Thank you for reading! I don't own any of Black Butler! Please let me know if you enjoy! Updates on the second and fourth Saturday of each month!

Due to Tanaka's absence, it was a group effort on the Phantomhive staff's behalf to complete dinner service each evening.

The night of Sebastian's arrival was no exception.

By the time that Ciel walked into the kitchen with her new butler, Baldroy, Mey-Rin, and Finny were frantically scurrying around, worried about how to finish the preparation of the meal, serve the food, and decide who was going to clean up the mess.

Ciel scowled at the disheveled, uncoordinated scene that she observed, but Sebastian smirked in amusement.

For a moment, he wondered just how much of a hassle he was willing to endure for his delicious little bluenette~?

"Baldroy!" Ciel snapped, "Finny! Mey-Rin!"

At the icy call of their mistress, all three servants froze, looked over, and noticed Ciel standing there in the kitchen doorway with a tall stranger at her side.

Gasps rang out as the Phantomhive servants all snapped to attention and dropped what they were doing to quickly form a line before each called out.

"Lady Ciel!"

"Sorry, ma'am!"

"Mistress Phantomhive!"

Ciel crossed her arms.

She scowled disapprovingly at her staff for a long moment before she huffed and announced, "As you all know, Tanaka will remain with us, but he is no longer able to perform his duties. The advertisement that I placed in the newspaper proved to be successful. I've come to introduce you all to our new butler, Sebastian Michaelis."

Ciel gestured to Sebastian and as she did, Baldroy and Finny blinked at him curiously, but behind her large glasses, Mey-Rin's eyes widened.

"Sebastian," Ciel continued as she addressed her butler while she gestured towards the blonde man, "This is Baldroy, our cook."

Baldroy politely raised his hand in a friendly wave at Sebastian and Sebastian nodded at him in silent acknowledgement.

"This is Finny, our gardener." Ciel went on as she continued speaking to Sebastian but gestured towards the young man with rust-colored hair.

Finny shyly smiled at Sebastian and Sebastian nodded at him.

"And this," Ciel went on as she gestured to the red-headed woman, "...is our maid, Mey-Rin."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Sebastian!" Mey-Rin exclaimed with an alarming amount of exuberance in her voice.

"The pleasure is all mine, my lady." Sebastian said chivalrously while he nodded at the maid.

From the overzealous look in her eyes, Sebastian wondered if Ciel's female servant may very well try to eat him, but the bluenette frowned and ignored her maid's blatant eagerness while she asked the staff, "Where's Snake?"

"Outside." Baldroy replied with a shrug, "I don't usually let him in the kitchen much, salmonella risk and all."

"...Of course." Ciel sighed before she looked over at Sebastian and explained, "A young man who calls himself 'Snake' is our footman. He's an odd fellow, but he's loyal and kind. I'm certain that you'll gain a similar impression of him when you two meet him later."

"I should expect no less, my lady." Sebastian replied with a cordial nod, "I do hope that you can go and spend a quiet moment with your daughter before dinner is served. The staff and I have much to do, but I assure you, the evening's meal will be on time."

Ciel blinked at Sebastian incredulously, "Oh, no…..I-I don't expect you to take over dinner service tonight. I haven't even given you a tour of the estate yet!"

"There is no need for me to see each room of this grand mansion in order to serve my ladies, my lady~." Sebastian smirked, "Surely the others can show me to the dining room?"

Baldroy, Finny, and Mey-Rin all violently nodded at Sebastian as he glanced at them before he turned to Ciel and gave her a reassuring smile of calm confidence.

"B-But…" Ciel stammered, "Sebastian…"

"Go on, my lady." Sebastian nodded, "What kind of butler would I be if I can't coordinate a simple meal?"

Ciel left the kitchen and found Elizabeth, who had been dressed earlier in clean clothes by Mey-Rin and left to play in her room.

Lady Phantomhive sat with her daughter until the normal dinner hour at Phantomhive manor.

Ciel had her doubts about her new butler.

She purposely left her expectations low, sure that Sebastian would not be able to pull off any form of an elegant evening.

How could he?

He had just met the other staff members.

He didn't even know where things were found in the house!

At six thirty on the dot, Ciel walked with Elizabeth as they left the child's bedroom, descended the engraved staircase, and entered the dining room.

As soon as Ciel and Elizabeth crossed the threshold, their mouths fell open and their eyes widened in amazement.

"Good evening, my ladies." Sebastian greeted mother and daughter both with a warm smile as he stood by the long, dining table, waiting to receive the evening's guests.

Elizabeth let out a happy gasp but Ciel's blue eyes quickly left Sebastian and flickered over to the spread of delectable-looking food that had been expertly served in the finest dishes that the Phantomhive family owned.

Two place settings sat ready on the table, with the silver polished and the china plates gleaming in the candlelight.

"My goodness….." Ciel breathed as she clutched her little girl's hand and stepped forward.

"Is dinner service not to your liking, my lady?" Sebastian asked as he pulled out Ciel's chair first, then little Elizabeth's.

Ciel and Elizabeth walked over and took their seats as Ciel slowly shook her head, "No, it's not that…..This is lovely. I just…I'm not entirely sure how you managed all this, Sebastian?"

"Allow me to worry about the details, my lady." Sebastian replied with a smug smirk as he thoughtfully cut the roast on the table and served some to Ciel and Elizabeth, not wanting the women to strain their delicate arms by cutting the meat.

"Thank you, Sebastian!" Elizabeth chirped happily as he placed a slice on her plate.

"Yes, thank you…...Sebastian." Ciel echoed as Sebastian served her a piece of roast as well.

Sebastian nodded at them both before he respectfully stepped back.

A smirk curled his lips as he watched Ciel and her little one gladly enjoy the food that he had helped Baldroy prepare.

It made Sebastian's heart swell with pride to see the smile on little Elizabeth's face and the healthy appetite that her mother displayed.

Sebastian was delighted to please his darling omega in whatever way that he could.

Mr. Michaelis felt confident that during his time spent serving Lady Phantomhive and her house, there would be numerous opportunities to satisfy his beautiful bluenette~.

During his first evening as Phantomhive butler, Sebastian already began to reap the benefits of his new job.

Once dinner was over and the kitchen had been cleaned, Ciel and Elizabeth spent a bit of time in the trophy room playing a game together before bed.

Elizabeth kissed her mother on the cheek and took her leave of the room when Mey-Rin appeared in the doorway to collect her and tuck her in for the night.

Sebastian and Ciel were left alone then, and Sebastian's heart raced with anxious wonder about what was going to happen until Ciel yawned and looked over at him with an unreadable stare.

"My lady?" Sebastian asked at length, after her sapphire eyes had spent the last few minutes boring into him in needling anticipation, "Forgive me, I'm still learning my duties. Have I caused you any offense?"

"Of course not, Sebastian, but you are causing me a great and burdensome inconvenience." Ciel haughtily replied.

"Do pardon me, then, my lady." Sebastian bowed as he placed a hand over his heart, "Please, tell me what I can do to correct my error and I will see to it straight away."

"I'm exhausted." Ciel declared before she placed a hand over her mouth and yawned, "Take me to bed."

Take me to bed~.

Sebastian understood what Ciel meant.

He knew that the obvious, lascivious connotations to that phrase most likely did not apply in that instance, but regardless, that sentence falling from the bluenette's pouting lips still sent an unwelcome throb of arousal all the way from his heart to his manhood as he smirked.

"Of course, my lady." Sebastian nodded as he walked over to the bluenette, "Shall I escort you to your room for the evening?"

Sebastian blinked as Ciel lifted her arms up towards him and his amber eyes softened in understanding.

Silently, Mr. Michaelis granted Lady Phantomhive's unspoken wish.

He bent down, scooped his lady from her chair, and into his grasp.

Lady Phantomhive's satisfied sigh amused Mr. Michaelis greatly, as she loosely draped her arms around his neck and settled against him, perfectly comfortable for the journey to her bedroom.

It amused Mr. Michaelis greatly, the foolishly innocent trust that Lady Phantomhive boldly bestowed upon him.

However, what intrigued Mr. Michaelis the most was that unignorably tantalizing, positively intoxicating scent that wafted from his darling Lady Phantomhive's soft, porcelain skin…..
