Welcome to another chapter! I am going to be using movies that actually do exist, that I have watched, that do not belong to me, so credit goes out to all those owners/directors! Reminder most of these characters do not belong to me! They belong to Tom Mcgrath and Eric Darnell! So far, Polly and Valerie Mae belong to me! Enjoy!

Chapter 5 Casual Meetings

Polly and I made up nights when we can visit each other and just play games or talk. This was pretty easy. This night she showed me movies. We had a movie marathon for a a whole week. She showed me movies such as, The Fault in Our Stars, Crazy Rich Asians, A Star Is Born, Enchanted, Ghost, and much more! I cried so much. At least Skipper, Kowalski and Rico were not here to cover my eyes. I felt mature enough to watch those where the two have their first kiss scene now. I was thinking of Crazy Rich Asians when Skipper called my name.

"Private you doing okay?" I spun around.

"Of course I am! It's that mother and her ways! Why can't she let things be?!" I cried referencing the mother from Crazy Rich Asians.

"What mother?" Kowalski asked. The three were confused. Uh oh. I spilled a bit.

"My...mother?" I said nervously. They all just looked at me strangely.

"Private, I think you need to rest?" Skipper suggested.

"Of course not, I'm going for a swim, LEAVE ME ALONE!" I said crying a little about that movie, jumping into the pool. Well that was harsh. I thought.

That night I apologized for what I did and they accepted. My brothers and I didn't hold grudges. We went to sleep. Well they did. I snuck out. Polly and I began to talk about our days gone by.

"We're like, out on a mission every night!" Polly joked. I laughed.

"Yeah. I actually feel free for once."

"How does it feel living in a zoo?"

"Normal to me. We're not always in the zoo. We meet up with other animals and such."

"Oh. Being in an apartment feels kind of nice. It's pretty comfy in here. I wish I can tell Valerie Mae about you but I don't know how she would react if she found out I let a penguin from the zoo in here. She's a really nice women who has been through a lot. I must be with her at most times when she's working or when we need to go to the store." Polly said.

"My brothers neither. They always assume the worst at something new. Like that time the chameleons came. Skipper wanted to prepare first. Trust has always been something that wasn't easy for him. Or Kowalski and Rico. What about your sisters?"

"You know I'm actually not going to discuss them with you for now. I will when the time is right but right now that information stays with me." Polly said nervously.

"Oh okay." That felt kind of strange. She was open about Valerie Mae and not her sisters? I guess I have to be patient to find out. We proceeded to play more games. We talked while we played. Mostly about the lunacorns and our favourite episodes. We laughed a lot. Then suddenly I asked her something I didn't expect to ask but just came out.

"Do you ever wanna go out sometime? Like not just here?'

"Where would we go?" She asked.

"Anywhere. We can get snow cones, or we can go for a walk in central park? I would bring you to the zoo but I don't really want you visible to anyone there. Skipper, Kowalski and Rico cannot know about this."

"That sounds great! I actually know a few good places to go to." Polly said happily.

"Oh great. Where are they?"

"That's a surprise." She winked at me.

Time skip to friendship montage

About a week later we had gone to many places together building our friendship as we went by. We ate ice cream, tried new foods, and even went on a few boat rides. We ran around laughing and even joking around with each other playfully. We even went for swims in places that we found out about. This new friendship was literally the best thing that ever happened to me. Absolutely nothing was going to take it away.

End of chapter 5! So this was a little short but I got more chapters to come! Also looks like Private and Polly have a huge friendship bond! If I were to choose a song for their montage I'd definitely recommend Honeybee by Head and The Heart. I would also like to announce that I do have big plans to extend the stories I make, and give some backstories about the characters I create. There will be new fanfics when I am finished with this!
