"Jack dear! Can you come upstairs please?" Jack groaned as his mother's voice filled the lab via the speaker that Jack created especially for his parents. He made it so they could talk to him if need be. Usually they left him alone but today, it seems that his mother wanted to talk to him this afternoon. He sighed heavily and replied into his computer.
"Coming, be right there..." He finished his work for the moment and grabbed a cloth to wipe clean his hands with, to remove any of the grease on his hands, as much as possible anyway. He then made his way up the stairs to speak to his mother. Once visible to her eyes, Jack's mother tutted at his appearance. Jack was wearing a black grey tank top which had bleach stains on it, which was furthermore covered in grease patches where Jack splashed or wiped his hands on. Old discoloured blue jeans with the same grease stains on, along with old blue sneakers.
"Jakkios Adrian Spicer! Look at the state of you! Any one would think you were dragged through an engine backwards... tinkering again?" Jack smiled sheepishly at her and shrugged his shoulders, making his mother snort.
"Right, jump in the shower immediately, young man. We have guests coming over soon and I want you present for it." Jack rolled his eyes sassily, thinking this was going to be a disaster.
"Okay, fine. When are they due to get here? In an hour?" She nodded and smiled kindly.
"Yes sweetheart. So please finish what you are doing or put away what you were doing, as we have them over and I want the place and you spotless!" Jack laughed roguishly, amused at her choice of words.
"Mom..." Jack started but then decided against it. Jack got his stubborn attitude from her anyway so it was not worth arguing with her.
"Fine, let me put stuff away and I'll be upstairs... What are they here for?" Jack asked but received no answer as his mother began pottering around the house to clean. Jack laughed to himself, shaking his head. Fine, he would have to wait then. Jack bolt back into his lab and cleaned up after himself. He wondered what his mother was up to. The woman was an enigma sometimes. He wondered if these people were here for a business deal or were here to just to get to know the Spicer's better.
"Hm..." Jack often thought if his parents would marry him off but honestly it would never happen. His mother was adamant that as long as he was happy. Jack shrugged and made his way upstairs to get ready.
He jumped in the shower not long after he reached the bathroom and started to wash out the washout the red hair dye to reveal his natural snow white colour. Luckily the dye didn't stain his hair pink and washed right out. He washed off his makeup, eyeliner and dark eyebrow pencil washed clean of his features, leaving lovely white eyebrows and lashes. After washing his face he moved on with the rest of his body. Once he was all clean and dried off with a black fluffy towel, he made his way to his wardrobe. He plucked out a black dress shirt with a red tie, black dress pants, black shiny shoes and obviously silky black underwear. Jack smirked at his choice of fashion for the night. Might as well go all out, he supposed.
After Jack dressed himself he looked in the mirror and decided that he looked decent enough. He hated his natural colours so much as it made him look... well... dead. He was so white it wasn't even funny. Jack shrugged and ran a hand into his locks and shook them about. He decided that a messy look suited him best with the look he had going, his fringe now forward and covering his ruby eyes.
He looked at himself again and smirked, he actually looked really good! Maybe he could own his natural look after all. He left the smirk on his face and grabbed the sleeves of his shirt and pushed them up to his elbows, folding them to the crook of his arms neatly. Satisfied with his look he made his way down stairs and spotted his mother in the kitchen. Grinning, he called to her.
"Hey, Mom, this better?" His mother turned and she wolf whistled while she looked him up and down. Jack snorted in amusement.
"I have such a handsome son! I really do think you should leave your look like this, honey. You look so much more mature, dear..." Jack made a face in uncertainty but remembered his reflection and wondered if he could agree also.
"Maybe every once in a while... It's not me, you know that." Jack's mother placed her hand on his cheek and smiled at him.
"Any way, who is actually coming? You kinda blanked me earlier." Jack asked as he pulled away from his mother's gentle grasp. His mother grinned sheepishly, which reminded Jack of himself and how he looked.
"Sorry, sweetie, he's a business partner who is bringing his family with him. His son his about your age... he's quite the looker to be honest..." Jack grinned and snickered. There she goes! Miss matchmaker!
"Mom..." Jack whined jokingly.
"Oh leave me alone! I just want you to be happy Jack." Jack shook his head at his mother with a smile and waited for the guests to arrive.
That meeting went down like a lead balloon. Jack was fuming, the other family couldn't apologise enough but the damage was done. Jack's mother ranted and raved at them for about an hour about decency.
"You are lucky I don't lock your son up for sexual harassment! Poor Jack didn't have a chance! Pinned against a wall when he's clearly uncomfortable?!" Jack simply left his mother to deal with it and disappeared to his lab downstairs. He hated his look now, definitely. He made him seem weak and vulnerable... at least as his gothic self he could speak his mind at best. It's bad enough he couldn't fight. He didn't need this...
Jack sighed and sat down in his chair at his desk and lent back, relaxing for a moment. All of a sudden there was a shift in the air and a electrical feeling seared through his body. Teleportation magic, he figured He looked up and saw Chase walk out from the shadows. However, the look of confusion on his face caused Jack to pause.
"Hey Chase, something up? Not sure how I can help you today... to be honest I've had a horrible evening and I just want to chill- Are you okay?" Chase looked extremely bewildered.
"S-spicer? Is that you?" Jack snorted.
"Of course it's me, who else would it- oh right." A white lock of hair entered his vision and he realised that his look must be strange for Chase, who was used to seeing his gothic attire. "Ha, in that case, you never have seen an albino before?" Jack giggled at his words, he was sure that Chase would see the funny side but the lack of humour from the other confused Jack too. So instead he went to explain his look.
"I use wash out hair dye and I use makeup like eyeliner and mascara and eyebrow pencil- That's it. I know I look like a freak, but that's life for me haha!" Chase didn't have anything to say, his golden eyes were glued to the genius, which made Jack uncomfortable.
"W-What?" Feeling a little self conscious, Jack raised his hand to push his locks back was ordered not to by Chase.
"Don't." Jack dropped his hand into his lap and looked away, shyly.
"Stand up and come to me..." Not wanting to anger Chase, Jack did as he was told and stood in front of the warlord and looked up into his eyes.
"How in the world did you grow up so fast? Just yesterday you were a child... have you used a spell or-" Jack let out a laugh, quickly composing himself in case he upset Chase.
"Chase, I'm 23... I haven't been a kid for a while..." Chase balked.
"What?!"
"I'm 23, you met me when I was 17 Chase. It's not that weird is it? I mean you have kidnapped me from my bath and my room a few times." Jack laughed cheekily, this was really weird...
"This is really weird... Chase you sure you're okay?"
"When did you get so attractive? No that's not even covering how you are right now... beautiful... no...gorgeous?" Seeing Chase stutter and mumble was quite the sight... not that it was helping Jack's pounding heart as he listened to the words that piled out of the elders mouth. Jack blushed heavily.
"W-what do you mean?! I haven't changed! I'm still the same Jack Spicer, Evil boy Genius! Except boy genius probably doesn't fit well anymore..." Chase snapped out of it and growled.
"Enough, I can't believe you've hidden your true beauty from me..." Jack tensed, unsure of what Chase meant.
"Chase this is weird... I don't... Look let me change and- eep!" Chase pulled his tie and yanked the boy closer. Tilting Jack's head to the side, he observed the black hickey that resided there. Chase growled and spoke through gritted teeth.
"What is that?" Jack panicked and told Chase what happened during his mothers business dinner date. Chase almost marched up there if Jack hadn't of said that his mother was dealing with the other party.
"Spicer, from now on you are mine. Also you are to avoid your old look. It made you look childish. I will be back for you in the morning." Jack frown sadly, this wasn't what he hoped it would go. But he had no choice. If he said no he'd anger the warlord. So Jack let his head hang and nodded. At least he could finally belong to Chase... even if Chase didn't belong to him. Jack felt his eyes tear up at the thought but he blinked them away and waited for the warlord to leave.
"Spicer..?" Jack's eyes widened and he looked up slowly to see Chase looking at him with curiosity.
"I-I'm fine!" Jack said smiling widely; even he didn't fall for his false smile. Chase certainly didn't...
"I said something to upset you. You do realise that it will only be just the two of us, right?" Jack bolted up and looked at Chase.
"Y-you mean-" Chase looked disgusted which made Jack frown again.
"Sorry... I didn't-" Jack was cut off by a passionate kiss upon his lips. Jack moaned as Chase forced his tongue in and playing with his own. They moved their lips and tongues together for a few seconds until Chase pulled away, with just a small string of saliva connecting them briefly. Jack's face must have looked lustful as he noticed that Chase was smirking with pride.
"I'll be back for you in the morning..." Chase whispered as he pulled away and teleported out of the lab. Jack panted where he stood, eyes lidded but a large lustful grin attached to his face. It reached ear to ear. Jack let out a breathy laugh and sighed. He needed to calm down...
"Jack dear... are you alright?" The voice made Jack jump, blush and he scrambled to the console of his computer. Hitting the button, he called up to his mother.
"H-hey Mom, I'm fine. I'll be up in a sec."
Dear god... that was close. Jack then wondered if he could talk to- screw it he was talking to his mother.
Jack ran up the stairs and left his lab to find his mother in the kitchen again. She noticed him immediate and was instantly by his side, holding him in a motherly embrace.
"Oh sweetheart, I'm so sorry. I didn't know he would do that... Are you alright- Oh my god did he give you that?! I will kick his ass for laying his lips on you-"
"Mom it's okay." His mother stopped at her son's very calm reply.
"Jack?" Jack had a smile on his face which he was sure that his mother to decipher.
"What happened when you were in the lab sweetie?" She asked and Jack delivered. She squealed loudly when Jack had a dopey look in his face when he spoke about his and Chase's kiss.
"See... told you. You look way better with your natural look Jack!"
Jack grinned, he might just agree with that. No, he will agree with that.

Jack sat on Chase's throne waiting for any sign of his lover to come home. Since Jack had to be home due to being extremely ill with a fever and the flu that had been going round, Chase went instead to a family gathering with the Spicer's on his behalf. Jack smiled as he remembered how Chase was sweet enough to volunteer for himself to go while Jack rested to get better at home in the citadel.
His mother was overjoyed when she heard that Jack was finally in a relationship and demanded that she meet Chase. Chase accepted with amusement and they were instantly friends, swapping stories of their evil quests. This meeting was to meet Jack's father and his side of the family. Unfortunately, Jack's parents were divorced and no longer seeing each other. Jack was 11 when they split, but they agreed to stay friends for the sake of Jack and his two siblings. Since Jack was the eldest of the three children, Jack was next in line to take over his father's company and money. Jack honestly didn't want it, wanting to distribute it amongst his siblings and leave it to them. Jack's father didn't like the decision but was happy enough that it was staying within the family and not being extinguished.
Chase went in his stead to argue his case for his siblings to take it instead, obviously with the guidance they need and to allow Jack to stay by Chase's side. Jack did mention to Chase that if any problems were to arise, to call him immediately. So far nothing had caused Chase to call, but then again Chase had a way with words so there won't be a reason for him to call. Jack sighed in boredom then coughed when the warm air tickled his already saw throat. Denahi was instantly at his side with a bottle of medicine and a spoon. Jack locked on to the servant's silhouette and smiled at him. Jack snuggled into his blanket further that he stole from his and Chase's bed. He didn't fight Denahi as he fed him the medicine presented to him, even if it tasted like shit, not that he ever ate shit!
Jack swallowed with a grimace and pulled a funny face as the foul tasting liquid was left on his tongue for a little while. Denahi chuckled and asked how Jack was doing.
"I'm fine. We'll as fine as I can be, anyway. I know I have you and the cats but I miss Chase. I'm so used to him being near me twenty four seven, it's weird when he isn't here." Jack sighed again and Denahi knelt down beside Jack, placing a hand on Jack's leg towards his knee cap in comfort.
"You will be alright, Jack, Mast won't be long now." Jack saw the hand on his leg and instantly darted his eyes back to the other man in the room. He was so similar to Chase it was uncanny and funny. His long dark hair, somewhat chocolate in the light, resembled the warlord's slicked back Xiaolin look from way back when. Silky smooth, long and straight to his waist. His golden brown eyes almost matched Chase's ember eyes, except Chase's eyes had a slit and not normal pupils.
"Hey, Denahi? I have a weird request." Denahi perked up and waited for Jack to ask.
"Would you mind if you laid down with me and just held me? Just until I fall asleep..." Denahi's eyes widened and he instantly blushed brightly.
"B-but Master Jack, Master would be furious! Why would you ask such a-" Jack interrupted the warrior with a smile.
"Chase knows that my loyalty is to him and to him alone. As is yours, which is why I asked until I fall asleep. I always tell Chase everything anyway. You know how paranoid he gets, but he should understand." Denahi looked extremely uncomfortable and uncertain. He didn't like this one bit.
"Please? I'm tired but I don't want to be alone right now." Denahi sighed heavily, he hated saying no to the albino because his orders from Chase were to treat Jack like he would treat Chase. As though Jack was his other Master.
"As soon as you fall asleep I'm leaving." Jack grinned and agreed, making Denahi smile and the genuine emotion on Jack's face. Both of them left for the master bedroom and Jack took the blankets and put them on top of the bed duvet and snuggled into bed on his side. Denahi laid on top of the covers and waited for Jack to get comfortable. Denahi hoped that if Master did walk in then he would see that he wasn't trying to get close his master's mate.
After Jack settled, Denahi wrapped an arm around the boy's waist and lightly spooned him, laying his head down on Chase's pillow. The warrior was sure now that if Chase caught them, his master was going to kill him. He hoped Jack would fall asleep soon so he could slip out and pretend this little act never happened. Denahi was beyond embarrassed at Jack's simple request. Denahi closed his eyes for a moment to see if he could make time go faster so he could leave faster. He hoped he could get away...
Denahi awoke with a start, completely restless where he laid. He realised that he had fallen asleep alongside his Master's mate. He looked over Jack to look at the bright numbers of Jack's clock and almost freaked. Denahi had slept for three hours. Chase had been home for at least two of them. Denahi looked up and tensed immediately when he saw Chase sat at the chair by the vanity table that was placed next to the dresser. His face was emotionless and calm. Denahi slowly pulled his arm away from Jack and sat up.
"G-good evening Master..." He whispered, not wanting to wake up Jack.
"Evening, how was he?" Denahi shivered at the tone, and just opted to tell the truth. There was no use lying to Chase.
"A little better, he was walking around and had even sat in your throne for a while reading. I made sure he had his medicine at the times you had specified. He took it without question." Denahi cleared his throat.
"He said he was tired and wanted to go to sleep. H-he missed you and he asked me to-". He was stopped by a raised hand from Chase. Chase smirked at his feline companion.
"Is this why you are acting like a stuttering fool?" Chase chuckled quietly as to not wake the sleeping boy.
"I did not want you to think-" Chase stood up and sat on his side of the bed and looked at his almost clone.
"Denahi, I am first and full most, not angry. Let me say that first. I am extremely aware of our physical similarities. I'm not surprise Jack asked for some comfort from you, since I could not give it. I assume he expressed to you that you could leave after he had fell into slumber?" Denahi nodded slowly, not sure where this conversation was going. How was Master so calm about this? The grin on his masters face turned darker however which made Denahi nervous.
"I am also aware that you look at him as I do..."
"Master, I-I would not dare betray-" Chase chuckled at his right hand warrior with mirth.
"I know and it wouldn't be for my sake either. You want him too, but you know he is with me and he is happy to be with me also. So you humour him more than anyone else." Denahi lowered his head apologetically to his Master, submitting fully.
"Forgive me, Master." Chase placed a gloved hand on Denahi's shoulder, which made the other man raise his head slowly upwards. Denahi caught his master's sight behind him and turned to see that Jack had woken up, staring right at him. Denahi froze from the severity of the situation and at the ruby red gaze upon his person. Jack frowned sadly.
"Why didn't you say anything?" Jack whispered hoarsely from the disuse of his voice due to sleep.
"Would it of mattered?" Denahi questioned the sickly teen in the bed. Jack frowned at the cat's negative response.
"If I had known about your feelings, Denahi, I wouldn't have asked you to keep me company." Jack let out a hacking cough but continued to talk once Chase used the hand that was on Denahi's shoulder to reach over and comfort his lover.
"It would have been cruel of me to do that. I don't want you to think I would take advantage of your feeling. What I'm saying is it's not fair on you, Denahi. You were uncomfortable because of Chase, yeah fair enough, but I didn't realise the extent of it. I'm sorry, Denahi." Jack smiled at the cat who blushed brightly in return.
"Y-you have no reason to apologise." He stuttered quietly causing the warlord beside him to chuckle.
"Actually, while you are here, Denahi, are you able to continue looking after him for a few more hours? I need to go over a few scrolls and documents that Jack's father was kind enough to give to me." Denahi stiffen between them.
"You both trust me?" Jack giggled quietly before coughing again. Denahi, without thinking, reached over Jack and grabbed the medicine bottle he left on the bedside table next to Jack. Chase grinned and spoke softly, as to not startle his warrior any further.
"And this is why I trust you fully. You want what I want and that is what is best for Jack. You want him happy, even if it means him being with me." Denahi smiled at his two masters and poured a spoonful for Jack, the sick one of the three sat up groggily and without being told. Jack took the medicine with a scrunched up and disgusted face.
"This stuff really tastes like shit..." Chase and Denahi laughed at Jack's exclamation, which eased the tension in the room.
"Everyone seems to be after me recently. First Chase, then Le Mime, now you! I'm not that sexy am I?" Jack laughed amused at the situation. Denahi and his Master shared a look in agreement with each other.
"Let's say, if I am not present, Denahi will destroy anyone who isn't one of us who gets to touch you." Jack and Denahi laughed at the answer and nodded.
"I will definitely make that my new job role!" Jack coughed when he tried to laugh and when he was finished he yawned. Poor Jack was still fatigued and needed more sleep.
"It think it's time Jack got some more rest. Denahi make sure to feed him some soup in about an hour/hour and a half so that way he has had something to eat. Jack go back to sleep and I will join you in a few more hours. Until then you have the 2nd edition." Denahi snorted at the insult but wasn't at all offended. Jack giggled tiredly and laid back down, it didn't take long before he was comfortable.
Denahi changed into his feline form to make himself more comfortable in the new task he was given. Jack didn't complain and snuggled up into the black fur and was soon snuggled ready for nodding off.
"Although... if you do take him from me, not only will I kill you but you better love and look after him." Denahi purred at the threat but knew it was all banter from his master, although the threat was certainly implied. Denahi one hundred percent respected it.
"He can't love and look after me if he's dead, Chase." Jack muttered groggily from the bed, making the panther and his master chuckle.
"I suppose..." Chase chuckled and got up to leave.
"I'll be back later, Jack." The boy hummed as an answer and was already in dreamland. Chase exited the bedroom and made his way down the hall to his library. He mulled over what happened. Jack was getting older, more mature... more defined as man.
He wondered if there was a repellent to avoid any more challenging suitors.
Chase chuckled.
Nah...
94. Undecided
Chase paced back and forth in the Spicer's lounge for a while, waiting for Jack's parents to arrive home. Jack had gone away with his Grandmother to Greece for a fortnight. Jack deserved the time away after he had been excelling in his training and was stressed as of late. Chase didn't stop him from taking the break, even evil needs to relax every once in a while. Chase hated waiting but Jack's parents had gone out for grocery shopping.
Chase decided to stop pacing and sat on their chocolate suede sofa and turned on their television, he flicked through the channels of daytime TV and decided on a flog it programme until they came back.
20 minutes in he finally heard the family car pull in to the long and lush drive way. He was glad they turned up when they did as Chase was starting to get bored and was tempted to actually destroy the flat screen. He honestly thought his mind was going to melt. Chase immediately switched off the contraption and stood waiting for the Spicer's to enter. Chase stood respectfully by the door frame so he would be seen and he was spotted by Jack's mother as she walked in with bags of groceries.
"Chase, honey! How are you? I will be with you in a moment darling! Just need to get these in and put away. One minute!" Chase smiled at the sweetness of her voice, which was ironic as she was as evil as Jack was. Chase nodded and sat himself back on the sofa and waited for them again, this time with more respect and patience, he made himself comfortable as Jack's father entered the room.
"She just kicked me out of the kitchen!" He laughed sheepishly with a hand behind his head. It reminded him immediately of Jack's grin, you could tell he was definitely Jack's father.
"I'm glad to see you, but I assume that this visit is due to some issues regarding our son?" Chase nodded and didn't wait with his response. Jack's father took one of the arm chairs and settled in cross legged, one over the knee. Chase was again reminded of Jack, he also did that.
"Yes but I would rather have both of you here, so I may discuss it with you both." Chase said politely which was answered with immediate shuffling of feet from the kitchen. Within seconds the groceries were abandoned and Jack's mother made an appearance.
"I'm here! Fire away, honey!" Chase sighed and looked at them nervously.
"As you know of whom and what I am, I really don't need to discuss this with you. But because you both and Jack are very close, I feel like I must have this conversation with you. I wanted to have your advice as you know Jack more closely than I do." Jack's mother took her seat on the arm of the chair her husband was sat in, his hand resting on her thigh.
"Okay and what advice do you want from us, dear?" Chase took in a deep breath.
"Serena, George. How would how would Jack take it if I were to ask him to marry me?" Chase asked with a deadly serious face.
Serena gasped and squeaked happily whilst George smiled with what looked to be approval. Chase smiled, glad to have their blessing without asking.
"Judging by your reaction, I say I'd have your permission either way." Serena laughed at his silly statement.
"Of course darling, but to be honest with you, to Jack it wouldn't matter. Jack loves you and will stand by you regardless. He's clingy that way!" she giggled a little. "Jack will be happier with the thought though, as that is what will count most." Chase looked unsure and unsettled, which was unusual for him. Chase didn't do nervous he was always confident and sure of his actions; even if he was over confident at times. He sat silently for a while.
"You don't think Jack will say yes, dear? I have to say that you really don't know him well enough if you believe you will be rejected. He loves you too much, darling! He's loved you since he was 6! It's Jack!" she tried to reason with Chase to make him see reason. George on the other hand looked thoughtful and looked like he had remembered something.
"Hold on Serena, remember when Jack said 'It's just a piece of paper, I don't need a piece of paper to know that someone is mine.'? I think Chase is referring to that." Serena completely ignored her husband and scolded Chase. She turned to her son's boyfriend and stated-
"Completely irrelevant! If it's Chase asking then Jack will not hesitate to say yes. I know my son." George smiled and decided to agree with his wife.
"Jack may view it as he doesn't need a ring to prove he belongs to you, but he will stay with you regardless, Chase. Just ask him when he comes home." Chase made a face of unease but nodded anyway.
"Thank you both." Chase stood hugging Serena and shook George's hand.
"I will ask anyway and see what happens." Chase grinned more confidently and teleported back home. He had a few days to prepare before Jack and Gwendolyn returned home to the citadel. Gwendolyn lived with them now; it was her dying wish to spend time with her only grandson before she decided she couldn't any more. 92 and still full of life, even if she was confined to a wheelchair, but her cancer was killing her slowly. Jack almost passed out from crying so much when he learned the truth. It took Chase three days before Jack managed to calm down. Gwendolyn didn't even flinch when she heard the news; it was almost like she was waiting for it to happen. The only thing she was worried about was not spending enough time with Jack, so hence the holiday. Jack was complete willing to fulfil her wishes.
Chase smiled to himself as he gathered his cats together. Jack and Gwendolyn were in for a treat when they arrive.
Gorgeous – I have this massive headcannon that Jack just wears eyeliner, mascara, eyebrow pencil and hair dye. I know in the episode where hes good his natural colours are of that of a fair redhead. But I couldn't help myself! XD
Longing – ChaseXJackxDenahi... what? I did that? Noooo you're seeing things... lmao
Undecided – It just sounded cute for Chase to be nervous over something that we all know Jack would say yes to without question! XD
