During Unicron's imprisonment, life appeared early in the form of invertebrates, biofilms, and microbial mats, great in abundance at the beginning of the Cambrian period. While life began its flourishing journey, a flying vessel with feathered wings allowed a mortal Cybertronian named Scientia to access the planet. Possessing the build of a strong maiden while covered in armor with the color of the sky, long luxurious light blue hair gifted by Primus, and eyes red as rubies, she was a beauty to behold. As a curious explorer would, she looked at the horizon as she stood on top of the peak, looking into the distance with wonder.

As the seeker of knowledge, she desired to discover anything of value or worthy of preservation that lay within the planetoid's bounds.

Far away from Scientia and at the bottom of the mountain, a shape emerged from the earthly planet. Even in his imprisoned state, Unicron's transcendent evil enabled him to control the exterior of his prison. Snaking and emerging from the dirt, molten aurum flowed alongside raw elemental metals with varying compositions. His vessel began with a skeleton that dwarfed his Primus's creations, followed by a heart forged by his dark energy, strands of metal acting as flesh, and golden armor fit for a God of Chaos. He wasn't just a God as his brother was, but he was the Devil who brought fear into his enemy's subjects.

As a byproduct of his vessel's formation, the top of the mountain collapsed in on itself, swallowing Scientia and her flying ship. Desperate for her life, Scientia tried to find an edge to grapple onto, only to no avail. In her state of fear, she fell asleep, and before she could accept her fate, Scientia prayed to Primus that she would survive the fall. Unfortunately for her, her God didn't answer her prayers, but the Devil did. Before a cruel but fair death would welcome Scientia into its cold open arms, Unicron pulled her away from it. Despite knowing her craft wasn't consequential for his use, he prevented its destruction for her sake.

After his descent to the bottom with Scientia safe in his arms, Unicron made sure to lower her flying vessel onto the ground first. Looking back at the mortal Cybertronian, the God of Chaos took notice of her feeble frame compared to his godly build. To him, she would be an ant had he chosen to make his manifestation twice her size. As he gazed at the unconscious mortal, he had thought to himself that while she may not have the qualities of a champion, she may be of use to him as a lure for potential sacrifices.

Finished with his rumination, Unicron laid her on the ground gently, for she was unconscious from falling. Wanting to witness her reaction, he seamlessly formed a throne from a bed of rocks to sit on to wait for Scientia to awaken. Sensing Energon crystals buried into the walls around the cave, he figured it would be a good shelter for Scientia.

Calling out to Scientia with a rumbling echo, his voice awakened her from her sleep. She looked around to find out that she was in a cave filled with Energon crystals. Scientia looked up to see that the hole closed by itself after the top collapsed, turned to see her intact ship, and finally, her savior: Unicron. Even with her knowledge of the God of Chaos kicking in, she couldn't help but feel thankful for his rescue. For her, she felt honored being in the presence of Unicron in front of her. However, his stern yelling was enough to make her bow as if she had wronged him. For her, authority figures tend to make her timid. Fearing his potential wrath, Scientia reassured Unicron by telling him the truth while referring to him by a formal title out of respect.

After hearing her honest explanation, Unicron's nearly wrathful persona eased itself. Before Scientia came to his prison, Cybertronians who came here to explore expressed arrogance to prove their meaningless worth and gain fame, but this one didn't show those traits at all, just shyness and an eagerness to learn. To ensure his presence wouldn't startle Scientia, Unicron made sure to speak calmly, as it would make her agreeable and easier to cooperate. While he disliked the formal address, feeling like he wasn't a king, he allowed her to do so for her convenience. After acknowledging the shy alchemist's introduction, Unicron advised her to handle her cavernous prison properly, even with the mention of death.

After Unicron made his rules clear, he left her alone to consume her meal and document her studies, writing down notes of samples taken before the cave-in. Unbeknownst to her, Unicron continued to keep surveillance on her. He knew she was taking notes, but he never realized Scientia would be determined to research this shell that housed him. As much as he wanted to make sure she won't exhibit the same traits as his previous victims, he chose to let her write her notes down in peace.

After Scientia finished her documentation, she slumbered in her ship. For her, her ship was the only place she could sleep without anyone bothering her. It was like her second home, and she felt safe within it. For now, she drifted into safe sleep.
