Dragon Warriors

in The Prince's Dragon

At the park, the Warriors are playing a game they invented, dragon ball.

Alicia passed the ball to Connor, and he avoided Vault. And when he's in the clear, he threw it in the hoop and the people cheered.

"20-14, Connor's team wins," said Luu Luu.

"That was impressive teamwork Warriors," said Celestine.

"Yeah, we needed training anyway," Connor exclaimed.

"And the people are starting to enjoy it." Vault said as the other dragons wanted to play too.

"Why yes of course they are, but we need the dragons to defend the city, and I need your help. It's my son," said Charles.

"Wait. You want me to-," Connor replied.

"Yes." William spoked. "Teach me how to train a dragon," he said.

Later at the catacombs, the Warriors are teaching William the basics of dragon training.

"The first way to ride a dragon is to show him he can trust you," Connor explained.

"All I have to do is earn his trust? OK," said William, then he took his hand out, and after a few moments, Shade allowed William's hand to touch his nose.

"See, was that so hard?" said Vault.

"Well, there are a variety of dragons in the city, so I don't know which dragon the prince is gonna choose," said Kin.

"Yeah, and neither one of them is perfect," said Grave as he spotted Smoke and Flame fighting each other until they knocked themselves out with their own firepower.

Suddenly, the computers went on, and Alicia checked them out.

"What is it this time, Alicia?" asked Connor.

"A dragon is attacking the bridge," Alicia said to Connor.

At the bridge, people are trying to escape, and out of the water comes out, a blue Thunderdrum and he roared which causes the windshields of the cars to shatter.

The Thunderdrum avoided a blast, and he spotted the Dragon Warriors and William. He charged to attack them, but Yusha fired first, but the Thunderdrum dodged it and escaped into the water.

The Warriors and William landed on the bridge and took out their weapons.

"OK guys whatever you do, don't get too close to the Thunderdrum," Connor ordered.

"Right or our heads will explode," said Maia.

Then the Thunderdrum came onto the bridge and he went straight toward William, he jumped away from the dragon, but it came back to get him again. Until William spotted a net, he threw it and it caught the Thunderdrum.

When William looked at the Thunderdrum, it's like he sensed something.

"Alright, let's see if that lesson has taught me anything," said William.

Then he slowly walked toward it and the Thunderdrum growled at him, but instead, he took out his hand, and the dragon allowed his hand to touch his nose. Prince William has trained a Thunderdrum.

Later back at the catacombs, Grave is making a saddle for William's new dragon.

"Now that you've trained the Thunderdrum, what are you going to name him?" said Connor.

"I'm gonna name him, Wavelength," said William.

"I knew you could do it, William, I'm really proud of you," Charles exclaimed.

"Thanks, Dad," he replied.

Later that night, the Warriors and William are out on patrol to see if the city needs protection.

"So, you do this every day?" William spoked.

"All the time," Alicia answered. "that way the dragons can get the exercise," she said.

"And beats staying at the catacombs all day," said Maia.

Suddenly, they heard screaming from the city. They flew down to find out.

As they landed, they spotted a man who is acting like a statue, as if he was paralyzed.

"What happened to him?" Prim questioned.

"Let's go check on him," said Connor, and the Warriors began to find clues until Vault spotted a small prick on the guy's hand.

"It looks like I found something," said Vault as he pointed the prick.

"And not only that, but I found a dumpster that was melted." Claudia pointed at a dumpster that has a hole and some steaming green residue. "Plus, I found a small puddle of acid as well," she said.

"Oh boy, I think you guys know what we're dealing with here," said Connor, and the Warriors nodded in agreement. "Yeah, looks like we're dealing with Speed Stingers and Changewings," he said.

"It's a good thing I've come prepared. I created armors to protect ourselves from the Speed Stingers' venom," said Grave.

Later at East Liverpool, the Warriors and William are now wearing protective armor.

"Remember guys, the Speed Stingers are very fast and can paralyze you with their tails as the book says," said Connor.

"Yeah, and also the Changewings can change color, spit acid, and hypnotize its victims." Kaguya spoked.

They waited to hear something until they dodged a tail and a few more tails. Then the Speed Stingers came out.

"As nocturnal creatures, they only come out at night," said William as he blocked a Speed Stinger's tail with his sword.

Suddenly, they were almost hit by acid, and the Changewings came. They changed color so the Warriors won't see them.

"They changed color!" yelled Vault.

Then the Warriors decided to get out of the way and continue to fight the Speed Stingers, except for Kaguya.

She closed her eyes and listened, and then she kicked a Changewing and jumped over another Changewing's attack, and avoided another one.

"Like a true Warriors," said Alicia.

Then the Warriors continue to fight.

"Any idea what's gotten into them," Luu Luu asked.

"I think their hearings are being tampered by a radio frequency caused by soundwaves," Alicia said to Luu Luu.

"Radiofrequency," William spoked, then he got on Wavelength and fly to find the source.

There, on top of a building are Gorg and Troox with their soldiers, and what they're doing is turning the dials of a frequency machine, which attracts the Speed Stingers and the Changewings.

"Looks like those scientists really did put a number on it," said Troox.

"That's right, and soon the city will surrender to Origa," said Gorg. But then, the ogres have been knocked down, and so did the goblins.

"I'm sorry, did I knocked out one of your men," William mocked.

"Get the prince!" Gorg ordered, and the ogres began to blast him.

But William and Wavelength dodged a few lasers and he uses his sword to destroy the blasters.

"You think you'll win boy," Trooz spoked to William. "Once we use that machine, your Thunderdrum will be the first to go," he said.

"Not when I'm through with you, Wavelength! Shatter!" yelled William, and Wavelength let out a powerful roar which causes the monsters to cover their ears.

Wavelength roared so loud, it destroyed the machine. Now that the two dragon species are free, they spotted the monsters and glared at them.

"Uh-oh," said the two generals, then the monsters escaped from the angry Changewings.

"Now that the Changewings are gone, what are we gonna do about the Speed Stingers," said Connor.

"Don't worry," the Warriors turned and spotted Kin. "I got this," said Kin, and he flipped through the pages.

Kin read an incantation which created a trail of ice, soon the Speed Stingers followed it and the trail froze the river until they're out of civilization.

"Whatever you did, that was pure genius William," said Vault.

"That's because I figured it out," said William. "The generals used a machine to create soundwaves that can attract dragons," he explained.

"Wow. If you hadn't stopped them, our dragons would be next," said Grave.

"Yes. But not Wavelength, because Thunderdrums are hard of hearing."
