Chapter 3 Jake and Izzy

Izzy's POV

As I was inside the Hideout alone, I took out my diary and started to write in it.

Dear, Diary,

Today, I was dancing with my mate Captain Jake. Although, there's something about him that makes him so brave I just can't put my finger to it right now. I mean, every time I look at him, I start to get butterflies in my stomach and I make excuses to leave. like just now I told him I was going to the bathroom. but what I was really doing is writing my diary.

Flashback to earlier...

As Jake and I were cleaning up from the reunion party, we both grabbed a trash and touched each other.

"Oh, sorry, Captain Jake." I said to him.

"Oh, um you take this trash, I think I see more over there." Captain Jake said to me as he left.

"Captain Jake is so handsome. Wait what am I saying?" I asked myself.

Flashback ends..

Anyway, I think I might be falling for Captain Jake. But I don't think he feels the same way about me. Afterwards, Captain Jake came sliding down the pole.

"Ahoy, Iz." Captain Jake said to me as I turned red after he called ms by my nickname.

"I like it when you call me Iz." I said to him as I then covered my mouth.

"I didn't mean to say that." I said to him as he then laughed.

"Hey, its okay, Izzy. I mean we're just friends right?" Captain Jake asked.

"Yeah, we're just...friends." I said looking a little sad as Jake didn't noticed..

"Awesome!" Captain Jake exclaimed as he then left.

Captain Jake's POV

As I was in the kitchen making a sandwich, I can't help but think about Izzy. every time I look at her, she makes my world go round.

"No, I can't be falling for Izzy. Can I?" I wondered to myself as Cubby came in.

"Jake is everything okay?" Cubby asked me.

"Oh yeah I'm fine, why do you ask?" I exclaimed.

"Because you're spreading the mayonnaise, on your hand instead of the bread. I think that tells me you're nervous about something." Cubby said as I looked at my hand.in embarrassment, as I went to the sink and wash my hands.

"I'll make your sandwich for you Jake." Cubby said to me.

"Do you want to talk to me about what's up with you?" Cubby asked me.

"Well, I do have feelings for someone. And she lives here with us." I said to him.

"This doesn't have to do with Izzy, does it?" Cubby asked me.

"What? No, why would you think it's about Izzy?" I asked him.

"I don't know, maybe it's because the way you've been looking at her." Cubby said to me.

"Hey, guys!" Izzy said as I hid under the table.

"I know, about your crush on each other." Cubby said to us as I came out of hiding.

"Okay, maybe we have some feelings for each other." I told him.

"Some feelings for each other? I think it's a lot of feelings for each other." Cubby said to us as Izzy and I blushed at one another.

"I am going to leave the two of you love birds alone." Cubby said to us as he left.

"So?" I said to her.

"So." Izzy said to me.

"I don't know what to say." I said to her.

"Yeah me neither." Izzy said to me.

"Anyway, Izzy, if you're not doing anything tonight, would you want to go on a date with me?" I asked her as I was now sweating.

"Sure, and its okay, to be nervous." Izzy said to me.

"Okay, cuz I thought I was the only one who was being nervous." I said to her.

"To be completely honest with you Jake, I'm nervous to. I mean we have never been on a date together before." i Izzy said to me.

"That's true." I said to her.

That night...

"So, Jake where are we going on a date?" Izzy asked me.

"Oh, we're just going to Butterfly Bluff." I said to him.

"Wow, we haven't been there in a long time." Izzy said to me.

"I know." I said to her as I laid the blanket on the grass.

"Ahhh, this is a perfect spot for our picnic date." I said to her.

"Yes, I guess it is." Izzy said to me.

"Hey, I have an idea, how about we go sailing, just the two of us." Izzy suggested.

"Okay." I said as we packed our stuff and walked back to Bucky.

Once we arrived back on Bucky, I took the wheel and we just sailed around Neverland.

"Jake look, a shooting star!" Izzy said to me.

"Make a wish." I said to her.

"So, what did you wish for?" I asked her.

"I wish we can see what the future holds for the two of us." Izzy said as a whirlpool came out of nowhere, and sucked Bucky, Izzy and I in.

"AHHH!" We screamed.
