Rachel rubbed a hand against her eyes. She was getting sleepy after she was already done outlining her projects for the coming years. She realized that running her own company was hard, even more so when she had to do it under a pretense. No one knew that the new company that discovered a cure to cancer and the universal vaccine was created by an eighteen year old single mother in a span of eight months.
Raven Corp was striving despite the fact that it had only been up for eight months. She could guess that it was because she was able to use her knowledge from the future to produce breakthrough medicines that would benefit a lot of people.
Her company was a success even though it started small and she had created those medical innovations from the laboratory in another dimension. Of course, Rachel had to use golems to do most of the work. The golems were human-like creatures that she was able to make after the first month she gave birth. They were also the ones who opened up bank accounts for her to put in the millions of dollars that Rachel produced and allocated with the use of her vast knowledge and power.
Also, with her technical knowledge, she was able to prevent some public and private sectors from investigating the large sum that was recently put in circulation. She didn't want people nosing around her business so Rachel had gone to great lengths to keep from drawing attention to herself and her family.
Now, she was giving her golems the task to play as representatives for her small but growing company. At first, she had trouble trying to find investors in her company because it was still relatively new but when people realized that the medications they produced were 100% effective during the clinical trials, there was a flood of people clamoring to be a part of her company's success.
Her medical innovations were a breakthrough that sent the media into tizzy. It was all over the news the moment the medications from her company healed different types of cancer while her immunization shots boosted the volunteers' immune system from various viruses, even the deadly ones.
Currently, everyone was wondering who was responsible for the successful clinical trials and Rachel had simply made her golem go out to the media and state this, "A young scientist under the employ of Raven Corporation. is responsible for the cancer cure and the universal vaccine. She is the contributing factor for the clinical trials' success. I apologize but that is all we are allowed to divulge at this time."
Thereafter, it was smooth sailing for her company from then on, where she allowed her human-like golems - all five of them - to handle the running of Raven Corporation while she took care of her children, who had grown swiftly beneath her watchful eye.
Without her thousand years of knowledge, Rachel was certain that she would have a hard time looking for money to support her family. However, after she had deposited the money in the banks and established her first company, she was able to buy things for her family without drawing suspicions.
To continue with the pretense, she still lived in her grandmother's house, but she also had one of her golems buy an enormous lake house somewhere nice and private as a vacation house for her family to teleport into. They have used it multiple times now ever since it was bought.
Now, she was tired after a long day of planning and multiple experiments. Rachel covered her mouth as she yawned. It was time for her to go back to the real world.
She already finished planning out the next projects after the success of her cancer medication and universal vaccine. In the next months, Rachel planned to create another branch of her company that focused on technological research and development. After that, she would create another branch for automobile and clothing manufacturing as well. However, Raven Medical Corporation would always be her top priority to share her advanced medical knowledge to the world.
Her mental library already had the schematics or patents for such inventions that all Rachel had to do was turn it into reality, but only after creating the necessary new materials to be used.
She was certain those, too, would be successful considering that she had a thousand years of knowledge stored in her brain. It seemed that Dark Raven had made use of her title as the Destroyer of Worlds to accumulate that knowledge from the worlds she helped destroy. However, with every intention to improve on the inventions she learned that would cater to the betterment of the next generation to come, which Rachel intended to do.
More than that, Rachel was also planning to establish Raven Foundation, which would address the social-economic problems by building orphanages, shelters, soup kitchens, free Schools, free clinics and establishing other social group services to help others, but only after her company was done with mass producing the medications for cancer and the vaccines, where they would have the revenue to do all of Rachel's side-projects. That was a good start at least. She knew that her company would soon have a formidable reputation the moment the medications and the vaccines hit the market. Despite the fact that she was selling her products for affordable prices.
With that, Rachel stood up from her chair and teleported away from the laboratory, which was located in another dimension.
She arrived at the lake house, where she had left her grandmother with the children, who had grown to be four years old in the span of four months.
She went to her master bedroom first where she took a shower right before she hunted down her family. She found them in the living room. The children were watching a kid's show while her grandmother was knitting a blanket.
"Mama is back," She called out to her children who immediately launched themselves at her.
"Mama!" They all cried out in unison as they ran towards her. They acted the same way as when they were still in utero. Always jubilant to see her.
Rachel nearly stumbled as the children hugged her legs while they started bombarding her with questions.
"How is your day Mama?" Nathaniel, her black-haired son, asked while Samantha said, "Can we come with you next time. Pretty please?"
"We wanted to create something with you too Mama. So can we go with you next time?" Jonathan added. At the same time, Laura inquired, "What did you invent this time Mama?"
"One at a time children," Rachel's grandmother said while she looked fondly at them. "You only have one mother while there are all five of you so kindly give your mother time to breathe before asking her another question."
"What did you make Mama?" Jonathan asked.
Rachel reached down to lift him up into her arms and said, "Well, Mama is doing some experiments. In the next month or two, I will be setting up another branch of the company that will be focusing on informational technology, security and the production of advanced electronic devices."
"Will you be visiting your mental library often to invent those things Mama?" Samantha said.
"As a matter of fact, yes. I need to do so to see how the materials are made and what not. Fortunately, your Immortal mother from the future has left me the mental library to read through her years of research in being able to invent those advanced technologies she stole from destroyed worlds." Rachel explained.
"Mama, when are we going to see our fathers again?" The children asked as they looked up at her with hope in their eyes.
"Can we see Papa Bruce again Mama?" Nathaniel said as he tagged her shirt.
A feeling of guilt suddenly overcame her when she thought of Bruce Wayne. The last time they saw each other, she had watched him play ball with the children alongside Dick Grayson.
After that encounter, Rachel had grown paranoid that it caused her to alter Bruce's and Dick's memories, which she soon regretted.
She had done so without her children's knowledge and now she felt guilty because she didn't know how to break the news to her children. That she had altered their fathers memories. Again.
"Perhaps some other time Nathaniel. How about we go somewhere else instead? Who wants to go to Disneyland?" Rachel asked.
She was delaying the inevitable, but she knew one of these days, her children would find out what she had done with their two fathers, who lived in Gotham. Well, she hoped she could correct Bruce's and Dick's memories before her children found out about it. She had to do it quickly though before her children caught wind of what she did.
At the mention of Disneyland, the children started clamoring enthusiastically and Rachel smiled at the sight of their excitement.

"How is the company?" Rachel asked one of her golems, who everyone knew as Iona Deveraux, the representative for Raven Corporation.
"It is well. The anti-cancer medications, Radix, just hit the market this week while we started distributing the universal vaccine shots to various medical facilities as you ordered. In no time, most people will have access to the medications and the vaccine," the golem replied, who looked like any ordinary human being with her blonde hair and bright green eyes.
"Great. It looks like everything is going as I planned then," Rachel said as she leaned back in her ergonomic chair. "Has anyone gotten back to you from Wayne Enterprise?"
"Not yet. Although Lucius Fox has expressed interest in our fledgling company and the products we are able to manufacture so far. Thomas Wayne Foundation has also awarded us for the medical breakthroughs with the cancer cure and the universal vaccine we created. It is certain that they will soon extend an invitation to us for their annual celebration this coming November at Gotham City." Iona informed her.
"Well, that's good news." Rachel said, "How about Queen Consolidated? Have they reached out to you yet regarding our proposal for a joint research on cybernetics?"
"Yes, they are very invested in that. A team of scientists from Queen Consolidated is willing to look over the prototypes when you are ready to share it with them." The golem replied.
"It will be ready by tomorrow," Rachel assured Iona. "In the meantime, I will create four more golems to oversee the rest of the company's coming subsidiaries. One or two of the golems will also pretend to be the brain behind all of these inventions, which I can't do personally. As you all know, I need to lay low so these golems are a necessary facade to keep others from knowing the truth about Raven Corporation."
"Understood, Master," Iona responded.
"How about Atlantis? Have they accepted our proposal in eliminating the pollution in their waters with our advanced technological innovations?" She asked.
"The King of Atlantis has considered it and would like to invest in Raven Technologies for manufacturing those techs you promised."
"That's great to hear." Rachel smiled, looking pleased. "Now, is there anything else you wish to tell me, Iona?" Rachel asked.
"The coming gala which will be held at Star City. I am wondering if you are going to send one of us to attend it." Iona said.
"Oh, that...Yes, I will be sending one of you there just to attend. So you must be prepared to mingle with other people. Hopefully, no one will suspect that you are not truly human." Rachel replied.
"I will conduct myself properly when around other people. You need not worry, Master." Iona told her.
"Good. Well, since you are done updating me in regards to the company, you may go back to New York, Iona."
"Thank you, Master." The golem bowed and Rachel watched as Iona teleported back to the real world.
Thereafter, Rachel stood up and went to her laboratory to start with her experiments again. Fortunately, she had created her lab in another pocket dimension, where she could freely explore the knowledge she had obtained from her future self.

One year later….
"Are you all excited for tonight?" She asked her children as they stood at the entrance way and waited for their ride. All five children were dressed formally like her.
"Yes, Mama!" The children chorused.
"We can't wait to see our Papas!" They added excitedly.
Tonight was the night where her children's fathers will be attending her company's gala. Her children had persistently wanted to see their father for more than a year and now when the day finally arrived to see their fathers, the children were beside themselves with excitement while Rachel was overcome with nervousness.
Of course, they were dismayed when Rachel admitted to them about what she did to Bruce's and Dick's memories, but all of it was in the past now. The children understood and forgave her mistake and warned her not to do it again.
Now, however, she didn't know how the men would react once they saw her and the children. Some of them might even recognize her if their altered memories failed. She dearly hoped the men would not cause a scene once they realized what she had done to their memories. The media would be there as well and it would be terrible for their public image if they confronted her right then and there. So she dearly hoped that they would conduct themselves accordingly IF they realized the truth.
"Now, remember to behave, alright? I also hope you will remember what to do when you see your fathers. Remember to pretend that I am your nanny, ok?" Rachel told her children.
"But what if our fathers remember that you are our Mom?" Samantha asked.
"They won't, and if they do, just continue the pretense. Just tell them they are wrong about me," Rachel said.
"But we don't like lying Mama," Nathaniel stated with a pout.
"I know you don't but the pretense is necessary for everyone, especially to protect you from your fathers many enemies. The media will be there as well so it's better if we have a cover story for yours and my presence at the gala. Remember that your enigmatic parents own Raven Corp, and I am your nanny who will be watching you the entire night."
"Alright, Mama." The children said in unison. There was a tinge of reluctance in their voices.
Raven smiled when she heard her children's response. Her children were adorable and she knew many would question them once they appeared at the gala.
Since Raven Corporation was supposedly owned by the children's parents, the people there had no say about the children attending that party.
Still she wished she had completely denied the media entry to the gala. However, since one of her children's fathers was a reporter, she couldn't very much admit only one reporter, which would make other people wonder why Clark Kent was the only one invited. Hence, she had reluctantly invited some representatives from the media at the gala to prevent from raising suspicions.
She could only hope that she won't regret it soon once they were there.
