Several weeks later, Jon had begun to show. He had the cutest little baby bump. He had already notified Joey of the pregnancy, and was able to keep working. Him and Eddie were working one night, when Jon heard shouting coming from outside. He walked outside, noticing a bunch of men beating up a young man. He wanted to stop them so bad, but knew he shouldn't, cause he didn't want anything to happen to the baby. He rushed back inside, notifying Eddie of the attack. "Either you stop them from beating on that kid or I will." Jon told Eddie.

"Like hell you are." Eddie growled, rushing outside. Several minutes later, Eddie walked back in, the kid on his shoulder. Both men sported black eyes and bloodied faces but the kid was worse off. Jon sighed, looking at Eddie. "Go clean yourself up. I'll take care of the kid."

"Darby Allin. And I'm not a fucking kid. I'm 28. Hardly a fucking kid." Darby growled.

Jon chuckled. "Feisty."

Darby rolled his eyes.

Jon sighed, saying, "Regardless of how old you are, we gotta get you cleaned up. You look like shit, dude."

"I can do it myself." Darby got up and tried to take a step, but immediately felt a sharp pain in his ankle. "Fuck!" He hissed, gripping the counter. Jon squatted down, pulling up Darby's pants leg and taking off his shoe. His foot was really swollen, but didn't appear to be broken. "Looks like a bad sprain. You're gonna have to be off your feet for a few weeks." Jon noted. He stood back up and helped Darby get to the bathroom. He got a wad of paper towel wet and began to clean up Darby's face. He caught Darby staring at his bump and frowned. "Didn't your mother teach you not to stare?" He snapped. He instantly regretted it. "Dude, I'm sorry. My bump is a sensitive subject for me."

"Your bump? That's not a beer belly?" Darby asked, confused.

Jon sighed. "No, Darby, it is not a beer belly. And honestly I don't want to talk about it. It's embarrassing."

"Dude, just tell him. He's gonna find out sooner or later." Eddie said as he finished cleaning his own face.

"I-I can't. This isn't the kind of thing you reveal to someone you just met." Jon then groaned, the morning sickness still hadn't let up, even though he was now in the second trimester. It tended to act up more when he was stressed. "Excuse me." He excused himself, rushing into the stall and vomiting into the toilet.

Darby put two and two together. "You're pregnant? Isn't it physically impossible for men to get pregnant?"

"He absorbed his twin in the womb and her organs formed inside of him in addition to his own." Eddie explained. "It's very rare. Jon basically has both female and male parts."

"Oh.." Darby muttered.

"Hey kid, do you have a place to go?" Eddie asked as he watched Jon rinse his mouth out.

"N-No..." Darby admitted in defeat.

"Would you like to come stay with us until we can find you your own place?" Eddie asked him.

"I shouldn't...but it's better than sleeping on the street. I guess so." Darby sighed.

Jon finished cleaning up Darby's face and helped him stand up. He looked at Darby and said, "Our shift is almost over. Think you can hang tight for a little while?"

"No problem." Darby answered.

"Dammit..." Jon said, running back to the stall. After getting sick yet again, he sighed sadly, looking at Eddie. "Can you ask Joey if he can come in a little early? I just feel so sick right now, I don't think I can leave the bathroom." He felt tears begin to stream down his face. Eddie frowned, pulling Jon close. "I'm taking you to the hospital when we get done here. You should not be vomiting this much. And Darby, you're going with to get that ankle checked out. I'm sure it's just a sprain but I'd rather be safe than sorry, wouldn't you?"

Darby nodded.

"Can you keep Jon company while I finish our shift?" Again, Darby nodded.

"Ughhhh..." Jon groaned, leaning over the toilet again. But this time, he didn't have anything left in his stomach, so he was just dry heaving. "This...fucking...sucks..." He complained.

"I know, Jon." Darby said sadly. "Do you mind me asking why you decided to keep the baby?"

"Not at all." Jon said. "Because I am the result of a failed abortion attempt. I don't believe in abortion because of that. My life has been hell from day 1. I know I can give this baby a better life than I had. And because I'm not getting any younger. I didn't know about my condition until I was told I was pregnant. So yeah, I'm keeping this baby, even though he or she makes me sicker than a dog. I'm miserable but the misery will be worth it in the end when our beautiful baby is born."

Darby smiled softly, rubbing Jon's back. They sat in the bathroom talking until Eddie came in. "Joey's here. He let us off early so I can take you to the hospital." Eddie helped Jon and Darby up, guiding them to his truck. Jon had a few more dry heaving spells on the way to the hospital, but didn't have Eddie pull over cause he knew nothing would come out. Once they arrived at the hospital, a nurse got Darby and Jon situated in an exam room. Eddie told the nurse everything, including Jon being pregnant.

"Let me talk to the doctor, he might be able to prescribe an anti-nausea medication."

A few minutes later, the doctor came in. He reviewed Jon's case and said, "I know exactly what's going on. You have a pregnancy complication known as Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Long story short it's basically morning sickness magnified. I will prescribe you Zofran to take every day for the remainder of your pregnancy. Although it may not always work. I'll give you a dose now." He looked in the medicine cart until he found a bottle of Zofran. He took a couple pills out and handed them to Jon, who took them right away. The doctor then turned his attention to Darby, examining his swollen ankle. "It does not appear to be broken, however, I will have the nurse give you an x-ray just to be sure."

The nurse came in and did the x-ray. Within minutes the doctor returned, a smile on his face. "Great news! It is not broken, just sprained. Ice it and keep it elevated until it heals. You two are good to go now." The doctor told them, handing Jon a prescription for the Zofran.

On the way home, Jon noticed something. "Holy shit!"

"What?!" Eddie asked, worried.

"I'm actually fucking hungry for once!"

"Anything specific?" Eddie asked with a smile, glad that the Zofran was working.

Jon thought for a moment. "Watermelon and cottage cheese."

"As you wish." Eddie smiled, driving until he found a Walmart. Jon immediately got out of the truck, Eddie following close behind. Because of his bum ankle, Darby stayed in the truck. Jon held Eddie's hand as they walked into the store together. "Shit, I have to pee." Jon said to Eddie. Eddie nodded and walked with Jon to the bathrooms. Eddie stayed by the sinks while Jon relieved himself at a urinal. When he finished, he washed his hands. "You know...watermelon and cottage cheese isn't the only thing I'm craving." He smirked, grabbing Eddie's hands, kissing him deeply.

"Jon..." Eddie moaned softly, surprised at Jon's sudden arousal. "Not here. Too many people could walk in and you're not exactly the quietest when having sex. Plus Darby is waiting in the truck."

Jon pouted but nodded. After they left the bathroom, they looked for the watermelon and then the cottage cheese. Once they found both, they headed to the checkout and paid for the items. They then headed back out to the truck. When they got there, Darby was fast asleep. They got in the truck quietly, careful not to wake the sleeping man. The rest of the ride home was silent except for soft moans coming from Jon. It was distracting Eddie, making it hard to focus on the road. "Do ya have to moan like that?" Eddie snapped. Jon frowned, his moans stopping and he stared out the window, trying his hardest to not get upset. He did not try hard enough, as he felt tears stream down his face.

Eddie heard Jon sniffle and he sighed, feeling bad for yelling at Jon. "I'm sorry, babe, I didn't mean to yell at you. You were just making it hard to focus on the road. I didn't want to get us in an accident." Eddie explained, hoping it would calm his lover down.

"You know I can't help it. It's the hormones. But you still yelled at me. I'm hurt. Just drop me off at my place and you and Darby can go back to your place. I need to be alone for a couple hours."

"Jon.."

"No. You don't get to do that. You don't get to feel bad. You clearly were annoyed with me. I just need to be alone. I'll call you."

"But..."

"Eddie, just stop. I need to do some packing anyway. I promise I'll still move in with you. I just need to be alone for a few hours. Please." Jon sighed.

Eddie nodded in defeat, pulling into Jon's driveway. Jon immediately got out of the truck, running inside. Eddie was shocked at what just happened but shook it off.

When Jon got back into his apartment, he screamed at the top of his lungs. He was pissed at Eddie for yelling at him for something he couldn't control. He screamed repeatedly for a couple minutes, until he felt a weird feeling in his stomach. "Huh?" He questioned, looking down at his bump. He then felt the odd feeling again. "Oh my God..." He mumbled when he realized that he was feeling the baby kicking. All his anger melted away as he placed his hand on his belly. He had to tell Eddie. He pulled his phone out and dialed his boyfriend's number.

"What do you want, Jon? I thought you wanted to be alone for a few hours." Eddie asked when he answered.

"It kicked." Jon said.

"What kicked?"

"The baby...it kicked me." Jon said.

"Holy fuck." Eddie said in awe.

"I know! I'm sorry for getting upset at you. Can you forgive me?" Jon asked.

"Only if you can forgive me for getting mad at you."

"Done." Jon smiled.

"Do you want me to come over and help you pack?" Eddie asked.

"Probably wouldn't be a bad idea. I shouldn't be doing any heavy lifting."

"I'll be over right away."

As Jon hung up the phone, he felt the baby kick hard. "Easy there, little one." Kick. Right in the bladder too. "Dammit!" Jon shouted, rushing to the bathroom and relieving himself. "Really? You gonna kick me right in the bladder?"

"Talking to yourself again, Mox?" Eddie walked in, chuckling.

"No. YOUR child kicked me in the bladder and I almost pissed myself."

"Is it still kicking?"

"Oh yeah. It hasn't stopped since I first felt it."

"I wanna feel." Eddie gushed, placing his hands on Jon's belly. "Oh my God.."

"I know. It feels so weird though. It's like butterflies in your stomach times 1000."

Eddie grimaced, imagining the feeling. "I'm sick of calling it an 'it'. When do we find out the gender?"

"In about a week. I've got an ultrasound appointment planned. I don't want to do anything special for the reveal either."

"So you don't want a gender reveal party?"

"No."

Eddie was bummed but nodded. "Where's all your stuff that you're bringing to my house?" He asked Jon.

"In my bedroom. It's almost mostly boxed up, I just need to get it to your place. And I have an idea. What if I keep paying for this apartment but we let Darby move into it? That way he will have his own place and I can pay the rent until he gets a good job."

"That's a great idea. Then we will have privacy when it comes to our sex life."

Jon blushed deeply. "Can you take care of my needs now?" Jon asked with a pout.

"You still fucking horny even after our fight?" Eddie asked with a laugh.

"Maybe..." Jon giggled.

"Oh what am I gonna do with you, you horny motherfucker?" Eddie smirked.

"Fuck me?"

"You're really something, Jon Moxley. On your hands and knees, NOW." He ordered, smacking Jon on the ass.

Jon moaned and did as told. He gasped when he felt Eddie rip off his shorts, instantly sticking a finger into Jon's entrance. "Oh Eddie..." He moaned, feeling his cock instantly harden. "Oh fuck.." Jon moaned when he felt a second finger enter his puckered hole. He felt Eddie begin to move his two fingers around to prep Jon for his hardened length.

Jon was about to beg Eddie to fuck him when he felt Eddie's massive cock enter him. "Fuck fuck fuck." He panted. "Eddie.." He moaned softly, gripping the bed sheets as Eddie began to pound into him. It wasn't long before Jon came hard, crying out Eddie's name. Eddie followed close behind, panting as he pulled out of Jon. "Fuck, that was amazing." He admitted.

"It always is." Jon smirked. Kick. "Damn it why does it keep kicking me in the bladder?" Jon asked, rushing to the bathroom. Eddie chuckled. "It's part of being pregnant dumbass. Even when it isn't kicking you in the bladder you still gotta pee all the time."

"Yeah but when it kicks me I literally almost piss myself. Like not enough time to make it to the bathroom." Jon said as he relieved himself. When he finished, he flushed the toilet and headed back to Eddie, who had put his clothes back on. "Fuck.." He groaned. "Did I leave my Zofran in the truck?"

"Yeah. Need me to go grab it?" Eddie asked.

"N-no...I've packed all I need. We can head back to your place now. I'll take some when we get back in the truck."

Jon rubbed his stomach gently, hoping it would ease the nausea. He watched Eddie pick up all the boxes and carry them to the truck in one trip. "Fuck man.." Jon groaned again, bending over. Eddie grimaced as he watched his lover vomit on to the pavement. "Dude. If you're gonna be this miserable for the entire pregnancy, maybe we should get an abortion... I-"

"NO. Eddie, how could you even suggest that, knowing everything I went through as a child?"

"Jon, you're absolutely miserable. Is all this misery worth it in the end?"

"OF COURSE IT IS WORTH IT!" Jon shouted. All over again he was pissed off. And hurt. "Do you even love this child that I'm carrying? Your own flesh and blood?" Jon asked sadly.

"Of course I love it, Jon."

"THEN HOW COULD YOU SUGGEST MURDERING IT?!" Jon seethed.

"I just hate seeing how miserable you are. You're miserable and I can't do anything except watch it happen. Jon, I love you. But I hate seeing you suffer."

"I'm not suffering though. Sure I'm constantly puking and pissing but I know what the end result will be. I'm only 16 weeks along and I already love this baby with all my heart. It's not causing misery when the end result is something as precious as a baby."

"I guess you're right. I'm sorry, babe."

"It's okay, I know you're just trying to keep me safe. And by the way, I love you too." Jon said, smiling softly.

"You're not gonna stay mad at me?"

"Nope, I know you're just trying to watch out for me." Jon said, getting in the truck.

Eddie sighed and drove them back to Eddie's apartment. Jon was silent the entire ride. Eddie couldn't help but wonder if Jon was still mad at him. When they got back to Eddie's apartment, Jon grabbed the bottle of Zofran and ran into the building, leaving Eddie to carry all the boxes in.

Darby was shocked when he saw Jon rush in, immediately running to the bedroom, slamming the door. He noticed Eddie walk in with Jon's boxes and decided to help him. He grabbed a few boxes from Eddie, setting them down in the living room. "What's going on with Jon?"

Darby asked curiously.

"I suggested we get an abortion because the pregnancy is making Jon miserable. He got super pissed and we had an argument. He said he wasn't pissed at me anymore but I guess he lied."

"Shit man. I think you need to go apologize."

"I already did."

Darby sighed. "I guess just give him a little while to cool off then."

Meanwhile, Jon was in the bedroom, sobbing quietly. He couldn't get over the fact that Eddie suggested an abortion. All the memories from his childhood came flooding back. Jon began to freak out, almost as if in a trance. "No! Leave me alone! Stop it!" He sobbed.

Eddie heard Jon shout and rushed into the bedroom. He saw Jon clenching his fists and holding them in front of his face, almost as if he was trying to protect himself. "JON. SNAP OUT OF IT!" He said, wrapping his arms around Jon. Jon tried to get away but Eddie just held him tighter. "Shh...I got you, babe. This isn't Cincinnati anymore. We're in Vegas now. I got you."

Eventually, Jon stopped shaking. He buried his face into Eddie's chest and cried. "I got you." Eddie said again, brushing his hands through Jon's hair. "I love you, I love our baby. I'm sorry I even mentioned that forbidden word."

It wasn't long before Eddie heard soft snores coming from the younger man. He sighed a sigh of relief. He's never seen Jon freak out like that before. When he was sure Jon was fast asleep, he tucked the younger man in and headed back out to the living room. "Shit man, that was fucked up." He told Darby. "I've never seen him freak out like that before."

"Maybe he needs to go to therapy, talk it out with a therapist. These outbursts will just keep happening if he doesn't get help."

Eddie sighed. "You're right, but Jon would never agree to meet with a therapist. He's stubborn."

Darby nodded. "Go back in there with him. He needs you."

Eddie nodded, heading back to the bedroom. He could see Jon trembling in his sleep, whimpering as if he was having a nightmare. Eddie laid down next to his sleeping boyfriend, smiling softly when he felt the younger man relax against his touch, the trembling and whimpering both stopping. "I'll never let anyone hurt you ever again." Eddie mumbled, kissing Jon's forehead. Eddie had just about fallen asleep himself when he felt Jon jerk upward. He opened his eyes, seeing Jon rushing into the bathroom. Eddie grimaced as Jon vomited into the toilet. Eddie headed into the bathroom, getting Jon a cool washcloth. "I got you, Jon. Let it out." He said, placing the cool compress on Jon's forehead, rubbing his back as well. In between gags, Jon managed to choke out, "Z-Zofran...please.."

"Hey Darby!" Eddie shouted from the bathroom.

"Yeah?"

"Can you get Jon's bottle of Zofran? I put it on kitchen table!"

"Coming right up!" Darby rushed to find the bottle, then bringing it to Eddie. Eddie got a pill out, handing it to Jon and getting him a glass of water. Jon waited a few seconds for the gagging to subside before he took the Zofran. "Thanks." He said weakly.

"Jon..."

Jon sighed. "Please don't start. I don't feel well, I'm not in the mood to argue."

"It's not about the pregnancy." Eddie stated.

"Then what's it about?" Jon asked, looking up at his lover.

"You had some kind of episode earlier, like you were in a trance. What was that about?"

"I don't want to talk about it." Jon said, looking away.

"Jon, either you tell me or you need to see a therapist cause these episodes will just keep happening."

"I ain't seeing no goddamn shrink!" Jon growled.

"THEN TELL ME WHY YOU FREAKED OUT SO I CAN HELP YOU!" Eddie shouted in frustration.

Jon sighed, looking down. "My mom was a junkie. Every day she would bring home different men and do drugs with them. Occasionally her drug dealers would come over, demanding money. I've been beaten by those men more often than not. The drug dealers have pulled guns on me more than once. I went to a psychologist when I was 18 and was diagnosed with PTSD. I have these episodes when I get super stressed out. I've tried medication after medication. Nothing helps. I tried talking to therapists. It only made the episodes happen more. The episodes started to slow down when I got together with you...until today. I'm sorry if I worried you, babe."

"Oh Jon, holy fuck. I didn't know. I'm sorry."

"I'll be okay. Just don't-"

"Don't mention that forbidden word anymore. Got it."

"Thank you." Jon flushed the vomit filled toilet and brushed his teeth. He stood up, wrapping his arms around Eddie tightly. "You're such a big teddy bear." Jon giggled, pecking his lover's lips.

"We can cuddle later, sexy. I need to make us something to eat. I'm starving." Eddie said with a laugh.

"Okay...I'm not quite hungry just yet, still a bit nauseous. I'm gonna go lay down. Let me know when it is done and I'll let you know if I'm hungry or not."

Eddie nodded, watching as Jon went back into the bedroom.

Jon yawned as he laid down, rubbing his stomach in hopes that it would settle it. Before he knew it, he had fallen fast asleep.
