As we saw in the last chapter, Ashley and Petey found out that portals had been saving them the whole time, which was why they weren't dying. So where are they now? Let's find out!
"So where are we now?" Petey asked. "The recap literally just said 'let's find out'!" Ashley said, breaking the fourth wall.

"ANYWAY, we gotta figure out where we are." Petey replied, looking at the post-apocalyptic city around them. "I'll say we're in some place that survived a war or somethin...like...Hiroshima!" Ashley said. "Where now?" Petey asked. "City in Japan. We're most likely when it was attacked." Ashley said.
"Attacked?! You mean there's more bombs on the way?!" Petey exclaimed. "Nope. Nuclear bombs!" Ashley exclaimed, pointing at a growing cloud of smoke heading towards them.
"You're serious?!" Petey screamed, running right behind his sister. "Well, what were you expecting?! Something better than a sinking ship!?" Ashley asked. "No! I was expecting us to be safely at home with my kids!" Petey replied.
"Relax. All we have to do is get through this, the Challenger, Chernobyl, and the 9/11 thing, and we'll be home safe. Unless we die in one of those last 3 things." Ashley said, hoping they'd survive till the end.

The bombs stopped for a moment, then stopped completely, which the siblings were grateful for at least. Now all they had to do was find the portal.
