Hi, I'm back with a new chapter!
I hope everyone has a great month since Christmas and the new year is coming close! As for me, I'm mostly relaxing while writing more chapters for this. I've been writing at a slower pace since I've been busy with life. I hope this chapter is worth the wait!
We left Fuutarou in a situation where he's dealing with 4 jealous girls and one clingy girl. How will this go in the tutoring session?
With that said, onto the story!

"I really want to go home now…" Fuutarou thought while he looked at the girls who gave Fuutarou and Itsuki an annoyed look. Particularly towards the girl who was closer to him.
"Uesugi-kun? Are you alright? You look like someone that got scared of a ghost…" Itsuki asked him with worry.
"I'm fine, Itsuki," Fuutarou tried to reassure her.
They were at their apartment after an awkward ride and the 4 girls were still looking at them with jealousy.
"A-anyway… L-let's get s-started w-with w-what we n-need t-to improve t-today!" Fuutarou exclaimed, stuttering while facing the other redheads who quickly formed a small smile so their tutor wouldn't worry.
Fuutarou started to give them a sheet he made himself while he was taking notes during his class and while he was at home.
"We'll b-be s-starting o-off w-with b-basic J-Japanese since a-all o-of y-you h-had trouble w-with f-forming sentences…" Fuutarou explained. He kept on stuttering until he looked at Itsuki, managing to calm down and smiled at her. The latter smiled back and nodded happily.
("It's okay, Uesugi-kun… Just do your best tutoring us and if you feel nervous around my sisters, you can always come to me for comfort~ You're calm around me after all, right~?")
"Thank you Itsuki…" Fuutarou thought, remembering the words she told him whenever he gets nervous around her sisters as he walked towards her to check on what she's thinking.
During their session, Yotsuba noticed how comfortable Fuutarou was with Itsuki, even helping her with what she needs to improve.

It couldn't be that Itsuki is his favorite already, right?!
Yotsuba shook her head while continuing to look at them, making a small frown that neither the two of them noticed. It didn't seem like her other sisters noticed her frown as they were busy working on their sheets while somewhat taking a small glance at Fuutarou and Itsuki.
She thought back to when she was about to latch into Fuutarou's arm, remembering that Fuutarou hid behind her sister, which did make her sad.
"Itsuki said that she saw Fuutarou-kun alone at the bench while we were setting up fireworks… I wonder what she did to make him calm down?" Yotsuba thought.
While taking glances at the two, she saw Itsuki giving him a kiss on the cheek. Must be because he managed to figure out what she did wrong perhaps?
…
…
Wait… Maybe that's what she did to get him to calm down! …right?
Yotsuba noticed Fuutarou forming a smile while he was touching the very same cheek where Itsuki placed a soft kiss, giving her an idea on what she has to do.
"Maybe that's what made Fuutarou-kun comfortable around Itsuki! If she kissed him on the cheek, I could do the same! …I hope," Yotsuba thought in confidence, but went insecure when she wondered how she would do so when Fuutarou was still nervous around her.
Meanwhile, Miku was still pouting at Itsuki, noticing that she was getting closer and closer to Fuutarou and that he was feeling less nervous around her. She noticed Fuutarou smiling as well, making her pout harder.
"Uuuu… How did Itsuki get him to feel less nervous around her? I want him to feel less nervous around me…" Miku thought sadly.
She thought of every possibility when Itsuki mentioned that he was alone when they were setting up the fireworks. Unfortunately for her, she had no idea what Itsuki did to make him calm down.
"Fuutarou…" Miku called out for him.
Upon hearing his name, Fuutarou looked at Miku nervously.
"W-what is it M-Miku? W-was t-there a p-problem y-you d-don't u-understand?" Fuutarou asked her.
"Not really, I wonder about what made you comfortable around Itsuki? Since the festival, you managed to warm up to her and you don't stutter very much now…" Miku asked him, causing the boy to wonder what he should answer. Of course, it caught the other quintuplets' attention, curious about what his answer is.
"Well… I…" was all he could say, until Itsuki answered her question for him.
"I don't think you should pressure him about this, Miku… He'll eventually calm down around you as well, just give him time," Itsuki told her, only for Miku to pout.
"Uuuu…"
"Now, now, Miku… Itsuki makes a good point, we shouldn't force him to feel comfortable around us right away. If Fuutarou-kun is able to stay calm around Itsuki over time, I'm sure he will be able to be calm around us too," Ichika reassured Miku, making Miku return to her gloomy expression.
Miku eventually nodded, but she was still disappointed how the scenario turned out. She then went back to her sheet while thinking about how she could make Fuutarou calm down his nervousness around her.
Nino too was disappointed and frowned. She was hoping it could help her figure out what she needed to do to make him less nervous around her.
"Hmph… No matter, I'm going to win him over! …it would have been nice to know what I need to do, but I'll figure it out on my own," Nino thought.
Noticing her tutor's blushing cheeks, she also saw that Fuutarou was trying out her bento. It made her blush for a moment before she formed a smile, hoping he liked her cooking.
"T-This b-bento… It's h-heavenly g-good…" Fuutarou muttered out his thoughts out loud, loud enough for Nino to hear as she blushed heavily.
"H-heh! I knew you would love it, Fuu-kun~ There's more where that came from, and I'll be glad to make more for you~" Nino said confidently, with a hint of a flirty tone towards him.
"T-thank y-you… N-Nino…" Fuutarou awkwardly thanked her.
"I didn't think someone as beautiful as you can make such heavenly cooking…" Fuutarou blurted out loud, causing him to heavily blush and cover his mouth with both his hands. Of course, it caused Nino to blush and twirl her hair slowly in embarrassment, but she smiled when she received his sudden compliment.
It caused Itsuki to chuckle a little, comforting him by putting her hand on his shoulder gently, causing the young man to look at her and calm down.
"You love Nino's cooking, don't you Uesugi-kun? Nino's cooking is definitely the best," Itsuki commented.
"Y-yeah… It's really good. It's close to my sister's bento, maybe better…" Fuutarou replied, which caused Nino to give him the biggest smile when he thought her cooking is better than Fuutarou's sister.
"Is it really that good, Fuu-kun? If that's the case, I'm definitely gonna make sure that you'll get more! You'll be begging for more of my cooking~!" Nino exclaimed to him, causing Fuutarou to blush.
Fuutarou only nodded, gladly looking forward to more of her cooking in the future. It caused Nino to feel more confident, hoping this would be the way for him to feel comfortable around her.
After studying and improving, it was 6 PM and Fuutarou was starting to pack up his things after reviewing each of the quints worksheet.
"Y-you g-girls d-did g-great today! J-just remember t-to f-follow what y-you h-have t-to d-do better a-and it w-will h-help you o-out in t-the n-next m-mock exam…" Fuutarou said, stuttering and praising the girls which caused them to blush.
Looking at the quintuplets caused him to blush heavily, causing his heartbeat to beat very fast, but he made sure to look at Itsuki and smile as he calmed down. With Itsuki around, he could always feel at ease and feel happy that he is able to form a sentence around her. Itsuki saw his smile and returned a smile of her own.
"Uesugi-kun… You're really comfortable around me. It makes me happy that you can talk to me and warm up to me…" Itsuki thought, reflecting back to the festival and up until now.
"Thank you for today, Uesugi-kun~! I learned a lot from what we needed to improve today and I'll make sure that I'll pass the mock exam! I hope we all are ready for the mock exam, though…" Itsuki told him confidently before looking nervous for the exam and chuckled nervously. Fuutarou headpatted her head, causing her sisters to almost jaw drop. Nino frowned and Miku pouted heavily upon seeing their tutor giving Itsuki a lot of attention.
"Don't worry Itsuki, I'll make sure that all of you pass! That's for sure! Just follow my reviews and you'll do great! Believe in your efforts!" Fuutarou confidently told her while stroking her hair gently.
Itsuki secretly loved it when he stroked her hair gently, feeling like she wants to be the only girl Fuutarou could give the most attention to. Itsuki was glad and enjoyed those moments as much as possible, because she would never know when her sisters would eventually catch up. At least she's relieved that they didn't know that a kiss would make him calm down.

At least that's what she thought…
"I'll see you tomorrow, Itsuki! I need to head back to eat dinner with Raiha and my old man," Fuutarou said and walked out of the apartment.
Itsuki smiled, waving goodbye to her tutor. Ichika only chuckled, hiding her jealousy for a brief moment while Nino and Miku pouted in jealousy.
Yotsuba looked down for a moment before her expression turned serious and raised both her fists in confidence.
"No, not yet…"
Fuutarou was on his way to the elevator to get down from the Pentagon. By the time the elevator was about to close, a quint was in time to reach the elevator and open it, causing Fuutarou to look at the girl who opened the door.
To his surprise, he noticed the green ribbon she was wearing, causing Fuutarou's heartbeat to beat faster than normal.
"It's definitely not Itsuki… That must mean…" Fuutarou thought while looking at her and blushed.
Fuutarou identified her as Yotsuba, wondering why she came to him as the elevator closed and started moving downwards.
"H-hey Y-Yotsuba… Was t-there s-something you n-needed?" Fuutarou asked her, stuttering around her.
"I came to accompany you on your way out Uesugi-san~!" Yotsuba exclaimed happily, causing Fuutarou's blush to increase.
"O-oh, y-you don't h-have t-to do that Yotsuba-chan… I c-can f-find m-my way o-out on m-my own…" Fuutarou reassured her, but he noticed the pout she gave him when he replied.
"Mouuu, but I want to! Pretty pleaaaaaase~" Yotsuba asked him, giving him puppy eyes which caused his eyes to widen when he stared at them.
"But I don't want someone with such beautiful blue ocean eyes get hurt… You're really cute and I don't want anything to happen to you," Fuutarou blurted out, covering his mouth with both his hands in embarrassment.
Yotsuba blushed intensely, but she was sometimes used to him giving out sudden compliments towards her during the times they had spent together during school and during their study sessions. Despite that, she would still feel flustered whenever he blurted out such compliments towards her, but it made her happy regardless.
It didn't stop her from replying to what Fuutarou told her, because she still wanted to be with him even if it's just for a moment.
"Shishishi~ If you really don't want anything bad happening to me, there is one thing you could do to keep me safe," Yotsuba said, proposing a suggestion.
"A-and t-that would b-be?" Fuutarou asked nervously.
Yotsuba smiled and started to latch her arm with his arm tightly, causing him to blush more.
"If you hold onto my arm like this, we won't be separated! That way, I'll be safe when you're with me~!" Yotsuba suggested happily.
Fuutarou only muttered her name while the elevator began to open as the two walked out of the elevator and towards the entrance of the Pentagon.
"W-well, t-this is w-where w-we part t-then…" Fuutarou said to her while trying to separate from her. However, Yotsuba's grip was too strong.
Fuutarou wondered if it was the love spell doing it again, but he didn't feel any magic was trying to get him to separate from her as it was Yotsuba herself not wanting to let go so quickly.
"Just a little longer, Uesugi-san…" Yotsuba sweetly told him while she leaned her head towards his shoulder, causing the young tutor to get nervous quickly.
Fuutarou sighed and eventually gave up, letting Yotsuba do what she wishes.
"F-fine… It d-doesn't h-hurt s-staying like t-this f-for a m-moment…" Fuutarou said.
Yotsuba smiled and looked at him before her expression turned a bit serious for a moment.
"Ne, Uesugi-san… It was unfair that you let Itsuki be close to you more than us during the study session… I also wanted you to pay more attention to me too…" Yotsuba said sadly.
"A-about t-that… I…" Fuutarou muttered out, trying to get out of the situation but he noticed her smile before he managed to say anything else.
"But that's fine… I got to hold you too and get closer to you like this~" Yotsuba said happily, causing Fuutarou to mutter her name, feeling guilty.
"Yotsuba…"
"I only want you to feel comfortable around me and my sisters, Uesugi-san. Only seeing you get comfortable around Itsuki does hurt my feelings…" Yotsuba told him, looking away for a moment while Fuutarou stared at her.
"I-I'm sorry, Y-Yotsuba…" Fuutarou apologized and sighed.
Fuutarou could only blame the curse for him to feel this nervous around the quintuplets. He didn't ask to be cursed in the first place after all!
("You will thank me eventually~")
The thought of what Kanna told him made him sigh even more.
"As if I'll thank you!" Fuutarou thought upon thinking back what Kanna mentioned to him.
"Uesugi-san… Is it okay that I'll be a bit selfish? Just for a moment?" Yotsuba suddenly asked, still turned away from him.
"H-huh? W-what do y-you m-mean b-by t-that? W-why d-do y-you w-want t-to…" was all Fuutarou could mutter out before getting interrupted.
Yotsuba turned around to face him and leaned in, pressing her lips on his cheek softly which caused him to blush heavily.
"W-wha… Huh? What the…" Fuutarou muttered out after Yotsuba kissed him.
Fuutarou touched his cheek where Yotsuba placed a soft kiss. After she started moving away from him, his nervousness and his blush started toning down slowly. Yotsuba started giving him the biggest smile she could muster, blushing a bit.
"Shishishi~ I wanted to do that before you leave, Uesugi-san~" Yotsuba explained her actions towards him, with a small hint of a flirty tone.
Fuutarou only stared at her for a moment, noticing the difference before Yotsuba kissed him and after what happened right now. After that moment, he didn't feel like he was this nervous around Yotsuba and it made him form a smile of his own towards her.
"I'll see you tomorrow, Yotsuba," Fuutarou said and waved her goodbye without feeling nervous, which made him happy.
Yotsuba giggled as she waved as well.
"You should head back inside too. Wouldn't want a beautiful woman like you getting lost now…" Fuutarou blurted out, blushing heavily and covered his mouth again in embarrassment. He was able to tone it down and chuckled. Yotsuba blushed at his sudden comment, but she got happy again.
"See you," Fuutarou told her sweetly, before heading off.
As soon as he was out of her sight, Yotsuba covered her mouth with both her hands in happiness. Fuutarou called her a woman!
After that, she headed back inside the Pentagon, reflecting at the moment they shared together before he headed home.
"Fuutarou-kun~" Yotsuba muttered out his name happily.
During their moment, after the cheek kiss specifically, she managed to notice his smile and his nervousness toning down earlier, which meant something for her.
("No, not yet…" Yotsuba thought as she was about to leave the apartment to chase after Fuutarou.
"Yotsuba? Where are you going?" Itsuki noticed Yotsuba running out. The latter didn't hear what Itsuki said, causing the young quintuplet to wonder what she was up to…
"N-no… Is she going to…?" was all Itsuki thought as she stared at where Yotsuba just left.
Yotsuba was running as fast as she could to the elevator before it closed.
"If Itsuki kissed him on the cheek back in the festival to make him less nervous, then I'll do the same! I want Fuutarou-kun to know how I feel!" Yotsuba thought confidently while running.
She managed to reach the elevator in time and held the doors before it could close, causing the elevator to react and open for her. Fuutarou managed to notice Yotsuba which caused his heartbeat to beat faster than normal while Yotsuba looked at him.
"I'm not going to let Itsuki have him all for herself! I'll make sure my feelings reach him too and make him less nervous around me too!" Yotsuba thought more confidently.)
"Did my feelings… Does this mean that…?" Yotsuba muttered out, thinking about Fuutarou's smile and remembering that his blush was less visible now, it was now clear to her.
Realizing that Fuutarou feels less nervous around Yotsuba, she formed the biggest smile she could and looked forward to meet him again after what happened.
"Shishishi~ Just wait, Fuutarou-kun~ There's more where that came from! I hope you can come to me too now that you feel comfortable around me," Yotsuba said.
"…because I love you~! Shishishi~ Itsuki isn't the only girl to have an advantage now!"
Hehe, that was early.
Looks like Fuutarou is feeling less nervous around the two youngest quints and he couldn't feel any happier!
Now that he's able to talk to Yotsuba without feeling nervous, what will happen from there? And who will be the next quint he would be less nervous with next?
