Nature Run

Tarrywile Park, Danbury, Connecticut

"Man, how long does this trail go?" Yoh asked, complaining.

"Just around the whole pond, then we'll hit the Hayfield and back to the silo." Ruby replied.

"Can't believe we're doing this…" Percy muttered.

Jogging just about a quarter of Parks Pond (white trail) at the wondrous Tarrywile Park, a large municipal park in the city of Danbury, Connecticut were Naruto, Luffy, Blizzard, Kouga, Sonic, Natsu and Happy (though he's flying and not enjoying the run), Yoh, Manta, Korra, Hinata, Ichigo, Maka, Soul, Eren, Kuroko, Alphen, Pan, Ruby, Izuku, Asta, Tanjiro, Nagisa and Blue. Accompanying them were Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruro, Roronoa Zoro, Vinsmoke Sanji, Orion Eden, Lionet Souma, Miles "Tails" Prower and Knuckles the Echidna.

Sasuke and Zoro weren't even keen on coming along, the two thought of it as a waste of time. But Sakura and Sanji demanded the two come and they wouldn't dare invoke Sakura's wrath while not listening to the chef's complaints.

The thirty-two of them continued traversing through the white trail near Parks Pond in the entire circle, moving through the bump dirty road and large rocks in the pathway, crossing the small bridge that leads the path to the blue trail, eventually going through the same path as the second quarter of the entire white trail, making it out of the white trail forest to see the Hayfields. They all stopped to take a quick breather before starting again near the Hayfield.

"Sweet large field at last!" Natsu hollered.

"It's Hayfield, you idiot." Sasuke said.

"What?!" Natsu exclaimed.

"Don't ruin the moment, you jerk!" Asta hollered.

"Enjoy the moment!" Hinata hollered.

Sasuke scoffed.

"This jog was excellent for my muscles!" Knuckles hollered.

"Don't have to be loud about it." Tails said, covering his ears out of mild annoyance.

"What's not to be loud about the outdoors?" Knuckles asked.

"And to enjoy the big beautiful forest! Nature's my calling." Sonic explained.

"Race you guys around the field!" Kouga hollered, making a B-Line for the sign post near the humungous green water tank before going to the direction right next to the hayfield.

"You got a head start, you cheater!" Souma hollered, running after his best friend.

"You forget, Kouga! I always beat you in every race!" Sonic hollered, already running faster than Mach 1 to beat his newest speed rival.

"Wait for us!" Naruto, Luffy, Natsu, Hinata, Eren, Ruby, Asta and Knuckles hollered in unison, giving chase to the three idiots.

"Don't leave me hanging!" Happy hollered, flying after those who recklessly rushed around the Hayfield.

Sasuke, Sakura, Zoro, Sanji, Eden, Tails, Yoh, Korra, Ichigo, Maka, Soul, Kuroko, Alphen, Izuku, Tanjiro, Nagisa, Manta, Blizzard, Pan and Blue were deadpanned.

"Those morons…" Sasuke, Sakura, Zoro, Sanji, Eden, Korra, Ichigo, Maka, Soul, Blizzard, Pan and Blue thought in unison.

"They can go overboard… a lot…" Tails, Yoh, Manta, Kuroko, Alphen, Izuku, Tanjiro and Nagisa thought in unison.

Naruto, Luffy, Kouga, Sonic, Natsu, Hinata, Eren, Ruby, Asta, Souma and Knuckles continued raging like madmen (mad-woman in Ruby's case) as they raced wildly across the entire Hayfield down to the silo near the Red Barn Environmental Center, cutting through the parking lot and straight to Tarrywile Mansion. Happy chased after them by flying to have a clear advantage.

But the clear winner reaching the driveway near entrance, was Sonic while surprisingly Naruto, Luffy, Kouga, Souma, Natsu, Happy, Hinata, Eren, Asta and Knuckles were all tuckered out.

"Looks like I win… again!" Sonic declared, not breaking a sweat.

"Don't have to rub in our faces!" Knuckles hollered.

"You… IDIOTS!" Sakura shouted, appearing out of nowhere as she kicked Sonic with a dive bomb kick as the blue hedgehog was flung into the driveway further, frightening the others who ran with said hedgehog.

Sasuke, Sanji, Eden, Tails, Yoh, Korra, Ichigo, Maka, Soul, Kuroko, Alphen, Izuku, Tanjiro, Nagisa, Manta, Blizzard, Pan and Blue just showed up in time, now out of breath themselves from the heavy running to keep up.

"W-Wait, Sakura-chan! Give us a chance to explain!" Naruto hollered.

"L-Let's talk peacefully!" Kouga hollered.

"Too late for that." Sakura said, cracking her knuckles as she, alongside a now furious Maka doing the same gesture, slowly walked towards Naruto, Luffy, Kouga, Natsu, Hinata, Eren, Ruby, Asta, Souma and Knuckles; the 10 held onto each other in fright.

A few seconds later, Naruto, Luffy, Kouga, Sonic, Natsu, Hinata, Eren, Ruby, Asta, Souma and Knuckles were all beaten up and knocked out.

Sakura and Maka dusted their hands off while Sasuke, Sanji, Eden, Tails, Yoh, Korra, Ichigo, Soul, Kuroko, Alphen, Izuku, Tanjiro, Nagisa, Manta, Blizzard, Pan and Blue did their after-stretches to avoid any muscle sprains from the running.

"You guys really got us running hard." Ichigo said, stretching his arms in circles.

"At least we got a good run out of it." Tanjiro said, doing a lunge with his right leg bent with his left leg stretched back and firmly on the ground.

"But it happened thanks to Kouga, Souma and Sonic." Eden said, looking at his fellow Bronze Saints and the Blue Blur still knocked out.

While the competitive nature of Naruto, Luffy, Kouga, Sonic, Natsu, Hinata, Eren, Ruby, Asta, Souma and Knuckles killed the relaxing mood of the exercise, it was still fun for everyone to get out and run in nature.

BONUS SCENE

In midst the chaos, Zoro accidentally ended up getting lost from the ground and ended near the orange trail.

"Idiots. They got lost again." Zoro said, not seeing the total irony of his lack of direction.

Going to Tarrywile Park is always a good way to get out and have fun in the summer for walking and exploring nature. Shame rivalries can ruin the fun if they get too carried away with running a lot.
