Hello readers, I first wanted to apologize for the very, very, very long wait, and, as many of you are aware of, I urge you all to please remain safe from the coronavirus; stay clean by washing your hands, wear masks when you go out or work, keep distance away from people who maybe infect, or just sick with a cold or flu, and disinfect anything that may contain germs and bacteria, whether you're at home or working. I pray the virus will stop spreading and die out before the end of this year, never have I ever imagine dealing with this type of crisis that causes actual deaths in certain places. So please stay safe and enjoy this update.

Lantern Academy…
Harold stared at the bag, as his hand reaches out to it, placed his index finger at the open area to reveal what is hidden inside until…
Slide!
He pulled his hand away when he heard the door slid opened and two young Lanterns came in, he remained quiet as they started talking,
"I heard about the breakup, sorry dude," said the Green Lantern who appears like a tiger, but with three-tails, stands on two feet, green fur with blue-stripes and navy-blue snout,
"It's my own fault, I should know better than to disrespect her privacy," said the other Green Lantern who appears like a red bird but has tentacles for hands and slithers around like a snake, they both stood in front of the sinks.
"Well what do you expect for going through her stuff, everyone knows you can never know someone by invading their privacy," said the green tiger while washing his claws, and before licking his paw to clean his ears,
"I let my paranoia get the best of me, I wanted to know what's been bothering her and I did the stupidest thing by going through her bag," said the red bird while washing his tentacles and then his beak, both creating a water mess around the sinks and to the floor.
"Cheer-up buddy, I'm sure given time she'll forgive you for that, and earn her trust back," the green tiger said after he finished cleaning himself,
"I hope your right," the red bird said after he finished cleaning his beak,
"Tell you what, why don't we head to the chamber later to practice our shootings, that always calms me down when I'm at a rut," the green tiger said as he placed his paw on his friend shoulder,
"Okay, sure," the red bird said as he and his friend finally left the lavatory.
By the time they left, Harold turned his attention to the bag, and thought about what those guys just said after listening to their conversation, which did give him some serious thoughts,
"What am I doing? This isn't right," he said to himself as he pulled his hand away from it, as much as he wants to know whether or not Rayza is a machine, but never like this. He stood up and picked up the bag,
"Maybe I should do the right thing and return it back to her," he said as he stepped out of the stall, unfortunately, once again, he didn't watch where he stepped when his foot slipped on the wet floor those two Lanterns made and fell, which made him dropped the bag as it spilled out some items from it,
"AH! Come on!" he replied, as he saw the mess he made. He quickly got up and started gathering all the spilled items, most of them are gadgets and devices, which proves Rayza is into the technology stuff like his tech-buddies. He picked up hologram-device, as it displays the white ship as it circulates around viewing from front to back,
"Hm… some sort of hologram involving a spaceship, what was it called again… Inter-cep-something," he said before it soon shuts off by the time he put it back in the bag, then he picked up a small cube-circle, which feels kind of squishy, he squeezed it a little and then it display another hologram, only this time the interior of the Lantern Academy,
"Oh… she has her own map of the entire Academy… I wonder why are there red dots on each sectors? Including the one right next to the Orange Battery," he said as he stared at the small version of the Orange Power Battery for a moment before he put it in the bag. Then he spotted a device that is blinking red, almost like a cellphone when someone called or left a message
"What's this?" he said as he picked it up, he pressed one of the buttons and it displayed a small hologram of an adult Red Lantern woman in full-view, attractive looking but too intimidating to his standard type,
"Rayza, I have receive the information you sent me which should seized control of everything we talked about, though there is a matter of protocol that I may need you to follow through, providing that I need to you to sabotage and relinquish-" Bleez said, until Harold quickly covered it with his hand in order to shut it off,
"Ookay then," he said as he heard enough of that,
"So she has her own pen pal of some lady with the shredded up wings; no judgement there," he put the device in the bag and then he picked up small folded up paper, which did made him curious about it, so he unfolded and soon discovered something that made his eye grew wide.
West Sector…
Kilowog is on his way to teach his course, until he heard,
"WHERE IS IT?" he heard a familiar voice,
"We don't know what you're talking about,"
"I KNOW YOU TOOK IT!"
"What the-!" he said as he immediately went over to follow those voices, and then he soon discovered Rayza pinning the three Green Lantern girls against the wall using her Red ring,
"GIVE IT BACK TO ME RIGHT NOW!" Rayza yelled at them.
"What in grotz name is going on?" Kilowog intervened, he turned his attention to Rayza,
"Release them at once Rayza, that's an order," he ordered her,
"I'll release them as soon as they give back what they stole from me," she protested,
"What she is talking about?" Kilowog asked the Green Lantern girls,
"We don't have it," Obwhon said,
"We gave it to Green Lantern Kilowog when he caught us, for all we know he has it," Toji stated,
"Have what?" Kilowog asked,
"The bag you confiscated from us almost an hour ago," Yhava answered,
"I didn't confiscate no bag, I just back from a meeting with the Guardians," Kilowog stated.
Rayza nearly froze by the time she releases the girls,
"If neither of them has it, then…" she thought, and then she quickly left the scene,
"Rayza!" Kilowog called out to her, but she didn't listen as she already left.
Back in the Lavatory…
Harold stared at the unfolded paper which reveals to be a small old photo of a family… 'her' family,
"She has a family," Harold said as he glanced at the photo, he looked at the father, Razer, as he stood next to his wife and behind his young daughter with his hand on her shoulder, Harold compared his appearance to the young Rayza; they look very much alike, but she does resemble her mother. Then he stared at the mother, who is standing next to her husband while holding her young son in her arms, Harold noticed her eyes are not much like ordinary eyes, same with the little boy who clench on his mother in her arms.
"I had no idea she has a brother," he thought, although the boy was no more than three-years-old, and the young Rayza was around eight-years-old, her brother's currents age should be around Callie's, possibly a year, maybe two-years-older; his math isn't too bad nor was it all that great either. Then he thought about his last question he asked Larreef…
("How can you truly tell whether they're truly a full machine or half-machine?" Harold asked, Larreef adjusted his glasses,
"There are varies ways to clarify the difference between the two, but given to your lack of intelligence relating to the subject, I can simply tell you at least one fact; no full machine comes from a group member of a family. If they bear any sign of resemblances from either of the parents, only that's when you know they are half machine," Larreef stated.)
"So she can't possibly be a machine... at least not entirely," he said, before he started to collaborate what he learned today, going through his evaluation upon observing Rayza:
As a machine, she appears more comfortable socializing with other artificial intelligent like LANOS 3.0 than with Khalia, and she causes some frequent interference to small devices near her range. As an organic, she display emotions such as sadness as she stared at the hologram of the former Red Lantern Razer, and she respond to the feel of pain when she was massaging her hand. Then after looking at an old photo of her family and compared her appearance from both her parents, that can only leave one possible conclusion,
"Rayza is only… half machine," he said, as it make so much sense, and it brings a major relief too. It has been bothering him since yesterday and now he finally has his answer, he folded the photo back and put it back in the bag,
"I've gotta tell the guys about this..." he said before he got back on his feet,
"Right after I return her bag first," he said before he leaves the lavatory.
His mind adrift to the thought of imagining the look on Rayza's face once he returns her stolen bag,
(First Thought…
Rayza stood amazed and flustered as Harold brought her bag back to her, he smiles at her,
"You brought it back to me," Rayza said he gave it back to her,
"I just simply do the right thing, like heroes do," he said while acting all cool,
"Well you're my hero," Rayza gazes at him with a loving smile.)
Harold smiled when he imagined that thought, as he was walking down the hallway,
"Hey you guys, have you heard?" he stopped when he heard voices around the corner, he looked over and saw the same two Lanterns from earlier, and they're talking to another Green Lantern, only he has three black-eyes and his head is like a green-jello but no mouth,
"No, heard what?" the red bird lantern asked,
"Word down in the sector that Red Lantern Rayza took down three girls accusing them for stealing her bag," the jello-headed lantern said,
"Ooh… that is a bad move there," the green-tiger lantern said,
"More than half the lanterns know better than to steal anything from the Reds, especially Rayza, she hates it when someone steal from her," the jello-headed lantern said,
"Remember that Orange lantern who tried to steal her project last year, she beats the crap out of him so much he stayed in the Infirmary for weeks," the red bird lantern stated,
"Well I know better not to mess with her, my old man always told me that underneath that pretty little face lies a dangerous she-beast," the green-tiger lantern clarified.
Harold stood silent after listening to their conversation about Rayza's wrath, and then another thought occurred to him,
(Second Thought…
Rayza's body became Flaming Red as she glares at Harold while holding her bag,
"YOU TOOK MY BAG!" she yelled at him,
"No, you got it all wrong, I'm only bringing it back to you," Harold tried to explain to her, until Rayza positioned her ring to blast him,
"I DON'T BELIEVE YOU!" she yelled before…
BLAST!)
Harold stood frozen after imagining that horrifying thought, realizing he cannot hand over the bag to her directly, otherwise, not only will she mistook the wrong idea, she'll figure out he has been following her all day; and there is no way she'll ever trust him even after he got her bag from those three Green Lantern girls. He thought for a moment, until luckily, he come up with another idea.
To be continued...
Thank you for your patience and hopefully you like it. I'll update more soon, and please review. Once again, I encourage you all to remain safe from the virus and stay clean.
