Chapter 52: The Aura Burst
[The Conqueror's clash continues both Luz and One don't let up]
[After 30 more seconds, the Clash explodes the cloud formation and leaving nothing but open sky]
[One grins under his helmet]
One: Now this will be fun!
[there is no cloud in sight, making One very excited for what's to come]
Luz: Is that all you can do?
[One darts his glance back at Luz and laughs with all balls of energy within his finger tips]
One: Try this on for size!
[One fires lasers from his fingers, and Luz speeds up while dodging each one of them gracefully]
[Luz spins her staff and launches a beam of light]
[One claps his hands together and fires back with a more extensive laser]
[An explosion happens in the process]
[The smoke begins to clear up Luz fans it out of the way and widens her eyes]
One: Don't get distracted on my behalf!
[One swings his blade down, and Luz defends the staff's shaft]
Luz: I was just waiting for you!
[Luz throws it up and aims at One's stomach]
Luz: FIRE!
[Luz's staff creates a fire glyph and launches a flamethrower-like attack at One]
One: This is what makes it fun!
[Luz smiles]
Luz: I'm just getting started!
[One laughs]
One: Music to my ears!
[Luz and One continue to clash]
[Eda and Amity yell at Arthur]
E and A: WHAT?!
Eda: You're saying Luz only has five minutes?!
Amity: And she'll be defenseless afterward?!
Arthur: that's about it.
Amity: But why would you let her do that?! Let alone give her that power!
Arthur: It's not me who gave it to her.
[Amity grabs Arthur's Collar]
Amity: You better start telling the truth. Or I swear that I'll make you suffer for everything you've done!
[Edric stops Amity]
Edric: Mittens! He's telling the truth. Arthur didn't give her the aura burst ability.
Emira: I can vouch for him. Luz had it when she was a kid.
[Amity is shocked]
Amity: What do you mean?!
[Eda begins to explain]
Eda: Boots, there's something you need to know.
[Luz and One continue their clash, Luz flies behind him and summons both Emira and Amity's flames to her staff]
Luz: RAGH!
[Luz uses it all and blows One away]
One: COME ON!
[Luz uses Edric Speed and Kotoha's Lightning blade]
Luz: Lightning Ninjutsu, Lighting Blade!
[Luz moves at Hyper Speed while leaving a dent on One's armor]
[One creates two stalactites and throws them back]
[Luz mixes Willow's, Mattholomule's, and West's strength to break all of them with her fists]
Luz: Woah, so much for weak nerd arms!
[One gains more power and launches iceberg sized shotgun bullets]
One: Try this!
[Luz activates Boscha's ability along with her Ice Glyph and creates a Giant glacier]
[It all crumbles down, some break the tower]
Gus: Oh crap! The Tower's falling apart!
[The other block falls towards the ground group!
Willow: OH NO!
A.X.E.L.: Everyone, brace yourselves!
[West jumps high and breaks the block of ice with a single punch]
Warlord: Ronin, I believe it would be best to get us all out of here.
[Ronin sighs]
Ronin: I was just about to do so. Now it sounds like you're giving me orders.
[Ronin snaps her fingers and teleports everyone to a nearby hill]
[On the inside, two elites carry Tank's statue to the rest of Meta]
Mohawk: Shit! The whole place is falling apart! Watts, get us out of here!
[Watts activates the portal to the Isles]
Watts: Already done! Let's go!
[Watts goes in first, while the rest follow, his elites carry Tank into the portal]
[Luz mixes Viney and A.X.E.L.'s fighting style, Barcus's Future sight, and Raymond's opponent analysis to figure out a plan]
Luz: Keep up the pressure!
[One fights back with his fists]
One: I have to admit this fight is better than I expected from you!
[Luz creates Illusion Clones with Gus's ability, all three attack him at once]
One: To think that when we first started a long war, you were weak and would only fall by the mere sight of me! But now I don't feel an inch of fear inside you! But now I think it's time I end this!
[One breaks the illusion clones and grabs Luz's mouth]
[Luz stress muffs her words]
One: This power is extraordinary, but the fact that it belongs to you is only a waste! But don't worry! I'll take it for myself if you don't mind!
[One uses the Heart of Rey to absorb her power]
Luz: NO!
[Her power becomes weaker. One laughs maniacally]
[Amity senses that Luz is in danger and brings her wings out]
Lilith: Amity, where are you going?!
Amity: I'm not just going to stand around here and let Luz fight on her own! I'm going to help! None of you will stop me!
[Emira tries to grab her hand, but Amity moves quick enough to scurry over to Luz]
Eda: Boots, please bring her back.
[Luz continues to get her power absorbed]
One: This power! It's amazing! It's all I need to bring my plans to fruition! And your sacrifice is what will trigger my new rule!
[After five seconds, One begins to realize something]
One: Wait! What is this?! I can't control it! The power! It's too much!
[One releases Luz from his hand and begins to fall]
Luz: You're not going anywhere!
[Luz grabs her staff and flies toward him]
[She grabs onto his chest and gives more of her power]
Luz: you wanted my power! Didn't you! You can take it!
[The power voraciously flows through his veins]
One: NO! I CAN'T ANYMORE! IT'S TOO MUCH!
[One's body begins to spurt magic and aura energy]
One: WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME?!
[Luz breaks her hand through One's helmet and holds his eye]
Luz: I said I would take you down! And I believe this is mine!
[Luz absorbs all the fragments' power back into her body along with Sigma's ability]
One: No! I can't lose! My power!
[One notices the shadowy Dragon like figure behind Luz]
One: What are you doing here?!
[The Dragon enters his body. One begins to disappear]
One: Wait! I never lost! I can keep going! Don't do this!
[One's body poofs away]
Luz: What the? What just happened?
[Luz remembers the asteroid hurtling towards the surface of the God Realm]
Luz: I'll worry about it later! Right now! I'll have to deal with this!
[Luz calls Alpha]
Luz: How much time do we have left?!
Alpha: We have 40 seconds left!
Luz: Can I use all my powers to vaporize that Meteor!
Alpha: What that can kill you!
Luz: And it will kill all of us if we can't destroy it!
[Alpha nods]
Alpha: Call upon Azura and use your special attack!
[Luz digs deep down and remembers all the friends and family she made in the Isles]
Luz: AZURA! LEND ME YOUR POWER!
[Azura appears, uses her Bazooka Staff, and aims]
[Luz copies the gesture]
Luz: The Good Witch Bazooka! Good Luzura Version!
[The Energy builds into a giant ball]
Luz: I am the Good Witch Luz! Defender of the Isles, Student of Eda the Owl Lady! Friend to all Witch! And the Alpha of Roundtable! And I will save my friends! Now eat this sucka!
[Luz releases a Kamehameha like beam and completely shatters the meteor]
Luz: AGH!
[The beam is going out of the planet, and as it disappears, Luz's arm begins to turn to dust]
Luz: Guess my time is up! Sorry guys guess I won't make it out of this alive! See you on the other side.
[Luz closes her eyes and accepts her fate]
Luz: Wonder what mom is doing right now. She must be worried after all this time. I guess she'll never know what happened to me.
[Luz becomes unconscious]
Luz: Mom, please forgive me.
[Luz falls into a slumber. But feels someone save her]
Luz: Amity?!
Amity: Luz! Are you okay?!
[Luz blushes]
Luz: Uh-huh.
Amity: Thank Titan. But your arm.
[Luz notices]
Luz: Don't worry about it for now. Let's just get back to the others.
[Amity and Luz manage to get back in one piece, with the tower in shambles and everyone gathered around her]
Eda and King: LUZ!
[they wrap themselves around her]
Eda: Thank Titan you're okay!
King: We thought you were going to die!
Luz: I mean, I didn't. I just lost an arm.
[Eda gasps]
Luz: It's not a big deal.
King: Not a big deal! It is a big deal! How are you even going to draw glyphs without your arm!
[Amity then notices someone walking toward the group]
West: Wait, what happened to One?!
[Luz snickers]
Luz: I don't think he'll be able to hurt anyone for a while!
[Gus gasps]
Willow: So you're saying you won!
[Luz scratches her head]
Luz: All I know is that he disappeared in front of me. So I think I did.
Raymond: Then that means!
[Skara and Raymond Clasps hands]
Skara: WE WON!
[Everyone cheers as they celebrate their victory despite all their injuries]
Ronin: Don't think you've won yet!
[everyone turns to the back, West is the most shocked]
West: Connie?!
Willow: That's Connie!
[Ronin brings out her blade]
Ronin: If you think you're all going to walk out of this unscathed, you thought wrong!
[Arthur protects Luz]
Arthur: And what do you mean by that!
Mattholomule: What the heck are you going to do to us!
[Amity tries to stop him]
Amity: Mattholomule wait!
[Ronin aims for Matt's stomach and rams him into Gus and Amelia]
Gus: Hey what's your problem!
[Ronin summons her Spirit Power]
Ronin: Do you want to answer that question! Because you're dealing with a fighter! And you don't want to lock arms with me!
Boscha: Oh really? What are you going to do?!
[Ronin swings her blade once and cuts down a mountain]
Skara: OH SHIT!
[Ronin pierces the tip of her blade into the ground and creates a bubble]
Ronin: Now, if you all want to live! Then you're going to do something for me!
Lilith: And what would that be?!
[Ronin evilly smiles]
Ronin: You're all going to bring me the head of Luz Noceda.
[Luz is shocked to hear her name]
Luz: What?!
Ronin: Luz Noceda, come here. I'll let your friends live! If you do not, then I'll kill you all!
[Luz clenches her fist and gets up]
Luz: If it means saving my friends, then I'll-
[Eda grabs onto Luz]
Eda: You're not laying a single finger on her!
King: If you want Luz, you'll have to kill us!
[Everyone stands by Luz]
Willow: All of us!
[Ronin sighs]
Ronin: Very well! SURTUR!
[Surtur lifts his blade and throws his arms to the ground]
Ronin: Ragnarok!
[Before the explosion could activate, the stress of her friends dying goes to Luz's head, she couldn't let that happen. And with the power she had left, her eye changed shape as she yelled]
Luz: STOP IT!
[The Explosion happens. The entire area is covered]
