Chapter 11: First Mission Part 2
Tank: BRING IT ON OLD MAN!
West: Oh I will!
[The energy from their one punch only brings huge amounts of destructive forces, still trying to land their strike, thrusting for the chance to overpower the other. The walls start falling down, and watching from afar, King observes the awesome power of the 7'3 elder, and the 8ft monster]
King: *excited* This energy! It's amazing!
Raymond: You think that's cool, you should see him when he's not holding back.
King: *shocked* HE'S HOLDING BACK!
Coco: Not just him, they're both holding back, judging by this force from this collision, they're only using 6 percent of their abilities.
King: WHAT?!
Raymond: *Panics* AW man I don't wanna be here when they go all out!
[Raymond continues to move forward into the room, Coco and King follow after, but as they move closer King turns his attention to West and Tank, looking back at their collision, knowing that their fight is only getting started.]
[Meanwhile with Luz's Team, they continue towards the top of the tower, heading to the top was the easy part, it was sneaking around that was a little difficult, as they pursue, they run into a hallway full of guards, and so they hide from plain sight, Luz hides with Kotoha, and A.X.E.L. hiding with Arthur all of them behind walls trying not to be seen, but Luz tries to look over the kunoichi, she shivers with fear and gets a little irritated with Luz not knowing that she is "invading" Kotoha's personal space]
Kotoha: *whisper* Hey can you get off of me?!
Luz: *whisper* I'm checking to see how many are up front!
Kotoha: *irritated whisper* Then stop getting up in my face!
Arthur: *whisper* Kami, knock it off!
Kotoha: *whisper* Stop defending her Arthur! Why are you even taking her side?!
Luz: *whisper* hey don't get mad at him!
Kotoha: *whisper* Don't tell me what to do bitch!
[Luz irritated with Kotoha finally snaps]
Luz: WHAT HAVE I EVER DONE YOU?!
[The guards notice Luz's voice from afar and walk towards it, as Luz goes on telling off Kotoha]
Luz: I've been working hard, and all you ever do is treat me like I'm nothing. What is your problem with me?!
Kotoha: My problem...My problem is you're a freak, you attract freaks all around you, you get into trouble, and you almost killed me!
Luz: That's because you wanted to start a fight!
Kotoha: A fight that you should have lost! You must be lucky where you're from, bet people love what you have in store. Oh wait, no they don't because all you ever do, is mess up, and do it to the point where your own mom doesn't even want you!
Luz: *gasp*
[After hearing those words, Luz remembered it all, what her childhood was like, how she couldn't fit in with Humans, she knew that not even her own mom could stand her actions. Kotoha's words filled her head with truths. Maybe she was right, she caused trouble for everyone around her, but the thought is interrupted, because Arthur stood in front of her]
Arthur: Kami! You take that back!
Kotoha: *gah* Why are you still defending her?!
Arthur: From everything I read, Luz may be reckless at times, and sure she got into trouble, but from the short time I knew her, she has more potential than any of us and is more of a warrior then you could ever be.
Kotoha: *Gasp* WHAT?!
A.X.E.L.: Hey guys I hate to ruin the moment. But your voices were so loud that the guards found us.
Everyone: Wait what?!
[They notice the guards have their weapons ready]
Coven Guard 1: Luz the Human, you are under arrest!
Arthur: Looks like we're fighting after all.
[Shatter Squad readies themselves for battle, both sides hold their positions, until the Coven guard advances towards the opposing group.]
A.X.E.L.: Alright Shatter Squad! Let's rock!
[A.X.E.L. advances first jumping forward and kneeing a guard to the face, and somersaults on the ground, landing perfectly, he then takes another stance and backhands a guard charging towards him, takes his stance again and performs a liver punch to another and yells]
A.X.E.L.: *Wachoo*
[a soldier attempts to strike Arthur, but Arthur parries with his sword, Arthur performs three swings, and a forwards thrust, standing behind him three guards standing in fear, until the force from Arthur's sword impacts them into falling]
[Kotoha throws three shurikens towards the guards, and begins to form symbols on her hands]
Kotoha: Illusion style, Shadow Clone Shuriken!
[The Shurikens form into multiple throwing stars, but the Coven guards block them with magic barriers; to them they manage to block weapons, but what they didn't know were the smoke bombs attached to them. Enshrouded by smoke Kotoha, holds one Kunai and covers it in lightning]
Coven guard: Where is she?!
[She rushes and takes down one of them with three trying to scout her out. As he tries to take down another, fire balls fly beside her and takes down to more Coven guards with one still standing]
Coven guard: Human!
[The Coven guard grabs Luz's hand, but Luz pulls him down and belts him in the face making him let go of her, she sweeps him and belts him another knocking him out]
Kotoha: I HAD THAT!
Luz: And I told you I'm trying to help!
[four more Coven guards surround them, but Kotoha throws two bombs while Luz throws an exploding fire glyph causing them both to be forced into a back to back position, the smoke fades, and all the guards are defeated]
Arthur: *not confident* That seemed too easy. Wasn't there a warden here?
[Suddenly huge footsteps boom through the room]
Kotoha: You had to ask.
[The footsteps get closer until a huge man, not taller than Tank appeared before them, dawning a plague mask and huge blue muscles, the first thing he sees is the most wanted human on the Isles.]
Wrath: Luz the human, it has been a while.
[His arm tentacles stretch towards Luz seeking to grab her, Luz braces herself, but in a turn of events A.X.E.L. grabs hold of the tentacles with one arm]
A.X.E.L.: You guys get going!
Luz: What?!
A.X.E.L.: You heard me. Get going!
Luz: Wait Animal We can fight him together.
Arthur: Luz, just leave him, once his instincts kick in and he sets his eyes on prey, there is no stopping him.
Luz: Prey?
Arthur: Don't kill him, Animal!
[Everyone tries to pursue ahead, but Warden Wrath thrives to get in their way but is stopped by a mere pull from A.X.E.L. arm]
A.X.E.L.: *serious* Hey warden, forget those guys and focus on me. I'm your opponent now.
Warden: Hmm?
[Warden Wrath takes a good look at what he is dealing with, he senses the calm energy from him]
Wrath: Hahaha! Who are you supposed to be?
[The warden circles and attempts to intimidate his opponent]
Wrath: And don't you know who I am, I bring justice to this world, and destroy those who don't fit that dare oppose me. And from what I can see, you're just as much of a monster as all these other disgusting prisoners.
[A.X.E.L, watches his prey staring down at him, but deep down, he gets excited, and grins at the thought of battle]
A.X.E.L.: Well if you must know, The names Animal, well that's my code name real name is kind of confidential. But you on the other hand, I've heard many great things about you, how you manage to catch all the strays your ranking with the emperor.
[Warden Wrath feeling prideful with his words]
A.X.E.L.: But for some reason, he can't capture a simple human girl, and two powerless witches, kind of embarrassing if I were you.
[And now Warden Wrath is pissed and his blood begins to boil, at his insults]
Wrath: You dare insult ME!
[Wrath released all his tentacles and shows his fangs to the man before him, but still no reaction from Animal]
A.X.E.L.: Fangs and Tentacles, not bad but you could do better considering this is my first fight in the Isles.
[A.X.E.L.'s White aura begins to radiate from him]
A.X.E.L.: But...
[A.X.E.L. begins to change, claws coming out from his knuckles, spikes and armor forming on his legs and shoulders, and fangs beginning to stretch from his jaws]
A.X.E.L.: It will have to do!
[The beasts Aura then explodes into a white fire, and behind him a white tiger with waving hair coming from his legs and his mane]
A.X.E.L.: Spirit Power! White Tiger of the West, Byakko!
[Warden Wrath not intimidated by the powerful energy radiating from A.X.E.L. stands his ground]
A.X.E.L.: You may be powerful in your own world, but where I'm from, I'm...the BEAST KING! *ROAR*
[insert Tiger roar]
[A.X.E.L. begins to charge towards Warden Wrath like a Four legged beast, while Warden Wrath does the same, both continue to charge at each other and a shock wave is formed from their clash]
[Then back to West and Tank still trying to force the other into submission. Both decide to end the shockwaves, and put their fist down, standing tall as if nothing happened]
King: Hey they stopped! Why?!
Coco: Oh judging by their breathing patterns, and composure, I can tell that was just a warmup for them.
King: A WARM-UP!
Raymond: Warm-UP! That means they're gonna get serious!
Coco: *calm* how long till you are done scanning those runes?
Raymond: I'm working on it!
[West and Tank stand face to face, holding still, they both take in a deep breath and begin to laugh]
Tank: SO! This is the power of the great West Hercule, I'm impressed!
West: And you got a lot of power with that, judging that it was only 6 percent of your pow-
[Tank belts him in the face forcing him to slide a few feet away, but West still stands]
Tank: *excited* Less chit chat, and fight me Old Man!
[Tank lifts up a crate and hurls it towards West, but West manages to destroy it with his battle ax, his face then sees Tank attempting to land another blow. Instead West grabs his punch pulls it back, and headbutts the 8ft man]
Tank: GAH!
[Tank charges with both hands and West opposes with his hands as well, gripping each other, releasing their exploding aura, pushing each other to their limits forcing their Spirits to do the same, 3 seconds in and Tank begins to push the old man back slowly. But West pushes the giant's arms down and Lands two strong punches to the chest and one powerful uppercut to his stomach. But it would be enough to put him down, so Tank attempts a Right hook, West then dodges and delivers one punch each to his chest, back and face. He gets on the ground and performs a windmill, and lands two more kicks to his face, gets back and generates aura from his fist and gives him one more attack to finish it. Somehow though, Tank stills stand and takes it all in]
Tank: You know, Spirit Power isn't the only source of power I have. Omega Spirit, Unlock!
[his eyes begin to glow Red, and his Dark Blue Aura flares with Red flashes coming out]
West: What?! Omega?!
Tank: RAGE CHARGE!
[Coco observes the immense power boiling from Tank]
Coco: I better get in there, King keep an Eye on Raymond.
King: What are you going to do?!
[Coco turns around and winks at King]
Coco: Prevent my patient from dying.
[Coco runs towards them and a mint green aura flare from her]
Coco: Spirit Power, Wish granter Djinn!
[A green beefy man with a beard and two golden bands comes from her belt]
Coco: Activate Danger Wish!
[a dice then begins to roll, and lands on the number 2]
Djinn: Miss Grey, What will your pleasure be?
Coco: I'll need a rocket that can generate a shock wave strong enough to keep him down, and a bag of power beans.
Djinn: Very well!
[Djinn begins to wave his hands summoning smoke and creating the objects she desired, meanwhile Tank finishes his Rage Charge and attempts a full frontal kick at West]
Tank: NOW!
[Tank kicks West and pushes him far away onto the ground]
Tank: DIE!
[West lands on the ground and struggles to get up until Coco's voice reaches out to him]
Coco: Slayer, I suggest you move!
West: *angered* I'm doing the best I can!
Coco: No, I mean get out of my way!
[West then jumps out of her way and she fires the rocket Djinn made for her, Tank attempts to use it as a battery but it blown back due to the impact of the shockwave when it hit]
Coco: Slayer, are you okay?
West: I can manage.
Tank: Hahaha!
[Tank and West get a good look at the monster that still stands]
Tank: I did my job, now it's their turn! Watts! Send out the dogs!
[From a distance Watts watches Tank as he gives the signal]
Watts: I guess it is my turn.
[Watts Aura bursts a beige color, and summons a puppet holding two more puppets]
Watts: Spirit Power, Puppeteer Marionette!
[Watts then uses the puppets string to summon his creations and attack Shatter Squad]
Watts: Go, my creations and destroy them!
[Suddenly 5 objects fall from the sky and surround West and Coco, the objects the mutate into Giant stone alien guardians]
Tank: Meet the Elites! Our new monsters!
West: Agh SHIT!
Tank: Attack!
[The monsters than hurdle towards West and Coco as the other two begin to fight]
[Back to Luz's team, after walking tons of stairs, they manage to get to the top of the tower.]
Arthur: *breathes heavily* Ok *weez* the vault should be just up ahead, we just gotta catch our breath, and we should be fine.
[Arthur pulls out his holophone and calls Raymond]
Arthur: Raymond...*weez* status update.
[Raymond speaks from the holophone]
Raymond: Well I have good news and bad news. The good news is, I managed to scan the runes.
Arthur: What's the bad news?
[From Raymond's side of the mission]
Raymond: The bad news is well, you know that Tank guy you fought at the market and met Luz. He's here, and he's got backup. Crystal and Slayer are fighting them, but I don't think Slayer can last much longer. What's it like on your side?
[from Arthur's side]
Arthur: We ran into the Warden, but A.X.E.L.'s taking care of it.
Raymond: Man, I almost feel bad for him.
Luz: I agree the Warden is really strong.
Raymond: No, I mean I feel bad for the Warden.
Luz: Why?
Arthur: Let's just say, when someone fights A.X.E.L., *tch* it doesn't end well.
Luz: Oh.
Arthur: Raymond, just keep an eye on everything there, we'll just grab the Necronomicon, and be on our way.
Raymond: Copy that.
[They both end the call]
Arthur: Alright you two, let's grab it and go.
[The trio walk towards the barrier, Luz looks around]
Luz: This seems a bit too easy.
[Arthur looks at her]
Arthur: Why do you think that?
Luz: I mean when I was here the first time there were no guards, but then when I got outside the barrier they appeared.
Arthur: Hm, there were no guards when we came up here.
Luz: And usually places like this are full of guards. Something's not right.
[The trio keep walking towards the barrier until they here and electric sound]
Kotoha: Wait! Did you hear that?
Arthur: Yeah, something's here.
[Arthur unsheathes his sword and takes his stance. Luz get's her glyphs and Kotoha got ready to fight, the electric bolt keep dashing around them, circling its prey, waiting to strike from the Shadows, Arthur closes his eyes, and listens for the right time to strike, as the sound moves in closer, he senses it closer too...]
Arthur: OWLET WATCH OUT!
[Arthur pushes Luz to the side as the lighting emerges and transforms into Viper about to land a killing blow, but is stopped by Arthur's sword, he parries her claws away from him and he pushes her back. But she manages to land on her feet with a look of death in her eye]
Viper: Agent Arthur...to what do I owe the pleasure?
Arthur: What? Are you looking for a rematch?
[Arthur swings his sword back and takes his stance]
Viper: Maybe...but I have more pressing matters to attend too. One of them being that armour piece in there.
Kotoha: Well you're not getting it!
[Kotoha dashes forward and summons her spirit to battle]
Kotoha: Spirit Power! Storm God of Mischief Susano'o!
Arthur: Kami no!
[Arthur reaches his hand out but Kotoha pushes forward, and Viper releases a magenta aura]
Viper: *tch* fine *calm* Spirit Power.
[Her Aura bursts and behind her appears a gentlemanly criminal wearing a bag over his head and a top hat over that, holding a knife]
Viper: Whitechapel Murderer. Jack the Ripper!
[Viper's claws begin to glow, while Kotoha summons her swords. The two clash their blades, and begin to swing them rapidly ten slashes per second, targeting each other's bodies, every swing blocking another. Viper wait for the right moment and after a few more swings, she contracts into lightning and hurls herself towards Luz]
Kotoha: What?!
Arthur: Owlet!
[As she inches closer, Luz reacts with summoning her Spirit]
Luz: Spirit Power! Good Witch Azura!
[Azura appears and hands Luz her staff, Luz then draws a light glyph, transforms her weapon into a blade forms a Ice Wall]
Viper: huh?
[Viper emerges from her bolt and stops in front of the wall, Luz then jumps above her and fires lightning from her staff, but Viper avoids it and lands three feet away from where the Lightning struck]
Viper: *calm* Lightning huh? Guess they have been teaching you things.
[Three Kunai then explode next to her, but she bolts away in time, and Kotoha is above her]
Kotoha: *PISSED* DON'T IGNORE ME BITCH!
[Kotoha throws her sword and both spin towards her, Viper blocks them both and fling them to other parts of the room]
Viper: *bored* That's the best you got?
Kotoha: *TCH*
[Kotoha forms symbols on her hands]
Kotoha: Lightning style!
[Susanoo appears and shoots lightning into her hands]
Kotoha: Lightning sword!
[Her hands are covered in lightning, and thrusts her hand towards her but Viper blocks it yet again, Kotoha attempts to do it with the other hand, but she still can't land it, she keeps swinging again and again but every attempt just keeps missing, causing her blood to boil.]
Kotoha: *angered* Fight me you coward!
[Viper raises her eyebrow]
Viper: Coward?
[Viper than performs a butterfly kick to the face and lands it]
Viper: Someone like you isn't ready to be on par with what I have in store.
Arthur: Kami, don't let her get to your head!
Viper: You're supposed to be a ninja, yet you act like a wild beast!
Kotoha: Shut up!
Viper: Honestly you lack the discipline. And the strength. You can't land a single hit on me. Let alone strike me when wide open.
Kotoha: Shut up!
Viper: I know people like you. Always trying to fight the weak ones just to look strong. Always picking fights, and only striving to be the best only to get praise from your seniors. I bet you only want the praise because you couldn't receive it from anyone else.
[Luz listens to her words]
Luz: (Wait what?)
Kotoha: Shut Up!
Viper: What? Didn't have any friends. only beat the crap out of people that take away the attention just because you want more.
[Luz looks at Kotoha hearing Viper's words, thinking about Kotoha's situation, knowing that she never had any friends when she was a kid, reminding her of herself on earth.]
Kotoha: Shut up!
Viper: *hmph* If someone like you wants me at my best, then so be it!
[Viper closes her eyes]
Viper: Iota Spirit! Unlock!
[Vipers eye begins to glow red and her Magenta aura flares with Red strands coming out of it. Arthur then thinks about the last words that came from her mouth]
Arthur: Wait, did she just say...Iota?
[As her Aura flares, Kotoha feels the pressure coming from her]
Kotoha: *gasp*
[The pressure she feels is the same Luz gave off when she fought her, she then has flashes from her battle, thinking about the feeling of death. Luz walking up to her with that energy made her feel as if she was fighting a God. Her sweat begins to fall from her face while trying to stand her ground]
Viper: Well...ready for round two?
