Hope's Peak Academy

9:30 A.M.

Jin's POV

1 day before the meeting...

8 days before school starts back up...

...

...

How long do I usually spend here at this academy, searching for an idea or anything to make this place more than it already is?

Am I spending too much time, or am I not spending enough time here at this academy? Obviously, I'm the headmaster, so I should be spending much time here. And yet, it feels like I just started this job a day ago. I can thank Koichi for that, even though he never usually does his job most of the time, but I'll let it slide since he's teaching Class 78 as of now.

If I'm correct, today will make it almost a week before school opens again, and tomorrow will be the mandatory meeting between the candidates that they picked out. And there were many, including, Ruruka, Seiko, Sonosuke, Chiaki, Sakura, Nekomaru, Makoto, and Kyoko, just to name a few. Hell, even the higher-ups will be at this meeting, so it will be very important for them to act mature and take it a bit more seriously. But really, what was Chisa thinking choosing Riki to be one of the candidates? She knows his opinion likely won't matter to them since he's a Reserve Course student. And yet, she seems to believe in him so much.

Why does she believe in him so much? Does she see something in him that is different from the other students? In that case, I guess I should be ready for anything at this meeting. If I know Riki, he's very intelligent and he can be there to take notes.

Alright, it's about time for me to get some more paperwork done for the new building. I should get ahead and get on this assignment before they call me out again. And lord, the last time that happened, I swear I thought I was going deaf.

Natsumi's POV

Alright, another day. I wonder what Fuyuhiko is currently doing right now. I went to go see him. I eventually found him at the training grounds. Looks like he is training with Peko. He did want to improve on his swordsmanship in order to defend himself better. I sat down to watch him. After a few minutes, they stopped to take a break and they both sat close to me.

"Hey Natsumi. I didn't see you come in." He was breathing a bit heavy as he was saying that.

"Drink some water first. You sound like you're about to pass out."

"Heh, you're right." After he drank some water, he sounded a bit better.

"Still trying to find information on that girl?"

"Y-Yeah, she's too smart for us. Damn it! I wonder if we'll ever be able to counter her. Because I'm not trying to get m- (cough) excuse me, more involved with her than we already are." Wait, what was he going to say before he changed his statement? Did he do that on purpose?

"Fuyuhiko, I think you should give it a break for a bit. Your putting more stress on yourself and I can't allow that." Peko tried to get him to stop pressing the matter for now, and it seemed to work.

"(sigh) I think your right. I need to think a bit more in order to get this over with."

Fuyuhiko got a call from someone so he went outside to answer it. Now it was just me and Peko.

"Peko, do you think Fuyuhiko isn't telling me something?"

"Hm? What makes you say that?"

"I felt like he was going to say something else before he coughed. Maybe I'm just imagining it."

"Hmm... I'll speak to him about that. In the meantime, let's go eat breakfast, shall we?"

"Sure, let's go." We both walked to the living room, with all of the family members there in attendance. Fuyuhiko would show up a bit later.

"Alright, so let's get down to business everyone. How are we going to deal with the Kiyama family? Because I refuse to give up to them!" Our dad spoke up after a little while.

"I suggest we just take the fight to them and wage a war!"

"We should just give them what they want and give up already."

"No, we need to get them now!"

"But going too early could cause a problem later on down the line..."

"Maybe we should just play it safe here."

Argh, of course they are pissing me off. It's just so annoying! If Riki were here, I feel like he would know exactly what to do. Speaking of which, I haven't seen him in a little while. I hope he is okay.

It got very quiet for a while, as people were pondering on what to do.

...

...

Eventually, our grandpa's bodyguard spoke up.

"Well, it isn't much but I took a picture one day while I was walking with Fang. Here it is." He showed a picture of Ayaka talking with two other people. When I noticed the people in the picture, I had gasped a bit louder than I wanted to. Fuyuhiko and Peko must have noticed too because they must have realized the same thing.

Hiyoko and Riki know Ayaka in some way and they could be the key to helping us solve this problem!

"Guys, I think we have found our lead. I know those other two people in the picture!" Fuyuhiko decided to speak his case. "Those are friends that I know at the academy! Which means, they have to know something about her! Anything is fine."

"Yeah, I agree! We should listen to him!" I had assured everyone.

...

...

"Hmm, you have a point. However, I'm not so sure they will be of help. You do know if we call upon them, that means they will get involved no matter what, even if it is minuscule." Dad brought up a good point. "I will say however, I would feel more at ease if we had Riki helping us out. He's a good kid."

"Ok, how about this then Dad?" I decided to strike a deal with him. "Let's call them both over tonight, and if they don't want to help us, they don't have to."

"Hmm, okay. You have a deal." We shook hands on it. I decided to call Riki straight away. But for some reason, he didn't answer. I know he's usually up at this time!(don't ask why I know). What could he possibly be doing right now?!

The Aiuchi Household

Riki's POV

10:30 A.M.

...

...

Mmmph... H-huh? W-Where am I?

As I slowly opened my eyes, I saw that I was in a room with a ton of stuffed toys all over the place. Oh no, don't tell me I'm at Ayaka's place. N-noo.

"N-No!" I quickly covered my eyes to not see them again, only for someone to take my hands off of my face. Huh? It's Kiki. Why is she so close to my face right now?

Wait, Kiki?

...

...

Oh, I know where I'm at now.

I'm at my biological parent's house.

"R-Riki? A-Are you okay? You fell kind of hard."

"I-I did?"

"Y-Yeah, you passed out, so dad carried you to the guest room." Well, that was very nice of him. I'll be sure to thank him later.

"Hey Kiki... is it true? A-Are you really my twin sister?"

"Y-Yes. Actually, t-to tell you truth, I already knew from the moment I met you."

"Huh?"

"I-I'm sure you have many questions to ask right now. S-So, we're all waiting for you downstairs. Can you stand?"

"Y-Yeah I should be able to." I got up and stretched a bit. After a little while, I walked downstairs to the kitchen where as she said, they were waiting on me.

"Hi son! How are you feeling?" My mom greeted me. I won't lie, it feels very awkward for me to say this next sentence, but I would feel bad not saying it back to her so...

"I-I'm doing f-fine m-mom." Yeah, that's gonna take some getting used to.

"I'm sure you have a lot of questions right now Riki, so I'll answer any questions you have the best that I can. Don't be afraid to ask anything." Dad went straight to the point. Alright, I'll start the questions in chronological order then.

"Well, I'll start from the beginning then, if that's okay." They all nodded. "When did I get separated from you all if Kiki and I are fraternal twins?"

"Okay, good question from the start. You'll probably find this hard to believe, but both of you were not taken home with us. You were used in a science experiment."

...

...

W-Wait what? Science experiment? My face turned pale, and so did Kiki's. I'm guessing she didn't know that either. B-But, w-why?

"S-So-"

"W-Why were we used as s-science experiments?!" Kiki then spoke up which surprised me a bit since she interrupted me. Mom then spoke up.

"T-They never t-t-told us. But either way, t-they took you both away from us and we n-never saw you t-two again for a w-while." She was on the verge of crying, when dad gave her a few tissues.

"Yeah, we didn't see either of you for a while until Kiki was in a orphanage two years ago." Hm? Really? So we both had the same story. Maybe I should appreciate our family more than I thought.

"Well, I guess that would explain why my "biological parents" looked nothing like me. Definitely didn't do the best job taking care of me either."

"They didn't?"

"Yeah, similar to Kiki, I was also in a orphanage for a while. Goes to show that both of our "parents" weren't exactly the best caretakers. My adoptive parents are much better. In fact, you might know them. They are celebrities after all." That's when they all gasped.

"Wait, you mean Seiji and Ai Kei? I did hear on the news that they had adopted someone."

"Oh yeah, I remember."

"You mean, you're the kid they've adopted?! Oooh! Riki, you have to tell me everything about their lifestyle!" I figured she would want to know.

"I'll tell you later sis. Let's focus on the more serious stuff for now." I brought it back to the topic at hand. "So, when did you find Kiki?"

"We had desperately been trying to find both of you since the experiment. I'm guessing it must have failed because the scientists went to our house to tell us that both of you were in an orphanage. In fact, you two were very close to each other, your orphanages were just 20 minutes away from each other."

"W-We had found Kiki as we were just comforting the orphans. Once we found her, we already made sure to "adopt" her before anyone else could. It was definitely a sweet moment for all of us. But by the time we came to get you, you were already adopted! I guess we were too late..." Mom was on the verge of crying again, when I had decided to comfort her by patting her back.

"Hey, it's okay. You ended up completing the job anyways. I'm still here with all of you. And even though I have adoptive parents still, there's no way I ever forget you guys at all. Because you were the one that brought me into this world. T-Thank you Mom. I-I love you." I ended up tearing up a bit as I kept saying those lines, only for my mom to burst out in tears as she hugged me tightly. The rest would soon follow.

"I love you too Riki!"

"We all do son. Welcome back."

"Yay, we're a complete family now!" Kiki immediately went back to her happy spirits. Well, that's good with me.

"Well, I do have one more question, although it might sound a bit trivial. Who was born first, Kiki or me?"

"Kiki was born first, so she is technically older than you, although only by 15 minutes." Dad grinned a bit while he said that. Kiki would then show off in the most adorable way possible.

"Ha! You have to listen to whatever I tell you to do Riki!"

"Heh, okay then. That's fine with me."

Finally, for once I think now I am proud to say that...

I'm reunited with my biological family.

Convenience Store

Fuyuhiko's POV

12:00 P.M.

Heh, it feels good to be outside without Natsumi or Peko behind me all of the time. Well, it's not like I don't always want them to be around me or anything like that, but sometimes I want to gather my thoughts and just relax for a bit. I'll buy something here real quick.

As I walked into the store, I ran into Hajime and Mahiru. Interesting combination. Wonder what they're doing here.

"Hey Hajime, hey Mahiru. Didn't expect to run into you two here."

"Hm? Oh, hey Fuyuhiko."

"Hi Fuyuhiko. Where's Peko?"

"She's training at the dojo, always wanting to improve in her swordsmanship. I wish she would stop over-exerting herself sometimes. I worry about her a lot."

"Aww, Fuyuhiko likes Peko."

"Don't freakin tease me Mahiru; you know how I feel about that."

"Hee-hee, sorry, but you also didn't curse either? What's up with that?"

"I guess Riki has rubbed off on me a bit. I've never seen him get upset or even curse at all. It's like he hasn't experienced any hardship or anything."

"Well, he kinda has."

"Really?"

Hajime would then proceed to tell me everything about Riki that he knows: his parents, his current mission, how he got to where he is, even a little bit of his past. I can definitely see that Hajime and Riki are very good friends.

"Jesus Christ, he is a tough guy. If he was a bit more stronger physically, he'd be a perfect fit for yakuza work. But even then, his mental strength exudes everything around him."

"Not to mention he has an adorable girlfriend to help him treat his wounds in case he gets injured. Hee-hee." Really, Mahiru? I think you need to stop talking to Hiyoko so much. Oh, speaking of Hiyoko...

"Actually, I am looking for Hiyoko and Riki right now? Do you know where any of them are?"

"And why should I tell you where Hiyoko is?"

"Hmm, good point. I guess I shouldn't expect you to tell me. Hiyoko would probably not even listen to me anyways." That got a bit of a reaction from Mahiru, although I don't know why. "Well Hajime, do you know where Riki is?"

"The last time I seen him was yesterday night. He was walking with someone that looked exactly like him. Where he went after that, I have no idea though."

"Okay then, thank you two. I'll see you some other time." I was about to walk off the store, when Mahiru suddenly spoke up.

"If your looking for Hiyoko, she should be near the Kiyama household. You owe me for that information though."

"Okay, I'll keep it in mind Mahiru. Thank you for telling me. And of course, I'll be sure to help you in any way I can." I walked out of the store and headed to the household. Of fucking course she's there. Maybe she hasn't actually gotten there yet.

...

...

"Why do you think he wants to see Hiyoko and Riki specifically, Mahiru?"

"Hmph, I don't know, but if anything happens to Hiyoko, he will pay for it!"

Near the Kiyama Household

12:05 P.M.

Heh, this will probably not be the first time I'll have to walk here. As Mahiru said, I was walking behind Hiyoko. Well, guess it can't hurt to give it a try.

"Um... excuse me Hiyoko?"

"Huh? Who is that?" She turned around and saw me. "Oh, it's "young master" Fuyuhiko. Why the hell are you following me?!"

"First off, I told you numerous times to stop calling me "young master." Peko already does it and it annoys me, I don't need two people doing it. Secondly, you're friends with Ayaka Kiyama, correct?"

"Hmph, yeah. Why do you care so much?"

"Well, you probably won't believe this or not even care about it, but I am currently about to be involved with this household in some underground politics. Right now, they have the advantage and at this rate, we're going to have to surrender to their order, which I won't allow. If you know anything about her that could help us, please tell me."

...

...

"Wow, Fuyuhiko saying please? You don't get to hear that every day. Hahaha!"

"Do you know anything or not?!"

"Hmph, fine. I'll tell you a few things. But on one condition."

"What is it?"

I don't want to be involved in this shady business. That's between you two. I'm just her friend and I could kinda care less; she's really a bitch. Anyways, do you promise?" She pointed at me and the household to emphasize her point.

"You got yourself a deal. I'll make sure you don't get involved in this problem." I put my hand out to make a promise. She hesitated at first(for some reason), but eventually put her hand out, and we shook on it.

"Well, if you must know so badly, her tea actually has a hypnotizing effect on people that drink it."

"Seriously?!"

"Yeah, she puts drugs in a few teas, specifically on the higher-ups in the underground in order to have them on their side. And the worst thing is, it's not seen by the naked eye. You'd need like a microscope to even see the drug itself."

"Hmm, noted." I started writing this stuff down, as I feel like this is going to be important later on down the line. "Anything else?"

"She actually plans on attending Hope's Peak Academy Reserve Course when school starts back up." That's when my heart dropped.

What the hell is she planning on attending Hope's Peak? If she gets even those people on her side, then there's no way we can win this! I'm definitely gonna need some serious back-up.

"Hello? Earth to Fuyuhiko? Are you okay?" Hiyoko was actually looking a bit concerned for me. Surprising.

"Y-Yeah, that just came out of nowhere. How does she plan on getting in anyways?"

"Duh! She's a part of the Kiyama household, and she's freaking rich! How do you not know that?" Oh yeah, the Reserve Course has a large fee in order to attend. Well, she got me there.

"But why?"

"All I know is, she has someone as a network. Junko Enoshima. And both of them are working together to achieve different goals." Wait, Junko? That fucking pink-haired psycho? Come the fuck on! I knew she was up to no good!

"Argh... that's not good at all."

"Yeah, I hate Junko so freaking much."

"You do? I actually would have thought you liked her appearance."

"Bleh! Her appearance is fucking outdated! Everyone dresses like that now. She can fade away for all I care!" Well, moving along...

"Anything else?"

"Not much, except Riki and Ayaka have history with each other."

"They do?"

"Yeah, they used to date each other in middle school. I don't remember the story though. You'll have to get it from Riki if you want to hear it."

"Okay. I think I got everything I needed. Thank you Hiyoko, and as promised, I'll make sure that no one hurts you or your family at all." I waved at her, then left.

...

...

"Hmph, when you don't act so fucking tough all the time, you're actually an awesome guy Fuyuhiko... As Hiyoko was heading to Ayaka's house, she was told by her parents that she isn't there right now.

"Hm? I guess Ayaka isn't here. Wonder where she could be..."

Hope's Peak Academy

1:00 P.M.

"Junko's" POV

"Um, okay. I can definitely make sure she gets enrolled before school starts, but is there a reason why you really want Ayaka to be in this school? You seem to be really hellbent on getting her here. Definitely a bit surprising to say the least Junko."

"Yeah, I just really want her to feel the awesome life of students here at Hope's Peak Academy!" (Ugh.. I hate having to say hope, but it's necessary to mention the damn school name!) After a little while, he gave some paperwork to Ayaka to sign.

"Okay, sign this paperwork and bring it to me by tomorrow morning. I'll be running a tight schedule tomorrow, so I'm hoping that you can get it to me by that time so I can quickly get you enrolled."

"Okay headmaster! Consider it done! And here's a check for my fee!" When he saw the check, he almost gasped. How much was on that check.

"U-Uhm, are you sure you don't want to just give me the exact money? T-This seems like a lot..."

"No, it's okay! Consider it my appreciation for allowing me to be in this academy, sir!" She then winked at him. This girl can be so fucking manipulative and flirty when she wants to.

I hate her already.

"O-Okay then. Remember to have the paperwork in tomorrow. With that being said, I'll see both of you tomorrow." Jin then signaled for us to leave, as he continued doing paperwork."

"Heh, thank you Junko!" She hugged me. "I won't forget your awesome request!"

"If you don't mind me asking, why do you want to get into Hope's Peak Academy so badly?"

"Easy! It's for two reasons, to get all of these dumb political members on my side for the Underground Political Yakuza Meeting coming up. There's no way we lose as long as my family wins that! Haha!"

Okay, this girl is far more crazy than I thought. What was it Junko called these kind of girls? Yanderes. That explains it. Although, I only know that because she has called me that numerous times.

"Okay, sounds cool! And the other reason?"

"I want to get my ex back! My caring and adorable Riki! I know he still has feelings for me after we met a few weeks ago." Huh? What did she say?

She said that Riki is her ex?! And she wants him back?! OH NO THE FUCK YOU DON"T!

...

...

Is what I would like to say to her, but I can't jeopardize the plan. Besides, when she finds out the truth, she's gonna be devastated anyways.

"Hate to break it to ya, but that second goal is most likely impossible now."

"Huh? Why is that?"

"Your caring and adorable Riki already has a girlfriend. And they are basically in love right now, both mentally and physically. So unless something crazy happens, good luck with trying that."

"Ha! That won't be a problem! I'll just make sure she's gone long enough for him to fall for me again!"

"And how will you do that?"

...

...

"Let's just say I have my ways..."

I-Is she planning to do what I think she does? Argh... it sucks I can't tell Riki about this without him being suspicious! Wait, maybe there is a way.

As much as I don't want to help his damn girlfriend, I hate to see Riki very sad. So, I'll suck in my pride and help both sides.

"Ha, crazy girl! I like ya! Tell ya what, I can help you with that goal then! But first, you need to get enrolled. Get that paperwork done!"

"Consider it done!" After that, we waved at each other and went our separate ways.

Sounds like I'm gonna have to get involved in this meeting she has. But I'll have to disguise so I'm not easily seen. Guess a trip to the fashion store is in order.

Movie Theater

Riki's POV

3:30 P.M.

Me and Kiki were heading to the movie theater to watch the new scary movie: Zombies Awaken From The Mansion! It's the third movie in the trilogy and I am excited to watch it!

As we got there, we ran into Makoto and someone else. Is it his sister?

"Hey Makoto! How are you?"

"Hi Riki! I'm fine!"

"Big brother, who is this?" She calls him big brother in public? I'm kinda jealous, I'll admit it.

"I told you not to call me that in public!"

"Oh, so you don't mind if it's private though?" I decided to tease him.

"R-Riki!"

"You didn't have to tease him like that, Riki."

"Yeah, sorry about that."

"Nah, he liked it. Look at his blushing face! Heehee!" That only made him more red in the face, when he put a finger on her lips to tell her to be quiet.

"T-This is my younger sister Komaru. As you can see, she's very talkative."

KOMARU NAEGI

Age: 15

Height: 5"4

Weight: 108

Likes: Girl's manga

Dislikes: Lightning

Birthday: May 31

"Hey! ...it's true though. You must be Riki! Nice to meet you!" I put my hand out to greet her, but she ran up to me and hugged me, which surprised me a bit.

"You must really like hugs, don't you?"

"Yes! D-Do you not like hugs?"

"Yes, I do. Come here." I hugged her back. I wish more people liked hugs. It's really comforting to get a hug from someone. I've experienced that feeling numerous times.

"Mmph, your really nice... Way more than big brother here!" She puffed her cheeks out at him, which made him smirk. "And this must be your sister, am I right?"

"Yes! I'm Kiki! Actually, we're twins!" That got a gasp from both of them.

"I never knew you had a twin Riki."

"Well, it's a long story. Let's just say I've reunited with her after so long." I smiled at Kiki.

"Aww, I missed you too." Kiki then hugged me next. Guess we need to make a hugging group chat or something now. Haha!

"But enough of that, you guys seeing the new movie that came out today?"

"Yeah! We were so psyched when we saw the trailer for it. Let's get our tickets!" We all got our tickets and we headed in the theater."

"We were lucky enough to get the last tickets for this movie. Guess my luck kicked in there."

We watched the movie. It took about two hours, but it was well worth it.

...

...

...

"That movie was amazing! Way better than the first two movies combined for sure!"

"Definitely. It had a much better story arc and it also tied in the other movies as well without any continuity error. This movie definitely exceeded the expectations of everyone."

"It was a good movie. A-Although I screamed a bit too much..."

"Your always screaming Makoto! Like a little girl!"

"Aww, it's okay Makoto. The movie was pretty scary."

"Thank you Kiki." Me and Komaru looked at each other and laughed. Those two can be a bit sensitive sometimes.

"Well, that was awesome. We'll see you two sometime soon!"

"Oh, one more thing Riki." Makoto had stopped me.

"What is it Riki?"

"Did you get a text message from the headmaster?" Hm, a text message? Come to think of it, I haven't checked my phone all day since what happened yesterday. I pulled out my phone and checked it. I seen a text message from the headmaster, a text message from Chiaki, and three missed calls from Natsumi. What could Chiaki and Natsumi want with me?

"Yeah, do you know what this is about?"

"Apparently, they are opening up a new building in Hope's Peak Academy, and they need people to take care of departments that will be in place at the academy. I'm guessing we are part of the candidates that they've chosen."

"Interesting... when is the meeting?"

"Tomorrow morning, so we should probably go and get some rest."

"Right. Well, in that case, I'll see you tomorrow then Makoto. Bye Komaru, it was nice meeting you!"

"Okay, see you tomorrow then!"

"Bye Riki! See you soon!"

"Bye Makoto and Komaru! Hope we can meet up soon!"

As Kiki and I were walking home, I felt like someone was following us. I don't know why but I looked back, and Makoto and Komaru were walking in the opposite direction.

"Is something wrong Riki?"

"Um, I thought someone was secretly following us, but I guess not. Let's go home."

"Okay!"

...

...

"Big brother, please tell me Riki is single!"

"Yeah, no, your outta luck. Besides, mom said you couldn't date until you turn 16."

"Aww man!"

Chiaki's POV

5:40 P.M.

Haah, that took a long time, but I finally got the high score on this new game that came out today! I'm so happy! I need to be on the lookout for future games I can get high scores on.

...

...

I wonder if Riki got my text message... As if on cue, I got a text message from Riki. Yes! Let's see what he says.

Hey, Chiaki. I got your text message. What did you want to talk about that you couldn't say in front of Hajime?

Actually, I want to talk to you Riki. This doesn't have anything to do with Hajime.

Oh, well what is it Chiaki?

Well, two things actually. I feel more comfortable saying this now. The first thing is, I wanted you to know that Chisa is the reason that we know each other now.

What do you mean by that?

Chisa somehow got note of the fact that you were coming to the academy before we even knew. I can only assume the headmaster had told her. But, she's really been fixated on you and I couldn't think why. But after thinking about it, there's only one conclusion I've come to.

And what would that be Chiaki? Because, I've been curious myself.

...

...

...

Um, Chiaki? You still there? It's been five minutes. Are you okay?

She likes you. Romantically.

...

...

Um... No offense Chiaki, I think your theory is WAY off. First off, she already told me that she was in love with someone while I was at the trip with Class 78.

She did?

Yeah, but not before flirting with me.. Okay, so maybe it holds a little weight. But even so, I doubt it. There's no way she would date someone that's way younger than her.

Maybe so, but I think I'm right. And I do have some kind of proof. Here.

I sent him a picture of Chisa's drawing of a heart broke in half. It showed Kyosuke on one side and Chisa on the other side, then Riki's name is off to the side, slowing but surely moving his way up towards Kyosuke's side of the heart.

W-When did you take that picture?

After class before we went on winter break, when Chisa ran off in a hurry for some reason. I'm guessing during that time frame, Kyosuke rejected her and your slowly becoming the next person she loves.

...

...

I guess when you put it like that, you might be right. But I'm gonna stay cautious just in case it's for another reason.

Keep in mind, Chisa can be pushy and rather yandere-like when things don't go her way.

I've seen that up close. Thank you for telling me Chiaki. What about the other thing?

Were you one of the candidates chosen for the meeting tomorrow?

Yes, and I'm a bit curious as to what this meeting will be about.

I'd be careful if I were you Riki. I wouldn't bet on this, but Chisa will probably try to do anything to ensure you get your way. Just be careful, okay?

Noted Chiaki. I promise. :)

See you tomorrow. :)

...

...

Riki... I feel bad that I partially lied to you just then. But I don't know if I'm ready to tell him that I almost chose him instead of Hajime. He does need to be careful though tomorrow.

Aiuchi Household

7:30 P.M.

Riki's POV

Oh yeah, I should probably text my adoptive parents and let them know where I'm at right now. I wonder if they'll still let me be a part of their family after they find out what happened.

Before I could do that, I got another phone call from Natsumi. She's really been trying to get to me today. Wonder what she wants.

"Hello?"

"Riki! You finally answered, you idiot. Where have you been?!"

"Ah, I'm sorry Natsumi; a lot has happened. See, I've been sort of finding myself and my subjective truth. Seems like I got the answers I wanted."

"Well, at least your okay. That's more important to me than anything. I hate to bring up some of your past or whatever, but I have to ask this question. Do you know someone named Ayaka Kiyama?" Huh?

Wait, why does she know who she is? Could this have something to do with her family and the tea? I always wondered if there was anything wrong with the tea. It seemed a bit too perfect.

"Yes, I do. In fact, we actually used to date back in middle school. Why do you ask?"

"Wait, you used to freaking date her? Well, this will make this a whole lot easier then!"

"Hm? Make what easier?"

"I need you to help me and Fuyuhiko take down their family household."

"Uhm, I'm not sure I want to do that. I mean, Ayaka and I haven't been on the best terms, but we've come back to being just friends at least. It would be cool to see her get humbled though..."

"You definitely have to tell me everything tomorrow."

"Tomorrow?"

"Yeah, after Fuyuhiko gets done with his meeting tomorrow, your coming over to our house to help us deal with this problem. Right?"

"Well, I'd say tomorrow night. I'll be busy for a good little while."

"Hmm. Okay, but does that mean you agree to our terms?"

"Yeah, I'll be over there tomorrow night."

"Great! I'll see you then. Good night Riki!"

"Good night Natsumi." I hung up the phone. Well, I figured this was going to happen eventually, just not in the way I thought. Kuzuryu v.s. Kiyama. It's kinda a good headline if you think about it. Well, tomorrow is gonna be a long day, so I better head to sleep to get some rest.

H-Huh? What's going on? I heard someone hit my window. Who could it be? When I went to take a look, I opened the window and I got pulled down the floor. Who the hell is this? When I got up to see who it was, it was Mukuro. What the hell is she doing here and how does she know where I live?

"M-Mukuro?"

"Yes, Riki, it's me. Listen, you are in great danger."

"Any more danger than you creeping on my window and scaring me to death?"

"I-I'm sorry about that. I-I kinda followed you to your house." Mukuro was slightly blushing. "But it was a necessary thing I had to do."

"Why is that?"

"Do you know someone named Ayaka?"

"Yes I do. Wait, why is everyone asking me who she is? She's usually well-known around here."

"Well, this might involve you. Ayaka is going to attend Hope's Peak Academy in the Reserve Course."

"W-What? Are you serious?"

"Yes, and I fear that she may try something not only to you, but to those that you hold near and dear. Please be careful Riki."

"Hmm, I promise. But you owe me something for you creeping into my window like that."

"Of course. I can give you anything you want. Anything." Her eyes turned a bit darker and she got a bit closer to me. Um, if she was thinking like that, then that definitely won't happen, although I would be lying if I said I never thought of her in a romantic way.

"Um, just don't do that again, and just be a good friend. Okay?" Her eyes went back to normal.

"O-Oh. Okay. Well, let me hoist you back up." I got on her hands and jumped up back to the open window."

"Thank you. See you later Mukuro."

"S-See ya."

Mukuro walked off in a different direction, and I closed the window, making sure to lock it. That must have been how she opened it. She definitely earns her title of Ultimate Soldier.

...

...

I wonder where Ryoko has been. I hope she's okay.

Hope's Peak Academy

10:00 P.M.

Chisa's POV

"But Kyosuke, please reconsider! Don't you think we are absolutely perfect for each other? I-I really loved you since we first met! Why won't you accept my love?!

"Chisa, you know exactly why I cannot do that. Your just being delusional and denying the truth."

"But, I could give you anything you wanted! Wouldn't you want to have a child? I-I can give you that easy!"

"I'm not that desperate. I can get that whenever I want to; I don't have to be bound at such a young age like you want to."

"I-I just want to be the one to fulf-"

"Chisa, enough!" He shook me for a little while.

"I'm sorry Chisa. Your a very beautiful and charming lady. Anyone would be lucky to have someone like you. But unfortunately, it can't be me. Because I already have a significant other." I gasped heavily. This is what you've been holding from me this whole time?

"W-What the fuck? Why did you wait so long to tell me this?! I've been loving you for this long for nothing?! Kyosuke, you, you idiot! I-I've been keeping my first times so I could h-have them with you. I-I-I even waited for you so you could be my first time. I-I'm still a virgin. J-Just, w-why Kyosuke? W-why?"

"I'm sorry Chisa. That's all I can really say. I do hope your soulmate is waiting for you eventually. See you at the meeting tomorrow. Goodbye Chisa." Kyosuke walked off rather quickly.

...

...

Okay, heheheh, hahaha, HAHAHAHA! I see now! So Kyosuke is already planning on fucking another woman that isn't me?! HA! He has another thing coming for him, because I already know who my next soulmate is going to be.

Riki, you've done so much for me. I wish I had just made the move back when we were at the hotel. I could have even took your first. But that damn girl Seiko probably already did! Hmph..

...

...

No worries. I'll just have to make sure that she doesn't have another chance to do that again.

Riki, I'll make sure your voice is heard, from the meeting and from somewhere else. Heehee... I can't believe I fell for someone younger than me. Well, he's been so kind to me. But, he'll never know why I care about him so much. No one should know! Either way, one thing is clear...

He will be mine, and he doesn't have a choice! I won't let anyone say otherwise!
