Hey everyone, sorry for the delay, so funny story is that I already had this chapter done on Wednesday, but I wanted to post it today so that way we would have a routine every next Friday.
another thing I have to say is that I'm trying to make Improvements on my writing so that it wouldn't be as cluttered up as it usually is, it would make things way easier on both you guys as the readers and on me the author.
other than that, let's do this!
Chapter 4: Goodbye Peaceful Days
A few minutes earlier
While Isaiah and Blu were having their own conversation, the adults were having their own, Linda and Tulio seemed rather worried.
"Are you sure you don't want us to come with you? What if you're in trouble and we won't be able to help you?" Linda asks
Father Abraham replies, "I appreciate your concern , but I'm sure we'll be fine, there's nothing that we can't handle before, there's no need to rope your family into this mess"
Tulio says, "I'm more worried that this whole thing may not only apply to you and the children, but to us as well"
Tiffany says, "I understand where you're coming from, maybe it would be wise for you to come with us, what do you think Father?"
Father Abraham seemed to agree with the proposal.
"Your probably right, it's better to be safe about this" said Father Abraham
Father Abraham seemed deep into his thoughts at that very moment.
"But will it matter if we cower away? In the end it will come down to whether or not we will be helpless or we can stand up to whatever we're facing…"
He began to think about his older students.
"...If only they were here, I'm sure they would think of a better plan than this one, If they were here then I wouldn't have to worry at all…"
Father Abraham then looks towards the children who were having fun.
"...Please don't tell me they will be the ones that will fight for us, don't make them suffer any further God...If anything let me be the one to carry their burden" Father Abraham thought
"Excuse me? Father Abraham?..." Ethan asks
Father Abraham then snaps out of the thoughts he was thinking about and turns towards the children that were with him.
"...Have you seen Isaiah? He just left us without warning"
Father Abraham replies, "oh, well Isaiah is over there talking to one of your feathery friends"
Tiffany says, "I think it might be best for us to get going now, go and let your friend know"
Ethan shouts, "Yo Isaiah!..."
Isaiah and Blu turn towards the group.
"...it's time to go!"
Father Abraham looked relieved for a brief moment.
"Maybe I'm just overthinking things, they'll be just fine" Father Abraham thought
Isaiah shouts, "I'm coming"
Isaiah began to walk towards them, suddenly his leg began to crack like glass, Father Abraham took notice of it and looked shocked, that cracking began to spread all around his body without him noticing, suddenly he began to break into multiple glass shards and fade into the air, multiple glass shards shatter around the adults, Tiffany, Linda, Tulio, and Father Abraham just stood there, shocked, confused, and horrified as to what just happened, Carolina began crying while Father Abraham drops his cane and falls on his knees, the birds and the children had all disappeared.
"...What...Had just...Happened?" Tiffany asks
Meanwhile
The children as well as the birds were faced to faced with the old man in the trench coat, David, Isaac, and Violet were standing in front of the group acting as the frontlines for whenever the old man would attack, they remained a strong determined look on their faces with the teenaged birds looking nervously as to what's about to happen.
"Who are you and what do you want with us?!" Isaac asks in a fierce tone
The old man remained silent while staring at them with his fedora covering his eyes, Violet was ticked off by his silence.
"Answer the %$*& question! What do you plan to do with us?!" Violet shouts at him
Isaiah looks at him with a curious look on his face.
"That man, there's something peculiar about him, he's gotta be the one behind all of this" said Isaiah
Ethan says, "no doubt about it, keep your guard up, this could get really ugly"
Bia whispers, "mom, I'm scared on what's about to happen"
Jewel whispers back, "I know sweetie, get behind me and your father"
The old man in the trench coat raises his right hand, glass shards began to levitate in the air and assemble, forming a folded piece of paper, the old man then throws it at David with such speed and precision as David catches it with his right hand, David looks at the paper and unfolds it and reads it while Violet and Isaac kept an eye on the old man, David proceeds to read the letter loudly so that everyone may hear it.
( "Dear Children, I am deeply sorry for all the things I'm about to do, I don't expect any of you to forgive me, but I hope you know that this will only be for the sake of an experiment and that none of this is personal, I have no choice but to put you all through torture" )
Everyone was alerted by the threatening letter, David looked unimpressed by it.
"So that's what this is all about? Fine then, bring it on" said David in a fierce tone
The old man turned into several glass shards and disappeared, the children are now alarmed by this.
"Crap! He can teleport!" Ethan shouts
David shouts, "everyone be on your guard! We don't know where he'll attack next"
( little did they know is that the old man warped behind the group, Isaiah, Ethan, Mia, and Isaac sensed the danger coming from behind them, in slow motion the old man uses glass shards to create a revolver and aims the revolver at Blu, Isaiah's eyes began to glow blue with electricity flowing all over his body, the old man fires the gun at Blu, Isaiah at the speed of lightning moves where the bullet was at, he opens up his right hand and lightning began to form and create a double edged longsword in his hand, both the pommel and the crossguard having a gold look to it with the grip having a brown wrap to it and the blade being imbued with lightning, Isaiah gets in front of the bullet and cuts it in half with a diagonal upward slash, however though the bullets split in two kept going and was about to hit Violet and Jonny instead, but the lightning from the blade shoots the two bullets off course and into the atmosphere, everybody else turned around as Brenner immediately creates a force field barrier around the old man, trapping the old man to where he's at )
"Got you now! Ya cheeky jerk!" said Brenner
Isaac says, "nice work you two! That was surprising a lot easier than what we were expecting"
( Tiago had an arrogant look on his face )
"Not so tough now are you?!" said Tiago"
( suddenly the old man broke into several tiny glass shards, this of course surprised the others as a glass barrier forms around them with the birds not noticing as to what just happened, the barrier shrunk which made everyone mushed together and they weren't able to move or hardly breathe while they were mumbling and complaining )
"Honestly, we should've saw this one coming" said Ethan in a disappointed tone
( as it turns out the old man was invisible the whole time as he was using a glass cloak to blend in, the old man was walking up to them slowly while they look at him with a worried expression )
"Oh cheese and sprinkles" said Blu
( the old man pushes the glass barrier with both of hands and with all his might, he sends all of them hurling in the air and over the city of Rio while they were screaming from the top of their lungs, David remained focused despite being spinned at a fast speed )
"Brenner! Get us out of here!" David shouts
Brenner replies, "right...on it"
( Brenner uses his space manipulation to teleport everyone out of that glass barrier, the barrier still continued to fly through the air as it eventually crashes into the sea, but however though all of them ended being teleported at random places with David, Jonny and Violet being teleported at the beach, Brenner, Isaac, and Aaron being teleported in the middle of a random street, and Isaiah, Ethan, Mia, and the bird family being teleported in the middle of some sort of Parade with hundreds of people watching the parade, the majority of the marchers with instruments had to halt because of the children and the birds that were in the way, the birds and the children got up as they were dizzy )
"Oh! I don't feel so good" said Ethan
( their vision were so blurry as the marchers voices sounded like mumbled up voices as one of the drummers as well as a couple of the security staff came along )
"Are you kids alright?! What happened?!" one of the guards asks
( Mia began vomiting all over the ground with everyone else backing away in disgust )
Meanwhile
( Brenner, Isaac, and Aaron get up from the floor as dozens of people were staring at them, the 3 of them were looking around to see the people murmuring among themselves, Aaron looks over to Brenner with an annoyed expression )
"Well this is quite the spot to warp us at isn't it?" said Aaron
Brenner says, "I'm sorry! I didn't know where to teleport specifically, my mind at the moment was to just get out of there and here we are"
Isaac says, "guys! Now's not the time to be squabbling at this time, we need to get back to the others"
( but from behind, glass shards began to form into a person, that person was the old man himself, the 3 of them take notice of the old man that was behind them )
"I don't think he'll let us by anytime soon" said Brenner
( Isaac clenches his fist )
"Don't worry, I'll make this quick" said Isaac
Aaron says, "Isaac wait"
( without a moment of hesitation, Isaac turns the other way and leapt from the spot he was at and was flying towards the old man, the old man creates a glass barrier in front of him, Isaac leans his fist back and then punches the barrier, the collision caused a shockwave that sends fruit, crates, civilians, birds, and little critters flying through the air as well as breaking every glass object around them while Brenner created a force field to protect him, Aaron, and the other citizens from the shockwave that was occurring, Isaac couldn't handle the force from the impact as he was sent crashing into the ground as he screams in pain, as soon as it stops debris was scattered everywhere along with a dust cloud, Isaac was spotted 3 feet into the ground, Aaron looks very annoyed at the moment )
"I told you to wait...idiot" said Aaron
( but out from the dust comes 5 big glass spikes that were pretty sharp, the spikes ram into the force field and pushes both Brenner and Aaron back really fast, Brenner had to place his footing on the ground but they were backed into a wall, Brenner was struggling to push the spikes back while fighting for his life, out from the dust cloud came the old man as he continues on pushing the spikes forward, Brenner continues to do his best to push it back )
"Aaron, grab hold of my shoulder" said Brenner
( Aaron immediately grabs hold of his right shoulder, both him and Brenner teleport out of there and the spikes ram into the house behind them, they were back on the street to where they were at, Brenner Began flying towards the old man and rams straight into him and both of them went flying into the sky, while that was happening Aaron notices Isaac was still at the same spot unconscious, Aaron rolls up his sleeves )
"I suppose this is the part where I'm useful for once" said Aaron
( Aaron immediately runs towards Isaac )
Meanwhile
Back at the beach, David and Violet were getting up from the sand while still being dazed, Violet falls to the ground unable to properly stand up, David extended his hand to her.
"Come on, we need to get going" said David
Violet grabs hold of his hand as he pulls her up as she tries to get proper footing.
"Do you think you'll be able to fight?" David asks
Violet replies, "yeah, I can handle my own…"
Violet then nearly falls as he catches her.
"...though maybe not right now"
"At least your in a way better condition than him" said David
They look towards Jonny as he is laying on the ground extremely disoriented and dazed as he moans in pain and agony, Violet looks very concerned at the moment.
"He is gonna be okay?" Violet asks
David replies, "he's honestly considered lucky, the impact from being hurled ourselves would've killed us…"
Violet let's that thought sink in well deep, David approaches Jonny.
"...Anyway, it's gonna take awhile before he fully recovers, I'll have to carry him until then"
( suddenly something snags onto David's leg as he falls over on the ground, Violet looked shocked as well as David, he turns to see what was holding onto his left leg, it was a glass hand that was coming from beneath the sand, a humanoid being made of glass began to crawl from beneath the sand, the humanoid lunges onto David as he was wrestling with the humanoid with all of his strength, Violet comes in, grabs the humanoid and puts it in a headlock, David gets off the ground and immediately does a hook punch at the humanoid, doing so it immediately smashes it's head to pieces with the body falling to the ground, Violet's hand palm got cut by the glass pieces as he was hissing in pain while holding her hand to keep the blood in, David looks checks on her hand )
"Are you alright? I'm sorry if I used too much force on whatever that thing was" said David
Violet replies, "I'll be fine, it's just a scratch…"
( Violet takes notice that David's right hand had black blood all over it with 3 glass shards in between the knuckles, Violet looked extremely worried over David's injuries )
"...FORGET ABOUT ME! YOU NEED TO CHECK THAT OUT!"
( David looks at his bloodied knuckles not even looking phased out by it as the blood had already hardened and stopped the bleeding )
"I'll be fine, Aaron can heal me once we get back to the others" said David
( suddenly up from the ground came more of those glass humanoids rising from beneath the sand, the same humanoid that David destroyed began to rise up from the ground, the glass shards began that was destroyed began to assemble the head, the glass shards from within David's hand began to come out and revert back to its original place with it still being covered in blood, knowing that they were outnumbered and outmatched, they retreated to where Jonny was as Violet gets down to Jonny's level as she starts lightly slapping him with her left hand )
"Jonny wake up, wake up we need you, come on get your *&$ up we need your weapons" said Violet
( the glass men were making their way towards them still, David kept an eye on them )
"Quickly Violet, take drastic measures if you need to" said David with urgency
( Violet without hesitation slaps Jonny's face extremely hard to where the point that there was a handprint on his face, Jonny jolts up awake and shocked by the slap on the face )
"What the?! What happened?!" Jonny asks while panting
Violet replies, "Jonny there's no time, just give us some weapons that are heavy hitters and fast"
( Jonny looks at the glass humanoids approaching them as he was freaked out by it )
"What the heck is that?!" Jonny shouts
( Violet looked extremely pissed off )
"JUST GIVE US OUR STUPID WEAPONS ALREADY!" Violet shouts
Jonny says, "okay! Okay!"
( Jonny's hands began to sparkle with blue particles, he aims it at the ground as the particles was assembling on the ground, the particles form into two weapons, one was a flail with a spike ball attachment and the other was a war hammer, without hesitation Violet grabs onto the flail with her left hand and charges towards the closes humanoid, she swings her flail horizontally and the spike ball smashes it's head into many pieces, she then spins around and puts a lot of force into a horizontal attack, smashing two more humanoids by their chest, she then wraps the chain around another humanoid as she pulls the humanoid over towards her and then roundhouse kicks it in the ribcage, another humanoid tries to punch her with it's right arm but she manages to dodges the punch while she counter attacks by wrapping the flail around it's leg and yanking it down to the ground)
( Suddenly a war hammer comes down on the humanoid's chest with it smashing to millions of pieces, he then approaches another humanoid and smashes it upward, he then swings it horizontal which smashed the humanoid into many pieces, he then gets a firm grip as he thrust it forward at another humanoid which made it stunned for a bit, David then raises warhammer and then smashes it's head, another humanoid tries to tackle him but he slide dodges to the right and then smashes it's left body, another humanoid puts him in a chokehold, he tries to break free to no avail, another humanoid comes rushing at trying to get the jump on him, but David double kicks pushes it back, while it was knocked to the ground, Violet smashes it's head with the flail, David then grabs onto it's hand and breaks free, he then grabs it's arm and then flips it over with all his might, David delivers the final blow by stomping it's face into the ground, another humanoid was about to attack David when suddenly it got shot in the by an arrow, it came from a crossbow from which Jonny fired, but no matter how many times they smash them, they would always regenerate from their injuries with one of them pulling the arrow out of its face, the children were forced to retreat as they run for their lives )
"What do we do now? We can't stop them" said Jonny
David says, "I know, but he can"
( suddenly all the humanoids were crushed together by spatial pressure, They look up to see Brenner levitating over them )
"My apologies to keep all of you waiting, you don't mind if I use this for a bit?" Brenner asks
Violet replies, "no, we don't at all"
"Thank you"
( multiple glass spikes barrage Brenner from every direction, Brenner teleports out of the way, he then flings the pile of humanoids at the old man who somehow was in the air by standing on glass steps, without effort the old man sticks his hand out and all the humanoids shatter to pieces as they just hover all around the old man, Brenner charges towards him while flying at rapid speed, David, Violet, and Jonny were still at the beach )
"This guy's powers are insane! How is he able to do all this crap?!" Jonny asks
David says, "well from the looks of things, we are outmatched against him as we stand, but not entirely helpless, we better follow them while keeping a low profile, the enemy has got to have some sort of weaknesses that we can expose, do you think you're able to keep up with them Jonny?"
( Jonny summons his spear while giving a confident look at David )
Meanwhile
( the old man was flying through the air by the use of his glass shards keeping him in the air, the old man began shooting multiple shards at Brenner, Brenner teleports out of the way, the shards were homing in on him, Brenner turns around to see them, he then creates a portal that would send the shards into the vacuum of space, but the shards move out of the way of the portal, Brenner had no choice but to teleport, he began flying away from the shards, dodging and maneuvering through it the best way he can, he began to have a few cuts on him, he began to get frustrated as he uses spatial pressure to trap the old man to where he is at, he then began to swing him around the sky trying to daze him, he then throws the old man at a mountain with the old man shattering into millions of small pieces, little did he know is that the old man actually teleported behind Brenner and was flying towards him, Brenner turns around to see what he is doing, Brenner was ready to repel him but the old man turned into several glass shards, Brenner's surroundings began to shatter like glass as he looked confused and frightened, suddenly he found himself at the marketplace, he looked bewildered as he doesn't seem to know what to do )
"What sort of madness is this?! What kind of power is this?!" Brenner shouts
( the old man formed right in front of him, he reaches his arms out and everything around the old man shatters and turns into glass, he then extends his arms towards Brenner and a storm of glass was coming at him, Brenner had to put up a force field to protect himself, the glass began to come at him violently, Brenner felt overwhelmed by the many shards that came at him, he didn't know what to do, the ground underneath him began to break as he began growling, he then screams from the top of his lungs as the force field got bigger and bigger that it destroyed everything around him, when the dust settled, Brenner nearly destroyed a good chunk of the market, everything around him were just pieces of glass, Brenner suddenly came to a realization of the old man's powers )
"Wait? This whole city is made of glass?!" Brenner asks himself
( the old man was behind Brenner as he was pointing his pistol at the back of his head )
"It always was, the moment you found yourselves at the statue of Christ, the fight was already over before it would ever began, I didn't even need to fight you I could've just left you all unconscious without even knowing what is happening" said the old man
( Brenner turns his head slightly towards the old man while nervous, he maintained a strong look on his face )
"So tell me, who are you really?! And why do all of this?!" Brenner asks
The old man replies, "you will know my name in due time, for now this is just a practice run of what's about to come, but it's still too soon before the experiments can begin…"
( the old man lowers his gun as well as his guard with him looking everything around him as he looked impressed )
"...you are truly a young man with so much potential, there's not a doubt in my mind that you will survive all of this, please understand I have no hard feelings for any of you"
"You said before that you don't have a choice right? But who or what is forcing you to do this? Maybe we can talk this out, it doesn't have to be this way, we can help you" said Brenner with a sincere tone
( the old man smiles for a bit )
"Your a sweet boy, I wish that you will never change" said the old man
( the old man places his left hand on Brenner's back, Brenner's body began to crack like glass starting from his back, suddenly Brenner's entire body shatters within an instant, from up above Isaac was diving down to the old man with his fist clenched getting ready to hit him for real this time, suddenly the old man's body shatters as he disappeared before Isaac could even land a hit, he ends up sliding across the ground, he slows down and stands there )
"Crap! The old coot got away again! At this rate we won't even get a scratch on him!..."Isaac thought
( Isaac takes a look at all the glass shards levitating in the air with a serious look in his eyes )
"...for some reason I wasn't able to detect his heat signature, despite seeing him a couple of times he had no heat on him, then that means the real one behind all of this is in hiding, like the coward that he is, so where is he truly hiding?..."
( Isaac then looks around realizing something was wrong )
"...Where's Brenner? He was here not too long ago, the old coot must've done something to him! He won't get away with this!"
( Isaac clenches his fist as steam emits off it )
"ISAAC!" Aaron shouts
( Aaron finally manages to catch up to Isaac with him out of breathe )
"Geez man! You couldn't wait for me?" Aaron asks
Isaac replies, "sorry Aaron, I saw the old man and I needed to get a hold of him so that he wouldn't get away"
( off from the distance they see big shining lights and hear loud music coming from the distance )
"What the heck is going on over there?" Isaac asks
Aaron replies, "the heck if I know, it could be a new movie premiere for all I care"
"Come on Aaron, that's gotta be where the old man is going next?"
( Isaac kneels down to give Aaron a lift on his back, Aaron was not all that thrilled about it )
"I think I prefer the jogging" said Aaron
Meanwhile
( Isaiah, Ethan, Mia, and the bird family had finally managed to recover from the dizziness that they were experiencing, they looked all around them as the crowd was staring at them from their seats, all the floats had stopped they had felt an uneasiness in them )
"Uhh Blu? Is there supposed to be a parade happening tonight?" Isaiah asks
Blu replies, "No, Carnaval happened a week ago, it should've been done now"
( Fun Fact: the Carnival festival or the Carnaval in portugese, usually occurs either around the months of February and March, in 2017 the carnival only lasted from march 1st to the 5th...
"Now is not the time for this?!" Ethan shouts
Okay okay, geez don't blow a gasket on me )
"Who cares about some Carnival?! Right now we need to find that son of a gun that is out to kill us!" said Ethan
Jewel says, "language young man!"
( glass shards began to form right near where they were at, Ethan puts his two hands together and wind began to envelop within his hand and take shape of a hammer and finally summoning a silver hammer, the hammer was big with the grip having a green wrap around it and in the middle of the head with the two ends having an inverted bowl shape, Mia sticks out her hand and a pink light began to take form of a rapier and finally summoning a rapier, the rapier had a brown grip with the pommel, knuckle guard, and disc guard being silver, the flat part of the blade was decorated with pink flowers)
( Isaiah summons his sword and they gotten into their fighting stances while the bird family stayed behind them, the glass shards had finally come together forming the old man, the old man approaches them in a rather casual manner )
"Stay right where you are! Don't come any closer!" Mia shouts
The old man says, "That won't do you much good dear child, I can go anywhere I want with little to no time"
Ethan says, "even so, don't underestimate us! We're not the type to hesitate in a fight! Even to an old geezer like yourself!"
The old man says, "I have no doubt in mind about that, but even so you can't beat me, but very well…"
( the old man raises his arm and glass begins to form around his hand as he creates a glass rapier, he points it at the children )
"...let me test your courage and strength"
( but little did the old man realized, Isaiah ran by him at lightning speed with Isaiah being behind him, Isaiah winds his sword back and swings upwards, the old man immediately turns around and parry's the attack, the old man swings upwards while Isaiah blocks the attack, Ethan's hammer was flying towards the old man's back, the old man then puts up a glass barrier to block the attack, Isaiah then goes for a horizontal strike as to which the old man blocks the attack and then pushes the blade downward to keep Isaiah from attacking, Ethan jumps into the air while raising his hammer and coming down on the old man, the old man then turns into several glass shards and avoids Ethan's attack as the old man gets behind Ethan, Ethan turns around and the two boys charge towards the old man and began an ongoing attack, while that was happening Mia meets up with the bird family )
"Okay guys, it's time to get going" said Mia
Bia asks, "but what about the boys?"
Mia replies, "they can handle themselves, but we need to get out of here"
( Isaiah and the old man swing their blades at each other 3 times with each one ending in a clash, Ethan comes at the old man and swings his hammer horizontally with the old man dodging it by ducking down and spinning in a another direction, Isaiah then lunges at him and does a vertical strike as the old man blocks the attack, Isaiah then moves out of the way while Ethan comes at him with his hammer wind back, with hardly any time to react the old man puts a glass barrier around his torso as Ethan hits it with much force, knocking the old man as he slides on the ground, Isaiah and Ethan were charging towards him while clenching their weapons, the old man manipulates the glass barrier on his torso and uses the glass to create a wall, the boys swing their weapons at the wall, but the pressure they put ends up pushing them back and falling on the ground, not a second to lose the old man warps out of there leaving Isaiah and Ethan there )
Meanwhile
( Mia and the birds ran/fly as fast as they can with Mia using her powers to give her a little speed boost as they move past all the floats and the people that are part of the parade, but the old man was catching up to them as he was warping through as he was on one of the floats which was a bird float, the old man looks over at the other float while extending his hand, the other float began to float in the air, the people began to immediately leave the float but they ended up turning into glass as well as the float, Mia and the birds look up terrified seeing what was happening, the glass float began to tear itself apart, suddenly that float became a glass storm that mimics to that of an actual tornado, the glass storm began to suck everything in no matter how big it was, suddenly a glass box forms around Mia and the birds as they didn't get sucked in, but they did get to see what was happening, seeing all the people turning into glass and getting ripped apart while and becoming part of the glass storm )
"OH MY COD!" Tiago shouts
Meanwhile
( a spear hits a house and Jonny, David, and Violet warps on top of a house, they see the big glass storm only getting bigger and bigger as it consumes everything in its path, suddenly they began to suck up in the storm while Jonny and Violet are screaming, David looks at a the debris that were getting sucked up as he has a quick idea, he turns towards Jonny )
"Jonny! You gotta keep continuously warping away from the storm until it stops!" David shouts
"What?! But that would never work!" Violet shouts
David shouts, "JUST DO IT!"
( Jonny then summons his crossbow while David and Violet grabs onto his shoulder, he then fires the first arrow and it hits a chunk of a house, the 3 of them warp towards that location, Jonny then de summons the crossbow and then summons multiple throw knives, he he kept throwing them one after another while continuously warping away from the storm just like David said )
Meanwhile
( Isaac was leaping through the air, both him and Aaron sees the giant glass storm )
"OH *$^$! That's not good!" Aaron shouts
Isaac shouts, "hold on even tighter now!"
( Isaac turns around, both his hands and feet began to heat up with the slippers beginning to burn up, suddenly a burst of fire and flames shoots out of Isaac's hands and feet as he was pushing against the storm that was sucking them both in while Aaron screams for his life and tightens his grip on Isaac )
Meanwhile
( within the parade, Isaiah was getting sucked up to )
"OH CRAAAAAP!" Isaiah shouts
( suddenly Ethan grabs hold of his hand )
"It's okay! I got you!" Ethan shouts
( Ethan still held onto him as he wasn't affected by the storm at all, he pulls Isaiah closer as Isaiah grabs onto his jacket and pulls himself closer to his back, Isaiah then wraps his arms and legs around him as he was holding on for his dear life )
"You're lucky I was right here bro! Otherwise you would get sucked into there" said Ethan
Isaiah says, "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"
Ethan says, "no problem…"
( Ethan looks at the center of the glass storm seeing everything getting sucked in )
"...we better stop this storm before it destroys everything!"
( Ethan then uses the wind to propel himself into the air without getting sucked into the storm )
Meanwhie
( the glass storm kept getting bigger and bigger, it gotten to where the point that the statue of christ, the sand, the sea, and even bits of the forest got sucked into it, every living and non living being got turned into glass and were torn apart, Mia does her best to break free from the glass box by swinging her rapier that was enveloped in light, but no matter how many times she swung it the glass box won't break )
"COME ON! Break already!" Mia shouts
Jewel says, "Mia stop! If you do that we'll get sucked into that storm"
Mia says, "I can outrun it, If I don't open this box, Tiffany, Carolina, Linda, Tulio, my uncle, our friends, and everyone else will die If I don't get out there and fight that maniac!"
"You should listen to your friend…" said the old man
( all of them gasp as they turn around to see the old man within the glass box )
"...I built this box so that the 6 of you would be protected from it"
( Mia looked furious at him )
"YOU!" Mia shouts
( Mia then swings her rapier at him, but the blade passes right through him without even a scratch on him, the old man then passes by Mia as he approaches the birds, both Blu and Jewel stand guard to protect their children from the old man )
"Stay back! Don't come any closer!" Blu shouts
( the old man observes Blu while Mia continuously swings her rapier at the old man to no avail )
"Huh, aren't you supposed to be protecting the children from the storm?" the old man asks
( Blu and Jewel remained silent as they continued to stare at him )
"I see now, maybe If I jogged your memory, maybe it'll all make sense to you" said the old man
( the old man pulls something from his pocket and it was a photo, he then drops it in front of them, both Blu and Jewel looks at the photo, it was a blurry picture that shows a giant glowing golden bird spreading out its wings, at first Blu hardly thought anything of it, the nothing was coming to Blu's head, the old man then sighs )
"Well nothing so far, maybe another type of practice test will do" said the old man
( the old man reaches his hand out to the glass storm, while that was happening Ethan and Isaiah finally caught up to them as they were in mid air looking down on them )
"There they are! We got them now!" Isaiah shouts
( they look up to the glass storm, it got so big to where the point it was ready to combust, both Isaiah and Ethan looked a bit scared )
"aw crap" said Ethan
( Suddenly the glass storm explodes, a white light covers everything around the city of Rio, everyone within the city had turned into glass, the children began to break apart into glass pieces, the bird family turned into glass and break into many pieces, both Isaiah and Blu were the last ones left as their bodies turned into glass as well, they then end up breaking into several glass shards, soon enough everything blacked out )
well that's the end of that chapter I hoped you liked it, it was about time that we get some of that action am I right? I will admit though this wasn't my best writing when it comes to a battle, but I think it's a start of what will come.
another thing I would like to say is that these chapters are very confusing, sadly this is only the beginning of it all, so I hope y'all are paying attention or you might get lost ( it's okay to ask me for questions, I won't tell anyone )
