Author's Note: i apologize for any inactivity that has happened throughout. i was busy with other things (school, life, work, etc.) and i didn't know about the next chapter for Ponny.

In the early afternoon, Ponny was sitting at the table with Mr. Game and Watch and the rest of the Melee fighters. She was hanging her head low with her hoodie over her head, silent tears coming from her eyes. The day at School was a dumpster fire for her as the ongoing harassment she endured from the Brawlers was shaking her confidence and breaking her.

She held onto her Eevee plushie for comfort, as usual, and dug her face deep into it. Her muffled cries were quiet enough to not catch the attention of the other fighters, but was loud enough for Game and Watch to hear.

Turning his head to see his friend beside him, he realized that something is wrong. Game and Watch proceeded to try and cheer her up, but to no avail. The Pirmid was trying to shield herself away from anymore of the fighters, but Young Link and Zelda took notice of her sad cries.

They could hear Ponny mumble something underneath her breath, which they could assume were obscenities.

"...Why am I... a Primid?" Ponny murmured, her face still buried into her Eevee plushie's body. "Why!?"

Marth wrapped his arm around her shoulder and patted her gently, hoping to comfort her. Every Melee fighter joined in to make the poor thing feel better.

The small Primid still felt hurt from the abuse that still happened to her, not knowing what she could've done to prevent all this from happening.

"None of this is your fault," Mewtwo said, his voice gentle. "Sometimes people need to give you a chance." The rest of the fighters helped Ponny with her current struggle and proceeded to escort her to her bedroom, hoping that a few minutes of alone time could help her.

Gently closing the door to keep from frightening her, the Melee fighters looked at each other with disbelief. Ganondorf stepped in and said, "why are the Brawlers always bullying others?"

"It's possibly unknown," Falco replied, "but I would assume it's because their lives are complete trash. It's hard to say what causes them to do this." As they departed the hallways, they came across Wolf and Snake walking with each other.

Mewtwo, his face contorted in disgust, caught their attention by huffing at them.

"Why can't you Brawlers leave Ponny alone?" He hissed, the veins inside his white skin pulsating. Snake simply chuckled.

"We don't know what you're talking about," he sneered.

"Your behavior from before is unacceptable!" Zelda stepped in, "and we'd really prefer if you refrain from anymore of your pointless harassment!" The two Brawl fighters exchanged glances and then bursted into chaotic laughter.

"What are you, our mom!?" Wolf howled. "Why are you people sticking up for a spawn from the Subspace Emissary? You know what she'll do next if we don't liberate her from here!" The Brawl fighters continued laughing and chortling.

Growing tired of this ongoing harassment towards the small Primid, Mr. Game and Watch stepped up from behind Marth and beeped angrily.

"Beep!! Skdoo Boop!!" He snapped, his face turning undeniably red from anger. The rest of the fighters looked at each other in astonishment, having heard the 2D fighter utter a few swear words out loud.

Wolf and Snake simply chuckled it off and went back to strolling down the halls, their mocking laughter echoing throughout.

Roy, Falco, and Zelda were sharing disgusted looks as well as scoffing at the sight of the two Brawlers. Ganondorf and Bowser both looked at each other in disbelief. "Someone's gotta stand up to them sooner or later," the Koopa King said, his bushy eyebrows twitching.

The rest of the Melee fighters departed from Ponny's bedroom door and headed back to the lobby to continue their usual frolick.

Ponny was sitting at her bed, hugging Mrs. Snugglefuss in hopes to comfort herself. She had already endured this recurring trauma that would possibly last for about a year, or until the day she dies.

She cried silently, the only thing clouding her mind are the sneering insults and comments made regarding her species.

The small Primid looked over at her door, waiting for someone to come in and criticize her in person, or comfort her. It could be both, for that matter. Ponny could already feel this hurtful realization hit her, as if she shouldn't have existed at all.

During her constant depression, Ponny saw her door open up a little, making her perk her head up to see who it was, and it was one of the Smash Veterans.

Fox came in and saw the small Primid with her eyes blurry with tears.

He came in and smiled sheepishly, hoping to make her feel better. "Hi, Ponny," he said, his voice low and calm. "I heard you had a bad day."

The Primid looked away, trying to avoid eye contact with the Star Fox leader. His kindness and overall acceptance was enough to catch her attention for a lot longer than it should. He sat down next to Ponny in hopes to engage with her about the situation.

"Are those Brawl fighters giving you a hard time?" He asked.

The small Primid nodded. She clutched onto her Eevee plushie some more for personal comfort, but it didn't work this time. She then choked on her tears a little and said, "why... Primid...?"

Fox perked his ears up in surprise to hear the Primid's words, astonished by her voice being heard for the first time. Streams of tears ran down her cheeks as she spoke with the Smash Veteran.

She used some sign language to explain her recent run-in with the Brawlers, detailing about how hurtful they are towards her and their constant bullying. This also happened during gym class, she had detailed, and proceeded to imitate the ball that Wario kicked into the back of her head.

Fox, sitting upright and listening, felt a slight twinge in his eyes, trying to keep himself together. His face was scrunched in disappointment at the fact that a vulnerable, innocent little Primid like Ponny could be subjected to such harassment.

He walked up to her and said, "you're not a bad person. In fact, there should be no reason that they generalize you for being a Primid."

Ponny scoffed a little and replied through sign language, "you're just saying that because you're a Smash Veteran."

Fox grimaced at her answer and had his eyes gently settle down onto her. "Because I'm a Smash Veteran that doesn't count?" He asked.

"Ponny, I know better than to give false hope to fighters here in the Smash Mansion. As my job as one of the Original 12, I am to lead the fighters entrusted in Master Hand's care to fight, but I am also to keep them safe."

Fox stepped up to the Primid's height and patted her gently on the head, and then walked out of her bedroom.

Ponny smiled a little underneath her plush Eevee and sat back down on her bed.
