Happy St Patrick's Day
"I swear, if you pinch me one more time, I'm going to dump you in the fountain!" Sam growled as Callen pinched the back of his neck for the umpteenth time.
"You're not wearing green! It's tradition on St Patrick's day!" Callen protested with a grin, plucking at the collar of his own green long sleeve.
"G, you're from Romania. What do you know about St Patrick's day?" Sam asked, swatting at Callen's hand that was too close to his face.
"Hey, I've lived here most of my life!" Callen protested, reaching out with a lightning fast hand and pinching Sam's ear.
"Hey!" Sam yelped. His shot out of his chair and came at Callen, who yelped and backpedaled out of there. Sam was faster, grabbing Callen around the waist and tossing him effortlessly over his shoulder. He headed for the hallway, passing a confused Kensi who had just entered the bullpen.
"Keeenssii!" Callen hollered as Sam passed by. Callen flailed in Sam's grip, thrashing uselessly.
"Sam, what are you doing?" Kensi asked, hiding her grin behind her coffee cup. Sam just growled. Kensi followed him. Sam stopped in front of the fountain, leaning over and effectively dumping him into the fountain with a splash.
"That's cold!" Callen cried as he surfaced, wiping water from his eyes with an equally wet hand. Sam grinned at him, happy with his deeds.
"What's this all about?" Kensi asked as Sam took a step back with a grin.
"I didn't know we were going swimming today," Deeks quipped as he entered the building. "I would have worn my trunks!"
Callen frowned at him, though there was no anger.
"You're not wearing green," Deeks pointed out to Sam, reaching out and pinching his arm.
"Bad move," Callen said lowly. Sam grabbed Deeks, hoisted him over the shoulder and dumped him into the fountain beside Callen.
"Holy crap, that's cold!" Deeks squealed as he shook his head, water flying everywhere from his long blond locks. Kensi frowned and took a step back, shielding the top of her cup from the spray.
"Ugh, Deeks, you're like a wet dog," she muttered as Callen and Deeks clambered out of the fountain, water pouring from their drenched clothing, pooling around their feet. Deeks grinned as he stripped off his outer hoodie, tossing it in Kensi's direction. She yelped and jumped back as the hoodie landed with a wet splat! in front of her boots.
"What is going on here?!" A sharp, scolding voice made all of them jump. "This is not a pool party!" The four of them spun to see Hetty, arms crossed over her chest, frowning at the lot of them.
"Sam threw us in the fountain," Deeks piped up, brushing wet bangs out of his eyes.
"I can agree with that," Callen said with a nod.
"I don't care who did what! You all should be working, not messing around!"
The four of them glanced down, ears bright red. Getting scolded by Hetty wasn't fun.
"Mr Deeks and Mr Callen, go get changed. Mr Hanna and Miss Blye, bullpen!" Hetty ordered, accentuating her words with her hands pointing in the directions of the locker room and bullpen.
"Yes, ma'am," the four chorused remorsefully, hanging their heads as they filed back out into the center of the building, Deeks and Callen leaving a dripping trail behind them. As Sam passed by, Hetty reached out and pinched his arm.
"What was that for?" he snapped, glaring down at her.
"Happy St Patrick's Day, Mr Hanna," Hetty replied with a grin.
"Can't throw her in the fountain!" Callen quipped over his shoulder. Sam growled and ran at Callen, who took off towards the tunnel with a howl. Sam chased him out the door.
Hetty, Kensi, and Deeks rolled their eyes.
...
Yes, I know it's not St Patrick's Day, but the plot bunny wouldn't stop pestering.
I really don't have an excuse as to why I've been gone so long, I've been pretty not motivated lately, courtesy of anxiety. Love it. Anyhow, I knew you guys deserved an update, so I hope you enjoy! I will do prompts! I'm alos in progress of writing a new story, but the whole thing is going to be written before it is published, so if I never finishes it, I won't disappoint anyone. I do intend to finish it, however, so watch for it soon.
And, as a totally irrelevant but awesome side note, because I have to tell somebody, I just got a new watch, the same watch as Kensi in season 11 and 12, and I'm really excited. Lol. Nobody probably cares, but I have to let somebody know! Haha.
