No the last chapter was not the end. I know I said short, but come on...I'm gonna get 3 or 4 more chapters out of this before I end it. and whoever that guest commenter is, your the best. I appreciate you wholly.

The sound of waves crashing against the shore, the night sky bathed in starlight, perfectly blended with a bright moon, baring a red mark that extended into an arc across the sky.
Dipper woke up to this surreal sight, his mind and body placed in an odd and fuzzy state. The boundaries of dream and reality had came -true- into one, and it was hard tell if anything was real or not.
Rising up he saw a familiar body lying next to him, It was Pacifica. she seemed to be unconscious and in the distance a leering ghost, a figure which disappeared at the corner of his eye.
Pacifica also woke up to the same inclination, feeling that nothing had been real. She saw dipper standing at the edge of the shore and in trying to call out to him, her mouth resisted, she couldn't speak. Her right arm experienced a sharp sensation of pain and the vision in her left eye was blurry.
What's going on? she wondered Why can't I talk?
Looking to the distance she saw half a giant face. This face seemed to be sinking into the red waters, shining bright by the illumination of the moon.
Dipper himself had been staring at it for a while.
"It looks like that girl." Dipper said "That girl..."
Which girl Pacifica wondered What happened? Where are we?
Dipper turned back to face her and there was this ghastly look in his eyes, it was as if he wasn't alive, inhuman.
"Pacifica...I'm sorry." Where the last words she heard before everything faded to black.
"We'll be going home now."
Those were the last words they'd heard from the estranged - supposed - Rei Ayanami before she left, carrying the other two strangers with her.
"What in the world just happened?" Mabel asked.
"I…have no idea." Dipper said
"Well…" Mabel asked
"Well, what?" Dipper asked her back
"Are we just gonna let them go?"
Dipper couldn't answer her.
"Dipper!?" she exclaimed, snapping him back to reality.
"Just give me a second okay." He said, "It's just...something's not right."
"What do you mean, something's not right." Mabel asked sarcastically, "Of course something's not right, something is always not right."
"Mabel, wait." Pacifica said.
"No." She responded "If we waste any more time thinking, she'll get away, and it'll be too late."
"And If we hurry in without thinking she'll blow us away." Dipper responded. "I don't what it is, but...I just have this feeling."
"Absolute terror." Pacifica said with a dreaded expression.
"Are you guys okay?" Candy asked.
"Yeah, you look terrified." Grenda said.
"Well I'm not gonna sit here and do nothing." Mabel said, getting out of the door. "I'm going to go help them, however I can."
"Mabel, we should really think about this carefully." Candy said.
"Are you guys coming or are you gonna abandon me too?" Mabel said. "Mabel..." Grenda said
"No." Mabel said, "I'm going." and she got out the door. And Candy sighed
"We can't leave her on her own." Grenda said.
"Just whatever you do..." Dipper said "Do not touch her."
"Got it." Grenda said, heading out the door, and Candy followed after.
"You felt it too?" Pacifica said.
"Yeah." He responded, "In that brief moment..."
"I know." Pacifica replied, "What the hell was that?"
"I think maybe, it could be where they came from." Dipper said trying to focus. "Why couldn't they come with a journal or something."
"You don't have a journal but you have that mark on scuttlebut." Pacifica said, "It looked like it was growing."
"A portal." Dipper said, wondering " A portal...That's it."
"What is?" Pacifica asked, with which Dipper replied "A portal."
"Granted I don't know how they got here." He continued, "But I only know of one way to cross dimensions."
Dipper guided Pacifica past the vending machine, were he had entered the password, all the downstairs.
"If I'm right..." He said. And upon entering fords underground laboratory, he found that the universal portal still stood there, waiting to be activated.
"I knew it." He said.
"Knew what? what is this thing?" Pacifica asked.
"Its universal portal." He replied, "Grand Uncle Ford dismantled it, because an interdimensional gateway is too dangerous for the world it feeds into. That and it's instability of the interdimensional rift, which is extremely dangerous."
"So if he dismantled it..."
"Then why is it here?" Dipper said, finishing her sentence. "I'm beginning to think whatever that girl did, caused massive ramifications for the order of her world and ours. It must've been a power of similar or greater magnitude to the portal."
"How so?" she asked
"Well using this thing could result in universal catastrophe, meaning the destruction of everything in our world" He said.
"So what then?" Pacifica said "You're going to destroy it?"
"What, no?" He responded, "This is how we're going to get them back to their world."
"Using a machine... that could kill us all?" she asked.
"Yes." Dipper said, answering simply.
"Are you- okay no stop." Pacifica said, "I don't get all this science-y mumbo jumbo, but one thing I know for sure, is to not mess with something I do not understand. and You whilst you do possess a certain amount of knowledge on the subject, do not understand fully what you're doing."
"But I can." He said, "If I just go through all the journals a few more times, remember everything that uncle ford said..."
"No." Pacifica said, "Just...let's think about this for moment."
"There's no time." He said. "If I can just-"
"I don't know if you notice this." she said, interrupting him "But you're acting kinda crazy. And on top of that I've got this terrifying feeling that if you do what you're trying to do, then we're gonna end up exactly where I don't want us to be."
"Wh-what are you-"
"There has to be another way." Pacifica said. "There just has to be."
"I myself can't think of any other way." He said, "It's this and only this."
Pacifica sighed to that comment. what am I going to do?
Meanwhile...
Mabel had chased after Rei with Grenda and Candy. It was at some point in the forest that they lost her.
"Dang it." Mabel said, panting out of exhaustion.
"I think...we lost her." Grenda said; "Mabel, we should go back." Candy said "We've already gone to far."
"We can't just give up guys." She said. " We-"
"Why is it that you chase after me." Rei said, appearing seemingly out nowhere. Starling Mabel and her friends.
"I asked you a question." Rei repeated.
"Because." Mabel said approaching her, "You can't just take people and-"
"Mabel wait." Grenda said, pulling her back. "Don't get close to her."
"Why she got some weird power or something?" she asked.
"Dipper said not to touch her." she replied.
"Still." she said, "Kidnapping is wrong."
"You are wrong." Rei said in response. "What? I'm- how?" she asked
"I only wish to return them - us - back to our home." Rei said. "You are at fault for assuming the worst of me."
"Okay, then where are they?" Mabel asked. With which Rei replied: "Somewhere safe."
"I suggest you return home to." she continued, "for your own sake."
"I'm not going back until you return them to us." Mabel said.
"Fine then." Rei said, and again with the snap of her fingers - in the blink of an eye - Mabel and her friends found themselves in an unfamiliar place, with a peculiar feel in the air.
"Woah?" Grenda said, looking around "Where are we?"
"What the world?" Candy said taking her glasses off.
"Where? how? when?" Mabel said in a panic. "She literally disappeared right before our eyes."
Just then a purpled haired woman came from the corner of the corridor. She took notice of the three girls and gave them a peculiar stare.
"Hi." Mabel said,
"Dou-shimashitaka?" She said, and they all just stared back at her, awkwardly.
"Any of you speak japanese?" Mabel said, laughing awkwardly. Then the lady then looked towards Candy.
"Anata wa dare desu ka?" she asked her, and Candy just shrugged in response.
"You speak japanese?" Grenda asked her.
"No." Candy said baffled.
"Misato." She kept saying pointing towards herself, "MI-SA-TO. Watashi no namea wa Misato desu." and then she pointed towards Candy. "Anata no namea wa nan desu ka?"
"Candy." she replied, unsure.
"Candy?" she said, and she too was unsure.
"I got this." Mabel said, pulling out her phone. "Watashitachi ga doko ni iru no ka wakaranai no o tetsudatte kudasai." she said. And Misato stood there flabbergasted.
"Ara maa." she said
"Did she get me?" Mabel said
"I think she didn't even understand a single word you said." Grenda replied.
"Okay!" Misato said, trying to speak english "Fo-fo...follow me."
