what if when V fused back with Vergil in the final battle of DMC a small part of him that didn't really want to go back to being Vergil and wanted to live its own life broke off unknowingly to the others and was reincarnated as a human boy in the highschool dxd universe overtime unlocking abilities and skills from his past life

requirements

1. he has to have the kind mysterious and poetic personality of his last life and be a top student at the academy

2. he has to at least have remnants of his friends he can use being griffin now a demonic revolver that can shoot various spells and elements, shadow a shapeshifting weapon that can take various shadowy forms ( whips, blades, axes, staffs, clubs, etc.), and nightmare being a powerful armor enhancing his physical abilities

3. harem ( i mean its highschool dxd what did you expect plus with V's personality I'd imagine girls would be lining up)

4. he has to have a sacred gear and become a devil

optional

1. the strange properties of the cain he used in his past life have fused with his sacred gear enhancing it in odd ways

2. he takes Issei's place if so then he has the boosted gear

3. his past life's connection to Vergil mutated his new devil biology in various ways
