Hello again! I'm back with another chapter!
I want to make one thing clear and I want to say that I have a messy schedule when it comes to updating. Originally I wanted to update every weekend, but then my schedule felt even messier and yeah... But then again, I don't expect anything.
I also want to answer the question to a review from TheMist33, even though it was kinda revealed in the last chapter about how that would work. At some point, Fuutarou will be less nervous around the quints as the story progresses, meaning he would be accepting his feelings around them. Adding more, the first quint he would be comfortable with has been decided but I will not tell you who, leaving you to guess who it is. The quint will be revealed when the fireworks festival starts. I hope it answers the question, with some additional answers.
Anyway, we left the last chapter with fully introducing Kanna, the witch who casted the love spell on Fuutarou. He learned that if Kanna removes the curse inflicted on him, he would also pay the price of never feeling happiness ever again. Fuutarou took the difficult choice and decided to keep the curse, continuing to be nervous around the quints.
With that said, we will continue on where we left off, starting off that the quints are done with their mock sheets.
And now, starting the chapter!

"Fuutarou~! I'm done with the worksheet!" Nino exclaimed in a flirty manner as she handed over her worksheet to Fuutarou. The young tutor took it off her hands gently, but not without leaving a blush as soon as he picked it up. Nino noticed this and smiled.
"Hehe, if you're going to stare at me the entire time, I wouldn't mind showing more of my beauty for you, Fuutarou~ N-no, let's give you a shorter nickname! 'Uesugi' is way too bad for my taste and 'Fuutarou' is way too long… Hmm…" Nino said while thinking about a nickname for him.
"Huh? A nickname? I never had a nickname before, but I hope it isn't too funny…" Fuutarou thought to himself.
While Nino was thinking about a nickname for him, the 4 other sisters handed over their worksheets to Fuutarou. As soon as he took them off their hands, Ichika winked at him which made him look away as he blushed.
"Fuutarou-kun, we aren't that scary to be with. Could it be that you like me~?" Ichika teased him, asking him in a flirty manner. It made the young tutor sweat nervously.
"Ichika…" Itsuki muttered out as she looked at the boy with worry.
Fuutarou didn't exactly know what to do when he has two people being too flirty and close to him at the same time. He wanted to go home and start reviewing their work so he can have a plan about what the quintuplets need to improve. As soon as he was about to say something, Nino started to scream out loud the nickname she will call him from now on.
"Fuu-kun! That's what I'll call you from now on!" Nino exclaimed as she put both her hands in a praying stance while looking at his eyes with a smile. Upon eye contact, Fuutarou wanted to look away, but-
"That nickname is nice, Nino-chan… But not as nice as your beautiful ocean blue eyes…" Fuutarou blurted out, making him cover his mouth. It made Nino's heart melt as she giggled at him.
"Dammit! W-why d-do I k-keep b-blurting o-out?!" Fuutarou muttered out while looking away from Nino.
"Geez, are you always that honest, Fuu-kun~? You don't have to hide anything from me~" Nino said in a flirty manner, trying to reassure him. It made Fuutarou blush harder.
"Nino…" Itsuki muttered out.
Yotsuba looked at the young tutor in worry, so she tried to come up with something that could save him from blushing for too long. While she was thinking, Miku came up to him, wanting to ask something.
"F-Fuutarou, would it be okay if we could start with history in the next tutoring session?" she asked him. Ah yes, Miku mentioned that she loves history when they first met. She hoped he would start with history since she wished to learn more about what he knows. Fuutarou nodded at her request, getting nervous while nodding as Miku formed a smile.
"Umm… I think we should let Uesugi-san go home, he looks really tired now, ehehe~" Yotsuba nervously chuckled, with the other quints looking at Fuutarou's state. However, there was more they wanted to know about their tutor as they ignored Yotsuba's suggestion.
"Fuu-kun~ I did my best at the worksheet today so I hope my tutor can help me with passing my next test~" Nino flirted with him, causing his heart to beat faster.
"Stop flirting with him, Nino. And he's not only your tutor, he's our tutor too!" Miku exclaimed, which annoyed Nino and they continued throwing comebacks at each other.
"Hey, he's a cute guy! I make him blush with my beauty, Miku!" Nino said.
"We all look the same, genius! We have the same face!" Miku countered.
Nino and Miku continued to argue while Yotsuba came closer to him to check if he's alright. It made Fuutarou surprised, but upon seeing Yotsuba close to him, he began to be even more nervous than before.
"Ehehe, you must be really tired huh, Uesugi-san? I think you should go home and get some rest for tomorrow," Yotsuba told him with a gentle smile. Fuutarou looked at Nino and Miku while they were still arguing.
"Hey I can change too! I can be nice to new people!" Nino angrily exclaimed.
"You only like him because of his hair! Have you even considered his personality too?!" Miku fought back.
"W-will t-those t-two b-be a-alright?" Fuutarou nervously asked with worry. Ichika then came from behind and patted him in the back, getting him startled.
"Oh, they argue most of the time when they get annoyed by each other so don't worry about it, Fuutarou-kun~. They'll be fine and make up eventually," Ichika reassured him. Itsuki approached Fuutarou as well, causing the boy to blush more.
"So, we'll see you tomorrow, Uesugi-kun?" Itsuki asked him politely. Fuutarou nodded.
"Don't worry Itsuki-chan, I'll definitely see you tomorrow, beautiful," Fuutarou blurted out once again as he covered his mouth, getting annoyed that he blurts out compliments randomly while also making his heartbeat go faster. Itsuki blushed heavily, but formed a small smile that no one couldn't see since she was looking down and was red as her hair.
"I-I'll j-just g-go h-home and r-review y-your m-mock t-tests… S-see y-you t-tomorrow, g-girls…" Fuutarou said awkwardly as he went to leave.
As soon as he left, Nino and Miku stopped arguing as they looked at the door where Fuutarou just left the apartment not too while ago.
"Fuutarou…" Miku muttered out, worried for her tutor.
Ichika looked at Itsuki, wanting to ask her some questions regarding the young tutor.
"Itsuki, is Fuutarou-kun really nervous around us? When you first met him, he was very calm from what you told us about him," Ichika asked, mentioning about when Itsuki first met Fuutarou at the cafeteria that day. Itsuki nodded with a small sad frown in her face.
"Yes, he was pretty calm when we first met each other. He was looking for a table and I called for him since most tables got full instantly when I first came to the cafeteria," Itsuki explained the situation.
Ichika wondered what could cause the young tutor to feel nervous around them.
"Hmm… Maybe he really does love all of us if he's that nervous. I don't think there would be any other explaination, hehe~" Ichika thought while giggling as she went back up to her room.
"I wonder what could cause him to be very nervous…? Did you notice that he felt calm when he distanced himself when we took the mock test?" Miku wondered.
"When he came to get our mock tests for review, he got nervous again too. Are you sure he's someone who would help us pass our exams?" Miku continued to ask, worried that Fuutarou might not be suitable for tutoring them when he's flustered all the time.
Miku did have a point. Feeling flustered while tutoring them could be a problem in the long run if they should continue to rely on him to pass their exams and get to graduation.
"Father hired him, Miku… I'm sure that he chose him because he could help us with what we need to do to pass. I trust him and Uesugi-kun, so please give him a chance Miku," Itsuki told her with a calm tone.
Miku sighed and put on a gloomy face, looking at Itsuki to reply to her comment.
"If Dad put faith in him, I will do the same… I'm just worried that he won't be helping us enough to improve on what we need when he's always nervous around us…" Miku said as she went upstairs and went in to her room.
Itsuki could only look at Miku's direction as she sighed. Nino thought about the situation herself as she was listening to them regarding the young tutor.
"I have faith in Fuu-kun too… I wonder what I could do to make him feel comfortable around us? Maybe I could bake something good for him! I didn't get to bake for him today…" Nino thought while making a sad frown, but she quickly got back up in a good mood since she'll be seeing him again at the next session. She could ask Fuutarou about what kind of food he likes!
"Hehe~ It would be perfect! I can bake whatever he likes and do my best making him feel comfortable around me! It's perfect!" Nino thought with confidence and smiled.
Meanwhile, Fuutarou was on his way home and was thinking about the first session and meeting the witch again at the same day. Thinking back what she told him about his curse, it must be really cruel to inflict it in the first place!
("Everyone deserves happiness in life, that includes you, Fuu-chan!")
The thought about what the witch told him echoed over and over.
"But there should be something besides romantic love to make me happy…" Fuutarou thought and sighed.
Looking around, the lights began to slowly light up during his walk home. Fuutarou hoped that he could review the sheets as soon as possible and start figuring out what each quintuplet needed to work on. He kept sighing, because he wanted to figure out how to get less nervous around the quintuplets before the next session. He hoped it wouldn't get as worse as it was during the first one.
Noticing that he might have a long road back to his house, he picked up the sheets and started to check their answers. Upon checking all of them, he managed to reach his home, but he saw that the quints barely had any answer right. Sighing once more, Fuutarou knew that it was going to be a challenge for not only being less nervous, but figuring out a plan for what's the best method for the girls to get higher scores.
"This is not going to be an easy task… Miku has the highest score out of all of them. She definitely shows that she loves history because she answered all of them correctly, but she seems to have trouble on other subjects too despite the average answers," Fuutarou reflected as he looked at Miku's sheet.
"Ichika's sheet felt like she was sleeping on the other half of the questions, but her math isn't bad since she also showed calculation and formulas to get to the answers."
"Nino made her sheet really clean… She came with a file so it wouldn't be messy. Although her English is the best out of all the other answers I've checked," Fuutarou continued to reflect while looking through the answers.
"Itsuki did really well on science. She explained very well on what resources we have and need in some questions that I've read. I can see that she tried her best in the other subjects too, but it was still wrong or inconsistent…"
Fuutarou shook his head and smiled while looking at her sheet for a moment before moving on to Yotsuba's sheet. Looking at her sheet, she seemed to have even more trouble than Ichika to answer all the questions right.
"I really don't know what to do here… But looking over and over, I noticed that her Japanese is really good despite her answers are really bad… Yotsuba will be difficult to teach if she doesn't know the simplest answers," Fuutarou sadly reflected and looked up forward, noticing he was standing near the entrance door for a while now.
He went inside and prepared to review the sheets before the next day arrives.
The next day:
"Onii-chan, are you sure you'll be alright? You barely ate dinner when you got home yesterday!" Raiha asked him, worried about what happened at their apartment.
Fuutarou smiled at Raiha, reassuring her with a headpat and grabbed the bento Raiha made for him.
"I'll be fine, Raiha… Thank you for the bento by the way, but we don't have much money for the next food budget so remember to not use too much ingredients alright?" Fuutarou told her.
"I know, I know! But you barely ate anything, so the least I could do is make a bento for you for lunch! Remember to eat it onii-chan!" Raiha said, earning a happy sigh from Fuutarou as he smiled.
"Alright, alright… I'll eat it at lunch, don't worry," Fuutarou said with a chuckle and left his home, waving goodbye to Raiha.
Today was the second day Fuutarou was going to tutor the quintuplets, but before that he had to get through school. He was on his way to school until he noticed a girl standing near a café drinking Frappuccino outside.
"Could that be…" Fuutarou muttered.
His heartbeat started going faster the more he got closer, meaning it could be one of the quintuplets. Upon closer look, the short redhaired girl noticed him and waved at the flustered young man.
"Ya-hoo~" the redhaired girl called out to him.
Fuutarou recognized her voice, identifying her as Ichika, the first quint.
"G-Good morning, I-Ichika-chan…" Fuutarou greeted nervously, which made Ichika giggle.
"Good morning to you too, my shy teacher~" Ichika greeted back in a flirty tone.
"Normally I don't really wake up at this hour, but it was the only time I wanted to check out a nearby café for the Frappuccino they have! It was so good~" Ichika explained in excitement.
Looking at the café, he didn't notice that he passes through this very same café on his way to school or the way back home.
"Although, I didn't think I would end up meeting you from that direction Fuutarou-kun… Looks like I will know where you might live sooner or later, fufu~" Ichika said in a flirty manner, making him nervous again.
"A-ahaha… Don't s-scare m-me w-with that…" Fuutarou muttered out loud enough for Ichika to hear.
Ichika took the last sip on her Frappuccino and threw it on the nearest recycle bin and faced Fuutarou's direction as she looked into his eyes.
"Tell me, Fuutarou-kun… are you in love with one of us?" Ichika asked him seriously, making him gulp.
Hearing the question, Fuutarou didn't know what to answer. Ichika was patiently waiting for his answer while giving a serious look towards him.
Well, that was an interesting turn of events.
It looks like Ichika went straight to the point and immediately asked him if he is in love with one of them. What would his answer be? Will he back out or face Ichika's question? Find out next time!
