Chapter 3
Bro Can Be a Player
In Tokyo City in the late hours of the night on Saturday, there is another young adult we are going to focus on who was currently finishing up a beer. The club wasn't his go-to-place for Saturday nights, but his brothers and their girlfriends insisted he come. Of course, it wasn't because they wanted him to have fun, he was quite fun with or without them, no it was to get him a date. "So, you come here often, cap boy?"
"Yeah, usually with a chick on my left arm and a hottie on my right." the young man said while moving his orange ponytail to the back as his red cap kept it all together. He didn't want any of the strands falling into any of the drinks and unfortunately his hair (now just reaching his lower back) was known to get attention.
"Oh, got any room for one more in the party?" the girl purred choosing to stick more of her chest out while leaning down for him to see.
"Hmm, I wouldn't mind someone else enjoying the ride."
"But my bro has to take a rain check on that one." a boy with raven, spiked up hair said while holding onto the redhead's shoulders. "Sorry, girly but he's busy."
"Aaw ok, but here's my number." the girl said while slipping a piece of paper into the redhead's hand then going away.
"Really, Kukai can't leave you alone for one second." the boy said while rolling his dark green eyes as his brother stared at him with his red ones.
"What, I got her interested Ikuto, can we go now." Kukai said while opening a metal container that seemed to house a ton of papers that had numbers on it. This young man, was named Kukai Jojo who happened to be known for getting a lot of phone numbers; however —
"Did you like any of them?"
"No." Kukai huffed while getting a groan from his younger brother, Ikuto. — Wasn't known for dating.
"How did it go?" a blonde boy who hair was in a fringe style asked while jumping onto Ikuto's back who easily took the weight like a champ.
"Good to see you, Eiji having fun?" Kukai said looking at his baby brother practically climb Ikuto like a tree.
"Boy still hasn't found anyone." Ikuto sighed finally pushing his baby brother down and answering the previous question.
"Serious still?" Eiji groaned as he rolled his blue eyes at his oldest brother. Some people didn't think these three were brothers, but once they stood next to their parents it was pretty clear. They each inherited something from each of their parents. Kukai had their mom's eyes with his dad's leadership skills, Ikuto had his mom's strength and dad's hair, and Eiji had their mom's kindness and his dad's eyes. Though it seemed to Ikuto and Eiji that Kukai had only inherited their parents' charm and not the ability to actually stick to someone.
"I'm picky." Kukai mumbled already getting his hands on another drink that had a strong taste of gin and cherry.
"Well, stop that cause you got a list of numbers in that container of yours and I doubt you hung out with any of them." Ikuto said while taking the container from him and looking it over. "Himeko."
"A rich bitch who has too much snob in her veins."
"Sakura."
"Way too much perfume, that would stink up the place everywhere she went."
"Mimi."
"Don't swing that way, but she was cute."
"Bloom."
"Fake name, can't put my trust on someone like that."
"Anna, Chiyo, Hana, Ai." Ikuto listed starting to get irritated now as Eiji just looked through the container noticing they weren't even halfway through.
"Wanted only a fun time for her stay in Japan, helped her fix her car cause I wanted to, so annoying that I just asked for it, and Ai is trying to figure out which gender she likes; I see her totally going for Ume. I should see if her number is in there still."
"Bro, it's all in here! Hell, I even see some from high school." Eiji stated while staring at the cute pink papers with hearts on them. "Have you ever called any of them?"
"No." Kukai sighed while finishing his drink then ordering two more. He asked a bartender to give it to the girls who were dancing happily along to the beat of the music. One had long blonde hair in pigtails and the other had raven hair in a crazy spiked style.
"You are just trying to piss me off, bro." Ikuto said while waving at the girls his brother ordered the drinks for as they waved back.
"I'm sure your girlfriends would say otherwise." Kukai smirked knowing those two enjoyed going to the club with the three brothers. Seem like it was a stress reliever for them all because of the busy lives they lived.
"Oh no you don't, this is mainly for you." Eiji huffed knowing his brother was trying to weasel his way out of this. Eiji couldn't really understand his oldest brother when it came to dating. He was popular and skilled, but he couldn't remember him ever taking a girl to the house for his parents to meet. Though he did know he used to have a lot of fun with some girls, now he was just calm and reserve. It was kind of sad how much he changed over that time.
"Why are you two, so worried about my love life?" Kukai asked while Eiji could see Ikuto kind of tense up since of course he knew more about why his red brother had changed so much.
"You just seem different." Ikuto mumbled hoping the club's music would hide his reply as he remembered how torn up his brother was after his breakup with some blonde. Ikuto promised not to mention it to anyone, not even to Eiji, but even he couldn't hide how much Kukai had changed from their blue brother. Kukai could feel the sadness consuming his brothers and quickly grabbed them into a headlock.
"Hey! Hey!" they both cried while trying to get out of his hold while Kukai started laughing.
"Come on, boys can't get out of my hold. Ikuto you are better than that!"
"Fuck you!" Ikuto growled quickly getting his brother to let go of him while he still held onto Eiji.
"Unfair, you know I never learned to get out of this!" Eiji said while Kukai finally let him go.
"I'm fine, really." Kukai said after they caught their breaths, but he could still see that look in their eyes. "Ok, I will prove it." Kukai quickly made his way to the dance floor and found the rhythm. He already had a couple of drinks in him, so he hoped that would help him forget whatever he was about to do to get his brothers off his back. Kukai could see that his brothers where with their girls, but he could still feel their eyes on him. He sighed getting deeper into the crowd hoping that would keep them off him. He appreciated them, but sometimes he just felt they were overbearing. "But who am I kidding, I know why they were doing it." he thought somehow getting another drink in his hand.
"You looked like you need another drink." the girl from early said while wrapping her arms around him to dance.
"Thanks…"
"Kiko." Kiko smiled while slowly rubbing her behind to Kukai's front.
"Kiko." he said while taking a sip of the drink feeling that this was much stronger than the one before. Kiko was cute, willing to charm him, and more importantly not blonde. She would serve as a perfect distracting especially if he got more alcohol in his system. So, with the club bumping and the drinks flooding his mind, Kukai let himself go for a couple of hours.
"Wow, looks like we both are feeling loosie-goosy." Kiko giggled while leaning against the taller man who seem to be tone with muscles.
"Mhm." Kukai said trying to keep both of them balanced and tried to look for his brothers and the girls. But it all looked so blurry and the music was almost lulling him to sleep.
"Better to get one of those drivers for us both." Kiko laughed while going through her phone app to use PickUp. Kukai nodded along knowing very well where this was leading, but honestly, he would deal with in the morning. Right now, he needed to forget. In the car, Kukai made it a point to not make any of the moves until they were in her home. He could tell they both tasted bitter as his lips found hers, but he would try to enjoy it. After that it became unclear, but Kukai did find himself in a bed lacking clothing in the morning.
"Well, that went as planned." Kukai mumbled feeling quite empty inside as he grabbed his phone from his pants pocket. He could see miss call from both his brothers and a few from their girlfriends as well. He knew they would probably stop by his place or his work to check up on him.
"Had fun, Kukai?" Kiko purred standing in the middle of the door while giving him a cup of water and headache pills.
"Thanks, and kind of, just need to clear my head." Kukai said while taking the pills despite not having a headache though his mouth did taste bitter.
"Fine by me, I'm always here to be a backup in your game." Kiko said kissing him on the cheek showing she was also in it for the fun.
"Right." Kukai said while getting his stuff and setting up a PickUp, so he can go to the club to get his car. "Shit already that time." Kukai started dialing a number and soon enough a male voice answered.
"Sup, boss?"
"Sora, can you open up the bakery I'm going to be a bit late and could you tell Akari to start baking."
"No problem, boss will have Cooro come in as well since Sunday is one of the busy days."
"Thanks, and you're right." Kukai mumbled while hanging up the phone and seeing that car coming up the block. He was definitely cutting back on club nights on Saturday.
