Dragon Warriors

in Double Connor

It was a dark and stormy night, the Warriors were on patrol above the highway.

"Be careful out there guys," said Alicia.

"Don't worry, if some voice over the phone told me that the West Virginia bank is being robbed, I wouldn't have taken any chances either," said Claudia.

"Thanks," she said to Claudia.

Suddenly, a dragon rider swooped down and barely knocked Claudia and Vault.

"Guys! Are you all right!?" Alicia called out.

"We're OK," Vault replied. Until a dragon began to fire, and the blast hit the two.

Alicia tried to find the rider, then a Skrill flew above her.

After that, they decided to land to avoid the rider.

"Whoa. That was close," said Vault.

"Are you, OK Alicia? What happened?" Claudia questioned.

"I'm not sure," said Alicia, that is when lightning came, and they saw a dragon rider who is actually... Connor on a Skrill and they vanished. "Connor!" she said in shock, and an evil laugh was heard.

Later at the cave, the monsters are gathering their weapons to cause mayhem.

"It's time to make a delivery," said Troox.

"Yes, but it would be easier at night without fighting Jonathan's men," said Gorg.

"Where's the fun in that," he smirked.

Meanwhile, at the catacombs, the Warriors explain to Celestine and Beardsley about their encounter.

"You should've heard his laugh, creepy," said Vault.

"Impossible, Connor and GRave are out on patrol. At least, that's what he said," said Beardsley.

"Well I do hope nothing happens to him," said Celestine.

The next day at Planet Government, Jonathan is watching a security footage of Connor and the Skrill.

"Look at him, taking care of that dragon," said Jonathan.

"Yeah, he is quite fond of it," said Christopher.

"Come on, we've got a full day's work ahead of us," he said, as they left the security room.

Suddenly, they heard roaring, they turned and spotted the armored dragons.

They burst in and attacked the soldiers, and they've stolen a cargo.

"Hold your fire!" Jonathan ordered.

"Is this, part of your plan?" questioned Christopher.

"No," Jonathan said to Christopher. "But whoever is behind it, will talk to me," he said.

Back at the catacombs, the Warriors are talking to Connor about last night.

"What are you talking about, I didn't do those things," said Connor.

"But, Connor, we heard you, we saw you!" Alicia spoked.

"Come on, Connor's with me all night," said Grave.

"Wait, if Connor's with Grave, who was messing with you last night?" said Maia.

The monsters have taken the cargo to the offshore oil rig, after they landed the cargo, Troox took out a tranquilizer gun.

And then the cargo burst open and came out the Skrill and a dark elf... that looks like Connor with black hair.

Later, the Warriors are trying to find clues about this other Connor.

"Here," said Connor.

"Yeah, this is where the dragon rider stood when the lightning struck," said Alicia, and then Vault spotted a bracelet with the Planet Government symbol on it.

"What's this?" Vault questioned.

"Looks like a tracking device Planet Government uses," Alicia answered.

"So the dragon rider we saw light night might've been one of theirs." Kaguya spoked.

"you guys pay them a visit," Connor ordered.

Then half of the Warriors flew back to East Liverpool, while Connor and Prim stayed behind.

"Now let's see if we can find that dragon rider," he said to Prim.

Back at Planet Government, the phone ring in Jonathan's office, and he picked it up.

"This is Jonathan Earth, what do you want?" Jonathan answered.

'At 5 P.M., come alone to the offshore oil rig at West Virginia, with the sum of 10 million dollars in cash. If you don't, your project will be exterminated.' the caller said in a low voice. Then Mike came in.

"Don't worry sir. I've uncovered a certain large consortium that secretly holds the lease on the West Virginia oil rig," said Mike.

"The Warriors?" asked Jonathan.

"Planet Government," Mike answered to Jonathan.

"I am surprised," he said.

"Our, secret buyer?"

"It has to be," Jonathan said to Mike. "Aside from us, the buyer was the only one who paid us for the Ronnoc project. And I can't tolerate this kind of behavior. An example must be made." he said.

Later, the Warriors sneaked into the company, and Alicia hacked into the computer.

"The data bank's too big. I have to narrow down the search," said Alicia.

"How are you gonna do that?" Vault asked.

"By guessing," Alicia answered. "Whatever we saw last night, looked and sounded just like Connor, right?" she said.

"Right," Vault said to Alicia.

Then Alicia typed in the word 'clone'.

"Clone," Grave questioned.

"We're in."

Then they began to watch a video diary of the project.

The data was on Feb 10th where the scientists began to check the samples of two blood samples.

Jonathan: A customer had paid us to work on a project, on the extraction of living cell samples,

Then it changed to another date, Feb 16th. Where the scientists are activating the cloning process.

Enough to facilitate a successful cloning procedure. All data indicates the accelerated growth process is overriding the normally slow aging rate.

Then it changed to Mar 1st. Where the clone is in a stasis pod, and the soldiers have brought in the Skrill.

The only side effect is the hair pigmentation. New data indicates the clone has reached full teenager adolescence in a short six weeks.

Then on March 12th, the scientists are creating armor so the clone can ride the Skrill safely.

The artificial maturation rate has been augmented by an ongoing subliminal education program, personally designed by me to teach the clone.

Then on Mar 20th, the finished clone took off on the Skrill.

Now that the subject is fully grown, it's time for the experiment to see if it has no abnormalities.

"This is bad news," said Maia, as she and the Warriors were shocked.

Later, Mike took a speedboat to the oil rig, he climbed up to the platform with the money.

"There you are, and you brought the money," said Troox, then he opened the briefcase. "I didn't know they made lots of bills," he said.

Suddenly, Mike grabbed Troox and pinned him to the wall.

But what they didn't know, is that Connor and Prim are spying on them.

"What are Mike and Troox up to?" questioned Prim.

"I don't know, but let's not interrupt. Let's look inside," said Connor.

"I don't get it, what did I do?" Troox questioned.

"Stealing, what does it look like," said Mike, but Troox is confused.

"Are you saying we're being watched? Alright," he said. "Yeah, we paid you to work on that project, but we couldn't let you keep it. How was that," then Mike thought of something in shock.

Connor and Prim landed, and then they heard grunting.

"You hear that?" Prim spoke to Connor.

"It's coming from the oil tank," said Connor. He opened the door and went in.

"Connor, it's really you. I am Ronnoc." he introduced himself as he's in shackles.

Then Prim thought of something, the armor that Ronnoc's wearing.

"Wait, you're the man that beat us in the race," Prim spoked to Ronnoc.

"What are you," Connor questioned.

"The same as you and Origa." said Ronnoc. "It was both your bloods that spawned me," he answered.

"My blood!?" he yelled in shock.

"He's a clone. They grew him from a piece of you." Prim said in shock.

"A piece of me? This thing is me!" Connor said in anger. "First Origa destroys my home, and now she pieces out my soul!" he glanced at Ronnoc.

"You've got every right to be angry, but no right to take it out on Ronnoc," Prim spoke to Connor. "What difference does it make, how he came to be? Now he's as much a man as you are. In a way, he's almost your son." she said.

"How can you reject him?"

After what Prim said, Connor calmed down.

"You're right," Connor sighed. Z"Of course. If there's anyone to blame here it's Origa, not Ronnoc. I'm going to set him free." he said.

But what the two Warriors didn't know, is that Ronnoc removed the shackles, and he covered Connor's mouth with the anesthetic.

"That won't be necessary. The Shackles weren't locked," said Ronnoc.

"What are you doing!?" yelled Prim, and for a few seconds, Connor is knocked out.

"And just for the record, I'm more of a man than he'll ever be," he said as he laughed.

Back with Mike and Troox, the duo was confused. They think both of their bosses behind this.

"Hey goblin, what makes you think this was all just an act?" asked Mike.

"Your boss, and his instructions," said Troox.

"What are you talking about?" he said to Troox.

"The orders came from Earth's office by an e-mail. Prepping his rig, attacking the company, the ransom call. He planed it." he said.

"Well, you're wrong." Mike let's go of Troox.

"Well if Earth wasn't the one behind it, who was?" asked Troox. "Who had access to the company?" he asked. "Then Mike figured it out.

"Looks like the experiment was a success," said Mike.

"That's right," Mike looked up and saw Ronnoc coming down on Shocks, and he blasted at Mike and was knocked out. "A success," said Ronnoc.

Later, Ronnoc had shackled everyone in the oil tank.

"I'm impressed, Ronnoc. You played Origa very well. But if money was the reason, why not ask Mr. Earth." said Mike.

"Maybe on his terms, not mine," said Ronnoc. "Do you really expect me to spend my life being his soldier and the Queen's seo=cond in command? You two didn't go to all this trouble just to raise a child," he said.

"Great. You work, and work for them, and what happens? They trick you." said Troox.

"Don't tempt me." Ronnoc threatened Troox. "Time to go shocks, I've got plans of my own. And $10 million dollars to check out." he chuckled.

"So, how are you gonna spend it?" Troox asked.

"I'll find a way to make it work for me. I set all this up, didn't I?"

"Ronnoc, don't do it." Ronnoc turned to see Connor. "Money is a necessary thing in Earth's world, but not in ours. Join the Warriors," said Connor.

"And waste my life playing the hero to a city with humans and dragons? Where's the profit in that?" Ronnoc spoke to Connor.

"Being a knight isn't about profit. It's about protecting the ones you love," said Connor.

"I considered caring about you. It took some effort, but I arranged for you to join this party because I planned to share the money with you," said Ronnoc. "But our little... family reunion disappointed me, Father, So I've decided to hate you, too." he glared at Connor.

Then he turned to Prim.

"It's a shame about you, Princess. I'm afraid you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time."

"What the heck does that mean?" questioned Troox.

"He means we're gonna die," Mike said to Troox.

"This rig is not as empty as it looks. My other visit out here I found 200 gallons o9f stored oil topside. A fact that doesn't bode well for the four of you." Ronnoc spoked. "On my way out, I'm going to open those tanks, flood the platform with oil, Shocks will be my parting shot. I can't wait to see my proud parents go out in a fiery blaze of glory." he laughed as he left, and Ronnoc locked the door.

After Ronnoc is gone, Prim twisted her wrists and got the shackles off of her.

"What a girl," Mike said, sounding impressed.

"When you're training to be a Warrior, you pick up a few tricks," said Prim.

"But how do we get out?" said Troox.

"Well Ronnoc knocked me out and damaged the disk for emergencies, so I'm powerless," said Mike.

"Wait a minute," said Troox. "That disk could be out salvation if it still carries a charge," he said.

"Then it might destroy the shackles," Mike finished.

Then Prim took out the disk from Mike's pocket.

Meanwhile, Ronnoc is pouring the oil on the platform.

"Now I know where I got the strategy," said Ronnoc as he chuckled.

Then they burst out of the oil tank, where they spotted the spilled oil.

"Ronnoc wasn't kidding," said Prim. "One fore and the rig will explode," she said.

"The launch is this way." Mike pointed.

"Go with them, Prim. I have to face Ronnoc alone," said Connor.

"But, Connor-" Prim objected.

"Prim, please. He's my flesh and blood, he's my son," he said to Prim.

Later, Ronnoc was finishing spilling the oil and was about to be home free. Until Connor appeared.

"It's not too late, Ronnoc. We can start over." Connor spoke to Ronnoc.

"Over my dead body!" yelled Ronnoc, as he was about to shock him. Connor jumped on Ronnoc, causing him to drop the briefcase.

As the two were struggling with each other, Ronnoc accidentally blasted the oil from his armor, and when the flames reach the barrels they exploded.

Then Prim saw the fire as she was on a speedboat with Mike, and Troox escaped with an armored Nightmare.

Back at the rig, Connor got back up from the explosion and he spotted Ronnoc.

"Ronnoc!" Connor called out. "We gotta get out of here!"

"Not without my money!' Ronnoc yelled back, and he found the briefcase.

Suddenly, another explosion came which launched Connor into the water.

Then Connor rose back up and swim to the speedboat.

"Hmph, I didn't know the clone couldn't be a success like the original," said Mike.

"That clone was a person, and we failed," Connor said to Mike.

Then the Warriors came with Shade.

"What happened?" Grave questioned.

"We've been busy," Prim told them.

"We were busy too," said Maia.

"We learned a whole lot about Ronnoc," said Alicia.

"So did we," said Prim.

The next day in the cave, Troox was having a conversation with Origa.

"It's unfortunate I couldn't prevent all that ransom money from burning up, your highness. That 10 million would cover the installation of a computer system," said Troox.

"What makes you so sure the 10 million was destroyed?" asked Origa. "It didn't occur to me till just now, but if I had been in Ronnoc's shoes, I would've had a plan for escaping that oil rig," she said.

"I would've known that faking my own death was the means of escaping with those millions."

"You mean he's still out there?" Troox said. m"He has the money, he's as powerful as Connor, and he's smarter than you?" he said to Origa.

"Troox? I think I've created a monster," said Origa, as Ronnoc's evil laugh was heard from her head.
