Chapter 20: A Plan in Action
[Events after Luz's capture Amity has trouble deciding if she should help out the team, thinking of the chances they'd even want her help. But if Luz was captured, she knew that she had to rescue her.]
Amity: I have to help Luz.
Ronin: Helping your crush Amity?
Amity: Huh?
Ronin: You sure you would want to do that? Especially at a time like this?
Amity: What are you talking about? Luz needs me. If I can at least lend a bit of assistance I would.
[Behind Ronin's mask hides a sly smirk. She walks over to Amity and begins to convince her of why she shouldn't go help Luz.]
Ronin: *sly* Does she, though? I mean think about it. You practically scared her. You hurt her friends. And if it were to get out of hand. You may end up killing her in the process.
[Amity begins to have doubts thinking she is right. She can't control this thing. But she shakes her head and snaps out of it.]
Amity: No, Luz would never want me to leave her behind. I finally have someone who cares and I'm not going to let anyone hurt her.
Ronin: But what about the powers you possess. You go and rescue her, you'll only be wasting it. But fight with me, you'll never have anyone in your way, and make her yours, isn't that what you wanted?
[Amity stops]
Ronin: Did I even mention, what your so called allies plan to do with the armour once all of it is gathered. Or what those runes may lead to.
[Amity continues to keep still]
Ronin: That man, Arthur, is keeping things from you and your friends. Secrets about this mission, the powers you possess, maybe something about Luz you may not even know. Arthur is a man of secrets. Do you ever question why the armour was here in the first place.
[Amity grips her fist and decides to run away, Warlord attempts to go after her but is halted by his partner]
Warlord: Shouldn't we go after her?
Ronin: No, I believe my words have gotten to her. After all once the trust shield has made contact. A link is formed between me and the one I use my power on. And besides.
[Ronin, lifts the orb Amity stole from Principal Bump's office]
Ronin: We have some work to do.
[Amity continuously runs towards the base, with multiple thoughts racing through her head, confused about why Arthur would keep secrets from everyone, what the runes they found lead to. What he knows about Luz, that everyone else doesn't. As she races towards her friends, her eyes are dead set on one thing and one thing only, saving Luz.]
Amity: (I have to hurry!)
[A few minutes later she runs into the squad trying to discuss what their plans are]
Amity: Guys I'm here! What's happening?!
Willow: Amity thank Titan!
[Willow quickly embraces her "friend"]
Gus: *panic* The squad is discussing what we will do next. With Luz captured and all.
[King bangs his head on the wall in regret]
King: I couldn't do anything!
Willow: King it's not your fault. We all didn't know.
[Willow turns to Amity]
Willow: Amity, where have you been?
Amity: I was...
[Amity is briefly interrupted by Raymond]
Raymond: Willow, Gus, King you're needed in the War Room.
[he quickly sees Amity and is frightened]
Raymond: *scared* Oh hehe hey Amity. You good.
Amity: *awkward* uhm yeah I'm fine.
Raymond: *awkward* Uh okay, well since you're here, guess you can join us.
Amity: You sure it's alright?
[Willow takes Amity hand]
Willow: It's alright Amity. Come on.
[The Hexsidians follow Raymond into the War room, when they enter, Arthur is sitting down on a chair with a look of anger. Coco and Kotoha prepare their weapons. Eda argues with West while A.X.E.L. and Lilith try to calm them down. And Raymond interrupts]
Raymond: Pops, I brought them.
West: Alright, if we are all present. Let's begin. The plans have changed. As we all know, Luz has been taken for unknown reasons. And we believe that he has been taken by Watts and his Elites.
[Everyone settles down into their seats. West opens a hollow screen, and projects a picture of the one who captured Luz, a bald man in glasses.]
West: Raymond what do we know about him?
Raymond: From everything I've searched, he was a former professor and researcher at Galaxy Labs on Chorus. He was one of the top engineers and scientists they have ever laid eyes upon. He was known and was highly commended for his research on experimental soldiers. But his experiments got out of hand due to numerous deaths of test subjects which were actual people. And was arrested and supposedly sentenced to 75 years in prison. His escape was unknown. And his Spirit Power is the Marionette which is a Monarch type Spirit Power that controls any soldier he creates like the Elites, corpses, and mortal beings.
Kotoha: Why would he take Luz though?
Raymond: That we are not sure. But maybe this explains the disappearances of multiple witches.
Gus: Disappearances? You mean those witches in the infirmary?!
A.X.E.L.: How do you know that? You know what? You were bound to know about it eventually.
Coco: Meta has been stealing magic from various witches for the past few months. We don't know why. But we managed to find their bodies. They are alive, but powerless.
Willow: Is this why you don't want us to rely on our magic?
West: Exactly. If they steal your magic you're finished. Luckily this is what you were training for.
Kotoha: So what's the plan?
West: Since we can't go all at once. We'll have to split into two teams. Team A will consist of Arthur, Willow, King, Gus, and Coco, their job is to track down the Elites, rescue Luz and maybe rescue others who have been held captive.
Eda: Me and Lily are going too.
West: Eda!
Eda: I said we are going! If my kid is involved. I'm coming, I don't care what kind of reason you have all I know is I've been training, and this is the perfect opportunity to let loose.
[West raises an eyebrow and glances at Lily, who shrugs, showing that she agrees with her.]
West: Alright, you can go with Team A.
A.X.E.L.: The rest of us who will retrieve the next piece of the Armour will be Team B.
[Everyone nods in agreement except for Amity, who is confused as to why she wasn't chosen for the mission.]
Amity: Wait, what's my role in this?
[Everything suddenly shuts down, the team feeling awkward, until Kotoha Speaks up]
Kotoha: I think she should go with Team A.
[Amity surprised to hear Kotoha rooting for her]
Arthur: I second that.
Raymond: *shocked* Wait, are you guys serious?
[Amity questions why they would want her to go, she tried to harm them, but West coughs before Amity could say anything]
West: *ahem* It's best not to let problems of the past become a situation in the future. Besides, if she wants to help, the more the merrier.
[Amity awkwardly smiles]
Amity: Thank you sir.
West: Okay, remember to stick to your codenames, stay with your teams and make it out alive. We got two objectives, let's make it happen people.
Shatter Squad: YESSIR!
[Raymond's Jet takes off, while everyone on Team watches, until King has a sudden realisation]
King: Hold on a second, if they have the jet? How are we going to find Luz?
Coco: That's what I'm here for. Since our last mission I managed to grab a piece of an Elites. And began to analyze it by dissection, and with the sight of fingerprints and Spiritual Anomalies within them. I created a tracker to trace their place of origin.
[The witches are confused with every word she said]
Eda: English please?
Arthur: She took apart a monster, and created a tracking device.
Eda: Uh?
Coco: I know where they are.
Eda: Well why couldn't you just say that?!
Coco: Are we really going to argue about this?
Lilith: Let's just go.
King: Are we going to walk?
Arthur: I have something that can help.
[Following the Elites, Two vehicles rush on the open dirt.]
Gus: *loud* What's this human vehicle called?
Arthur: *loud* It's called a car.
Gus: *loud* This is amazing, who knew teleportation without the use of animals could be this awesome!
King: I know right!
Eda: Now this mama's kind of ride!
[With Eda's hair waving through the air, she cheers in excitement while riding the vehicle. On the other car, its the opposite]
Lilith: *scared* Is it safe to be going this fast?!
Coco: I'm pretty sure it's fine, no speed limit right?
Willow: I think I'm gonna puke! *hrmph*
[Willow covers her mouth preventing herself from vomiting.]
Coco: No getting motion sickness while you're here. You don't want to end up like Raymond.
Lilith: What happened to Raymond?!
Coco: You don't wanna know. But if ever you do vomit, put it in a bag.
Lilith: Why?
Coco: It's for research purposes.
[Once more Lilith has chills sent down her spine, meanwhile Amity continues to think about Luz, with her hand on her chin and leg up, it was the only thing she can think about.]
Amity: (Don't worry Luz, I'm coming)
[At one of Meta's Hideouts. The Elites come back safely, gently landing on the landing zone. With Luz muffling from their grasp, they forcefully place her on a table cuffing her onto the device. And unwrap their hands]
Luz: *wheeze* *pants*
Watts: That will do. You may go now.
[The Elites leave the lab]
Luz: Who or what are you?!
Watts: Hahaha. Relax Ms. Noceda, I wouldn't recommend struggling. It would be a waste of energy.
Luz: Maybe if you let me out I'd kick your ass in two minutes tops.
Watts: Please Ms. Noceda you know you can't defeat me. Plus it would be better for both of us if you would stay still. For the next couple of minutes.
Luz: Well maybe if you...
[Luz then notices his head]
Luz: Wow you're so...bald.
[anger stimulates through Watts' head]
Watts: *ANGER* BALD! YOU DARE CALL ME BALD! JUST SO YOU KNOW YOUNG LADY I'M ONE OF THE GREATEST SCIENTISTS CHORUS HAS EVER KNOWN! AND YOU DARE SPEAK LOWLY TO SOMEONE OF HIGHER INTELLIGENCE!
Luz: Sorry. Didn't know you'd be sensitive about it.
Watts: Oh you're sorry now! But you'll be begging for forgiveness once I'm through with you.
Father: Uh sir if I may.
Watts: WHAT!
[The Father begins to beg in fear]
Father: *scared* I brought her just like you asked. Will you please let my family go!
Watts: Oh of course. It's not like I have any use for them anymore. Bring them out please.
[The Father smiles with his mouth open as he watches the doors unfold. But as they continue to move, his family is revealed to be different. With each passing movement, the father's eyes turn from gladness to trauma.]
Father: *terrified* Wha! Wha!
[The gates reach the end, and reveal the mother implanted metallic armour, and a robotic scorpion claw and tail.]
Father: *terrified**silently What did you do?
[next to her is his son wearing the exact same armour, but his legs are replaced with that of a Grasshopper along with spiked arms.]
Father: *Terrified* *screams* WHAT DID YOU DO?!
[Luz shocked at the Father's family only feeling sorry to the man]
Luz: *angered* You bastard, what did you do to them?!
Watts: What did I do? I'm only helping them.
Luz: Help them?!
Watts: Don't you understand, this is the next step in evolution, think about it?! There are thousands of people who would pay for technology such as this. Imagine hundreds of bionic soldiers that crush armies in an instant. No need for puny flesh driven hearts. All you need is power. And I'm giving it to them!
Luz: By turning them into monsters?!
Watts: Monsters?! These things can slay Gods! I can use them to bring about a new age. I can destroy everyone who rejected my genius! When they first learned of my research on Super Soldiers, they made me the top of their field. I forced many into experimentation. And when they found out what I was up to. They terminated my project! They terminated the future! With me, we wouldn't need Spirit Power to fight! We could use my weapons to conquer worlds! And look at you so called Witches, you waste your talents, and your lives. You could use your powers for more! You can use my gifts for more! Don't you think so Ms. Noceda!
Luz: This power was meant to protect people! Not, kill them! Don't you see that your experiments are only harming people!
[Watts grits his teeth in rage]
Watts: You just don't get it! You know what?! Maybe You'll get the chance to understand it first hand! By giving you...
[Points to her]
Watts: What you truly need.
[Luz gulps knowing what might happen to her.]
[The rescue team arrives a few feet away from their destination.]
Arthur: Alright team we'll park here and move 30 ft east. The enemy base should be there. And if Watts is there, so is Luz.
Amity: 30 ft?! Shouldn't we keep moving on these?!
Coco: It would ruin the element of surprise. If Watts knew we were coming, he would probably send a swarm of elites.
Lilith: And some of us aren't prepared for combat.
Arthur: Plus we might need a way to get back.
Amity: But?!
Willow: Amity I think it would be best to listen to them.
[Amity turns away and agrees to the plan. The plan pushes through and the rescue team moves east towards the woods. A few minutes pass and the team are into the woods at least 25 feet, Amity decides to ask Arthur a few questions]
Amity: Arthur?
Arthur: Yeah?
Amity: Can I ask you something?
Arthur: Of course, what's on your mind?
[with plenty of thoughts in her head, she tries to think of what to ask first, with the question she wants to ask, she would be aware that Arthur could become suspicious. But she decides to ask anyway]
Amity: Uhm, have you ever heard the concept of Death Type Spirit Power?
Arthur: I happen to know some people with the power. Why do you ask?
Amity: Is it true that, if one were to have this power, they have to exchange their soul in order to gain it?
Arthur: That is correct.
[Arthur pauses for a few minutes and realizes how Amity knows that information, he turns to Amity with shock]
Arthur: Wait how do you know that?
Amity: *guilty* I may have run into someone
who knew about the Beta.
[Arthur Stops]
Arthur: What?! Who?!
Amity: I...
Arthur: It was Ronin wasn't it.
Amity: Wait what, how do you know?!
Arthur: Amity, I have the fragment of logic. Plus no one else in this world except for us and Meta know about them. But I want to know, how does she know about it?
Amity: She says she has a fragment as well. It had barrier-like abilities. Made me feel like I could trust her.
Arthur: I'm guessing she has Theta, the fragment of Trust. And I'm guessing she unlocked a portion of what's inside.
Amity: *sigh* yes.
Arthur: Is there anything else I should know?
[Amity knew there was more to it than that, but she decided to keep it to herself.]
Amity: No.
Arthur: Alright then.
Amity: If you know someone who fought with a Death Type Spirit Power, how exactly did she unlock it? According to Ronin I had to make some type of deal?
Arthur: Well when my friend made a deal with her Spirit power. She didn't actually sell her soul. It's just it's not something you can control on a whim. A Death Type Spirit will hold onto your soul while you fight in the real world.
Amity: Meaning?
Arthur: They will hold onto it unless you fail to keep your contract.
Amity: What kind of contract?
Arthur: Picture this, let's say you gain the powers of a death God, they will hold onto your soul while they give you power. But in order to gain that power, you need a specific set of conditions. If you follow those conditions, then you can fight. But fail to meet them, they take your soul and you become their lackey for all eternity.
Amity: Wait what?!
Arthur: My friend's deal with them was that she would use it to protect her family. So far she was able to keep it.
Amity: So can I make any deal with them?
Arthur: If you are willing to commit to it.
Amity: *sigh* I see.
[Coco stops all of them]
Coco: Alright everyone, we are here.
[Everyone stops to see the front of the cave]
Coco: Luz should be in there.
Willow: And that Watts guy.
Arthur: Good thing we are in our combat uniforms.
[Willow reveals to be wearing an archer uniform, bare feet and arms wearing the weighted wristbands and leaves wrapped around her legs. Gus wears a Light blue and yellow Ninja Uniform with two yoyos wrapped Diagonally around his torso, Green leg armour, a shoulder pad on his right shoulder and his Green headband that Nue left him. King wears a Pirate hat and coat. Eda wears her usual outfit, but with a black cape, shoulder armour, silver high heeled boots, an arm length glove, and a talon glove on her right hand. Lilith wears a scaled dress, aqua scarf, and shoulder and arm armour with a black glove on her left hand. And lastly Amity who was wearing a skeleton armour with a light red arm length glove that have three spikes coming out on the right side, and an maroon arm brace on the left side, with black stockings that cover her feet, a lavender skirt, blue hair band, and skeleton armour with shoulder armour.]
King: I really don't get why I look like my clothes came from a closet.
Eda: Relax, you look fine. But Willow, can you handle being barefoot.
Willow: West, trained me for this. I believe I can manage.
Gus: I think we all look great.
Coco: Now that most of you are trained it's time for codenames. Willow, your codename is Garden, Gus is Yokai, Eda is Phantom Owl, and Lilith will be Raven. As for Amity, we're not sure what we are working with so she's on hold.
Arthur: No, I got something for her.
[everyone turn their attention to Arthur, especially Amity]
Arthur: From this point on, your codename is Enma. After one of the great death Gods.
Amity: It's better than nothing. As long as I can help.
Arthur: Alright we don't know what's in there but we better be prepared. Shatter Squad, move out.
[Everyone softly moves into the cave, with everything prepared, watching their surroundings waiting for the enemy to attack]
Willow: Wait!
[Everyone immediately stops and observes as she closes her eyes]
Willow: We're not alone.
[The team get their weapons ready, Arthur unsheathing his sword, Coco cocking her shotgun, Eda and Lilith with their glyphs, Gus with his Yoyos King with his Cutlass, and Amity with her abomination.]
Willow: Spirit Power. Celtic Nature Goddess Abnoba!
[her Bow appears and slings an arrow back]
Willow: Seed Arrow, popping Seeds!
[She fires the arrow and it explodes into seed like bullets, taking out multiple enemies surrounding them]
Arthur: Get ready!
[The elites appear and begin to attack, Arthur moves forward and cuts down two of them, shrugs his shoulder and blocks a hook to the face and cuts down another]
Arthur: Spirit Power! Crimson Dragon!
[The Dragon appears beside him]
Arthur: Burn them down!
[Crimson Dragon releases scorching hot breath onto the field setting enemies ablaze. Willow, loads another arrow]
Willow: Seed Shot, Roses Thorns!
[She releases it, and transforms it into a thorned rose impaling an elite, another one comes from behind her, she reacts by spinning and uppercuts him in the gut, forcing it into the ceiling of the cave]
King: Fear the King and Captain!
[King summons Peter Pan and has it chow down on the Elites]
King: *Maniacally* HAHAHAHAHAH
Gus: Check me out! Shadow Clone times four! [Four clones appear]
Gus: Nue offer me your assistance!
[Nue appears behind him and commands his Clones to latch onto four elites, Gus forms signs with his hands and unleashes his powers.]
Gus: Exploding Shadow Clones.
[The Clones self destruct, destroying the Elites and those around them, Eda and Lilith go back to back and throw multiple Glyphs at them]
Eda: Glyphs won't be enough!
[Eda prepares her sword and decapitates and elite, Lilith does the same]
Lilith: This is going to be a while!
Amity: Abomination fight!
[The abomination charges at the Elite but is immediately destroyed]
Amity: What?!
[The elite prepares to maul Amity, but is shot down by Coco's Shotgun]
Coco: You're welcome.
[She cocks it]
[Watts watches from his lab]
Watts: Let's watch your friend fight my monsters shall we?
Luz: Come on guys, you can do this! They're kicking their asses as you can see.
Watts: Hmph.
[The team finishes off the Elites]
Arthur: That should be the last of them. Let's keep moving.
[The team moves forward while Amity clenches her fist, and follows them]
[Watts continues to watch them]
Watts: Okay, that won't be enough to stop them, I guess it's time to send in the stragglers.
[Watts activates the speakers surrounding the cave]
Watts: Hello you beautiful people, I believe you know me as Watts. And I believe you are here because of a certain friend. Say hi.
Luz: Guys! Don't get closer it's a..
Watts: yup that's enough out of you.
Amity and Arthur: Luz?!
Watts: Anyway, I believe this is as far as you all go. I'll leave you to my newest experiments and use you as practice dummies! Good luck!
[A Wall begins to fall from the ceiling, and Arthur pushes Amity Eda and Lilith forward. The wall lands on the ground separating them from the rest of the group.]
Amity: Arthur?!
Eda: What are you doing?!
Arthur: I just saved you from a falling wall. At least say thank you!
Lilith: What do we do now?
Arthur: You guys go ahead, get Luz, and come back for us later.
Amity: But Arthur!
Arthur: Amity, Luz needs you right now, I know you can do this! With or without Spirit Power! Now get going, the rest of us will catch up with you!
[Amity sighs and decides to agree with the plan]
Amity: Alright.
Eda: Come on kid let's go.
[The trio move on ahead]
Arthur: Alright now all we have to do is.
[An Alarm blares out of nowhere, and doors open]
Gus: That can't be good.
[Four monsters begin to come out.]
King: Bring it on!
Willow: More elites?
Coco: No, they look different.
[One monster has bull horns and buff armour, another has penguin armour, the third has ladybug armour and the last one has tiger claws. And one thing they all had in common, they were all witches]
Gus: Oh my Titan, those are people!
Coco: Guess Watt's profile was right about some things.
Willow: I don't know if I can kill actual people.
Arthur: Don't kill them, at least try to knock them out. Until we can find something.
[Watts gives the signal to fight Shatter Squad]
Watts: Get them.
[The four monsters begin the assault while Shatter Squad retaliates.]
[The away team arrive at Lake Lacuna and leave the airship one by one, Raymond continuously taps on his tech brace]
Raymond: Alright, according to the map the Armour piece should be somewhere above the lake.
Kotoha: Above?
Raymond: You know, hovering over the lake, something like that.
A.X.E.L.: You mean like that?
[He points at the center of the lake, in the center, a shoulder plate floats above the lake waiting for someone to grab hold of it.]
Raymond: Oh.
West: Animal, you think you can get it.
A.X.E.L.: Something like that? Should be easy enough.
[A.X.E.L. inhales a bit of air calming himself. Allowing a vermillion Aura to radiate from his body.]
A.X.E.L.: Spirit Power! Vermillion Bird of the South! Suzaku!
[A.X.E.L sprouts vermillions coloured wings along with talons on his feets, he zooms over to the piece, gently picks it up with his claw, and flies back gracefully. Dropping it in Raymond's hand.]
Raymond: This almost seems too easy.
Kotoha: Please don't say that. Whenever someone says that something bad always happens.
Raymond: Only if you jinx it.
West: Let's just get back before..
[West immediately feels multiple auras with his Earth sense]
West: Oh no!
Raymond: What?
West: They're here.
Raymond: Who?
[Kotoha and A.X.E.L., also feel the hostile auras]
A.X.E.L.: Crap someone's coming!
Kotoha: That can't be good.
Raymond: What are you guys talking about?
[Raymond places his goggles over his eyes, and sees six hostiles walking in their direction]
Raymond: Ok now I see it. Six hostiles. But they could be friendly?
[A wave of light comes hurtling towards them, they all dodge, except for Raymond who is saved by Kotoha]
Raymond: WHOA! NOT FRIENDLY!
[Five members of the Meta appear before them, revealing themselves one by one, and making his entrance, dragging his right arm blade through the ground, a adult male in demonic armour walking step by step, fog begins to fill the area, with glowing red eyes and a fierce aura, Shatter Squad knew that whatever they were up against, there was only one person with an Aura that is filled with so much darkness, One]
West: One.
A.X.E.L.: Didn't expect for the big boss to show up at a place like this.
West: Stay sharp team, you don't know what he can do.
[The two strongest members ready themselves for battle, as for Kotoha, fear and trauma run through her mind, with the knowledge that this was the man who murdered her mother. But Kotoha had to snap out of it because if she didn't she would only hold her team back.]
Kotoha: *serious* (Get it together Kami, you got this!)
[Kotoha summons her Musashi blades. As for Raymond, he readies his barrier and grabs a nearby stick]
One: Shatter Squad, at last we meet.
West: How dare you show your face to us!
One: How dare I. You have something that rightfully belongs to me.
A.X.E.L.: If you want it you're going to have to get it asshole!
Sharkface: You shut your mouth you disgusting beast! No one talks to the master in such a rude manner.
Mohawk: *scoffs* Look who's talking.
West: If it's a fight you all want, then we'll gladly accept your challenge.
[One closes his eye, and moves a step forward]
One: I'm not here for you. I'm here for Luz. Where is she?
Kotoha: Owlet's not here. One of your lackeys captured her.
One: What are you talking about?
Raymond: Dude, your crazy scientist guy kidnapped her.
[One's frown grows deeper]
One: Tank! What is the meaning of this?!
Tank: *terrified* Uh, Watts had one of the witches capture the girl.
One: *grgh* Fine, I'll deal with him later. But for now. They will suffice.
[One continues to move forward with his arm sword and shotgun ready.]
Mohawk: Finally some action.
One: *pissed* NO! You all stay back! Just watch!
Mohawk: Hmph, *sarcastic* Okay boss.
[One walks a few more steps, and inhales, he opens his eyes, and releases his powerful energy onto the field. The energy was so dense that almost everyone fell to the ground by its mere presence.]
One: Spirit Power. God of Chaos! Seth!
[The Blood Red aura bursts all around him, and above him floats a giant Violet dragon baring claws and sharp fangs]
One: I'll desolate everything in my way.
West: Everyone be careful we don't want t-
Kotoha: YOU'RE MINE!
[Kotoha hurdles towards One attempting to attack]
West: Kami no!
[Kotoha leaps, and performs a 360 spin in order to cut One, but one blocks it with his index finger]
Kotoha: What?!
One: *serious* That won't be enough.
[One pulls her swords closer to him and back kicks Kotoha to the side, Kotoha tumbles and forcefully lands on her feet, she kneels down a coughs blood]
Kotoha: I'M NOT DONE!
[The Kunoichi makes another move, as she inches closer, One attacks using a palm strike, but Kotoha curls up and sweeps him, One flips backwards to perform a spinning heel kick, the force that she felt would have been enough to obliterate her head, however in the nick of time]
A.X.E.L.: Black Tortoise of the North! Genbu!

[A.X.E.L.'s wings reappear alongside his talons. In turn performs multiple flaming kicks in the air, he performs a spinning back kick, One shrugs his shoulder and blocks it from the side, the beast performs a flare, One coordinately sways side to side dodging each attack, A.X.E.L. out of frustration flies up and swoops down at him]
A.X.E.L.: Don't underestimate me!
[Performs a front kick and clashes with One's backhand]
One: It's you who shouldn't underestimate me.
[One takes aim with his shotgun and pulls the trigger in his head, Kotoha responds to it by throwing a lightning Kunai, stopping the bullet before it could land.]
Kotoha: Don't forget about me! RAGH!
[Kotoha throws her sword into the air and strikes it with the other, firing it at One, A.X.E.L. backs away quickly and rapidly spins generating setting his legs ablaze, while Kotoha performs two Jutsu's at the same time]
Kotoha: Illusion Style! Shadow Clone Blade blade time four,
Kotoha Clone: Fire Style, fire blade!
[The four blades are set on fire, along with A.X.E.L. throwing himself at their foe. One unlocks his Arm Sword, cuts all the swords down, and immediately grabs A.X.E.L.'s leg and throws him down. But A.X.E.L. kicks himself back up and changes his style]
A.X.E.L.: White Tiger of the West! Byakko!
[A.X.E.L. 's wings change to Claws and spiked bones popping from his body.]
A.X.E.L.: My turn,
[The beast aims his claws for the throat with One blocking it with his shotgun, Kotoha jumps at him but One holds her swords down with his.]
One: Pathetic.
Raymond: I don't think so!
[Raymond charges with the stick, jumps up and whacks him in the head, but immediately regrets it because the stick broke and did not deal any damage]
One: *serious* Really?
Raymond: I immediately regret that.
[One throws A.X.E.L. and Kotoha off of him and strikes Raymond with a Jab, Raymond counters it with a barrier wrapped in his fist to counterpunch. The two clash, So Raymond decides to attack again, but One throws both his hands to the side and jabs Raymond three more times, to his stomach, left arm, and face, A.X.E.L. and Kotoha rejoin the fight and ambush him from both sides. One blocks and attempts to use their attacks against each other. A.X.E.L. jumps kicks and Kotoha performs a lightning blade, One closes his eyes and takes his stance, his hands lightly tap their limbs, and begins to spin, and throws them both at each other, leaping midair. Kotoha and A.X.E.L. notice what's ahead, and avoid one another in time. West follows One into the air to grab hold of him, as he holds him he twists himself and body slams One to the ground. One stands on his feet, and uppercuts him to the stomach. Forcing West to cough, but he grits his teeth, grips One's arms and lifts him up to throw him to the ground.]
West: *serious* I'm not letting you hurt my children any longer.
One: *serious* Then you should pay more attention.
[One has a lock on to West's head, pulls the trigger once more, and right on time, West grabs the bullets with his teeth and spits them out. West smashes him down with all his base power, the smash was so powerful that it made One bounce into the air, West socks one, forcing him to fly into the woods destroying 30 trees. One stands his ground and summons Seth to take him back, Both are face to face and exchange a couple of blows. West manages to push back One into a corner, with Tank attempting to help him. But is stopped by Viper and Pyro]
Pyro: I wouldn't advise that.
Tank: What?!
Viper: Let the Commander have this fun.
[Both continue to exchange blows but suddenly One begins to over Power West with the next few strikes, the next attack West lands is grabbed by One who rapidly welts him with the same fist to the head]
A.X.E.L.: *pant* Raymond, is there *pant* any way we can beat this guy?!
Raymond: Hang on!
[Raymond releases his aura summoning his Spirit]
Raymond: Spirit Power! Great Genius Einstein!
[A German man wearing a lab coat with equations floating around him, a giant pair of glasses attached to his hands, and silly hair appear behind him]
Raymond: Alright just got to get a quick scan of this guy.
[Raymond begins his analysis, the scans recognize that One uses a chain sword and Shotgun, understand multiple martial arts styles like the five animals styles of Kung Fu, Shotokan Karate, Taekwondo, and Krav Magaw, but it was his powers that interested Raymond the most]
Raymond: Hang on a second.
[When Raymond searches his power scale, it was more powerful than everyone in Shatter Squad and in Meta Combined]
Raymond: Holy shit! This guy is too powerful for us!
Kotoha: What?!
Raymond: I'm serious, even if we fight him together this guy has a power level above all of us and Meta. It's so strong he can kill all of us.
A.X.E.L.: Does he have any weaknesses?!
Raymond: Nothing I can find!
Kototha: SHIT!
[One finishes a couple more jabs, but all of it was not enough to bring West down]
One: Still not enough?
West: Not enough.
[West shakes his head slowly, the other three members joins the fray and strike him together]
One: Really? You know what, none of this is worth it. Time to end this! Seth, lend me your power!
[Seth appears from behind him as One puts his palms together and gathers plenty of energy for a certain attack]
One: Sigma Spirit, Unlock!
West: What?!
[The gathered energy begins to shake the Isles, causing earthquakes from the Knee all the way to the Emperor's castle. Shatter Squad attempt to escape, but the area's energy becomes dense and forces everyone to the ground]
West: Damnit! Not this again!
A.X.E.L.: I can't move!
[Kotoha begins to panic and her ptsd kicks in]
Kotoha: No! Not again!
Raymond: What's he doing?!
[One creates a giant ball of Spirit Energy]
One: War Cannon!
[One and Seth release all the energy within the ball, destroying everything within a ten miles radius, the land is scorched along with Lake Lacuna becoming evaporated]
Mohawk: Holy Shit! Now I know never to mess with that guy.
[One walks back to Meta, with rage within him]
One: Where is the armour piece?!
Sharkface: My liege if I may speak. It should be somewhere under all of that.
[One turns to all the rubble around him, he growls at the destruction he caused]
One: Forget about it.
Sharkface: But my leige.
One: *angered* I SAID FORGET ABOUT IT! WE ARE LEAVING! As of now I want to deal with Watts.
Tau: Yes sir.
[They all flee the destroyed lake. And in the middle of all the destruction, a pile of rocks pop off an exploding barrier created by Raymond]
Raymond: *pant* *pant* Okay, we are not fighting him again!
A.X.E.L.: Is the piece okay?
Raymond: I think I got it.
[Raymond pulls it out of his lab coat]
West: *tired* Nice job Raymond.
[Everyone tired from the fighting and the energy released from One. They all notice that Kotoha faints in the middle as soon as the bubble deforms]
Raymond: WHOA!
A.X.E.L.: KAMI!
West: What happened?!
Raymond: I don't know, she just fainted!
[West picks her up]
West: Arthur won't be happy about this. Get her back on the ship, and check on the status of the rescue team.
A.X.E.L.: You got it Pops.
West: Let's head back.
Raymond: Let's just hope everyone else is doing fine.
[Amity, Eda and Lilith move further into the cave]
Eda: Luz should be at the end of this cave.
Lilith: Let's just hope she is alright.
[Suddenly giants stomps begin to shake the ground]
Amity: What was that?!
[The stomps come closer, until standing before them a giant Elite appears from the Shadows.]
Eda: Seriously, I was expecting more of a challenge.
Amity: Why did you have to say that?
Eda: Hmm?
[As the Giant Elite charges at them, a powerful force from above destroys it. It begins to pour a deadly aura]
Lilith: Edalyn, do you feel this?
Eda: Yup this will be a challenge.
Amity: Wait a minute is that?
[A giant light green man begins to stand up, cracking his neck and shoulders, and turns to see the people that he sought to challenge.]
