Smash Academy is a school opened up by Master Hand for all the fighters of Smash Kingdom to not only brush up on their skills, but to learn about numerous things, ranging from battle tactics and stages to the anomalies and phenomenons that happen within this universe.

It functioned like a regular school in the human world, but with a few different factors to it.

That included there being a fighting class and lunch being served outdoors and indoors. Sure it seemed like a nice and gentle school, but it would often spark controversy amongst the public for countless unauthorized fist fights happening within its vicinity.

Outside in the courtyard of the school, a dozen of Wireframes, Miis, multi coloured Alloys and the Smash Fighters were all heading into the building for class to start.

However, amidst the bustling crowd of busy students, Mario and the rest of the 64 Fighters were standing at the entrance with Ponny.

Witnessing with his very eyes of the crowd of people, Mario began to hold his chest tightly, preventing his heart to pop out of it.

Samus looked over to the red plumber hyperventilating.

The space bounty hunter walked over to him and placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Mario, you alright?" She asked, calming him down.

The red plumber regained composure and turned his head to see Samus.

"Yeah, everything is fine," he lied, "but don't you think that this is a little too much? I mean, we don't have to take Ponny here if we didn't want to."

Ness crossed his arms and scoffed in disbelief. "Would you rather get thrown in the big house by the Crazy Hand himself?"

"No, nothing like that!" Mario croaked. "Ponny's condition might be too much for the kid to handle! I don't want her to get hurt over it!"

The red hero nearly continued on, but not before he cocked his head to see the small Primid there.

Ponny hugged Mrs. snugglefuss with secure comfort as she listened to this entire conversation, becoming aware that this was all a bad idea. As soon as the courtyard had finally began to clear up, so did every worry Mario had.

Before they could start walking to the entrance, they heard a deep cackle from behind them.

Slowly turning around, they only saw Master Hand floating there menacingly. He waved himself dismissively and said, "sorry for the scare. Here to give Ponny a tour?"

Luigi exchanged his glance with his red brother and they both agreed. Just before her very eyes, Ponny was taken to the main entrance of the school and was set down on the bench outside of the front office. This entire event unfolding before her eyes brought back an odd sense of deja vu, as if she's been here before.

Before her, she saw the window on the office door showing two silhouettes of Master Hand and another fighter with him, talking away and discussing important matters.

Ponny looked down to see her backpack near her legs and Mrs. snugglefuss in her lap, the sudden wave of memories coming back to her.

"Ponny is a great kid here in the Emissary, but our... 'leader' doesn't want her anymore," Dharkon explained, holding onto Galeem's hand. "He says that she is too vulnerable and obsolete to keep."

"Granted Tabuu is cynical and hard to please," the Shelter admin replied, "but why not try taking care of her yourself? That can be an alternative."

The demon mortal shook his head dismissively and brushed up against his angelic lover. "We would, but he doesn't want us to associate with her anymore.

He just wants to pretend that Ponny is not real, even going as far as to keep us away from her."

Soft tears started forming in Dharkon's eyes as he had to endure this awful spectacle, since Tabuu suggested they give her away and cut ties with her.

Galeem hugged his demonic partner in a warm embrace and proceeded to explain more.

"Tabuu can be very ungrateful at times for things he is given. He chooses to be hard to impress, not from the fact that he never got to rule the Smash Kingdom.

His army, comprised of Primids and other creatures he has conjured up, were built for fighting. Ponny does not fit the bill."

The shelter admin nodded in agreement as Galeem's explanation came to an end, the entire shelter gaining more dead silence.

The small Primid was seated outside of the office, hugging her eevee stuffie.

She always knew she was a mistake, especially to the Emissary leader. The number of discouraging insults and misguided attention was enough to get her sent to this place, including the endless amount of abuse she sustained.

"Mean," she squeaked sadly, hugging Mrs. snugglefuss. "Tabuu. Mean."

Her red eyes started producing tears as she listened to more of the admin's words, and dwelling on the fact that she would always be like this - a useless, incompetent Primid who will never amount to anything.

The Primid was snapped back into reality when Master Hand opened the office door and out came two people from the Four house and one from the Melee house. Ponny looked up to see them, only to shrink back in fear.

"Ponny, these three will give you a tour of the school," Master Hand said.

Zelda, Little Mac, and Greninja were standing there, their faces curious as they saw the Primid for the first time. Ponny hobbled herself from the bench, slipped on her backpack and clutched onto Snugglefuss.

Even though they were a lot taller and bigger than the small Primid, they wore gentle smiles and caring demeanors. Greninja babbled through his tongue scarf a happy greeting.

Little Mac and Zelda waved a simple "hi" and took her down the halls.

As the tour started, Ponny was introduced to the classrooms filled with students and teachers as the Hyrule Princess listed off every location they had passed by.

"I'm pretty sure you're familiar with the music room," Little Mac said.

"This is for the fighters wanting to learn music. This includes the timpani, piano, guitar, and-"

"Cello," Ponny chirped, pointing to the instrument the Frog pokemon had his attention towards. Little Mac and Zelda exchanged surprised glances at how she spoke.

Greninja stared blankly at the Primid, shocked at her sudden word being uttered.

"What?" He asked. The small Primid walked up to the violin and explained some more to him.

"Made in 1660. Came from italy and has four strings," Ponny continued, running her fingers through the Cello's soft, wooden surface.

Zelda cleared her throat and clapped her hands together, signifying a conclusion to the tour. "Okay then, the tour is over! I'll go alert Master Hand."

The Hyrule princess padded out of the music room while Mac, Greninja and Ponny were left.

"Zelda's right," the boxer piped in, "we'll find you a classroom to be resided in and bask in the glow of learning!"

What are these people saying? the small Primid thought bitterly, hugging Mrs. snugglefuss.

This is getting scary!
