It had almost been a day since Ponny was first introduced to the rest of the Smash House, whereas the entirety of her interactions felt awkward. Most of the time, because of her condition, most fighters volunteered to watch over her.

This week, she is with the Hyrule gang, sitting on the couch with them while watching TV. During their little time together, Young Link darted his eyes to her.

Ponny was hugging her Eevee plushie like always and was smiling brightly at it.

The young hylian scoffed in disbelief as he fidgeted with his hat. Some loss for someone who didn't choose her he thought bitterly.

Ganondorf and Link were just reading, while Toon Link was out training with Ness, Lucas and the inklings.

The entire time in the living room, everything was normal until Zelda walked in, carrying her purse. "Okay, guys. I'm off to the shops for some items. Can I trust you guys to watch over Ponny as I am gone?" She asked the boys.

Perking his head up in surprise, Young Link shot up from the couch and said, "well I think it's best if Ponny goes with you!"

Considering this decision carefully, Zelda obliged. "Great idea, kid," she replied while gently grabbing the Primid's hand, only to have her yank it from her grasp.

"Oh, not used to having your hand held?" The Hyrule princess asked, witnessing Ponny's action.

Shaking her head in response, the small Primid squeezed Mrs. snugglefuss tightly. Zelda just shrugged and headed out the door with the Primid.

sighing in relief, Young Link took a huge sip from a bottle of milk he had stored away.

"That's the end of that," he told himself. The adult version, Link, set his book down and looked over to the couch Ponny used to sit on.

Surprised as he was, Link began to ask, "where's the Primid kid?"

"Went with Zelda," Young Link replied. "She volunteered to go with her to the shops." The young Hylian smirked slyly and brandished his sword a little.

Ganondorf, still reading, joined in on the conversation.

"Guess you wanted to finally be rid of her?" He spoke, his voice apprehensive and dark. "Such a low blow, kid."

Young Link scoffed once more at this remark and waved a dismissive hand. "C'mon, you know I had to! Besides, what use would she do for us if she's from the bad side?"

Link stood up from his seat and settled himself next to his younger counterpart, about to engage in a serious conversation. "Look, I know Ponny is a Primid, and Primids were very bad people, but that was a long time ago.

She's been in and out of cages and she's never really had a home. Mario made a good decision in keeping her, and we all stick to that."

Ganondorf could do nothing but nod in agreement. "The green hero's right. If it wasn't for us to agree, he would've thrown her out back onto the streets for good."

The entire room fell silent as Young Link thought over his decision a bit and how unfair it would be to treat Ponny very differently. Sure she was from the subspace species which were known for being notoriously evil, but not her.

All she really wanted was a home and people who showed actual love and affection towards her.

Meanwhile with Zelda and Ponny, they entered the supermarket down at the Smash Kingdom's main streets, where everything seemed normal.

Out and about, Miis and wireframes scurried from across the market's main floor here and there, looking for things.

The entire place was bustling with life. Ponny held Mrs. snugglefuss in one hand while she held Zelda's hand with the other. The girls headed for the food aisles, inspecting some various displays of fish.

Ponny, witnessing its reddish white texture, winced a little and felt like vomiting.

The princess took note of the small Primid's Reaction to the appearance of the cut fish and quickly took her out of the aisle. "So sorry, sweetie!" She said, helping Ponny regain consciousness.

The Primid just smiled and still walked on with Zelda.

They were able to find some items they would need for the Smash House, alongside some treats for Ponny since she behaved so well during their time at the market.

As they had returned home, the Primid noticed that everyone was in the dining hall, where food was being served. Ponny was escorted to the lunch lines, but from the sights of the food she encountered made her gag a little.

Some of it were foods that contained wheat and eggs.

Eww, yuck! she thought, scrunching her face in disgust.

"Something wrong?" Pac-man stepped in, placing a reassuring hand on the Primid's shoulder. Startled a bit, Ponny turned to see the yellow smash fighter.

Pac-man looked up to see the food being served at the buffet, where every fighter collected concoctions of yummy delicacies and headed to their tables.

"Don't like the food?" He asked once more. Ponny nodded her head, making a disgusted gesture with her hands covering her face.

"Don't worry about it!" Pac-man laughed, "I'll go get a special order just for you." Walking with the yellow ball to get her own order, they were able to switch out the wheat and eggs for something else.

"Hey, what do you like, Ponny?" He asked, motioning his face to the Primid's direction.

Ponny only pointed to the certain foods that were shown on the menu above the buffet - plain rice crackers, slices of watermelon, yogurt, and a small cup of water.

"Alright. We can do that," Pac-man said, shrugging his shoulders.

Having gotten her tray served and handed to her, Ponny waved a thankful hand to pac-man and went to find a table to sit down at. Inspecting a row of fighters at their tables, talking and laughing away, she noticed one of them.

Inkling girl, Lucas, and Mii gunner were sitting at a table together, eating away and talking. There stood an empty seat, and became aware that this would be her chance to meet the rest of her family. Trotting over to the chair, she sat down to enjoy her meal.

Mii gunner, noticing the Primid sitting with them, gave off a disgusted scowl and picked her tray up.

"Come on. Let's separate ourselves from this emissary spawn," she hissed, leading Lucas and Inkling girl to another table. Ponny was left alone again... as usual.

Witnessing the trio leave from Ponny's table, Fox looked over at the Primid who sat alone, eating her food.

Walking over to the empty table, he sat down beside her to comfort her. Fox's eyes were fixed on his food only, since starting a conversation with a Primid would just jeopardize the moment.

Unfortunately, the leader of Star Fox didn't care about what others will think since this is not how you treat family.

He motioned his gaze towards Ponny and began to speak. "Hey there! How's it going?"

No answer. Fox came up with every strategy he could until Ponny turned over to him and just gave off a shy smile. The Primid took a slice of Watermelon off her tray and handed it to Fox.

"N-No. I'm fine," he said, cautiously waving a dismissive hand. Ponny used her sign language ability to detail her experience here at the Smash House.

"Not going so well?" Fox replied finally, understanding every aspect of her movements. "I totally get that. These fighters here seem to enjoy holding grudges.

You'll get used to them eventually, even if Mario doesn't make it happen."

The small Primid was now lifting Mrs. Snugglefuss in her hands and pretending to make her drink from the straw to her glass of water. She giggled silently, enjoying some bits of fun.

Fox turned his head over to look at the Primid, who bore a bright smile across her face.

Silent tears streamed down Fox's eyes as he too smiled with glee. Ever since she came to the house, the fighters here were nothing but hostile towards her.

The only people who seemed to be kind enough to interact with her were Mario, pac-man, Mega Man, Sonic, and a small handful of the others.

Poor thing he thought to himself pitifully. Not even a single soul here is giving her a chance. Despite that "event" happening a long time ago, they still feel discomfort.

As soon as lunchtime ended, everyone headed out to the lobbies to go about their day. Many fighters were either fighting, some were talking, and others were doing their own thing.

Meanwhile with Ponny, she was taking a stroll through the place, curiously inspecting everyone while hugging her Eevee stuffie.

The lobby was a huge place here in the Smash House and was also a resting area for anyone who wanted or needed it. She took notice of Mario chatting up a storm with Luigi, Peach, and Bowser.

They were with Dr. Mario, who seemed to be holding a megavitamin in his hand.

"Luigi, we all suggest you take your antidepressants," he spoke, his voice stern. "You're getting worse by the minute."

The green plumber calmly denied this by answering with a simple "no, I don't."

The small Primid was then stopped by a sudden shock of air behind her. Turning around to check, she was startled by the sound of beeps. Upon finding the noise, it was just Mr. Game and Watch.

He was playfully sneaking about the lobby, scaring his housemates.

The Primid gave off a well-rounded smile as she saw him face-to-face. Game and Watch responded with a happy sounding "beep".

Holding out his hand, he was patiently waiting for a handshake.

Ponny shook it in response, and giggled softly. The polygon fighter then guided her out of the lobby to the bazaar, where they would spend the majority of the afternoon together.

However, Captain Falcon and Ganondorf were sitting at a picnic table, watching as the party of two were headed to another place in the house.

"Great. That Primid's basically got more fighters sucking up under her," the King of Evil hissed angrily, taking a sip from his coffee mug.

Captain Falcon just nervously rubbed his forearm and chuckled slightly, sweat beading from his forehead.
