CHAPTER 31
I could hear screaming before I was rolled over and pulled into Alec's arms.
"Cecilia! I need to bite you."
"N-no! NO!"
I mustered up all the strength I could and pushed at Alec, I was choking on blood as I tried to talk.
"P-please, s-save our ba-baby!"
Alec shook his head.
"No. You won't survive. I can't risk it. I can't lose you. Please, I don't want to force you but I will."
There was movement all around us, the Volturi guards were clearing the building, probably making sure there were no traps. Suddenly a blonde vampire joined us, Carlisle. I was happy to see him, he could save my baby.
"Please, save my baby."
Alec was shaking his head frantically as he rocked back and forth with me in his arms. I could only lay there and plea for Alec or Carlisle to save my baby before I felt Alec bite down on my neck. I gave a strangled moan of pain before I closed my eyes, succumbing to the pain.
Dusk particles were floating around in the air, there was no natural light, only the glow coming from a 500W bulb above me. Sitting up I looked around the stone room, it was bare of any furniture save for the stone slap I sat on, hearing the sound of fabric shifting I stood up, turning so my back so no longer toward the potential threat.
A man, his red eyes watched me as I took him in and sorted through the blurry memories that came rushing back at the sight of him. I breathed out his name as I rushed him.
"Alec."
