Sailor Pluto stepped to the front. She knew the odds too and cast a hard stare at the redhead. "This is your last opportunity to hand over the Ginzuishou." She stated coldly. "After that, we break you."
Ranma growled, clenching the rock in her fist. "Can't you people get it through your thick heads! Nobody touches the rock!" Her fiery gaze leveled on the leader. "You of all people should know that, S-"
She doesn't manage to finish her sentence as another attack from the green one that called herself Neptune if she remembered correctly. She dodged the first attack but she doesn't notice the blond with short hair thrusting her sword. When she noticed, it was already too late.
Uranus's Space Sword impaled the redhead. The tip of her sword dyed red now.
At first, Pluto doesn't want to do this. But as the redhead is way too stubborn and skillful to give back the stone, so she has to take drastic measures.
"Setsuna-mama, isn't this way too overkill?" Saturn asked.
"Don't worry, after the Ginzuishou has been retrieved, she can always be revived. And this can teach anyone that tries to steal the Ginzuishou a lesson." Pluto reasoned.
She turned her head towards the redhead again. Uranus already pulling back her sword. The blood from the redhead's wound began to pool beneath her feet before her leg give up and she breathed her last breath. The Ginzuishou fall from her hand as she fell face first. Uranus quickly retrieved the silver stone before anyone can take it. Not anyone will though, as the crowd that watched their brief scuffle for the Ginzuishou just stared at the redhead's now lifeless body.
"Ranchan!"
"Ranma!"
"Airen!"
"Pigtailed goddess!"
The once shocked crowd shook away their shock and now ran towards the redhead's lifeless body. Many of them glared at the Senshi as they tried to save her. If a look could kill, all the Senshi will undoubtedly die from their glare.
"Don't worry, we just want the Ginzuishou back."
"But it doesn't mean you must kill people!" The one with blue hair yelled.
"Don't worry, we'll revive her. Princess." Pluto told them.
"Magic girl revives airen?" The Chinese-looking one asked.
"Yes. So don't worry about her." Pluto motioned Princess to go to the redhead body. "Revive her, Princess. And all of you should back off a little." She told the gathered people around the redhead's body.
"Okay." She began her revival spell. "Moon Healing Escalation!" A few moments passed. "Weird..."
"Hm, about what Princess?" She asked the Ruin Senshi.
"She can't... can't be revived," Princess muttered after a few seconds of silence. "It's weird. She should be alive now."
Before she, other Senshi, and the gathered people could say anything, a voice interrupted them.
"That's right. She can't and will not be revived."
She and the others turned their head toward the source of the voice. There, a young girl clad in blue kimono calmly walked toward the crowd of the Senshi and the inhabitants of Nerima. She has long blue hair pulled up into a ponytail and purple eyes. She was clad in a light-pink kimono with a white obi sash.
"Who are you?" Pluto asked. She can't sense her at all. "More importantly, what do you mean by she can't be revived?"
"Ah, you still don't realize it, Setsuna Meiou?"
Pluto and the rest of the Senshi flinched hearing the unknown girl casually saying Pluto's civilian name. She mentally checked her armor's wards to ensure the disguise field was, in fact, online and functional. Same with the others.
"Excuse me, who are you?" Ami asked the question again. When she checked about the mysterious girl's energy, her energy consisted of unknown energy and pure life energy.
"My name is Botan. I'm a spirit charged with ferrying souls of the deceased to the Spirit World to face their final judgment." She calmly introduced herself.
"Spirit?" Pluto asked, disbelief in her voice.
"Is that too hard to believe?"
"No. I mean..."
"Well, believe what you want. I'm here to take Ranma Saotome's soul to the Spirit World."
"Wait, you didn't answer my earlier question. Why she can't be revived?"
"Well, her previous life's spirit has violated one of the Reincarnation Rule."
"Reincarnation Rule?" Uranus asked.
"Yes, everything has a rule. Reality. Physic. Reincarnation. Life. Even Death has the rule to be followed." Ignoring the look of disbelief on the faces of the others, she went to the redhead's corpse known as Ranma Saotome. "I'm surprised you killed her. After all, the reason she violated the rule is because of you guys."
"What do you mean?" Mercury asked.
"Ever wonder why she has and can use the crystal?"
"The Silver Crystal? But..." This time, Setsuna spoke.
Sighing, the blue-haired Shinigami said, "I guess I will have to spell it loud to you." Pointing fingers towards the corpse, she said, "This girl, is the reincarnation of the Queen Serenity, the one you swore to protect."
Facing Setsuna and other Senshi, she spoke. "Congratulation, you just killed your beloved Queen. And there's no way you could revive her."
