Chisa's POV

A day later...

WARNING: Nasty part approaching. Skip if you aren't into that kind of thing.

Mmm...

...

...

Haa..

Ohhh fuuuuuck... I think I'm starting to get turned on by this kind of thing... Oooooooh.

I know I shouldn't do this... but damn it, it's so satisfying. This pen is one of the best sex toys ever...

But it's not just any pen... It's Riki's favorite pen.

Heehee, he doesn't even know that he dropped it. It was the day just before school went out for winter break. It was lunch break time.

(Flashback)

"Are you sure Chisa? I can always be your assistant for your classroom if you want me to. Truth be told, I don't have to go to class since I get high grades anyways."

"No, it's fine Riki! I want you to continue to be the great student that you are! Besides, Chiaki and the others are doing their parts, which is exactly what I wanted them to do anyways."

"Well, okay then. I guess I'll go hang out around the fountain then. See ya!"

As Riki was walking off, something fell out of his pocket. His pen. Specifically, it was red with polka dots. I'm guessing it's some kind of ladybug pen. Oh, he was taking notes using that pen.

I picked it up and smelled it. Mmm, smells exactly like Riki. If only I had done more with him, I would have shown him a real grown woman's love. Seiko is so lucky to have someone like him. I think I'm a little jealous...

...

Oh my god, I think I have a crush on a student. And it's Riki. Mmm... I held the pen very close to me. This must be one of his most favorite prized possessions! I'll cherish it.

All of a sudden, I started thinking dirty thoughts. What if I gave it my smell? Heehee, sounds like a great idea! And I know exactly how to do it.

But just as I started pulling my dress up, Riki had came in the room. Thank goodness I managed to pull them down before he came in. I also hid the pen behind my back.

"Hey Chisa. Uh, you are sweating a lot. Are you okay?"

"Y-Yes! I-I'm fine."

"You don't seem fine. Here, let me see." He got closer to me and put his hand on my forehead.

Oh my gosh, he looks so damn handsome! I want him to be mine now!

"N-No! It's okay Riki. Really, I'm okay! T-Thank you for worrying about me though."

"No problem Chisa. Hey, have you seen my pen?"

"A pen?"

"Yeah. It's red and has polka dots on them."

"N-No, I haven't seen it. Did you lose it somewhere?" Oh my, I just lied to him!

"Hmm, I thought it was here, but I guess I don't see it. If you see it, let me know. Well, see ya Chisa." He walked back in the same direction he came in.

...

...

Mmm, my love for him has only gone up. He's so caring, so beautiful, so perfect. Now I'm conflicted.

Do I choose Kyosuke, the one I've loved for so long? An amazing, smart individual who has already been successful in his life, my friend since we were in school?

Or do I choose Riki, the boy who has stolen my heart? A guy who cares for everyone around him, and a student who has a bright future ahead of him?

Such a hard decision...

(Flashback over)

I can't believe I thought Kyosuke was the one. That no-good, fucking bastard led me on for so many years! But it's okay. Because I know Riki will be able to make me feel so much better than he ever could!

Ooh, just thinking about it makes me so horny! I can't stop! AAAAAAAHHHHHH!

"MMMMMMMMMMph!" It took everything that I had to suppress that. I didn't want to attract attention. Ooooh, my panties and my insides are all wet now. In a way, I guess you could say I just indirectly had sex with Riki. Haaah, I have to control my breathing, the meeting starts in a few minutes. Then I'll see Riki for real!

Heehee, let's have some fun.

Main Building Cafeteria

Riki's POV

When I got to the cafeteria, many of the people I know were there. Cool. There were so many seats to sit at. Hmm, four main spots had spoken to me in my mind.

1. I could go and sit with Makoto, Kyoko, and the others. They are cool people, and I wouldn't mind sitting with them.

2. I can go and sit with Chiaki; maybe I could be more better prepared for Chisa if she tries anything.

3. I can make the easy decision and go sit with my girlfriend, Seiko, along with Ruruka and Sonosuke.

4. Or, I could make the extra hard decision and go sit next to Chisa so I could get answers from her that I've been wanting for a while.

...

...

I'm going to get some major backlash for making this decision, aren't I? As much as I don't want to, I feel like this is a choice I have to make for the better.

I sucked in my integrity and pride, and went to go sit with Chisa, Juzo, and some other guy. As I walked over there, I could see Seiko looking at me with an upset and disappointed face. Aww, that's the face I didn't want to see. I'll make sure to apologize to her later. When I got closer to Chisa's table, I got a text message from Chiaki.

I read the message: Remember Riki, she will try anything to ensure that you become the main attention. I'll keep secretly messaging you if I notice anything suspicious. Please be careful.

I messaged her back: Okay. Thank you for letting me know.

Well, here we go. I sat next to Chisa at her table.

"Hm, well this is rather interesting. I wouldn't have expected a student to sit here. I'm assuming you are Riki, the one Chisa keeps mentioning so much?" How many people has Chisa mentioned me to?

"Um, yes." I gave Chisa a questionable look, to which she gave me a "I'm sorry!" kind of face. Eh, well it's fine.

"Nice to meet you. I am Kyosuke Munakata. I'm the co-director for the new building."

KYOSUKE MUNAKATA

Talent: Former Ultimate Student Council President

Age: 24

Height: 6"1

Weight: 159

Likes: Discipline

Dislikes: Chaos

Birthday: August 22

He put his hand out. I shook it.

"Nice to meet you. I've heard a lot about you. Like how you saved the school from that big hacking scandal that changed everyone's grades."

"It was nothing. It's my duty to make sure that this school gets the proper treatment it deserves. Misconducts is simply not allowed here at Hope's Peak." Wow, this guy is really cool and humble. Even if that first part sounded a bit passive-aggressive.

"But enough about me. I've heard many things about you. How you saved someone from death, being friends with everyone around you, and very high grades. I'm certain you have a great future ahead of you Riki."

"Thank you sir. I'm just being myself; that's all."

Just before the meeting started, Chisa tapped me on the shoulder.

"Oh hey, I've found your pen. Here you go!"

"Oh, thank you so much." I gave her a big smile to show I was really appreciative.

Hmm, why does it smell a bit funny? She must have went to great lengths to find my pen. I'm very grateful to her.

Jin had stepped up to the main stage, and grabbed everyone's attention.

"Alright, settle down everyone. I am glad that you all could make it. I am the headmaster of this school, Jin Kirigiri. I've already met someone of you at this academy, but for those I haven't met or talked to yet, it is an honor to finally meet you. Well, I'm sure you want me to get straight to the point, so let's get to it. As many of you know, we have plans for a new building that should come around next year. We are making great progress on it. Here's the reason why all of you are here. Me and some other members overseeing the progress of the building have decided we need some people to be a part of the branches that we will have here in this new building. You all were chosen as candidates. We want to see what ideas you might have that can further the chances of not only your idea coming to fruition, but also you being a part of our plans. With that being said, anyone wants to go first?"

After a little while, Fuyuhiko and Peko were the first to stand up. Hmm, somehow I'm not surprised.

"Well, as the Ultimate Yakuza, I feel that having a branch for underground activity should be in play. Now, I know you're probably thinking, but it could be a major advantage for us. We could maybe get some secret information on what's going on out there and maybe bring it to light. Since the crime here has started to jump up, this could decrease that drastically. Of course, having a syndicate yakuza gang like mine, this should be no issue. Any questions?"

Jin put his hand up in response to the question.

"It's definitely an interesting road to go on. But why would we need to ever think about underground activity, let alone worry about it?"

"Well, good question. The idea here is, there's no guarantee it'll be fine. But if you let me take over, I can definitely decrease the chances. I am the Ultimate Yakuza for a reason."

"Hmm, maybe. I just don't see a use for it right now. Thanks for the idea though."

"Hmph. Damn." Fuyuhiko put his head down, a bit upset. Peko gave him a pat on the shoulder though, so he's probably okay.

Hmm, maybe I should have stepped in for him? I think it could have been a good idea; he just didn't come fully prepared.

Chiaki was the next person to step up.

...

...

"Uh, Chiaki? You ok?" Jin checked on her.

"Huh? Oh, yes I'm okay. Now, where was I? Oh yes, obviously technology is a big part of this school, correct? I propose that we have a room in the new building to relax for a break. Of course, game consoles have to be in there. It's a must have for sure!" Chiaki was really excited to bring that up.

"Good idea, Chiaki. As expected of my student class rep!" Chisa stood up this time and was happy to hear her idea. "I think that's an excellent idea! I think we should add that in the blueprints! What do you think, Jin?"

"That is definitely a sound plan to me. Okay Chiaki, your idea has been added. Nice proposition."

Good job Chiaki! I'm proud of you. Next up was Kyoko. This should be interesting. What could Jin's daughter propose today? I'm actually curious to hear what she has to say.

"Well, as one of the Ultimate Detectives here at this academy, it can be pretty stressful sometimes doing this job. On top of Chiaki's proposition mentioned earlier, could we have some of branch with a counselor or a therapist that could help us get rid of some stress from time to time?"

Well, that's not a bad idea either.

"Good idea Kyoko. This was actually mentioned with me and the others earlier. Is there someone in mind you'd think would be a good person for this?" All of a sudden, Chiaki had texted me secretly.

Chisa will try to get you to say something if your chosen.

C'mon Chiaki. There's no way Kyoko picks me-

"Hmm. I think Riki is a good candidate for a counselor. He's very understanding and caring of others. I can't think of anyone else who would be perfect for this spot." Kyoko then proceeds to look at me and grin. Oh brother, how am I going to respond to this? On top of that, I felt Seiko staring daggers at me ever though I didn't see it. I promise, I'm not trying to do this on purpose!

"I agree! I proposed this earlier and I even chose him as the candidate too! Does anyone have any objections?" Chisa once again spoke up and agreed with someone else.

You know, I questions my actions sometimes. This is actually rather unlike me to even think about doing something like this. I wonder if i'm starting to get a bit careless with my choices.

Well, I can't just stay silent. I'll say something.

"Aww, thanks Kyoko. That means a lot to me that you nominated me. Well, I can't guarantee I'd be the best option, but I wouldn't mind taking on the role of counselor." All of a sudden, there was a bit of a uproar. Seems like they didn't like the fact that I said I'd be the best option. I mean, I don't want to get my hopes up too much.

"Heh, sounds like they think you would be the best option Riki. You should be more proud of yourself sometimes. Look at the crowd of friends you've made!" Chisa had grabbed my hand and put it up in the air to basically confirm me being the counselor. Well, this is a rather interesting day so far. And to think I have to go to Fuyuhiko's house at night to head to the undergrounds of Japan. This day is going to be fun.

The conversations kept going on like this for quite some time, to the point I was starting to get sleepy because of how long it was taking. Then all of a sudden, I felt someone touch my shoulder. It was Chisa. She's been on my case today for some reason. What could she possibly want this time?

"Riki, when this meeting is over, see me in my classroom in 15 minutes, okayyy?" I don't like the implication of that "okay".

"Um, okayyyy."

After an hour later, the meeting was finally over. Seiko and the others ran up to me, and as I expected, she was a bit upset.

"Riki, w-what the h-heck was t-that? Why did you s-sit with them and not u-us? And why were those g-girls so lovey-dovey to y-you like t-that?"

"I'm sorry Seiko. That was a lapse of judgement on my part. I guess I wanted to know more about the meeting. And I promise there's nothing going on; I'm pretty sure they were just teasing me, that's all." I hope that's what it was.

"That's rare though. It isn't like you to make a decision like that. At the least, you would think even three times before making one." Sonosuke makes a good point. I always try to make the safe choice, but I took a major risk there. I should be more careful for sure.

"W-Well, as long as y-you're okay, that's all that matters to me. D-Do you have any plans today?"

"Nah, I'm free this morning. Did you have something in mind?"

"Come hang out with u-us. We're heading to the arcade."

"Sure, I'll be out in a little bit." Alright, if I want to head to the arcade, let's hurry up and see what Chisa wants.

When I went to Chisa's classroom, she wasn't there. That's weird. This is the classroom right?

"Chisa? Are you here? Where are you?"

Hmm, maybe I showed up a bit too late. She probably already left by now. Well, it's not like we can't see each other again-

"Heeey Riiikkkki... There's my favorite student." Chisa came in and her face was a bit... suggestive to say the least.

"Um, I thought you said Chiaki was your favorite student."

"I meant for something besides that. Riki, I'll just tell you. Ever since we shared a room at the hotel, I've fallen in love with you. Every encounter we've had has only made me love you even more! I think that you just go out with me. We'd be a perfect combination."

Oh, uh... well this came out of nowhere. What happened to her to act like this? I-I don't even have any words to say right now. Since the hotel, where you almost had sex with me in the bed(to be fair, I kinda had gave her a pass, but still.)? Just calm down Riki. We're perfectly fine. I got this.

"W-Well Chisa, I'm really flattered that you have feelings for me. If we're being honest, I did have feelings for you as well since we were at the hotel as well."

"R-Really?"

"Yes. Even though you were a bit older than me, I didn't mind it because you were more than a friend to me, I liked you a lot actually, and it meant a lot to me when you said you would bypass your age to date someone like me."

"I-Is that a yes?!"

"But, I'm sorry Chisa. We can't be together. I'm already with somebody. Our fates just weren't meant to be intertwined. But I'm sure someone will be with you. Your very beautiful, caring for others, and very smart. I'm sure there's someone out there for you. Well, I have to go. Bye Chisa."

I walked out the room with a bit of a confused mind. Did she really call me out just for that? There had to have been enough reason for it.

And I should have asked her why she cares about me so much. Oh well, let's head to the arcade with Seiko!

...

...

"Too late Riki, I've already committed my entire life to you. You. Will. Be. Mine. And you don't have a choice!"

"Finally, I felt like that meeting was going to last forever! Ugh, who cares about this building anyways?!" Ruruka is complaining as usual.

"Well, they did put a lot of work into it. I just hope that it's a major success."

"I-I think it's a g-good idea. It has been a w-while since we've had changes to Hope's P-Peak Academy."

"Hey, where's Riki?"

"He's testing his strength and skill at that hammer game over there."

I just need to focus... Get the right timing and I can win enough tickets to get that red jeweled ring. And... now!

When I hit the button, it barely stopped at the middle... Which was perfect for me.

"Yes! I won 10000 tickets!"

"Well, look at you Riki. Living it big aren't ya?" Ruruka took the moment to tease me.

"I always find a way to live life big. That's a known fact."

"C-Congrats. That must have t-took a lot of concentration." Seiko praised me. Aww, thanks!

"You always did find a way to win the rigged games in your favor. I always wondered how you do it."

"Riki Aiuchi never tells his secrets to winning games." We all starting laughing.

I went to the ticket booth and exchanged them all for the ring. I hid it in my pocket.

Afterwards, we went to a restaurant to eat.

"Mmm, I love sushi! So good!"

"I will admit, sushi does taste good after a long day." Sonosuke doesn't normally eat sushi because he doesn't like it.

"R-Riki, a-are you okay?"

"Hm? Yeah, why do you ask Seiko?"

"Y-You looked a bit out of it d-during the meeting. E-Especially with C-Chisa all over y-you." Erm... she wasn't exactly all over me but I get the gist of what she's saying.

"Um, I was just a bit surprised that everyone thinks I'm a great candidate for counselor. I mean, I don't know if I'd be ready for that kind of thing. And I promise you, Chisa is just a friend."

"Apparently she doesn't think that though. Hell, she probably thinks of you as friends with benefits." Ruruka just always finds a way to get into a conversation doesn't she?

"Ruruka, really?"

"She does Riki! There was no other reason for her to be over you like that! And you just let it happen!"

"Well, it caught me by surprise to be honest. But your absolutely right. I'm sorry Seiko." Man, I'm being very uncharacteristic today. I need to be more like myself.

"H-Hey Riki, it's okay. I-I'm not mad at you. I-I know she's a teacher, and s-she shouldn't be interested in y-you like that anyways."

"I think you're letting him off too easy Seiko! He needs a tiny punishment."

"You have to be joking Ruruka. There's no such thing as a "tiny punishment."

"Oh yes there is Riki. You've just never got one before. I've gave Sonosuke plenty of those." She looked at him with flirty eyes, to which he just chuckled.

I'm not sure I like the implications of this.

"Hmm, I t-think you are r-right Ruruka. Sorry Riki." Damn it Ruruka! You've influenced her once again! Now I have to sit here and face this "tiny punishment".

"Well, alright then. C'mon, slap me, punch me, do anything." I had my face ready for that, when she whispered this in my ear, but also made sure Ruruka and Sonosuke heard it.

"I'll get you when you least expect it Riki. Heehee." Man, I don't like these kind of punishments. I always have to be on alert.

"Ahh, I see. Well, I'm secretly looking forward to this punishment then."

We all chatted for a little while longer.

Soon after a while, nighttime struck and it was time for us to separate for now. I checked the calendar. Next week marks the return to school. Kinda crazy to think we already are going back to school.

Normally I would go home to my adoptive parents. I made up a system so that I can spend time with both of my set of parents. On the weekdays, I spend time with my biological family, and I spend time with my adoptive family on the weekends. Normally I would spend the night with my adoptive family, but I've got other plans. I let them know and I started the long walk over to Fuyuhiko's household.

That's when I ran into a problem. I'd have to pass by Ayaka's house. Normally I wouldn't care, but at night, who knows what could happen? So I took a detour in the hopes that I wouldn't pass her. But it turns out that didn't matter anyways because-

"Hey Riki! How are you?" I ran into her anyways. She must have had the same idea as I did. She always was a smart girl.

"Hello Ayaka. I'm doing fine. I assume your doing the same?"

"Of course! Hey, I plan on enrolling into Hope's Peak Academy!"

"Really? That's awesome. You'll have so much fun there."

"Yes, and then we can be best friends again!"

"Erm... okay. Well, I'm in a hurry. I'll see you later."

"Bye Riki! Oh and one more thing..." Ayaka got a bit closer to me and handed me a black envelope.

"Here. It's from my family. Think of it as a gratitude for helping us all those years ago."

"Oh, um, thank you. This means a lot to me." I patted her on the head to show my thanks. "See ya later Ayaka." I walked back to my designated location. Has she really turned over a new leaf? Well, I hope she means well with this envelope.

...

...

"Heehee. I'm back into his heart! Now I just need to get more creative with my approach!"

Japan

Kuzuryu Household

8:00 P.M.

When I got there, a big figure had showed up to the door. Oh, this is their dad. He grew fond of me the moment we laid eyes on each other. I guess he sees something in me that he admires.

"Haha! Well, if it isn't Riki! I'm glad to see you! I'm assuming you are here to see Fuyuhiko?"

"Yes sir. Is he here?"

"Yep! You'll find him upstairs in the training room upstairs with Peko and Natsumi! Glad to have you here for the next few days!"

"Thank you sir." I bowed my head and went upstairs. When I got there, Peko and Fuyuhiko were in a fierce swordfight battle, with Natsumi at the edge of her seat watching. It ended with Peko as the victor, pinning Fuyuhiko to the ground like it was nothing.

"Damn Peko! You somehow managed to get even faster with your motions. That training is paying off. But don't over exert yourself. Promise?"

"I promise Fuyuhiko. Oh, hello Riki. When did you walk in?"

"I just walked in a little while ago. That was quite a battle I saw there. Well, I'm glad to be here for a little while."

"Same here. I assume Natsumi has already filled you in on everything right?"

"Yep. You also want me to tell you something about Ayaka?"

"Yeah. Hiyoko had told me that you and Ayaka were dating each other. I admit, it made me curious. You might have some information that can help turn the tide."

"Yeah, I'm curious too Riki. No offense to you, but how in the world did you manage to go out with The Queen of the Yakuza Underground?" Is that her nickname? Hmm, the more you know.

"Well, in that case, we can start from the beginning. How Ayaka and I started dating is actually really simple and cliche. I saved her from a bully."

"Wait, you serious? That's it?" Fuyuhiko sounded disappointed. I guess he was expecting a more complicated kind of story.

"Yeah. You could say it was love at first sight. She invited me to her house that same day and we just... bonded."

"It sounds like you two were in a very intimate relationship. I'm jealous Riki!" Why are you jealous Natsumi? You could easily get any guy you wanted to if you actually tried. Or... Nah, that can't be it.

"For the first few months, we were madly in love. It seemed like we were going to be married by the way we were showing our love. But, it wasn't all fun and games. She sometimes had me beat up some guys for her. I really didn't want to, but she had threatened to end our relationship if she didn't. Which now in hindsight, that should have been the first major red flag."

"Well, you were still a teenager. It's normal to think like that. But damn, you beating up some people? That's something I would pay to see."

"Fuyuhiko!" Natsumi hit him in the back of his head.

"Oww! It was a joke!"

"Still didn't like how you said it. Riki's better than that." Heh, that's Natsumi for ya.

"It's okay Natsumi. Continuing from earlier, one day she snapped at me really bad. At the time, I couldn't think of why she would do something like that. But now that I'm a bit older, I think I understand the reason why."

Actually, I think I already knew the reason why. I just wanted to deny it and suppress it inside my brain.

"I don't know if you know this, but Ayaka has a little sister."

"Wait, she does?"

"She's rarely mentioned among the family because she's adopted like me, but yeah. Her name is Lapis. She's actually one of my childhood friends. She's practically a maid who's also a student. They don't even address her as family." That would explain why Ayaka mentioned her as "that girl" than her little sister, now that I think about it.

"Whoa, I didn't even know that. But what does she have to do with this?"

"Well, I probably am a part to blame for this, but at one point, I felt like Ayaka didn't really love me that much. Then one day I went to her house to hang out with her, when I had ran into Lapis. I knew her since elementary school and I had a close relationship with her. So I started secretly hanging out with her more than Ayaka, and I had much more fun with her than I did with Ayaka. I had considered breaking up with her so I could be with Lapis, but I think she knew beforehand. If there's one thing I'll say about her, Ayaka is a very smart girl. She knows what she is doing."

(Flashback)

I had walked into Ayaka's room. I waited for her while she was using the restroom.

As I was waiting for her, I wonder, does she really love me like that? All I feel like she does is use me for her own personal gain. I mean, why else would I get my hands bloodied for someone like her? Am I doing this for love, or so that I don't feel alone again? I don't know, but either way, I feel like Ayaka could honestly do so much better than me. Maybe I should call it off-

"Riki? Is that you?" Hm? Who called out to me? When I turned to see who it is, it was Lapis. How else could I forget her luscious blue hair? I've known her since elementary school along with Seiko and the others. She's a really close friend of mine that had moved away due to "family issues". To see her after all these years, and more mature, I'm a bit love-struck.

"O-Oh, hey Lapis. Long time no see." I was immediately thrown off when she ran towards me and hugged me. She ran with so much force that we tumbled on to the bed, with her on top of me in a... rather inappropriate position. We both couldn't help but blush and then laugh it off. But Ayaka had finished using the restroom and... yeah, it was hard to even figure out a way out of this.

"Um, excuse me? Riki, what the heck do you think your doing?!"

"A-Ayaka, this isn't what it looks like-"

"And Lapis, you're supposed to be cleaning my room! Why are you all over my boyfriend?!"

"I-I'm sorry. It's just-"

"Nothing! I don't care what it is! Now get off of him or I'll tell mommy on you! You don't want to mess with me!" As she told her to do, Lapis quickly ran out of the room in tears. Lapis...

"Riki, why did you do this? You have the most popular girl in the world, and you'd rather hang out with her? Someone with no royal status among the family?" Wait, royal status? I thought your family were just known for making tea. What status could you possibly have that's considered royal?

"Um, not to be rude, but last I checked there's no royal status for tea. And what are you talking about with this royal status; you never said anything about this to me at all."

"Heehee, I guess it is time I tell you this. My family is actually a yakuza family. Soon, I will be the main leader of my family once I turn 18, and I will win that underground battle!" W-What? This girl is out of her mind!

"Wait, so what's up with the tea then?"

"You ever wondered why you would pass out for a few hours? Well, the tea we have planned has a hypnotic pill in there. That way, we can influence them in any way we want them too. I've used them on you too occasionally. And I've had a great time doing so." Wait, what?!

"Wait, so is that why I've felt a bit weird every time I've woke up? You did something to me?"

"Heehee, a girl never tells her secrets."

"You're freaking insane Ayaka! I can't do this anymore! I think we should see other people-" That's when she pulled a knife on me. W-Where did she get that?!

"Ooooh, I wouldn't try that at all Riki! Because if you do, I'll ensure nobody else can have you! Do you really want to try that?"s O-Oh my god, this girl is straight up yandere! Damn it, I can't find a way out to of this. It's almost like she planned this and knew it was going to happen. Wait...

Did she already know this would happen? Did she plan this ahead of time?

I gulped and said my next words carefully.

"N-No, I'm sorry that I said that. I still w-want to be with you." Argh... I hate saying that, but it's for the best. She patted my head.

"Good boy. Now, go home and never mention this again. Okay?" She looked at me with eyes that were devoid of a human being. It's almost like she turned into an AI.

"Y-Yes ma'am!" I took the major hint and ran out of the house. If this is how love is supposed to be...

I don't think I want to experience it ever again!

(Flashback over)

"W-Whoa, she is way more crazy than I thought she was! So how did you get out of the relationship if she was constantly threatening your livelihood?!" Natsumi was at the edge of her seat, waiting on what would happen next.

"One day, she just snapped on me. I don't even understand why to this day, but she got very upset and broke up with me. Then that next day, she was dating someone else as if I never was a part of her life at all."

"Wow. You definitely dodged a big bullet with her breaking up with you. You really managed to stay calm and not get flustered."

"Nah, I was definitely flustered. I just didn't show it. I felt like if I showed any kind of fear, she would have took advantage of it." Peko was nodding and walked up to me. She then patted me on the shoulder.

"Well, regardless, that's a good trait to have. This information will definitely be helpful during our battle with the Kiyama family. Thank you for telling us that tragic story." Well, I wouldn't exactly call it tragic, more horrific if anything. But, it's close enough.

"Well, I'm starving! How about we call it a night and rest up for the battle tomorrow? Also, school starts back up a few days after it ends, so we should try to be peaceful with our approach. If all else fails, then we can go brutal."

We all agreed on that and we went to go eat. After a little while, we went to sleep. I decided to sleep in the guest room. Fuyuhiko had decided to stay in the same room as me. He wanted to break down a few things before we went to sleep.

"Alright, so here's the deal. This underground battle is a two-part battle. The first one is negotiation, while the second is battalion. We can negotiate deals, usually at least 20 are set. Any ones that we don't like, which will be damn near all of them, we will get into a all out battle with them. Now, before I continue, there's a possibility that you might be majorly injured during this fight. I don't wish for you to do something you don't want to do, so if you want to back out now, tell me."

I knew the circumstances coming into this. Because of that, I stayed silent during it. I nodded to him, signaling that I understood the risks of this task.

"Alright then. So, here's the situation." He showed me a map of the site we would be at.

"Wait, is that the basement of the arcade?"

"Yeah, have you been there before?"

"Yeah, I went to numerous events that were under there. It's quite a spacious location. I pretty much know the ins and outs of that place."

"Well, we can just cut to the chase then. We're going to be sitting here." He pointed at the tables just behind the counter. "There's going to be five yakuza gangs there in all, and we are collaborating with one of them already who dislike the Kiyama family. So, the plan is to throw them off and get the upper hand on the negotiation phase. That way, they play a role in the battle and in the future. I'm fighting for two causes: our family name being respected once again, but also my own cause." Fuyuhiko sounded a bit down after that last word.

"Your own cause? If you don't mind me asking, could you tell me what that is?"

Fuyuhiko looked like he debated telling me or not. After a while, he relented and told me.

"Do you promise not to tell anyone? Or get jealous for that matter?" Hm? Why would I be jealous? I already have Seiko.

"I promise not to tell anyone, but what could you possibly have to tell me that would make me jealous?"

"Well, I already know one of Ayaka's negotiations. She already told me face-to-face. And truth be told, I hated it. Hated it so much I almost slapped her for saying something like that. It has something to do with you too."

"What is it?"

"She's planning to attempt to marry me on the spot. She's doing it to get you to react and be against it."

Huh?! Wait a minute, there are so many questions going through my mind right now.

1. How the hell did she know I was going to participate in that meeting? As far as I know, only Natsumi and Fuyuhiko have ever mentioned it to me at all.

2. What could she be possibly be going for with this trick? Does she still have feelings for me?

3. If that's the case, then what is in this envelope?

Wait, the envelope! I haven't read it yet! I quickly pulled it out of my hoodie pocket and opened it up.

"Hm? What is that?" I didn't even hear what he said. I read it out loud and it said:

I know your going to the underground battle tomorrow. If you try anything to ensure I don't get my way, I won't hesitate to hurt you and those around you! I'm pretty sure Mukuro and Chisa wouldn't want anything bad to happen to you. Heehee, just keep this in mind! Oh yeah, I lied about that being some sort of gratitude! See you tomorrow Riki!

Love, Ayaka Kiyama.

P.S. Tell Fuyuhiko I can't wait for tomorrow!

Whoa! That was a long break between the chapters. But I can happily say that you want have to worry about these long breaks anymore because I have officially gone through college for two and a half years now! I'm so proud of my self for persevering these few days. I'm glad that I can put it behind me for now and I can get back to doing what I love, making chapters for this series!

This was supposed to come out during Thanksgiving, but I've been stalled with so much activities and errands(I even lost the entire chapter at one point, which meant I had to type all of it out again! I did it for you guys though :D) that I haven't had the time to release any new chapters. I appreciate you guys for waiting this long and hopefully you won't have to wait longer like that again. I expect these next few chapters to get very lengthy, so be prepared!

Just a side note, but I hope everyone got what they needed during Black Friday. Meanwhile, I'm still trying to get a PS5, but Cyber Monday should be manageable(hopefully ;-;)

Riki somehow just continues to put himself in such dangerous and risky situations that he's starting to lose his true self. It seems like everyone is starting to ask a lot out of him and it is starting to take a toll on him mentally. Can he will himself to keep on going through these times, or will he start to lose himself and get irrational? Can Fuyuhiko and the others get out of the underground battle unscathed? How does Ayaka truly know everything, including knowing Mukuro and Chisa? And how much of a role will everyone truly play during this battle? Find out in the next chapter!
