Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Goddess and the Rouge. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Genshin Impact, MiHoYo and a few others do.
Balvant looked over the girl who couldn't be a little older then him. Balvant blinked from behind his mask as he moved it slightly enough to see his eyes.
"Hmm…" Balvant said as the he heard sounds in the distance and cursed. "Damn it…" Balvant muttered before he picked up the girl.
He turned and rushed away into the fleeting rain before wondering what happened.
"Who the hell are you?" Balvant questioned the woman as he rushed into the rain.
Balvant slid behind a bit of cover and looked at the girl who sat in his arms. Balvant set the girl down and hummed.
He took in the girl's golden hair, the snow-white dress. The girl didn't look like she lived in this kingdom.
"You don't look like your even from this planet, lady." Balvant said as he looked over the cover to see guards pouring out to secure the area.
"Great, and here comes the kingdom's personal army of enforcers." Balvant muttered before being thrown to the side.
Balvant slid along the ground and groaned as he looked up to see the girl hovering him. Her sword held in her left hand.
Balvant blinked before kicking up and knocking the girl back before reaching behind him.
Balvant carried 2 sets of weapons if he was ever attacked. The first were his guns that he was able to mow down any enemy that attacked him if need be.
The second was his curved daggers which had phoenix like designs curving down the blades. He drew both of them from their sheathes on the back of his hips.
He crossed them as he and the girl stood apart from each other.
"I just saved you from getting arrested." Balvant stated from under his mask. "And this is the thanks I get for trying to be nice? Oy, remind me not to be nice to random people." Balvant muttered to himself as the girl cocked her head to the side.
Her golden eyes clashed with his pale blue ones. This girl looked at him with interest while she twirled her ornate sword through her fingers.
"Who are you?" The girl questioned Balvant who tilted his head in response. "And, where are we?" The girl asked Balvant who could only blink and look her in the eye.
Balvant straightened up for a moment before he looked at the girl with interest.
"This is Monstadt." Balvant stated and looked at the girl. "And I'm Balvant… Now my turn, who are you? And why did you fall out of the sky?" Balvant questioned the girl.
"Lumine." The girl stated before placing her sword on her hip. "And I am a goddess." Lumine stated which made Balvant roll his eyes and turn to the side.
"Yeah, starting to think you hit your head too hard on something." Balvant stated as he sheathed his swords.
Lumine said nothing which made Balvant hum and blink. He knew for a fact there was people more powerful then him. Lumine looked like a warrior who couldn't be defeated… Yet at the same time? She looked so vulnerable, like she was from another realm.
Lumine hummed and looked at the thief before humming. She noticed the weapons on his side which showed that he was a warrior.
Still? She had to find her brother sooner or later. Lumine started to walk away before Balvant hummed.
"Where are you going?" Balvant questioned her and blinked as he looked at her before he grabbed her arm.
Lumine glared at him but did nothing to him at the moment. Balvant slightly tugged her towards him.
"You go that way?" Balvant questioned the girl. "Their kill you, people who look as fancy as you? Their going to gut you… Or worse." Balvant added before blinking.
"And why should I trust you?" Lumine questioned before Balvant chuckled.
"Now that's the right question to ask." Balvant stated to her before moving his mask to the side. "But to answer your question? You can't… However? I haven't met someone who's so willing to at least offer some trust to me without mora being involved… How about I show you around the city… And if you don't want to trust me by then? Chop me up into stew meat." Balvant muttered before blinking and turning to the side.
He didn't know what would become of this down the road, still? He wanted to make sure that things were dealt with before he did something.
"And you can show me everything this place has to offer?" Lumine questioned Balvant who could only hum and nod with amusement.
"What did I just state?" Balvant asked and nodded once more before walking away and brushing off her hands.
Still? He knew for a fact that if he didn't help her? That she'd be hurt or worse. It wasn't something that he had to point out.

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out that Lumine and Balvant will be bonding and such. Next chapter will be 1200 words and in 2-10 weeks and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf.
P.S: Beidou is 1200 words and Ningguang is 1200 words and such. I might make more Genshin impact stories down the week hopefully soon or such
