How to Make a Family

"See you later Loony!" Blitzo called as Loona trudged her way to school, backpack and lunch all sorted by Blitzo. Hopefully with all the drama over, for now at least, he could get some work done.

'Oh who am I kidding, drama follows me around like a crack whore wanting a fix... Damn that's a good line... Note to self, write song later...' Blitzo as he drove up to a gun store. The clownish imp had a plan, granted it wasn't the best plan, but a plan nonetheless.

"Blitz: Master Assassin... No too generic. Blitz: Murder Master? Closer but... Ah screw it, I'll figure it out later." He said to himself as he drove up to the nearby shooting range. If he was going to be a professional hitman... He'd need guns. Having collected his pay, a good five thousand dollars, from Henroin at the Suck-It-Up, he used a thousand of it to pay for a few weeks at the motel, and about three thousand for off hand guns and ammo.

"Yeah... It's all coming together."

Loona sat behind her desk, as the rest of the rowdy class filled the time talking and already making after school plans. The class was full of various kinds of demons, mostly imps a couple of other hellhounds, and a few succubi and incubi. Sighing, she decided to see what Blitzo had packed for her lunch today. Opening her backpack she saw he had put a photo of her sleeping with him giving the goofiest grin, scribbled on the back was "First family photo for album."

Despite the oddity of it, she couldn't help but smile as she put the picture back in her backpack, feeling around for her lunchbox.

"Okay Blitz, what else did you leave for me?" Loona asked as she noticed a pudding pack, and a room temperature Hellaburger with extra meet the way she liked it. However, that pudding pack did look good though... However there was a note that was taped to the pudding.

"No pudding unless you eat your meat... Ugh, fine." Loona said as she just pulled out some paper from her backpack and began to doodle. She ended up zoning out, so much so she ended up jumping when bell rang, and entered... the teacher. Loona hadn't bothered to learn his name, not caring too, but he was a sinner demon. He was lanky and tall, his head an oblong shape with tufts of white hair on the top and sides of it. He had grey skin, with long fingers and wore a blue suit and red and yellow striped tie, with perfectly round eyes that gave the impression of glasses that seemed to protrude right out of his head as well as the wispy impressions of a mustache. In his hand was a curly yellow cane.

"SHUT UP YA CRYIN' SNIVELIN' HELLSPAWNS!" The Teacher shouted as the entire class shut up. Loona supposed she had it lucky, she wasn't trying to make friends so she didn't have to scramble like the rest of the kids did to get ready for whatever he was going to drone on about. Sitting her pencil down however... caught the interest of The Teacher as he walked over to her desk and before she could move it, he snatched the doodle she had been drawing... A picture of herself and Blitzo... However she had labeled him "Dad" in the doodle.

"Well it seems lassie here fancies herself an artist! And what's this? An imp father... Oh my, adoption is it? Well that would explain you quite well! THAT YOUR FALSE FATHER IS SO INEPT AT CHILD REARING YOU THOUGHT IT WAS ACCEPTABLE TO DO THIS IN MY CLASSROOM!" The Teacher kept shouting and berating Loona, but she managed to drown most of it out through sheer force of will... Until she heard...

"AND I'M GOING TO GET AHOLD OF THIS, THIS SO CALLED FATHER OF YOURS AND BEAT SOME SENSE-" The Teacher's rant was cut off, as at the mention of him doing something to Blitzo... Loona saw red... and then lunged.

Blitzo was having a pretty good day so far, he wasn't going to lie. Guns loaded up for his new career, he was on his way to see if Verosika wanted a quickie, maybe take her and Loona out for a bite when she got out of school. As he drove back to the hotel, he decided to swing by Loona's school. It had to be recess by now, he figured he would wave to her, give her something to brighten up her day. What he did not figure was seeing Loona running toward the van with blood all over her mouth and an angry school security guard barreling after her.

"OPEN THE DOOR BLITZ!" Loona screamed as he quickly did so, letting the hellpup clamber inside as she slammed the door as hard as she could.

"DRIVE!" She shrieked as Blitzo slammed on the gas driving away. Blitzo drove in utter silence, Loona not saying a word either. After a few minutes they pulled into the motel and just sat in silence.

"Do you want-" Blitzo tried to make the first move, but Loona spoke up.

"He said bad stuff about you... Said you were a bad... dad..." Loona said, struggling to say the word. After close to a month, she was shocked she felt this way about Blitzo but... In truth he had been. He had been more of a father to her and shown more care and compassion to her in just one month than her actual parents did for the first seven years of her life. Unbuckling her seat belt, she made her way over to Blitzo and hugged him as she began to sob, tears flowing and washing some of the blood off her mouth and onto the seat below.

"You are a good dad... You wanted me... you do things for me... a-and..." Loona choked out, her emotions running high as Blitzo wrapped his tail around her, and then his arms.

"Shhh, shhh... It's okay..." Blitzo said as he felt his heart well up.

'She called me...' Blitzo thought... as she began to cough... and spat up her teacher's hand.

"... Yeah you don't have to go back to that school."

AT THE GOETIA MANSION

"Via?! Octavia?! My sweet owlette this game of hide and seek has gone for too long now! Daddy is getting worried!" Stolas shouted as he realized... Stella wasn't there, no were the servants.

"Oh right, she was visiting her mother this weekend... Why that needs all our servants I have no idea, but-No! Focus Stolas, daddy/daughter time that's slowly driving you mad takes priority!" Stolas said as he kept frantically searching the mansion. Finally he came upon Octavia's room. He had refused to look there first, since after all, Octavia never repeated hiding spots... Unless this was part of her plan, for a four year old she could be rather devious after all. Entering her room however... He saw broken glass, and a note.

"If you want..." Stolas stopped reading... as fury the likes of which few demons were capable of took hold. He was going to march out, get his legions, and scour...

"... And let Stella know I lost our daughter." Stolas said, his rage stopping a bit, though still simmering. He would need to do this far quieter to maximize the chance of ensuring his daughter's safety. He would need someone who could blend in with the commoners, someone who clearly had no ulterior motives... He reached into his wallet and pulled out the crudely drawn business card of that imp who gave him a ride.

"... Odd can be useful after all."
