just as she was about to jump first, she looked at Haggar one more time, still worried about her. "We'll see you on the ground?"

Haggar nodded back at her. "Right behind ya!"

Allura wasn't sure, but jumped out of the plane anyway. "Aaaaaghhhh!" She screamed before she opened her parachute!

Katie did as well. "Geronimoooooo!" She yelled out before she opened her parachute too!

Haggar held the steering wheel as straight as she could, hoping that it would hold "Okay, this'll do. Now to get out of this thing." Before she got out of her chair and picked up her parachute, heading to the rear door before she was knocked to the floor by another explosion! She got up, struggling to get her parachute on, but managed to do so and said to herself. "Okay - you just jump... count to five and you pull the cord. Piece of cake..." But as she looked down at the island below, her eyes went wide. "Oh fuck me!" She cursed before she jumped out of the plane. "Aaaagghh! Onetwothreefourfive!" She yelled fast before she pulled the cord and opened her parachute, but there was a hole in the parachute, sending her crashing to the ground faster than she wanted. "OH FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK. FUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!" Then... everything went black for Haggar.

After some time

Haggar woke up, shielding her eyes from the sun. She looked up and saw a dark statue looming over her, making her startled! But then signed in relief that it was just an angel statue. Haggar looked up and saw that her parachute had somehow caught on the wing of the angel statue. "Geez... talk about Divine protection." She said to herself, before unbuckling the parachute and dropping down to the ground.

Haggar looked around and checked her pockets, feeling that she still got the gun, but... she didn't have the map. "Oh fuck." She said, irritated of how stupid she was, but then she realized that Katie had the map. "Oh right. Katie has it... I hope." She finished with a worried look, as she saw in the distance smoke rising up from the trees.

As the Altean treasure hunter made her way through the jungle, again she was talking to herself. "Great. Just fucking great. Strangers trying to kill me. Allura and Katie are missing, most likely dead. That's great. Great start, Haggar Drake. Okay... I gotta find Katie first."

The Altean treasure hunter then found a locked gate and shot the lock before kicking the worn out gate down and going through the jungle, coming to a rushing river, getting a drink to stay a little hydrated before getting to a ledge and climbing it before going across a log to a ledge that had some kind of ancient ruin as she saw three pirates coming down a cliff from the other side. "Oh fuck. Here come more of those pigs." Haggar said with annoyance before she carefully shot the pirates in the head, killing them before she got to the other side of the other log and climbing up a vine to the ledge where a fourth pirate was waiting. Haggar quickly got to him and swapped her left leg to trip him and snapped his neck as he fell to the ground.

The Altean treasure hunter then spotted some grenades on a nearby crate and grabbed them both. "These will come in handy." She said with a smirk before continuing further, killing three more pirates with her gun before continuing on and getting to a ledge that had some kind of ancient ruins.

Haggar spotted Katie's parachute in one of the trees. "Hey. That's got to be Katie's. But where is she?" Then she spotted some pirates. Thinking that those assholes may have taken Katie, she shot at them after she jumped down and used the ruin with hand holds to get to the ground. "If you guys have laid one finger on Katie!" The pirates didn't even know what hit them, and were all shot dead after a few minutes of spraying bullets!

"Katie?! KATIE?!" Haggar called, hoping she could hear her.

Then she heard some noises from some of the bushes. Instantly Haggar aimed her gun at it, but then saw two hands raised from the bushes. "Don't shoot! Don't shoot! It's me." Before Katie showed herself, after disposing of some big leaves she used for camouflage.

Haggar ran up to her human friend and embraced her. "Oh, Katie! I was so worried about you. Are you okay?"

Katie nodded after they broke the hug. "Yeah, I'm okay. I hid myself when I saw those pirates, hoping to see you soon."

Haggar smiled and rubbed Katie's hair. "Good thing you did." But then she asked. "Please tell me you got Drake's map?"

Katie nodded again and took the map out of her pocket and handled it over to Haggar. "Yeah, yeah. I got it right here."

Haggar took it and put the map in her pocket. "Sweet! Let's get out of here and look for Allura."

"Yeah, good plan." Katie said while taking one of the dead pirates' guns as Haggar took some ammo for hers.

"All right, Katie. Hope you remember the climbing lessons Ezor and I taught you, 'cause I have a feeling that there's going to be a lot of it from here on out." Haggar reminded her human friend.

"I remember. Don't worry, Haggar, I can handle it. I had two great teachers." Katie said with a smile before thinking about Allura. "I just hope Allura's all right."

"Me too, Katie." Haggar said with equal concern before they climbed up on the nearby ruin and got to the ledge where another gate was. After getting a few grenades from a nearby crate and giving them to Katie, they saw pirates on the other side of the gate and shot them in the head through the gaps in the bars before Haggar kicked the gate down.

After killing a few more pirates, Haggar and Katie went through another doorway and killed a few more pirates by using a few of their grenades and when they were dealt with, they climbed up on the ruins and jumped through them until they got above a gateway and jumped down.

After going further and finding more ruins, they took out some more pirates and grabbed their ammo as Katie grabbed a shotgun before they went further through the ruins and found a waterfall area. They then went right and jumped to grip handles and quickly made their way through them and some ledges before getting to a large part of the broken bridge and after shooting two more pirates on the high cliff, made their way through more grip handles as the second one started to crumble and they made their way around the side where they eventually ended up on a second part of the broken bridge and jumped on a platform near the waterfall, half of which began to collapse before they quickly jumped to the other platform and more grip handles as a truck drove up with a trigger-happy pirate inside, who then started shooting at Haggar and Katie before the Altean treasure hunter shot the powder keg on the back of it, sending the truck and the pirate flying in an explosion!

The truck fell between two rocks, making a sort of bridge for them before they both quickly crossed it and when they jumped on steadier ground, two more pirates shit at them but Haggar carefully aimed at them and shit them both in the head before she and Katie jumped from rock to rock until they were on land again, going around a corner and jumped on a tree trunk, balancing their way across before they climbed up two vines, getting up to an upper ledge.

Haggar then spotted half of Ezor's plane stuck in a tree. "Oh, man..."

Katie nodded after seeing the half broken plane as well. "Yeah... good thing we bailed out, huh?"

"Yeah. But if Ezor were here, she'd no doubt be pissed at us for getting her plane shot down and wrecked up like this." Haggar said with humor and sadness as she thought of her mentor/big sister.

"Yeah. But don't worry, Haggar. We're gonna make that asshole Lotor wish he'd never been born when we see him again. For Ezor." Katie said with determination to avenge Ezor.

But just then, Haggar spotted more pirates standing around the other half of the plane, which was stuck in another tree. "Oh great, more of those damn perverted pirates!" She said with anger before she and Katie began sharing bullets with the pirates, while also dodging their grenades and throwing their own right back at them!

Once the pirates were all dead and Haggar and Katie got more ammo for their guns, while also switching weapons from the dead pirates when their other ones were completely out of ammo, the two treasure hunters got through the next ruined doorway, while grabbing some extra grenades while they were at it.

Just as Haggar and Katie were about to go further, a pirate suddenly appeared before them with a loaded AK-47. "Hahaha, I got you bitches right where-" But then, the pirate accidentally triggered a trap and got impaled on a spike, killing him!

"Jesus!" Katie yelled as the guard was suddenly killed by a trap.

"We... better watch where we're going, Katie." Haggar suggested, thinking that there were more traps around the island.

Katie nodded. "Y-yeah." While they continued, they spotted an old fortress in the distance. "Hey, look Haggar! That must be the old fortress of the island, just like on the map."

Haggar nodded. "Yeah." But then she saw another parachute, stuck on one of the destroyed towers of the fortress. Haggar was shocked, believing that Allura had got captured. "Oh, no. Allura."

Katie noticed the parachute too, thinking only the worse for their new Altean friend. 'Oh Allura, I hope nothing's happened to you. I'm beginning to like you as a friend.'

Haggar suddenly ran faster, hoping that nothing bad had happened to Allura. "C'mon, Katie! We gotta hurry!" Before she glanced at the fortress one more time, mentally praying. 'Hang on, Allura. We're coming.'

As the two treasure hunters through the side of the cliff and jumped on ledges that crumbled, they dropped down to another ledge and Haggar sneaked up behind two pirates and snapped their necks before she and Katie saw that there was a pile of traps in the area, which they used to their advantage as they shot more pirates, impaling them on some of the traps while using some of their grenades to deal with the rest! After they were all dead, Haggar and Katie quickly used their pistols to spring the rest of the traps so they wouldn't have to worry about them before they got to the wall of the old fortress.

"Oh you've gotta be kidding me." Haggar said with annoyance before she and Katie climbed through the grip handles and swung on a couple of hanging ropes before getting into the tower through a ruined window before jumping to the one on the other side and hung down from it before getting past more hand grips and ropes, while also quickly moving through the ones that crumbled until they got to another vine below a barred window and Haggar busted through it, getting inside before Katie joined her Altean friend.

After getting some grenades and a Micro-9mm from a nearby crate, the two treasure hunters made their way through the fortress walls, finding more pirates and shooting bullets at them while taking cover to avoid their gunfire and even a minivan until they were all dead.

After getting past the broken stone on the upper levels, Haggar and Katie finally reached where Allura parachute was flailing about from a rock, but there was no sign of their new Altean friend. "No sign of her... that's either very good, or very bad." Haggar stated worriedly, while hoping Allura was okay.

Katie then got an idea, as a long line was tied between where Allura's parachute was and a radio inside a guard tower. "Hey, Haggar, I got an idea. Pull me up."

Haggar seemed to understand what Katie was planning and helped her up to reach the long line. "Be careful, Katie." Haggar advised her human friend.

"I will. Don't worry." Katie said before she then used her gun to zipline and dropped down into the guard tower. She looked through the barred windows and saw Allura crossing the fortress, making more recordings with her camera. "Allura. What the hell's she doing?"

When Allura then ran off, Katie looked down into the courtyard below and saw a guard standing behind a barred iron gate. Katie wondered something and spoke into the microphone on the table. "A-low?"

The guard had received that and spoke into his walkie-talkie. "Ha-low?"

Katie then cleared her throat, trying to impersonate the accent that the pirates spoke. "Buka pintu."

Confused, the guard asked. "Siapa ini? Bicara sekarang!"

Katie tried something else. "Sialan lo! Cepatan, buka pintu!"

The guard then saw Katie and hurried off for a moment. "Ah, tai!" Before the gate then started to open.

Katie proudly laughed. "Hahahaha. Can't believe that that worked."

However, her smile faded when four armed guards ran out into the courtyard. "There is one of them! Up there!"

"Get on the gun!" Another called, running to the machine gun.

Seeing that Katie had screwed it up made her go pale. "Oh crap!"

That was when Haggar, who had joined Katie, shot the lock on the tower gate and kicked it down before the both got into a gunfight with the pirates, using the barrels to their advantage to kill them, with Katie throwing a grenade at the machine gun pirate, killing him last!

"Hey, Haggar, sorry about screwing that up. Guess I'm not really good at imitation, huh?" Katie said apologetic about screwing that up and getting them into another gunfight.

Haggar smiled and rubbed Katie's hair. "It's all right, Katie. Could've happened to me, too. But on the bright side, less pirates to worry about and the gate's open. So, it's not a total loss." She said, making Katie smile before she hugged her Altean friend.

Once they were inside, Haggar and Katie were shot at by a pirate on a turret gun. They took cover behind walls and when he was reloading, they kept moving down the hall and eventually reached a point where Haggar aimec at an exploding barrel right behind him and took the whole ledge out. After finding some weapons that they could use, Haggar and Katie headed back to the ledge and went up into the next room, where a small army of pirates ambushed them. Katie used her M79 grenade launcher to kill some of the pirates while making every shot count before she used her Ak-47 while Haggar gave her cover by blasting the pirates with her pistol while using some of her deadly technique in martial arts she'd learned from great masters years ago.

When the pirates were all dead, Haggar and Katie went to the crumbled block that got them up to the catwalk and from there, they jumped and grabbed a mini-scaffold surrounding a pillar on the way to the door and Katie lifted the grating, opening the gate in front of them before getting into a room filled with water. Once they saw a ruined staircase, they knew that the room would have to be filled up more, so while Haggar went left and climbed up on the ledge before operating the grating, releasing more water into the room that floated Katie up a bit before she swam to the right and got to the other ledge before operating the other grating, filling the room up enough for them to reach the staircase. Once they were back in the water, they swam to the staircase and went up to the next level.

They got through the 1st hall but didn't see Allura anywhere. "Jesus, Allura, where are you?" Haggar asked, wondering where the Altean reporter/journalist had gone to.

"She probably knows that she can't stay in 1 place for too long and let those pirate bastards get to her. For a reporter, she really knows how to adapt, doesn't she? Just like you did when you first got into the business." Katie said with admiration for the Altean reporter. "You and her would make a great couple, you know. She's got your sense of humor and she's a natural with guns."

"Sure is, but I doubt that she'd ever fall for an Altean Thief like me. We may be treasure hunters, Katie but this life is mostly about thieving, moving around the globe while staying in very shity hotels and having the worst scumbags in the whole damn world on your ass. This is exactly why me and Ezor wanted you to go back to college and live the life you wanted before we met you. You could've graduated and went with that Lance guy you email from time to time and possibly even married him in the future, without having to move around and have the lowest scum of the earth like Lotor trying to kill you."

"Oh Haggar, don't give me any of that regretting life choices crap. I told you and Ezor when I came to you and her in your hotel room the night before you guys left Ottawa that I was going to stay with you because this is what I wanted. I'd already made up my mind when you saw my luggage that I brought with me and I'd talked to Lance as well the day before, and he understood. So what if my life is put in danger every day, that just makes it more exciting, and so does the thrill of adventure. Besides, the main reason I chose this life was because I grew so fond of Ezor and you that I couldn't take the chance of possibly never seeing you both again."

Haggar knew that Katie had a good point and knew that no matter how much she and Ezor tried to convince Katie to go back to college and live her life like a normal person, her mind had been made up and there was absolutely nothing that could have changed it, as she thought that a normal life really wasn't for her. Just as she learned many years ago.

So, with a smile, she rubbed her human friend's hair. "I know, Katie. But we can't stay here anymore than we already have. Let's go." She said before they advanced further, getting outside and seeing a giant tower in the distance. "Huh, hold on a minute."

"Yeah. I see it, too." Katie said while she and Haggar looked at the map, seeing the same tower on it. "What's so special about that tower?"

But that was when more pirates shot at them, angering Haggar. "Son of a bitch, these fucking pirates!" She said before she and Katie took cover and started firing back, being careful to avoid the gunfire and grenades from the pirates, on the ground and up on the wall on the right until they were all dead.

Once they got more ammo, they went to the top of the wall and killed the few pirates on it before they got to the grating and Katie operated it, opening the gate below them on their left before they jumped down and went through the gate, going to an entrance on the far left and finding a door with a symbol on it.

Haggar looked at her ancestor's map and saw that the same symbol was on the same spot on the map as the tower. "Hmm...same symbol...but what's it got to do with that tower?"

"Maybe it means we gotta find a key to unlock the door. And find the key... obviously." Katie answered.

"Obviously. Let's go find that key." Haggar said before they went back outside and Haggar got an idea and climbed up the pillars before getting to a rope and swinging on it to kick the biggest ruined pillar down, which worked but she ended up falling off the rope and almost got crushed by a rock holder if Katie hadn't saved her Altean friend. "Thanks, Katie."

"No problem." Katie said with a smile.

They climbed up on the made staircase and got to the wall before they headed left to a windowsill and used the grip holds to get to the top of the wall and got to a platform that collapsed when they took another couple steps, so they quickly jumped and latched onto the tower's wall before going up and around to a window and found a skeleton with a pair of keys.

Haggar was disgusted but grabbed the keys and pushed the rope and the skeleton down. "Ew... disgusting, but thanks for the keys." She said, making Katie laugh a bit before they slid down the rope and went back to the door, unlocking it and getting some grenades and weapons before getting on an open area where they had another gunfight with more pirates, including 1 on a torrent gun. As Katie got out her reloaded M79 grenade launcher, she fired it and killed the pirate on the torrent gun as Haggar killed the last of the pirates before they got more ammo and went to the grating on the far back and opened the gate next to it before going through it and going up the stairs and into the hallway before they killed a few more pirates. Once they were dealt with, Haggar saw more pirates coming from where she and Katie were a few minutes ago.

Katie then got on the torrent gun. "My turn, assholes!" She said before killing the pirates with the torrent gun until they were all dealt with.

As Haggar and Katie reached another room, Katie walked over to a wooden table with a sword, a gun and a helmet and inspected them. "Hmm... these aren't Spanish, they're English."

"Hey Katie, check this out." Haggar called to her human friend as she used the floodlight to shine on the drawing of a map on the wall.

"Whoa." Katie said in amazement.

Haggar read what the message on the wall said. "Fletcher, we have gone to the great tower. I pray that you will meet us there. Francis Drake... Wow... so my ancestor made it... but what was he plotting?" She wondered.

But their moment was disturbed when a guard appeared. "HEY-!" But Haggar quickly shot him in the head, killing him.

They then went to the stairs and went to the other entrance, getting outside before they saw another tower in the distance. "That must be my ancestor's tower."

"And if we're right, Allura must be there." Katie added, thinking that the Altean reporter must have gone there.

"I hope so." Haggar said with concern for Allura before more pirates appeared. Haggar and Katie quickly dealt with them and went into the hallway on the left side and up the broken stairs and climbed the nearby pillar to get to the wall above them before going right and used the grip holds to get to the windowsill before getting inside and heading up the stairs, getting to the balcony section of the tower.

Haggar became more worried as they still didn't find Allura. "Where'd she go? I just hope she's okay."

Katie ensured her Altean friend by patting her on the back gently. "Don't worry, Haggar. We'll find her."

As they made it to the top of the tower, Haggar saw an old telescope on a nearby table. "This must've been Drake's." Before she picked it up and walked out onto the balcony, looking through the telescope to see what was in the distance. "So what were you looking for, my great ancestor, hm?" She asked before she spotted an orange-domed building, next to the old harbor. Haggar recognized the building from the Spanish coin she found in the German U-boat back in the Amazon. "Well now, that looks familiar." Then she saw many sunken ships in the harbor, making her theorize. "Huh. The ships never left." Then, as Haggar looked down to the cliffside on the edge of the island, her eyes went wide as she spotted Allura, looking out to the sea with her camera. "Allura!"

But then sees two pirates down below, who also had spotted Allura. "Hey, there she is." One of them said before he then aimed at Allura with a grenade launcher.

Haggar's anger grew as she drew her gun. "Oh no you don't!" Before she shot the guard with the grenade launcher in the head, shocking the other who grabbed the grenade launcher and aimed at Haggar and Katie. "Oh crap!" And as the grenade was fired on them, both Haggar and Katie were sent flying backwards as the balcony crumbled. Both women lied unconscious on the floor.

Allura had heard the explosion behind her and looked shocked that she was nearly shot and ran to safety. After a while, she was horrified as she spotted Haggar and Katie, unconscious and being dragged out of the tower, while the other pirates laughed.

"Hahahaha! Lock them up in the prison and tell the boss we got them." The other guards nodded, though some disappointed as they were ready to have some 'fun' with their captive females, but did as they were ordered.

Allura then knew that she had to help her treasure hunter friends. But how?
