Yu-gi-oh: Kevin's 6th-grade life
A/N:Hey guys, Welcome back to TheLife Channel! (It's been almost 5 years... hehehe.) First things first, I hope you all are staying safe. I have been trying to. Second, I'm hoping soon things return to normal the best they can get, you know, but in the meantime, I am going to try to bring more constant updates to this story. I've been mostly busy with work these past few years. Nowadays with my Youtube Channel and school. Yes, I decided to return to school for the sole purpose to do something else, besides play video games and watch Minecraft videos on youtube (Such a good life XD), and I'm hoping to get a better job with that. Knowledge is Key!
NOTE: Italics with (parenthesis) means those character's thoughts. Italics in Character's POV also mean their thoughts.

Edited: (08/10/21) The first time that I actually felt the epic moments for the main character. But this might be the last revived chapter because I plan to go back to where I left off.
Chapter 5: Mystery Part 2
"I am a Shadow Drone. If you seek the truth, my master says you must duel me for it…"
"Let's Duel!"
Kevin Vs Shadow Drone (4000 LP)
Both players draw five cards from their decks and a purple circular light appears around them.
Kevin: "What the heck? What is this?"
Shadow Drone: "We are playing a shadow duel. All damage inflicted is real and the loser will be thrown into the shadow realm forever!"
Kevin: "Are you for real?!"
Shadow Drone: "I will make the first move. I summon Blizzard Lizard in defense mode." A small blue furry lizard appears with 600 Attack and 1800 Defense points. "Next I activate the spell card; Ice Mirror. With it, I can special summon another Blizzard Lizard from my deck in defense mode. I place a card face down and end my turn." Another furry lizard appears along with a face-down card in front of him.
Kevin: "Alright. I draw." (He played two weak monsters and a face-down card… He wants me to attack. Well, if he wants that, then let's give him what he wants). "I normal summon Gagagigo in attack mode." A green human-size lizard appears with 1850 attack points and 1000 defense points. "Go, Gagagigo! Attack his weak monster with sharp teeth!" The green lizard launches himself at the furry blue monster and bites it. The small monster shatters into triangular yellow pieces.
Shadow Drone: "I activate Blizzard Lizard's effect. When it is destroyed by battle, I can inflict you with 800 points of damage." A yellow beam of light is shot from the lizard's broken pieces and hits Kevin. He is thrown into the purple force field behind him and pain travels up his whole body.
[Kevin's Life Point's: 3200]
Kevin: "Ahhh!" (So he wasn't kidding about that... ) "I end my turn with a face down."
Shadow Drone: "I draw and activate another Ice Mirror to special summon another Blizzard Lizard to my field. I will now tribute these two beasts to advance summon a very powerful monster. Rise, Dark Tuner Catastrogue!" The two furry lizards disappear into two block balls of light and from it, they merge to form a strange black one-eyed creature with a horn sticking out of its forehead.
*Introducing Dark Tuner Catastrogue. This monster is a level 8 Dark/Fiend/Dark Tuner with 0 attack and 0 Defense points.
Kevin: "Dark tuner?" (I've heard of this before…)
"Brace yourself, Kevin," Kit warms him from his duel disk. "You won't like what he does next."
Shadow Drone: "I activate my facedown trap, Call of the Haunted, to resurrect a Blizzard Lizard from my graveyard. Rise my animal." The blue furry lizard appears back on his side of the field. "Now witness as I combine these two monsters."
The blue furry lizard becomes transparent and three black balls of light appear inside of it. Dark Tuner Catastrogue is dispersed into black balls of light. They slowly merge with the furry lizard and now in its place stand five balls of black energy. They orbit in a circular motion and the Shadow Drone's mark begins to glow. "When the shadows are devoured by even darker shadows. The curtain pulls back and reveals a world without light!" A black light shoots down from the sky and covers the balls of energy to reveal a white crystallized monster. "Rise Frozen Fitzgerald!"
*Introducing Frozen Fitzgerald. This monster is a level -5 Dark Synchro Fiend/Water-type monster with 2500 Attack and Defense points.
Kevin: "A Dark Synchro?! Kit, I don't think my cards will be able to take that much pressure…"
"Don't stress. I have modified your deck in case this happened," Kit says. "Just believe in your deck and plan things accordingly."
Shadow Drone: "Now, with the effect of Dark Tuner Catastrogue, since I used it for a dark synchro summon, I can destroy one card you control… And I chose your face down card." Kevin's trap is shattered into yellow triangular pieces. "It's time that you see what true power is. Go, Frozen Fitzgerald. Attack his pathetic weak monster and take it down." The crystallized field holds out his hands to Gagagigo and shoots white crystals, instantly destroying it. Some crystals are shot to Kevin and he's thrown back to the purple force field.
[Kevin's LP: 2550]
"Kevin!" In pain, he turns back to Stacy, who's watching the duel.
Kevin: "What are you doing here! Leave or you'll get hurt."
"Are you okay? What's going on?"
Shadow Drone: "I place a card facedown and end my turn."
Kevin's POV
I struggle to stand with all the pain in my body. Man, shadow duels are a pain. I glance back at Stacy, who's standing there in fear, trying to comprehend what's going on in front of her. I look at my deck and place my hand on top of it. I promise Stacy; we'll get through this.
"It's my turn, I draw!" I slice a card out and look at what I got. I smile and exclaim, "Let's do this! I activate Crocodile Polymerization. This spell card lets me fuse Crocodile King, Queen, Boy, Girl, and Child from my deck to fusion summon, Crocodile Reign of Creation!" A green crocodile with a yellow crown on its head and a long blue staff in hand appears with 3500 attack points and 2500 defense points.
"Since CROC was fusion summoned with Crocodile Polymerization, I can discard cards to decrease your monster's attack by 1000." If all goes as planned he'll take 3000 points of damage. "I discard two cards and now your monster stands with barely 500 attack points. CROC reign over his monster with the blue light of hope!" The Crocodile raises his staff and a blue light shoots out of it towards Frozen Fitzgerald. It shatters into triangular pieces and the Shadow Drone covers himself with the duel disk.
[Shadow Drone's LP: 1000]
He grins and says "I activate my monster's effect. Since it was destroyed by battle, I can special summon it back to my field in defense mode. Also, its second effect; which triggers at the end of the battle phase, lets me destroy all monsters that attacked it." The White Crystallized monster reappears and shoots out more white crystals to my CROC.
"What?" I then grin. "Sorry to disappoint, but by banishing Crocodile Polymerization from my graveyard, I can prevent its destruction this turn." A blue shield appears around my monster, which protects it against the crystals. "I end my turn with a facedown." About time that I managed to inflict him some damage. Good thing I was able to protect my monster too…
He draws. "I activate my facedown spell, Frozen Card. With this, you must attack my only monster each turn and if you don't, you'll take half of the attack points of my monster." He places another card face down. "I end."
I draw. If I attack he'll just bring it back and destroy my monster. But I got to or I'll take damage from his card's effect. I can't risk any more life points. But wait… I look at the card I drew. This is it! "I activate Fairy Meteor Crush." If this goes through, I win. "Go CROC, Attack his monster again with blue light of hope and end this!" A big explosion occurs which sends off pieces of white crystals around. "Stacy!" She jumps out of the way, just barely avoiding a big chunk of brick.
"I'm okay. Did you win?"
I turn to my enemy again and the smoke clears. Frozen Fitzgerald still stands.
[Shadow Drone's LP: 500]
"But how?" I question a little pissed and then see his trap.
"I activated Half Payment. This card reduces battle damage by half," he explains with an evil grin. "You had your chance to win, but now it's time I end this. Frozen Fitzgerald's effect activates. Since my monster was destroyed, I can destroy yours." The crystal beast holds out his hands and shoots sharp crystals at CROC. It shatters leaving me wide open.
"Kevin!" Stacy exclaims worried.
"I'm alright. I set a card face down and end my turn." It's my last card…
"Well, I draw." He begins to laugh and activates a spell, which shatters my last chance of hope. "Mystical Space Typhoon."
"No!" My facedown trap shatters right in front of me.
"Now, Frozen Fitzgerald. Attack and take away his life points!"
I am hit with the crystals and I'm thrown into the purple force field with a lot of pressure.
[Kevin's LP: 50]
"Kevin!" Stacy exclaims and tries to get to me.
"Stay away!" I manage to say, trying to get back on my feet.
She stops and I stumble back to the ground. I lay there feeling hopeless. The Shadow Drone laughs in enjoyment. "I guess this is the end. You can't even get up. I don't blame you. You are barely surviving with 50 life points. Just give up Kevin. My Boss would really appreciate your sacrifice to the immortals."
"Get up!" Stacy's by my side now trying to help me get back on my feet.
"But... How?" How did she get to me? I put my left arm around her shoulder and struggle to get up, but I do get back on my feet again.
"You got this Kevin. Please don't give up. Draw and win." I look at her and see her determination. "Together, we'll draw the card." She places her hand on my deck and I give her a soft smile. The top card of my deck begins to glow bright yellow. It feels like the deck is calling to me. Telling me to make the draw. Reminding me to never give up. I place my hand on top of hers and together, we draw.
I smile and exclaim, "We special summon Crocodile Circuit!" I place my card and electricity shoots off my duel disk to the sky.
*Introducing Crocodile Circuit. This is a level 1 Wind/Reptile Monster with 1000 ATK and 500 Defense.
"This card lets me remove all cards on the field for the turn..." Dark clouds appear above with shots of white electricity dispersing around.
"I activate my trap-" He's cut short because before his card is revealed, a bolt of electricity shoots it back down to its original position.
"When this card is special summoned while I have no other cards, you can't activate any cards against it. That's unfortunate for you." Another bolt zaps his monster and it disappears. With a smile, I hold out my finger and order, "Go, Crocodile Circuit! Attack and end this duel with electrical shots!"
Electricity strikes him and he's thrown to the force field. "NOOOO!"
[Shadow Drone's LP: 0]
He disappears and I collapse of fatigue, not caring to question anymore. The purple force field vanishes and I sigh. Stacy helps me stay standing and I thank her for the help. If it weren't for her, I would have lost the duel.
"Of course, I wouldn't have let you lose. But please explain to me what just happened."
"Kevin…" Kit's voice interrupts. "Come back to base. It's time."
A/N: I have forgotten how epic I felt when I first wrote this. I'm not sure when I will post the next chapter, but I'm hoping next Wednesday night because that's when I'm able to sit and be on my pc to type and revise. Well, I hope you enjoyed it.
