49. Lube
Jack blushed bright red as he tried to sink further into his high collared coat. He sighed shakily, as he remembered the most embarrassing chat with his Mother.
'Now, Jack-dear. You are becoming a young handsome man-' The woman smiled as she rested her arms around her son's neck pulling him into a hug.
'Mom, please don't-' Jack blushed, knowing exactly where this conversation is going, trying his hardest to stop the woman from carrying on.
'-and you are one day going to have sexual intercourse with a girl-' Jack looked up at her with a look, that made his Mother pause and her voice soften slightly. '-or a guy, and you will need to be safe. So I suggest you go to the store and buy some lube and some condoms. I'm only looking out for you, dear.'
Jack sighed at his Mother.
'I know, but did you have to... y'know... Besides, it's not like I will be doing... that... any time soon.' His Mother smiled sadly.
'Don't be silly, one day you will. One day, it will just happen out of the blue. But regardless, even if you don't use them, at least you are prepared for it when you are ready.' Jack smiled but blushed heavily. His Mother pushed him towards the front door with a wad of notes.
'Wait?! You want me to go now?!' Jack was horrified and his blush darkened in embarrassment. What if the monks saw him? What if-
'Yes, Jack. It's your responsibility, yours and whoever you decide to be with. Now, off you go!'
Needless to say Jack was beyond embarrassed now. Several people were walking past him, they weren't paying attention to him but Jack was sure, paranoid, that they were. Jack looked up at the shelves, how the hell was he to buy condoms and lube if he didn't know where to start. If only he had someone to trust-
"Spicer?" Jack's eyes nearly fell out of his head, embarrassment rising like a rocket. Did he have to be here..?
Jack looked over to see the warlord, dressed smartly. Jack had to admit, Chase looked damn sexy in that suit. It was a black jacket and trouser match with a white shirt, but what stood out for Jack was the crimson red tie around the warlord's neck. Chase had shiny black shoes attached to his feet instead of his sandals. He looked rather dashing and handsome. Now Chase was a man Jack would- Jack shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. The albino cleared his throat to begin speaking.
"H-hi Chase..." Jack said shyly, obviously acting like he'd been caught red handed. Chase smirked at the albino.
"I wouldn't have thought to see you, down this aisle." Jack nodded in agreement.
"Honestly, not my idea. My Mom suddenly decided that she was going to give me 'the talk' and then make me go out and buy...stuff." Jack's blush reached his ears and neck. Chase could see that all Jack wanted to do, was run.
"Is that so? Well, perhaps I could help?" Chase offered, Jack wondered if it was because they were in public and too many non- magic people were around. Chase came in closer so only Jack could hear him.
"I can smell the virginity rolling off of you. The look on your face says that you have no idea on what to do or buy. Plus, it is rather amusing to see you squirm." Chase smirked playfully, Jack laughed sadly.
"When is it not at my expense, Chase?" He asked the warlord rhetorically. Chase raised an eyebrow and then chuckled.
"First." Chase said, ignoring the albino's question entirely. "Preferences." Jack blushed.
"W-what do you mean?" Chase sighed and repeated.
"Preferences, Spicer. Do you like Women, Men.. both perhaps?" Jack blushed but understood. He felt his face was going to melt off.
"Erm..." Jack wasn't sure how to answer in front of his idol. Jack began stuttering.
"I-I-I..erm..." Chase gave an unusual sympathetic look. Jack knew it was rather misplaced on someone like Chase, it didn't suit the warlord at all.
"Spicer, if it makes you feel more comfortable, I am Bisexual. Fifteen hundred years and no experimentation? Hardly." Jack looked at Chase with wide eyes. Chase was- "Your turn, what is your preference."
Jack nodded, finding interest in his fingers.
"I-I'm Gay. I like Men...a lot." Chase chuckled at the admission but not at the answer.
"I would have pegged you as Bi, personally. I suppose I was half right." Jack looked up shyly.
"Why would you say that? Am I that obvious?...I used to be Bisexual, so I guess you were right... sort of." Chase looked impressed as he could see that the boy's blush was decreasing slightly and that Jack's confidence was slowly coming back. Jack was gaining a little more confidence.
"I suppose, the way you used to fling yourself at me, wasn't an indication?" Jack's blush came back full force.
"Sorry, I did that. I guess it was because every time you spoke to me or just showed up, I just wanted to make sure you were real and not a dream. I haven't done it since two months ago, so..." Chase placed a hand on Jack's shoulder.
"I appreciate that, but I also wish to continue to do so if you would keep it that way. It is rather unnerving." Jack nodded.
"Okay." Chase then removed his hand ignoring the disappointed look on Jack's face. Chase then cleared his throat.
"Back to the task at hand. I believe I already figured this one out, but we are still on the basis of preferences." Jack nodded, understanding again.
"Top or bottom..." Chase hummed in agreement, waiting for the albino to answer.
"Bottom.." Jack whispered quietly, embarrassed that he had to tell Chase such a thing. Now Chase was going to laugh at him and-
"Right, again." Chase chuckled, looking into the albino's eyes. Jack felt his blush leaving him, glad that Chase wasn't going to make fun of him.
"Right, in your case Spicer? Any condom will do, but for lube? Keep it water based. It will help your lover slide in easier and also avoid any unnecessary pain for yourself." Jack nodded blushing slightly still at the terminology the warlord had used. Jack looked at the condoms in front of him.
"I, personally, use these." Chase spoke with confidence as he picked up a packet. Jack read the box as it was handed over to him. 'Ribbed for your lover's pleasure, comes in different flavours.' Jack giggled at the writing.
"Flavours?" Jack looked up at Chase, with a playful yet still shy grin. Chase just grinned confidently.
"I've had no complaints." Jack laughed shyly at Chase's flirty behaviour.
"I'd advise you to wake your first time slowly. Don't rush it. The more you rush, the more it will hurt." Jack nodded and turned to the shelves again.
Jack hesitated and picked up another box this time just a standard but good condom brand. Jack then moved up the aisle and picked up a bottle of water-based lube. Jack looked up to see that Chase was also picking a bottle of lube and a box of condoms. Jack blushed. Sucking up in cowardice, Jack walked up to the warlord and pecked him on the cheek.
"Thank you, Chase. You didn't have to but... thanks." Chase smirked, stunning Jack for a moment.
"You are very welcome." Jack grinned and turned to walk away to pay. He didn't get far though.
"Oh, Spicer?" Jack looked back and saw Chase write something down on a slip of paper. Jack blushed full force again, was Chase-?
"Call me." Chase grinned dirtily at the albino and giving the slip to Jack. Jack shook his head.
"Is this a dream?" Jack said as he looked up grinning. "Because I'm sure as hell don't want to wake up." Chase chuckled and left Jack to go to the check out, not saying a word.
Jack grinned to himself.
'It will happened out of the blue.'
Jack's grin fell into a happy smile at the echo of his Mother's words. Mother's always knows what's best.
50. Compass
Jack sneezed and shivered as he trudged up a snowy mountain trail to get to the Wu, that according to his detector, was just up this way. Jack clutched his black snow coat tightly to keep himself warm. Jack looked at his compass detector and scowled at it, putting it back into his pocket.
Did it have to tell him that it was towards Russia? Jack pondered if he would see Vlad at the showdown. The podgy Russian would be delighted to see Jack, they often saw each other in the winter months; figure skating on the frozen lake near Jack's mansion.
Jack shook his head and got a move on, the snow and wind was picking up around him. It almost caused a blizzard, but Jack had a hunch it will turn into one.
Jack sniffed as he felt his nose running and spotted Dojo flying up above. Well, Jack thought, he would be late. Is there any point carrying on?
Jack could already hear them laughing as he trudged through the snow and they were in the air, more than likely, above the storm that was starting.
Jack went back into his pocket to retrieve his Wu detector only to find it was gone. Jack cursed loudly, now what. Without it he was lost, to get home and to get to the Wu. He couldn't go back and he couldn't go forward. The detector also acted as a compass!
His best bet was to find a cave or some sort of shelter, Vlad had always mentioned that. Since Vlad often went hiking, he would tell Jack about his adventures and his survival guide. Jack was glad he listened. Jack looked around the terrain as much as he could. The snow wasn't helping but he noticed something black in the distance. Jack walked towards it, it became clear it was merely a rock, soaked by the snow.
The genius growled, now what? Jack realised that maybe going into the storm was the worst thing you could do, but at the same time going out of it could lead to misjudgement, going off trail and maybe stumbling off the mountain.
Jack couldn't do anything.
He waded through the snow, his trousers soaked and cold, towards thick trees to the left of him. He walked briskly as much as could and found a little ditch. The ditch was covered from the tress so at least the snow wouldn't catch him.
Jack sat down and felt his teeth chattering. He was going to freeze to death, and nobody would actually miss him. Jack sneezed and pulled his hood over his forehead hoping to block the chilling wind. He rubbed his gloved hands together in false hope that they would warm up. It was hopeless.
Jack slowly laid to the floor, shivering and nearly in tears. What would he do? Nothing. Jack Spicer gave up all hope. He had no fire, not much of a shelter, no food, no water and most of all, no robots.
Jack was all alone.
Jack closed his ruby eyes, he felt so tired. He faintly remembered Vlad telling him that sleeping in the cold this bad, can actually cause death. But Jack didn't care anymore. He botched up his quest for getting the Wu, he was an idiot and forgot to bring his bots...
Jack felt so cold that he was beginning to turn numb, Jack tried to move but nothing wanted to.
Hypothermia then, Jack deduced, that or frost bite. Jack snuggled into his coat and then everything went black.
Jack didn't know how long he'd been out for but slowly he opened his eyes. The first thing he realised was that he was warm.
Wait.
Warm?
Jack forced his eyes to open a bit further, but he struggled to focus. After a few seconds, he looked around the room he was in. It was very fancy, Chinese style. Jack wondered where he could be.
"It seems you have finally awakened, Spicer." Jack knew that voice, but he was so tired to try and talk.
Ever so slowly he moved his head to the other side of the room, to see Chase in the doorway; carrying three hot water bottles. Jack blinked tiredly at the warlord.
"W-wha-" Chase shushed the boy from speaking.
"You went after a Wu and lost your detector, to which one of my cats found in the snow, and we then found you in a ditch, covered in more snow. You were blue when we found you, Spicer."
Jack would have been shocked, but he just closed his eyes. He was sure Chase would just tell him anyway.
"You were very foolish, Spicer." Jack wanted to laugh. He already knew that. "You worry me, sometimes." Jack's eyes snapped open.
What?
Jack looked over to see Chase nod at him.
"You are a genius and yet you are the most stupid fool I have ever met. You lack the very basics of common sense, you think too far ahead without paying attention to the present matter and..." Jack looked away not wanting to hear what Chase had to say next. Chase paused but then carried on.
"But I haven't met anyone as stubborn as you. You are always determined to get what you want." Jack felt Chase place the hot water bottles around his body, feeling the heat and relishing in it. Jack looked back at Chase again. Chase's eyebrows knotted together with concern then it flickered straight back to his usual standoff-ish attitude. Chase didn't say a word and Jack watched him pull a quilt over his still shivering body.
Jack noticed that Chase hadn't slept, the bag under his eyes were a tell tale sign. Jack wondered why Chase would go out of his way, just to help an idiot like himself, as Chase so painstakingly put it.
"Than-" Jack panted out, not quite able to say the words he wanted to say. But Chase understood.
"Stop talking, rest. I will make some soup for you to eat. Slowly, but surely you will be up and moving again... and out of my hair." Jack smiled tiredly.
Chase did care, but was too prideful to say anything. Jack managed to move his hand and place it onto Chase's. Chase looked Jack in the eye before pulling away, clearing his throat. Jack noticed the soft blush that dusted across the warlord cheeks, it made him smile.
"Now, stop fighting it. Rest." Jack closed his eyes and slept happily, knowing that his idol did care and probably loved him too.
51. Window
Jack grinned at the sight of the Chinese dragon in the shop window. It was fantastic, it was beautiful... it was the perfect gift to give to Chase for their three year anniversary.
It was almost magical when they first got together. Jack had finally won a showdown and with fantastic treachery and deceived the monks beautifully. He didn't gloat during the showdown and he focused on the prize.
Chase had spotted the new change in Jack and like it. Needless to say, when Jack finally won and merely grinned at the monks, he bumped into Chase. The warlord kept him steady and told the genius, point blank, that he was ready. Read to become Chase's minion and apprentice. Jack was worried because of his past loyalty. Chase said that he will give his in return as well as plenty of patience.
Jack happily took the offer without any other doubts.
Back at the shop, Jack had walked in a asked how much the dragon in the window cost. The female clerk squinted her already slanted eyes at the boy, as if to glare at him.
"Dragon not for sale, we no sell to demon boy." Jack looked shocked. Demon? That was a new one.
"That's very disrespectful. I'm albino, it's a group of recessive genes in my body and-" The lady interrupted him.
"You harrass, you leave now!" Jack was then picked up by two men that came from the back of the store and shoved him out of the door. Jack looked back at the dragon in the window. There's Chase's present gone. Now what could Jack get him? Nothing seemed worthy enough.
Jack walked away from the store, after look back through the glass to see the woman smirking at him. Jack scowled and stalked off.
"Spicer!" Jack stopped and turned to see Chase walking up to him. Chase smiled and wrapped his arms around the lithe body of the albino genius. Jack smiled back and leaned into the muscle bond body of the warlord.
"Are you alright? You looked irritated." Jack sighed, looking up into the warlord's ember eyes.
"I was chucked out of a store. Because our anniversary is coming up I wanted to get a present for you. I saw the perfect present in the shop window so I went in to buy it and the lady chucked me out." Chase seethed at the mere suggestion that someone had man handled his property.
"Show me." Jack knew fighting the warlord would end up in an argument so he merely walked to the store with Chase in hand.
Upon arrival, Jack pointed at the dragon in the window.
"That's what I wanted to get you." Chase looked at it and smiled.
"I see why, it's very beautiful. Much like my consort." Jack smiled and blushed cutely at the compliment. Chase then entered the store, pulling Jack inside with him.
The lady behind the desk immediately recognised Chase, it seemed, and paled drastically.
"Wǒ hěn shēngqì, fūrén. Nǐ jùjué fúwù, zuò wǒ de zhàngfū, , wǔrǔ tā dòng cū, tā ràng tā líkāi nǐ de diàn. Nǐ shuō shénme?" Chase spat at the woman, Jack had trouble keeping up with the furious Chinese that was spoken
The woman stuttered in Chase's presence. Completely intimated by the fellow Chinese citizen. She turned to Jack bowing her head.
"Sorry, sorry! You buy dragon! We give half price, good deal! You take good deal!" Jack gaped at the woman, in his peripheral he could see Chase smirking at the grovelling woman which inwardly made him giggle with glee.
"Okay, how much?" Jack asked the woman. Jack had purchase the dragon and the woman had neatly wrapped it up, with shaky hands, and placed it in a very nice box to keep it safe. The parcel was then placed in a bag to which was then easier for the genius to carry.
Jack smiled to the lady, feigning politeness.
"Thank you!"
"Please, you come again!" The woman bowed her head again, scared to anger the warlord any further.
The two left the store with smiles. As soon they were out of sight of the store the two of them laughed at the sheer thrill.
"I can't believe you did that, Chase!" Chase grinned at Jack.
"I'm not going to allow my consort to be badly treated. You are to be treated like a prince - my prince. " Jack blushed again at the evil sweetness the warlord showed towards him.
"Let us go eat, Spicer. I have gotten rather peckish after that." Jack smiled and linked hand with Chase. Jack never felt so lucky to have Chase as his Master and his lover.
Lube - *blushes* I have no idea what the hell I'm talking about, okay?! I know how Jack feels...*embarrassed and pokes her fingers together*
Compass - DON'T HURT ME! T_T
Window - Heh! *evil giggle* You tell that bitch Chase!
Chinese: Wǒ hěn shēngqì, fūrén. Nǐ jùjué fúwù, zuò wǒ de zhàngfū, , wǔrǔ tā dòng cū, tā ràng tā líkāi nǐ de diàn. Nǐ shuō shénme? - I am very offended, madam. You refuse service to my consort, insulted him then manhandled him to have him exit your store. What do you say to that?
Three again today!
