74. Change

Omi and the gang head out to the vast forests in Brazil, namely the Amazon. Raimundo was ecstatic to be home again, telling the rest of the monks how fun it was. Kimiko smiled at her boyfriend's behaviour, glad that the moody leader was now happy for once.

Clay took off his hat and fanned himself with it, whilst batting away the flies.

"Woo-ee! It's so hot out here, and it's like watching a horse bat away flies with its tail! Yo, Dojo, how much further?" Clay drawled, causing the green dragon to slither out from Omi's robe.

"I know how you feel, I'm roasting!" Dojo mock cried. "If I'm not careful, Chase might snatch me up!" Clay, Raimundo and Kimiko understood the joke; chuckling; whilst Omi cradled Dojo like a baby.

"That nasty Chase Young will not get his filthy fingers on you! I will not allow it!" Raimundo choked at the butchered slang and mumbled, 'Filthy Hands'. To which Omi piped up with, 'That too!'

"Well, Kids, it's not far now, if the blistering is any indication." Dojo said as he lifted up his tail for his friends to see, all of them cringing at the sight of it. Kimiko even had to look away, fearing she would throw up.

"I wonder if Jack Spicer will be there this time." The three elder monks all looked towards the smallest with small smiles on their faces.

"I doubt it, Chrome-dome. He's been gone for a few years now. To be honest, I don't blame him. Poor guy, couldn't fight to save his life." Raimundo said, remembering the albino boy genius.

"That's right, ol' girly Spicer. It's still not right when we don't seeing him at a showdown though, regardless if he ain't gunna win. I do miss his robots, they were fun toys to break." Clay laughed, causing everyone else to.

"Yeah, those were the days. I wonder what he's doing now? I mean, I know he's evil but he was sorta stuck in the middle, wasn't he?" Raimundo hummed, completely agreeing with her.

"He wasn't quite evil, but at the same time not quite good either. It must be weird to be kinda neutral." Omi cleared his throat to butt in to the conversation.

"One must not be judgemental, it is not their place. Especially if you are judged as someone you are not. Jack Spicer may not be a good fighter, but he was very smart. I could never make robots." Kimiko smiled and rubbed Omi's head gently.

"We aren't making fun of him in that way, Omi. He is very skilled in some areas. Sure the ones he needs are not fantastic, but the ones he has are brilliant. Like his brain, he is extremely smart for someone his age, he would go very far. He could use his smarts to create cures for diseases, or maybe he could...completely override the governments systems and nuke every country." The monks all looked at her with strange looks, which made her laugh.

"Hey, I'm seeing it from his point of view, as he really is kinda stuck in the middle." The monks agreed and carried on walking.

"What wu are we looking for anyway?" Kimiko asked as she looked over at Dojo. The green dragon pulled out the scroll and opened it.

"The Secret Stone. There nothing really known about this wu, only that I can do some damage when in the hands of evil. I don't remember Dashi talking about this one... he must of made it in private... probably felt guilty for Chase crossing over."

"Oh, how sad. Pity that I don't really give a damn." Came the voice of none other than Chase Young. The monks took their defensive stances and saw Chase walk up to them.

"Greetings, young monks." Chase said with fake politeness, a smirk upon his lips. Omi growled towards the ex-monk in front of him.

"Chase Young. What are you doing here?" Chase grinned at the animosity that was aimed at him.

"I am rather bored, thought I'd come to see some children fight over a toy. I will not be your opponent. Just... a bystander this time." Chase said, bowing at the waist to prove he was submitting to them. "You have my word." Omi sighed, and stood straight.

"Fine, but your pride will be on the dot." Omi countered quietly, causing Raimundo to face palm.

"It's 'on the li-', oh forget it. Let's just go find the wu!" Chase followed behind them, acting rather aloof.

It wasn't long before Dojo started complaining more and more about his tail, did they realise that the wu was near. Raimundo cheered.

"Finally! Everyone spread out!" The monks spread out as Chase sat upon a rock nearby and began meditating.

Clay was rummaging through the bushes, Omi used his elemental powers to see in to the river, Kimiko looked on the ground and behind rocks, and Raimundo looked high in the trees. They looked high and low for the wu but could not find it.

Chase cracked open an eye after a while and ended up watching the monks, fiddling around for a silly trinket of minimal magic. He smirked, almost laughing at their petty actions.

Soon Omi spotted it on the other side of the river, hidden in tall swaying grass and slightly under a fallen branch.

"THERE!" Omi shouted with glee as he ran across the water, with the aid of his magic, and crossed to the other side. Chase and the others crossed via Dojo, except Chase merely hopped across because he didn't wish to get his sandals wet.

Omi leant down and removed the blanch to reveal and red glowing stone. It glistened in the sunlight. It was magnificent.

Suddenly, there was a scurry of footsteps. Chase and the monks were on high alert, not knowing what or who this was. The footsteps got closer and quicker, and then skidded to a halt. The monks looked around to try and see the new comer, but there was no one there. The only thing they could hear was breathing but it was very quiet. Chase growled.

"You are using the Shroud of Shadows. Come out, coward." Omi looked towards the wu and saw the grass move ever so gently. If he hadn't heard what Chase had said, he would have easily mistaken it for the wind. Omi jumped towards the grass and aimed to make a grab for the wu.

What shocked everyone, was that Omi was knocked back and into Clay, the both of them falling back and into the mud.

"I am sorry, Clay." Omi muttered as he got up from Clay's lap. The cowboy smiled with a grimace. "No worries, partner. A little mud hurt no one." They all looked back at the wu and the Shroud of Shadows was pulled off to reveal a man. The peculiar part was that he was wearing something similar that of Tubbimura, ninja-wise.

He had long white hair that pulled into a ponytail, quite high upon his head. His clothes were also white, and grey in some places. He carried nothing else but his pride. His red eyes stood out through the gap of his mask.

Chase looked at his eyes, uncertainty crossing his face. Had he met this stranger before?

The stranger held the wu in his left hand and lifted up to show it the monks, almost taunting them with it. Raimundo shook his head to get out of the stupor he was in.

"Look, dude, I don't know if you know, but that is a very delicate stone you are holding. It would be a very good decision to give that to us and we will keep it safe from people." The stranger didn't look at all phased and clutched the stone tighter in his hand. He turned sharply and made a run for it. Chase hummed at the action.

"Not a very good tactic, but I suppose it does work." Chase took off after the young stranger and the monks not far behind.

The stranger in front chuckled and ran a little faster. Chase sped faster to try and catch up to him, but he was a shy-ways from him. They rushed in and out of trees, around and over rocks just to catch up to this new foe.

The monks ended up sitting on dojo's back and flying ahead to capture the man. Only, the stranger was extremely...slippery?

Dojo and the Monks struggled to keep the man in one place. Chase stopped and watched as the man was slowly winning against the monks. Not once had he let go of the wu, keeping it clutched in his hand. The stranger had batted the monk away like they were flies. Chase started to like the way this man was fighting, but it was exactly like it was done by the book.

Almost...mechanical. Chase grinned, he knew exactly who this was. He was sure of it, the man that stood before him, was once a boy who didn't know how to fight and hold on his own. He had no common sense and certainly he was unable to be taught. Or so he thought.

The monks laid broken and bruised in the muddy puddles, the man most certainly won this fight. Chase chuckled and gave the stranger a small round of applause.

"Well done, I'm very impressed. Congratulations on your victory. You have grown up brilliantly too," Chase grinned as he crossed his arms over his chest and stood in front of the man. "Jack Spicer." The man's eyes clearly widened for a moment, but then they closed as he chuckled.

"Aww, just when I was having so much fun! What gave me away?" The man removed his mask to reveal that he was in fact Jack Spicer. Omi coughed, causing the two Heylin to look over.

"I told you Jack would come back." Omi smiled cockily, albeit tired. Raimundo coughed out a 'shut up, dome-head' as they all struggled to stand, let alone move at all.

Jack laughed and held up the wu, inspecting it. He looked up and caught his ruby gaze with Chase's ember ones, sharing silent respect for the other. Jack then looked back at the monks with a smirk and then at the wu. Jack grinned and aimed it at the monks.

"I heard what it was called, so let's find out what this really does. SECRET STONE!" Jack cackled wickedly as the stone glowed within his fingertips. The glow continued to radiate and Jack smirked as he felt power flow through him.

"Oh, that's what it does...I like it..." Jack said seductively as he felt the pleasure of evil enter his veins. Chase groaned quietly to himself, watching the albino intently. While he felt jealous of not realising how powerful the wu was, he couldn't help but want Jack for himself. It was a strange feeling for the warlord, but Chase now knew it wasn't an option. Jack was going to be his.

"It seems we have tipped the scales, Spicer. What are you going to do?" Chase propositioned as he smirked his approval at the boy turned man. Jack grinned with obvious happiness but not once was his evil aura taken from him.

"How about we rid the world of these pathetic excuses for monks? Perhaps we can salvage the remains if they have any wu..." Jack said lowly, causing Chase to walk forward and pull the albino to his side. Chase wrapped an arm around Jack's waist, causing Jack to place his arms around Chase's shoulders.

"Then if you'll have me, I'd like to be your apprentice... or more." Jack teased, causing the hold to tighten around him. Their noses almost touching. They could hear the monks almost complaining at the scene, but they were ignored.

"That seems like a fair deal to me." Chase flirted as he fired up green flames in his palm.

"Who goes first?" Chase asked 'politely', Jack giggled at the hidden animosity.

"Omi first, I don't want him to be a part of your attention any more. I'm afraid I'm very selfish." Chase chuckled at the honest admission.

"Very well." Chase clicked his fingers and the monks lit up in flames, slowly roasting. Omi tried to conjure up his water magic, but to no avail. Their screams filled the air and Jack laughed. Jack lifted up his palm and pointed it at the monks. Black flames arose with the green, mixing and intensifying.

Chase pulled the albino into a kiss, his hand cradling Jack's head. Jack moaned audibly and clawed at Chase's black mane. The warlord growled as the kiss deepened, tongues coming into play. They kissed passionately as the screams of the monks got louder and then suddenly stopped. Jack pulled away from the warlord with a smack of their lips.

"Let's get the wu and Dojo now, then perhaps we can get back to, what we started here, at the citadel... right, Chase?" Jack grinned saucily, causing Chase to grin back in turn.

"Absolutely."

75. Gaming

Watching Jack play video games was the weirdest yet amusing thing Chase had ever seen. One moment Jack was yelling obscenities at the screen and then the next he was screaming from jump scares. Chase couldn't help but laugh at the strange behaviour his mate was expressing.

Currently, Jack was playing the well known Left4Dead 2. Jack was playing as the loveable Georgian, Ellis, yelling at the screen about the hick's stories. He was playing the swamp fever campaign and sniping from a safe house to rid the game of one less hunter from a distance. Once Ellis had finished talking, thankfully interrupted by Nick, Jack exited the safe house and the hunter was shot.

"Finally!" Jack cried out as he moved forward, only to stop in his tracks when the music started.

"Oh glob no! No! NO!" The characters cried out 'TANK!' as Jack ran towards buildings to avoid getting attacked, only to be tossed away like rag doll. Jack noisily pressed buttons on his controller to try and get his character to stand up quicker.

"Come on- NO!" Jack was only knocked down again and his health in the red. Jack growled as he could only watch as his health almost diminished. The Tank was killed and Jack was finally on his feet. Jack readied himself to take his health pack when a charger knocked him down. This here caused Jack to scream, dropping his controller to the floor and burying his head into Chase's legs.

The warlord burst into laughter.

"Chase, it's not funny! That bastard came out of nowhere!" Jack sobbed into Chase's lap. Chase ceased his laughing eventually and caressed the ruby locks.

"It is funny, my Jack. You are very amusing." Jack pouted cutely as he sat up, refusing to look Chase in the eye. Chase smiled and leaned forward to peck his consort on the lips, and placed the controller back into lily-white hands. "I'm sure you will beat the campaign eventually, my love." Jack sighed and snuggled into the warlord's lap, leaning against Chase's naked torso.

"It's embarrassing when it's on easy though..." Chase comforted his mate by wrapping his arms around Jack's middle and pressing a kiss to his temple. Jack smiled at the sweetness and turned his head to kiss the warlord back.

"That is how everyone starts, my love. They start from the bottom and work their way up." Jack nodded and turned back to the screen, completing the necessary requirements to restart the campaign.

Jack snuggled further into Chase, but briefly as the loading screen appeared and finished.

Twenty minutes later into to the campaign, Jack was half way through. He was out of bullets and only had one pistol.

"Please, oh please let there be ammo somewhere...AHA!" Jack pleaded then cried with happiness as there was ammo laying on the floor near a flooded area.

It didn't take long for Jack to finally get to the finale, furthest he had gotten on this campaign. Jack exhaled shakily as he readied to make a run for it to the plantation.

Needless to say, it wasn't long before Jack had almost completed the wait for the boat towards the end. Chase watched as Jack made a run for it to the opened gates to get to the boat.

"COME ON! GO AWAY! GET OFF! YEAH! YEAH! NO! NO!" Jack said as he was swamped by zombies left and right. Jack shoved them away and shot like a mad man, all the while running forward. Jack jumped onto the boat, cheering.

"YEAH! I DONT CARE ABOUT YOU FUCKERS! I WILL WIN THIS CAMPAIGN!" Jack said as he shot his computer team mates making him the only survivor on the boat. The ending sequence began and Jack cheered, finally happy he managed to complete the campaign and win his 20G achievement.

"FINALLY! Oh my glob that took forever!" Jack said as he threw his controller to the other side of the sofa and collapsed, with relief, into Chase's bare chest. Chase chuckled.

"See, a little perseverance and, according to you, eliminating your team mates, allowed you to overcome a situation and achieved your goal." Jack grinned, now tired and hungry.

"Dinner in bed, babe?" Chase chuckled, at the question.

"Only this once."

75. Ruby

Jack giggled as Chase pulled him in closer to his body, ready to dance. It was ever so sweet that Chase would still take Jack on dates, regardless if they had been together for 20 years now. Happy, for 20 years. Jack smiled as Chase made him twirl and back again.

They shared minute but passionate kiss as they came face to face. Chase grinned and waltzed his lover around the dance floor, like a true gentlemen. Jack snickered at that thought, not that it wasn't true but because of the irony as Chase was very much evil.

Chase and Jack had shared their love for 20 years, and Chase had taken Jack to a ball to show off each other to the public and what they couldn't have.

Singing to themselves and only to each other, they sang about their love and how nothing else mattered but them. Once they finished, Chase led them outside and to an outdoor table that was decorated to the highest standard. Jack grinned cutely at Chase, it was beautiful.

"Chase, what's all this for? I mean, I'm not ungrateful or anything-" Chase pulled out a chair and Jack took the invitation to sit down. Once comfortable and Chase was seated, Jack continued. "And I understand that you are merely spoiling me, just because you can and want to." Jack giggled, causing Chase to grin back in reply. "But really, what's all this for?" Jack asked, completely curious. Conveniently, food was placed in front of them, silencing Jack for moment. It was a sort of pasta dish which Jack was rather fond of.

"Bon appetite, Jack." Chase said chuckling as he waited for his lover to take the first bite. Jack did so and hummed in appreciation.

"It's soooo good." Jack said, licking his lips after he swallowed. Chase chuckled dirtily.

"That's what she said." Jack laughed like a dork and shovelled in another mouthful of his dinner.

Their meal went on without any inconveniences and they just sat and talked for a while.

"But seriously, Chase, you should of seen her. Her dress was blue, poofy and completely too old for her. She was about twelve and the dress looked like it was for someone in their twenties! It was absolutely ridiculous!" Chase chuckled as did Jack and they chinked glasses in a toast to their love.

"While we are on the subject, my Jack, we have been together for 20 years now. 20 happy and evil long years, and I am glad I allowed you to take me out for that one date all those years ago." Jack smiled remembering that day, good lord was that a pain to get Chase just to agree on one date!

"Today, marks that day... 20 years since you have bugged me for that date." Jack grinned as Chase hands from across the table, holding them gently in his own. Jack felt like he knew what was going to happen but refused to say anything in case he jinxed it.

"Jack Spicer, my soul mate, my lover, my other half, my evil partner..." Jack felt tears well up in his eyes as he realised that what this about was actually true. He watched as Chase pulled a hand back to reach into his suit jacket pocket, to pull out a small box. Jack sniffed and pulled both his hands back to cover his mouth in shock.

Chase grinned and stood to stand in front of Jack.

"You were persistent in trying to gain my attention, and you succeeded in getting my heart in the process." Chase smiled as he knelt down on one knee. Jack started flapping his arms whilst sat in his seat. Feeling happy and embarrassed, but in the good way. "You wormed your way into my life, my home and my heart, " Jack laughed at the hidden joke and the old insult. "And I cannot see my life without you in it." Jack felt tears drop onto his cheeks.

"Jack Spicer, will you make me the happiest man in the history of the world... and become my consort, my husband and my one and only?" Jack couldn't speak but nodded like a moron and jumped into Chase's arms, kissing him soundly. Jack forced himself to breathe and pulled back. Once he found his voice, Jack spoke.

"YES, YOU OVERGROWN DRAGON!" Chase laughed and opened the box to reveal the most majestic ring Jack had ever laid eyes on. It was eighteen karat gold band, that was encrusted with diamonds. But the band was not complete, it was wound around Jack's finger when placed. On one end was a dragon and the other was a phoenix, both had rubies for eyes. It was beautiful.

"Oh Chase... I... Oh my glob! I don't know what to say!" Chase laughed, obviously please with what had happened.

"Then don't say a word, beloved. It's just you and me." Chase whispered as he pulled Jack into a sweet and passionate kiss.
